Fantastic experience: Dr Lemmon was not sour(hahahaha), and my hygienist Ashley were literally perfection. Both Dr Lemmon and Ashley took extra time out of their very busy day to validate my dental anxiety and past trauma from another dentist, and made sure to explain every single step a long the way and made sure to ask for consent before proceeding to the next step. They didn’t judge my anxiety, and they didn’t make me feel ashamed about it nor that it was a problem. They also gave me a ton of free goodies that are used daily and that was so kind of them to go out of their way. If they say that customer service is supposed to be truly exceptional, that is EXACTLY what I received at picacho. I never thought I’d say this, but I’m so excited for my next dental visit!!! Thank you Ashley and Dr. Lemmon for being the most patient and kind human beings.

Fantastic experience: Getting that big molar out had me nervous so tried laughing gas. Didn’t help, but I survived, and even though was advised I was likely to have some post procedure pain, it never occurred. That was yesterday and still zero discomfort. Good job, doc!

Fantastic experience: Excellent staff and excellent dentists. The experience was so effortless and easy. Dr. Lines and Dr. Lemmon are both top notch. Not to mention, Dr. Lines has a pretty good singing voice! I have a follow up appointment in a couple of months and I’m not nervous at all. I know I’m in really good hands. Dr. Lines created a replacement crown for me and the fit was absolutely perfect. He is meticulous about aesthetics, comfort, and thorough diagnosis. You won’t regret calling them for an appointment.

Fantastic experience: I was just simply scheduled to meet with Ashley to have my teeth cleaned once again. That is what initially took place, but Ashley also saw something that needed an examination by one of our wonderful doctors. Dr. Line examined me and found that I had a small cavity that needed care. Instead of scheduling me weeks in the future, Dr. Line invited me to have the care done immediately. That was exactly what took place to my complete satisfaction. This is an excellent dental office with terrific staff. I can't begin to recommend them well enough - they are terrific!

They did an amazing job with my child — they talked through everything clearly and made sure we both felt comfortable every step of the way. The staff were extremely patient and understanding, which made the visit so much easier. I highly recommend Picacho Dental for anyone looking for compassionate and professional care for their kids!

Negative experience: My wife just returned from a cleaning appointment with Picacho Dental. She had a scheduled appointment for cleaning. Dr. Lines entered the room sat down and asked his hygienist "should I do and exam or not do an exam and repeated it several times because after all we are not doing the work and will not be paid for it. Then told the hygienist to delete that part or the record that reflected the tooth he wqs referring to that still needed work. His hygienist said he should complete an exam as required by insurance. He then proceeded to do a hasty exam without looking into her mouth, no exam at all. Over the years my wife would have spent in excess of $28,681 before insurance with picacho Dental if she had all work completed there. He also sold her (not her words to me but my interpretation) she was un-American for not supporting the small businesses in Yuma. I guess he fails to recognize that we have lived in Yuma for over 29 years and supported me in my than over 30 year career with the United States Marine corps making eight moves and raising two beautiful daughters. My basic complaint is that she did not receive the proper dental examination that my insurance pays for and didn't deserve a lecture on who or where to see them during her appointment.

Fantastic experience: The receptionist was very friendly and proficient. McKenzie was great. She made me feel comfortable and fully explained all the procedures, She did a fine job on the cleaning. Campbell was very pleasant. Dr Lemmon did the inspection and pointed out a cavity on the x-Ray that he couldn’t get at but tor which there was a procedure. I agreed to the procedure. I appreciated the person who filled out my claim form. She did a super job. Overall it was as good as can be expected for a dental visit..

Fantastic experience: Dr. Lines has a great personality and patient communication skills. He is passionate about his work and gives every one of his patients 110%. We have been very happy with every encounter and all work we've had done with Dr. Lines! Dr. Lemmon has removed wisdom teeth for two of our teenagers and it was a very smooth, painless process and we are very happy with their recovery. Their entire staff is very knowledgeable, efficient, helpful, kind and easy to work with. We recommend them to all of our family and friends! You can't go wrong with Picacho Dental!

Fantastic experience: I really wish I could give Picacho Dental more stars because it really was such a great experience. I have been dealing with a tooth ache for almost 2 weeks now and found out I had a broken wisdom tooth needing extraction. I was so nervous to go get the procedure done. I have extreme anxiety for dental procedures and was already preparing myself for the worst. When I walked in the office was clean and comfortable. The front desk ladies were kind and efficient and the overall first impression was excellent. The dental hygienist Jenny was so kind and immediately put me at ease. She reassured me with letting me know she had also done the procedure before and that everything would be ok. She gave me plenty of tips for the aftercare and helped me stay distracted during the procedure. Dr. Lines was really incredible as well he reassured me I would not feel a thing and he was really gentle which put my anxious self at ease. He was very knowledgeable and explained to me what he was doing and checked in with me through the procedure. I would absolutely recommend this office to my friends and family and to anyone looking for Yumas Best dental office!!!

