Fantastic experience: I literally NEVER have had a bad experience here. These women are all top notch (GIRL POWER EVERYWHERE) The way they are positive & encourage each other is so comfortable & reassuring. Face it...going to the dentist can be stressful. Not here though! My only concern is if I decide to move back home to Pennsylvania, it's gonna be expensive flying back for dental appointments because they cannot be replaced

Fantastic experience: I have been so please with the entire office personnel, at Island Walk Dental Walk. They are courteous, helpful, and always go the extra to help you. Dr. Shulte is wonderful. She is professional, kind, and caring. He chair side assistance are great.

Fantastic experience: Never thought I would say this but I don’t mind going to the dentist anymore. Dr Schulte makes you feel very comfortable, she even sings when working on your teeth. All of the technicians and staff are awesome! Would highly recommend them.

Positive experience: This was the third cleaning I had that they got me in later than my appointment. First time :15 so not bad, Second :40 getting worse, Third :46 never saw the Dentist after I wanted to as I broke a tooth and they ran out of toothbrushes (they free ones at the end of a cleaning). Really not wanting to go back. Just call people if you are running that late, common sense. They front desk sent my father my appointment and not me. It would have been better to stay home today! Just went back and had a great cleaning on time, now up to ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️ , getting better. Okay back to 4 stars, last visit went well. On time and a great hygienist.

Fantastic experience: On Monday, I went to Island Walk Dental Office to have a tooth removed due to infection. Doctor Schulte was wonderful and so was her assistant. They put my mind at ease and the procedure went beautifully. I would recommend this office to everyone.

Negative experience: Wow when you try to get ahold of someone to schedule an appointment as a new patient you get someone from India. They have no clue what they are talking about. I'll move on to the next office that doesn't outsource incoming calls.

Positive experience: I love the Dr, however my last visit the hygienist was not thorough and didn’t clean my teeth well. Pain when flossing missing spots on my teeth. Scheduling is a nightmare with them.

Fantastic experience: Our grandson who is autistic sees Dr Folstein and has not always been receptive to dentists. Dr. Folstein and her staff go above and beyond to make Leyton’s dental visits easy to handle.

Fantastic experience: The hygienist Daphne is always wonderful with my special needs daughter, making her feel very comfortable and is very patient with her. The front desk, dental assistants and both dentists are great as well!

Fantastic experience: I got appt. for day after I called. All staff were polite and helpful on working with my schedule. My second visit, today, went smoothly for impressions. In and out in less than an hour. 07/17/2025 Booked online, got in early next day. Very pleased, everyone very professional and caring. All staff polite and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I was a new customer, looking for a new Dentist. They have a friendly and knowledgeable staff, quick service, reasonable prices. Nurses and assistance know what they’re doing and are able to answer many questions. This is my first appointment in about a decade and they made everything clear and concise. I highly recommend them and will be returning in the future.

Fantastic experience: This is the best dental office I've ever been to, from the front desk ladies, the hygienists (Jackie especially), to both doctors. I've had routine check ups and unfortunately, one emergency visit. They squeezed me in. My doctor, Dr Folstein, was out of town so I was seen by Dr. Shulty. She was so patient and kind. I had a filling done by another dentist in Fleming Island, it had bothered me for over a year. Finally it was unbearable and Dr Shulty removed it and redid it. I haven't had any pain since. I had another redone by Dr. Folstein today so fingers crossed. Their other dental assistants are fantastic too. So kind and comforting. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Had an issue with sore gums. Called island Walk Dental, I was able to be seen that day, the wait wasn’t too bad. The issue was diagnosed, the pain ended by the next day.They made an unpleasant situation, relatively pleasant. The staff is courteous, professional and friendly.

Fantastic experience: Just make sure to wear warm clothing. The office is very cool, however they will offer you a blanket if you get cold. Otherwise they're great.

Getting one or two of these traits in a dentist is considered great, however Island walk is phenomenal.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to this office for over 10 years and have always had a pleasant experience. I usually see Dr. Schulte and she has always been professional, patient, and gentle. I've had various hygienists, and all have been quite thorough and gentle. They offer nitrous oxide and I've used it when I've needed more intense work done. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for a dentist within 25 miles, they are that good.

Negative experience: The facility is great, and the staff is friendly. But completely business driven! Both my hygienist and Dentist seemed extremely in a hurry and aggressive with their treatment recommendations. I’ve been seeing at numerous military in civilian Dentist office and I’ve never experienced this sort of treatment. Again, they were very friendly, but definitely very rushed in business drive!

Positive experience: when I showed up for my appointment the staff checked me in. I asked if they needed my insurance card and was told no. I was taken back to the exam room and the dental assistant looked at my chart and noted that the insurance info was not updated. The assistant checked and I was told that the cleaning would cost me $140+. They had not told me they no longer take my insurance. Very disappointed.

Negative experience: This morning was the last straw with this joke of a place! My son has an appointment I made yesterday to be seen for a dental emergency, part of his tooth is missing and he is in pain. After they called me back multiple times to reschedule or change the appointment to include additional services, whatever. Late last night, I received a reminder that the kids have FAST testing today so I would have to reschedule my son's appointment. I called at 8:05a to let them know and reschedule. I get a call after 9, our scheduled appointment time, to be told, he actually cant be seen there anymore because in February 2023 he was refered to pediatrics? If I recall it was because we asked about some sealant they can put over his back teeth. Either way, we never persued it and have just continued to have his teeth cleaned regularly. He has been seen three times February 2023, September 2023 and October 2024. So apparently they can now not see him because of a referral from 2023, yet saw him multiple times since. And to be told this while I have a kid with a dental emergency. How infuritating. This is in addition to a plethora of other issues, I kid you not, ever. single. time we are in this place. From being quoted and signing an explanation of benefits agreenent to be given a bill for several hundred more after your appointment is complete. To being told while IN THE CHAIR multiple times that I would have to pay several hundred over a regular cleaning. Or needing forms to be completed before my appointment, that I was not made aware of until my actual appointment, again while sitting in their chair. TO having my appointments cancelled because I didn't confirm, when the appointment was a reschedule from the one they cancelled while I was there. It's ALWAYS something with this place. And it's so sales-y. Everything is so expensive and they will charge you 75$ for a tiny vile with a few ml of liquid in it for "antibiotics" for a single tooth. It's wild. They also referenced notes that I had received gas for one of my cleanings, which was also news to me?? I have never needed laughing gas. I drove myself to my appointments. So are you billing too for services not even provided. This place is just ICK. Horrible service. horrible experience. EVERY TIME.

Positive experience: Pretty good place overall. My latest experience was a cleaning only. Technician was very rough and I was cringing, ouching and bleeding. Mouth was extremely sore. Don’t expect to get in at your appointment time either, they are always 30 minutes behind.

Negative experience: the sland walk Dental Care sent me a Bill but it doesn't explain what examen is,only said "balance forward" my insurance normaly paid every thing, I call my insurance and they let me to know what examen was, but I don't give consent for that. they are abusive ones, thet must explain that examen cover the insurance and wich do not
