They’ve worked with me with sedation when needed and now I can proudly say that I no longer require sedation for dental work because of the staff that work here! Fantastic experience: I went here on an emergency visit bc my front tooth filling decided to snap on some granola. I’m only visiting the area and was worried I might not be able to get in anywhere with it being so last minute. Within 2 hours after my filling snapped, I had an appointment! They fixed my teeth right up, offering complimentary nitrous oxide (which was wonderful for someone who is absolutely terrified of getting your teeth drilled into). The dentist, Dr. Kinsley, and Dental assistant, Oliver, were very kind and considerate of my concerns! You could tell they really love their jobs and care about their patients! I’d recommend everyone I know to go to this dentistry, even if it’s a bit of a drive! I had no issues with my insurance and the financial coordinator was very clear with costs and coverage! Overall, I felt well taken care of, which is something I haven’t felt in my hometown in Virginia. Fully considering coming down here just for the dentistry!… and visiting family of course! ;)

Dr. Jansen reviewed my X-ray and determined that she needed a 3D picture to see if something else was causing the problem. She found out that mt tooth was infected and gave me choices. So I had a great experience. I hope that they were a part of my insurance network.

From the moment I called, they were incredibly accommodating, squeezing me in without hesitation. Even arriving 30 minutes late didn't faze them; their understanding and professionalism truly stood out. Dr. Jensen is, hands down, exceptional. Dealing with dental anxiety is always a challenge for me, but she and her assistant were absolutely amazing, making the entire process of my tooth extraction surprisingly smooth. I walked out with very little pain, a testament to their skill. The entire staff is wonderful, and I'm already planning my next visit for additional work.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first time visiting Dr. Guley, at Dentistry at Houston Lake. When I arrived, I must admit I was verrrrrry impressed with the landscaping, and the building even though I had seen it multiple times from a distance while driving past on various occasions… just lovely. Going inside was equally impressive! The “movie theme” decor throughout the facility certainly does help with “redirection” of your thoughts. It seems to alleviate, what I consider to be the usual “air of discomfort” which most individuals typically experience knowing you’ll soon be in “the chair”! Each member of the front office staff were very welcoming… smiles everywhere! Then, there was Christmas! Yes… her name reallllly is Christmas. And to go one step further… her middle name is Holly!!! Yesssss, Christmas Holly. Oh my starrrrs! What an incredible young woman. She not only has a greaaaat name, but an equally great personality too. Christmas is very effective at getting her patients settled in comfortably, answering questions within her scope of knowledge and then refers your concerns and/or history to your specific doctor. Meeting Dr. Guley… oh my goodness, so pleasant and personable! He definitely has a great “chairside manner” and makes you feel comfortable. Although, after my exam, Dr. Guley and I agreed my plan of care would require involving another local specialist first, I have already scheduled appointments for myself and my husband for both our dental needs in the future. Since we are relatively new to the area and have been looking for a while now for a “place to land”… we wanted a dental practice where we can establish a personal rapport with everyone involved with our care. Dentistry at Houston Lake is the practice! Oh yes… as a side note, I one hundred percent do believe people who have a heart for canine companions, and who love and provide for them, are truly caring, compassionate people. That’s the kind of genuine person I want assisting my family and I with dental care. Pssssssttttt… I learned from Dr. Guley that he has a canine companion, a German Shepherd Dog, named Cooper! Ask to see Cooper’s photo♥️

Fantastic experience: I needed emergency care. I was not a regular patient. My regular dentist was not taking care of my situation quickly enough. I called Dentistry at Houston Lake. My first contact (Courtney) was so very sweet, understanding AND made me an appointment the very next morning. I have been waiting for help for over a month. Oliver met me and brought me back. He was the kindest and made me feel so comfortable. Dr Jensen, just amazing. She was so sweet but also prepared to handle my situation in house without sending me several places and with no wait. Dr Jensen was clear that she wanted me to leave feeling better. And she did just that. Exam, consultation, procedure and I was in and out in less than an hour and a half. I’m a new patient !!!! Thank you so so much!!!

Fantastic experience: I love Dr.Kinsley and his staff. I have been coming to the practice since I was about 4 or 5 and they have always been welcoming, kind, and understanding. I also would like to give a huge thanks and a shout out to Ms.Tammie. She has been the best hygienist I could have asked for, so much to the point she made me want to become a hygienist myself, which I am currently in the process of doing☺️. You can truly tell she loves what she does and her patients even more.

Fantastic experience: Every time I come in I feel like a superstar in a movie. From first coming through the door and greeted by my name makes me feel like I am valued and remembered; this place is not a revolving door at all! I had an appointment today and I brought my son with me so he can get used to the dental experience. He was greeted with the friendliest smiles and everyone was so nice to him. They showed him all the tools and even let him overlook my cleaning! He left with a new Batman toothbrush which he used right when we got home and said he loves the dentist!! I've lived in 5 states and been to many many dentists and nothing compares. I actually now look forward to my appointments! I hope I'll never have to move because I will miss this gem.

Fantastic experience: This is one of the coolest dentist offices (for adults) I’ve been in; the office is themed like you’re at the movies and there’s actually fresh pop-corn in a cool retro machine for while you wait (it doesn’t even matter if you get those little kernel gremlins in your teeth because you’re about to get those teeth cleaned up anyways!). Joanna did a great job getting all those leftovers out from the last dental cleaning (that’s why it’s important to go get your teeth cleaned, chew on that for a while if you’re on the fence about cleaning your chompers). Joanna is also good at keeping your mind off of the fact you’re at the dentist, if you have any fear of sharp pointy things in your mouth. The dentist was cool too, and I didn’t have to wait forever on her to come do my exam like sometimes is the case!