Fantastic experience: 3/19/2025 Visited Pichcaco Dental again. Went for teeth cleaning. Once again excellent sevice,highly professional and rhe dental Hygienist was kind,attentive and truly delightful. I enjoyed my visit! Pichaco Dental definitely deserves a FIVE star rating. As a new patient, the registration process was seamless and efficient. Their pre visit paperwork is submitted on line and very easy to complete. The staff are prepared for your visit and no redundancy in information gathering. They also have obviously pre read your info. Kendra Sargeant, the Dental Hygienist is very personable,professional,and highly competent. Dr. Lemmons is very professional and has excellent patient interaction skills. I left feeling well cared for and with a feeling of comfort and satisfaction that I have rarely felt with in my interactions with past Dental offices . Highly recommend this office!!

Positive experience: Very knowledge and professional . Concerned with the politics of the local dental office and the Veterans Affairs The only one who loses in this situation is the patient. It took me 8 months just to sit in the dental chair and have the dentist explain he could do the work easily, for he does it all day everyday. He just did not want to wait on the Veterans Affairs. For they move rather slow when making decisions. In 8 months I lost 4 teeth waiting to get to the dentist. If this Dentist does not accept me and refers me back to Tucson. It will be a major blow to my health. It is not fair to the patient / veteran to put them through this political event. Time is not on my side on this one it will cause harm to me the patient. Please figure this out with the Veterans Affairs and put each sides differences on a shelf. The patient must come first. Keith Gren (SFC ret)

Fantastic experience: I have never left a dental place as happy as I left today from Picacho Dental. The staff is not only amazing but also very professional. As soon as I got there and checked in with the receptionist, I was greeted within less than a minute by McKenzie Sanden. I cannot emphasize enough how amazing and cool she was from giving me details on what she will be doing and explaining why its necessary, to making me as comfortable as possible throughout my entire visit. Fantastic experience: 9/25/2023 Yet another very good appointment. This time Dr. Lemon started my treatment plan that is putting in crowns over teeth that had huge old almagma (sic) fillings that are starting to break down. We did three in a row, my choice, Dr. Lemon was fast, efficient and caring. Very happy with my experience from front office staff to the hygienist cleaning my teeth and a thorough exam by Dr. Lemon.

Fantastic experience: Just moved to Yuma and was recommended this dental office. McKenzie Sanden was my dental hygienist and I loved her! She was so nice and told me step by step what she was doing throughout the entire visit which made me feel very comfortable. 5 stars for her alone but the office overall was nice and very clean. Dr. Lines was also nice and very helpful. When he was recommending different ways to fix one of my teeth, he did not try to pressure me to pick the option that was the most expensive which is a problem I’ve had with dentists in the past. Fantastic experience: I have been reluctant to go to a dentist away from my regular dentist who happens to be my daughter. I had a loose crown and they got me right in and I found it is a very professional operation with the latest equipment and technology in place. I am in Yuma for the winters ahead and I just found my Yuma dentist. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I am a new patient this this office, I had a mishap with a tooth and of course it was after-hours and I was in a considerable amount of pain. The after hour staff was wonderful in assisting me in what to do until the office opened in the morning. I went in the next morning and the dentist and staff were amazingly helpful and fixed my tooth and sent me on my way.

Fantastic experience: Hygienist and dentist were considerate of my retired status and fixed income, with my level of understanding, and helping me to understand pictures and recommendations. I felt comfortable with their recommendations. So professional and yet so personal. I recommend them to anybody looking for a great dentist. Dr Eric and hygienist Kendra were awesome.

Fantastic experience: I was visiting yuma from out of town & had a Dental emergency. They were able to work me into their schedule within a couple hours of making contact with them. They did an excellent job of taking care of my dental issue and the fees were reasonable.

Fantastic experience: A wisdom tooth cracked and being a “snowbird” from Michigan, I was apprehensive about seeking dental care here in Yuma. The manager of the park where I am staying highly recommended Dr. Lemmon. I called Picacho Family Dental and was pleasantly surprised that they could get me the next day. From that first phone call until I walked out of the door, I was treated graciously and with the upmost kindness. Dr. Lemmon’s assistant took an X-ray and pictures of the cracked tooth. I wish I could remember her name. The sweetest young woman. Dr. Lemmon explained the procedure and offered a couple of different options if I wanted to replace the tooth. He removed the tooth and other than a little pressure, it was painless and the procedure was about ten minutes! It has been 24 hours since I left their office and I have not experienced any discomfort. I have grateful for Dr. Lemmon and his staff and I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: I need a dental surgeon in Yuma as a snow bird from Minnesota. I googled and found Picacho Dental. Called and got an appointment on 12/27/23. I was so comfortable with all the staff and the way Dr Lemmon guided the nurse to document very impressive! He was sweet,soft, patient, so humble. And his efficient diagnosis on my case was superb.
