While I’ve unfortunately needed extensive dental work over the years, I’m incredibly grateful that it’s been handled with such professionalism, kindness, and thoroughness. Dr. Salamon always takes the time to explain procedures clearly and ensures I feel comfortable and informed. Dr. Winer consistently goes above and beyond—even checking in with me after procedures to make sure I’m doing well, which speaks volumes about the level of care they provide. The office manager, Linda, and front desk and support staff are equally wonderful—always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. It means a lot to be greeted by name and treated like more than just a number. This is a practice that truly cares about its patients, and I wouldn’t trust my dental health to anyone else.

Fantastic experience: (My first review 06/2023, please see below. I am posting another as per my most recent visit. Lengthy, BUT informative!) April 14th, I visited Dr. Clifford Yanover. Yet again, I was in the best of hands. Always nice to see friends at the Salomon and Yanover office, when I am there for a cleaning. LOL! I was experiencing increasingly uncomfortable tooth and gum pain. After a very thorough exam, and with the good advice of the Doctor, I was back in his office ..... April 18th. .... This day I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Joshua Yanover, an Endodontist. After further examination, Dr. Yanover shared with me my options. None of which I liked, who enjoys pain? All kidding aside, I ended up electing a root canal, for the better of my oral health. This, my first and very difficult. Dr. Yanover was very well aware of my nerves and communicated with me throughout the procedure. I knew I was in the best of care and very much appreciated his kindness ... AND his expertise, to say the least! Lastly, I was beyond impressed with Dr. J. Yanover's follow up to see how I was doing after the procedure. Thanks to all at Salomon & Yanover for helping me get through this incident. (A special shout out as well to Victoria, Gigi, Tierra and Julie! Your help, so very much appreciated!) ---------------------------- June 2023 I've been a patient for a few years at this office. Fortunately, only for cleanings. Always received great medical attention and the staff, really nice. Recently, however, I had severe tooth pain and the office was able to squeeze me in. I was BEYOND grateful, because I could no longer tolerate the pain. Dr. C. Yanover and staff treated me with kindness and compassion. He even tried to make me laugh through my MANY tears! Diagnosis, oral surgery. Which I thought would likely be the case. They did the "insurance homework" for me and booked my appointment with the necessary doctor; another office. Surgery was the next day! At Salamon & Yanover Dental you are in the very best of hands! I cannot thank Dr. C. Yanover enough. He has an excellent bedside manner, put my heart at ease and rid of my pain until surgery. Thank you, thank you, thank you! Best .... cd

Positive experience: This office left me with mix feelings the first time I came in. With not being upfront with cost, and giving me the run around. However the second time around, they felt bad after my first experience, and went above and beyond. However I wish they were able to this first time, I came in. Regardless there a good dentist office to go to.

Fantastic experience: My wife and I have been researching dental practices not too far from Parkland who have excellent reviews. We went to Salamon and Yanover and they deserve the great reviews they have received. Dr. Yanover was a pleasure to meet. He is personable and most importantly, a dentist who is only promoting treatment for essential dental work. We found him honest, sincere and quite competent. I want to also add that everyone we encountered in the office , from the receptionist to the assistant , to the staff at check out, were friendly and competent as well. We highly recommend this practice for any dental needs!

Negative experience: Always overcharged or charged for work not done, past few years! EVERY time they do not follow the schedule of benefits they are supposed to as a Contracted Provider with my Discount Dental plan & Every time I have to file a grievance and the Office has to reimburse me anyway! On one occasion, they were charging me $3 000., and after I contacted my plan, the total was $1,100.00, and the process took aporoximately 6 months to get corrected and Finally get work done. Not legit!!!! No point in continuing to go through or for them to rip me off.

Fantastic experience: I was scheduled for a root canal one week out with Dr. Josh Yanover. I was more than happy to wait the week after the last root canal with him which was the best I ever had. About five days away from my scheduled appointment I woke up in excruciating pain. I left a message for him early in the morning, not expecting to hear back from him knowing that he was completely booked. One hour later he called me and asked if I could come to his office at opening so he can evaluate the situation. He evaluated my tooth with X-rays, numbed out the pain and opened up time at the end of his day so he could start on the root canal. When I went back in, he shared the X-rays with me and showed me that the roots were unusually long and wrapping in different directions which may require more than one appointment. He proceeded to numb out the area and got to work. I have never in my life witnessed a Doctor so focused and intent on solving his patients problem with such artistic finesse and sincere compassion. About an hour in I felt him laser focused and totally in the zone. He informed me that he would like to finish the root canal and proceeded to rock it out to the best music list I’ve ever heard in a dentist office. The next morning I woke up with no pain at all. The reason I’m posting the details of this experience is to underline how grateful I am to have a Doctor of this caliber and a person with such depth of character that he is willing to rearrange his whole day to make my day better. When I was sharing this story to my mom in New York she said the next time she needs a root canal, she’s flying down to Boca to see Dr. Josh Yanover. You know what? It would actually be worth it ! Dr Yanover was very knowledgeable, treated me with respect and explained that instead of choosing to do cosmetic work, I should have been advised that there were infections below my teeth and that should be my First priority.
