Negative experience: Severely overpriced. Charged $1600 for a crown which i later found out should've only been $600-$700. Broke my daughter's retainer in office and refused to pay for it. It took almost a month and they finally did pay. Caused damage to my daughters crown during a routine cleaning resulting in a root canal. I contacted them regarding refunding money i paid before the bad experience for 2 future cleanings and I was told that it was non refundable. Stay away from this dentist. All they care about is money and not their patients. Im sure someone with super great ins has a different opinion because they never see the bill.

I have been a patient of Stephen DeLoach DDS, DPC for almost 2 years. I can’t talk about this business enough! The staff are amazing! They are extremely educated in their field, and will answer every question that you have regarding your treatment. The staff is always welcoming when you walk in the door. I am currently going through treatment for implant surgery. To my surprise the temporary implants fit tighter than my original teeth did. I had an issue after hours on a Friday and called the emergency number. I was contacted within the hour and scheduled an appointment immediately. I highly recommend Stephen DeLoach and his team for all of your dental needs especially if you are a veteran. My family and I will continue to use The Center for Dental Excellence for all our dental needs and I hope you do as well. You won’t be disappointed!!!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I moved back to Tennessee in 2020 and it took all 5 years we have been here to find a dentist I felt I could trust and be comfortable with after seeing 3 others. My first time there everyone is extremely friendly and it felt very welcoming. Very fast service I had my X-ray, teeth cleaned, and a consultation in approximately 45mins. They also were informative and showed my picture of how my teeth looked not just the X-rays will definitely be keeping them as my dentist.

Negative experience: Dr. Deloch, is rude. all he cares about is money. Doesn't want to waste his time talking to you. He told me that to my face. i will never go back. He puts on a front until he gets your money. My dental work cost me close to $12,000 after the ins paid. I will never go back to him again.

Negative experience: 1)When i asked why the difference in price between a normal crown and an implant crown, i never got a simple answer. 2) Wendy set up an appt. for me to get implant crown scan done. When I show up for the appt., they can't do it because they are missing an implant mount for the scanner. No one ever said sorry you drove a half hour to get here when we already knew we couldn't do the procedure. Wendy just wanted to set up another appt. I asked for a copy of the cost breakdown. Says very plainly that abutment must be purchased for the crown to mount on. Simple explanation for cost difference in item 1) above. 3) today is 1/9. I'm in the grocery store getting ready for the snow storm. Wendy calls me. Says who she is, never asks who I am. Tells me I need to call the VA and get them to call dentist back. I said what? She says same stuff again. I said I've never been to the VA, I have dental insurance. Wendy says "they pointed to the wrong number". That was the end of the call. 4) I get a text when I get home wanting me to confirm the next appt. For which they don t have the part necessary to scan the tooth. How do you spell Cluster F***.

Fantastic experience: Cannot say enough about my first dental visit to this office. I’m no stranger to the dental chair between all the ortho, perio, endo and surgery visits throughout my life. And I was a periodontal assistant before I became a nurse. I believe because of all that, it makes me hypercritical. Everyone at this office was professional, friendly and very patient oriented. My entire visit was pain free having the prep for a crown. The dentist technique giving the injection was excellent. I’ll be back!

Fantastic experience: I walked into the right place. They said pain free, and I thought, that's crazy. They were right, lol. Everyone there are super people, love them all. I love my permanent dentures, they did a wonderful job.

Fantastic experience: Very satisfied with the services, everyone was very friendly and made sure that I was comfortable during the fulling process. Kept me informed with what were doing. Checked my insurance before proceeding and let me know what my out of pocket would be.

Negative experience: Told me I need a root canal so I went to a specialist and was told my tooth is okay and it wouldn’t be wise at all to do a root canal now. Also quite expensive. First appointment I walked in and was told I need to reschedule due to a computer problem they had. They didn’t call me to tell me before I showed up. In response to the reply… Yes the computer problems happen. But your failure to let me know cost me valuable time. Also I understand you are eager to fix any problems I may have, but my experience was similar to what other friends have told me since my appointment there. The treatment you recommended simply wasn’t necessary. My second opinion was obtained at an Endodontics professional. Basic tests were performed to determine the verdict there that your office doesn’t do. Like the nitrogen test that should be normal practice to determine whether the tooth needs a root canal. I am under the impression that the more money that you can make the better. Whether the patient is financially burdened or not. This does create mistrust, and this is why I simply would never recommend your services. Not because your work is bad, although I did hear about such issues about your office, but because of the risk involved of unnecessary treatment that results in financial burdens.

Fantastic experience: Dental Excellence lives up to their name. Staff are great, professional, and friendly. I truly dread going to the dentist but they always put me at ease. 5 stars in my book.

Negative experience: Went in on a pretty desperate day with a broken tooth, I didn’t have any active insurance at the time, I was not given any details upfront right away. They started shoving stuff in my mouth to take x-rays. The very day that my tooth had just been broke off in the shower. I was in a lot of pain that was not cared about the second they found out I had insurance I was treated like trash was given to a nonprofit organization just because I had questions about procedures and money. They have the field and I would never recommend anyone to go there, especially if you’re desperate because they will take advantage! Or try to!

Having said this I have to tell you that I loved my experience at the Center For Dental Excellence from the moment you walk in the door EVERY person in the building is upbeat & friendly. No question seems to be a problem for them & they are understanding when you say you have fears or concerns. I went to a different place prior to this, (rhymes with paspen rental) & I had decided I'd never go into a dentist office again... Thanks to CFDE, I may just keep my smile a little longer

Negative experience: I made an appointment in good faith and arrived early just to be told by one representative that my appointment was canceled and by another that it had beef shortened because a confirmation is required. I "confirmed" the appointment 6 months ago when I made it. When a business needs to maximize dollars per minute to this extent, I don't need to be involved.

Fantastic experience: Friendly, courteous and professional service. Just overwhelmingly satisfied with my experience so far! I went in for a root canal and two crowns. It’s been about 10 hrs since the numbness wore off and I have yet to have any pain or take any medication other than the antibiotic I was prescribed. I’m so pleased to have chosen the center for dental excellence as my provider for oral care. Dr. Deloach and his staff were nothing short of amazing every step of the way. I don’t know what their secret is, but I hope it’s this way every visit moving forward as well. They even provided me with a blanket because I felt cold! From the receptionist, to the anesthesiologist, to the dental hygienist to Dr. Deloach himself, excellent, excellent, excellent! My wife will be going in for her root canal and crowns next week and I’m hopeful her experience will be as good as mine. At this point I trust no one else but them with our oral care. They are true to their name! Thank you for making my experience excellent! With so many dental offices in that same area, I wasn’t sure which one to choose, but now I’m confident I made the right choice! Update: I’ve gone for several visits over the years since my initial review and the service has continued to be excellent! Just yesterday I had a cleaning and they were gentle yet thorough as always. Everyone there goes above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of and happy. I love this dental office and never have any apprehension in going to them.

But, the entire experience at DeLoach dentistry is more like visiting old friends. Dr. DeLoach and his entire staff are very professional yet, down home folks that understand you’re not there for fun , you’re there for them to take care of you and teeth. They treat you like an old friend and they do their job without the infliction of the usual pain. They are number one in their field.

Even though they are not contracted with my dental insurance company, I decided to go there for my dental care. Everyone who works there is very friendly and efficient. My first visit was very thorough. I saw Dr. Peterson, who was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The hygienist who did my cleaning (Emily) gave me the best cleaning I have ever had. She gave advice on how to take care of a couple of teeth she had concerns about, and seemed very caring. I highly recommend Center for Dental Excellence.
