Fantastic experience: If I could write a review every single day about this wonderful institution I would I have been at war with my mouth for years and thanks to Dr Chilmaza And his amazing staff my battle is almost over i’ve had some bad medical history and some bad experiences with people that called themselves Dentist, and then I found Westchase Smiles. They have been patient kind, compassionate, and have helped me understand everything beyond the normal care protocol to take care of me and I couldn’t be more grateful or thankful, that being said no matter what is going on with your mouth, your smile etc. this is your cure

Negative experience: "I had a terrible experience at Westchase Smiles. On Monday, 08/18/2025, I went in to replace one crown, but they ended up replacing another crown that did not need to be replaced. However, they failed to address a broken tooth which they claimed needed to be crowned ASAP due to heavy decay that would lead to its removal. The temporary crowns they put in were extremely thin and broke the same day. The bottom rear right temporary crown even broke twice, and they had to grind down both teeth again. They claimed they needed to do this because I didn't bite down hard enough for a good image to be seen for the permanent crowns. The quality of the temporary crowns was shockingly poor - they were no thicker than my fingernail. I was also told I had decay in all of my silver fillings, and they wanted to replace all of them. They claimed I had cracked and decay in my teeth, giving me a total out of pocket cost of $4,898. I ended up just paying $1,854 out of pocket before the work was completed, thinking I really needed all this work to be done. The deep cleaning was good, but I'm questioning it since my wife was told the same thing and went to a new dentist, and they did not need a deep cleaning. Her appointment was completed in 1 hour, and they gave her complimentary images. Due to this awful experience and the substandard care I received, I have decided to switch to Tampa Dental Wellness for my dental needs. I strongly advise against choosing Westchase Smiles, as their temporary crowns are inadequate, they failed to prioritize a broken tooth with heavy decay over an existing crown, they may be recommending unnecessary treatments, and they wanted to replace all of my silver fillings claiming decay in all of them."

I had a chipped tooth and he fixed it for me with such a high end look you can’t notice it at all. The office is state-of-the-art, and they truly specialize in advanced care from high-end cosmetic dentistry to full-arch restorations and dental implants. If you’re looking for a practice that combines expertise with a personal touch look no further you found them!

Fantastic experience: Loveee this place my teeth were so yellow and gross and now they feel pretty and white they’re all very professional they ask you many questions before and they make you very comfortable before your procedure!

Fantastic experience: Went in for an emergency visit because my wisdom tooth was hurting bad and they were able to get me in same day for an appointment. That was amazing. The staff. Were all very attentive and super nice about everything. They were able to get both wisdom teeth extracted and have followed up since then to make sure I feel okay and if I had questions they answered them all. Really great dentist. Very thorough in everything. I have now made the switch over and they are my new dentist. I know I’m in good hands here. I highly recommend this spot and their staff are amazing.

I broke a molar late last night and this gem not only fixed it this morning, but they let me know my insurance was lapsed and still helped me and took care of everything and I will 100% be back!! Negative experience: I am not happy with this dentist. I went for a cleaning, and the doctor told me I “absolutely have to get this tooth out because it’s impacting other teeth”. I went to two other dentists to get second opinions, and they both said they didn’t know why Westchase Smiles told me that, because it’s simply not true and I don’t need to get the tooth out. Second, I cancelled a procedure with them and asked for a refund (over $1400). I was assured the refund was being processed, but it has been over a month of my waiting for it to process and it still is not being taken care of. Would recommend going anywhere else for your dental work.

Fantastic experience: I am just so impressed by all of the staff at Westchase Smiles Institute.. at my first appointment, everyone was so friendly and were more than willing to provide me all the info I needed to understand the treatment plan, and explained it in a way I could easily understand. I was very comforted by Dr. C’s wonderful bedside manner. Also, the hygienist was very empathetic and made sure I was okay throughout the whole procedure. They went above and beyond to make sure I got the treatment the same day as I was leaving for a vacation the next day. If you’re looking for a great dentist, I’d recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone!

Fantastic experience: I started seeing Dr Chimaza for my Invisalign. My treatment is almost done, my teeth are looking great! But, this is just cosmetic. What I appreciate the most, is the way how the doctor and staff treated my son after an accident with facial trauma. One of his front upper teeth came out of his mouth and the other got fracture in half. My son had one teeth successfully re- implanted. The doctor rapidly made 2 temporary crowns for the teeth witch was critical to help my son with the emotional trauma and physical appearance. After 2 months of healing the doctor finally replaced the temporary crowns for the permanent ones. I love Westchase smiles!!, they are the best!!!

Fantastic experience: I needed an emergency same day appointment due to a cracked tooth causing a lot of pain. Their office got me in within 2 hours of initial call, even though I was a new patient! They diagnosed the issue, gave me options on what I could do regarding my pain and route canal, and even scheduled an appointment at another office for me, on the very same afternoon! I really appreciate how easy and convenient it was to get taken care of. They are also very welcoming and nice!

Fantastic experience: Everyone here was amazing! I had a failed root canal and they were able to squeeze me in next day! Everyone was so patient with me during my procedure (extraction and bone graft for implant), one sweet woman even let me hold her hand ☺️ my follow up went just as well! The staff was wonderful I believe their names were Yani and Trish the hygienist seriously made me and my daughter comfortable. It’s a very nice office as well and the whole staff was great with my daughter. She wasn’t scared at all I honestly think because they did a wonderful job!

I was very afraid and very anxious of the procedure, but everyone there put me right at ease, They made the entire dental implant procedure effortless. Negative experience: First visit was canceled a few days before my appointment and I was only notified by text that the dentist was suddenly not available. Second visit today I was taken back 45 mins after my appointment and a full hour after my appointment time I was still sitting in the chair with no service started. They couldn’t find the records I sent on from my previous dentist to the email they provided. Not sure I’ll be back. People have jobs and rearrange their schedules for doctor appointments and don’t take the entire day off for a dental cleaning, I feel my time was not respected and I had to walk out as I have a job to get back to - and now I still need a dental cleaning after getting the runaround here. Greeting someone you take back an hour late with “hi pretty girl” is also weird even if intended to be kind. Why in the world are you advertising you do weight loss shots in the lobby of a dentist office? It gives the vibe you’re trying to profit off patients with extra unrelated services a dentist shouldn’t be offering.

If I knew it was gonna be so easy, I would’ve done it way sooner: no better place to get your wisdom teeth out.

Fantastic experience: I called this morning needing an emergency appt due to severe pain from a cracked/ infected tooth. I was able to get in the same day. I saw Dr. C and he made me feel at ease and hopeful that the pain was going to subside and he was going to help me. He is incredibly kind, great bedside manner & knew exactly what to say to help my nerves relax. The great treatment doesn’t just stop with him! Every employee starting at the front desk (a nice young man & a wonderful lady at check out). I spoke with him when I called to schedule my appt and he was so kind!!! The nurses in the back were very helpful & friendly as well. This office is seriously one of the best ones I’ve been to in awhile. Thank you to Dr.C & his incredible staff!!

Fantastic experience: I took my 94 year old Mama for an evaluation to have an extraction. From the moment we walked in she was treated like a queen. Everyone from the front office to the assistants to the dentist were so kind and compassionate and professional. They were able to remove the tooth and she said it was such a great experience that she is going to continue to use this office as her regular dentist. We went today January 3, 2024 for a root canal And a crown and Dr C and all of his office staff were so Understanding because she needed details of procedure and the cost of the procedure. Everyone is so helpful and patient with this 94 year old lady. Love this office and all of the staff there. 5 ⭐️’s

I wrote this review not only to introduce myself but also because Dr. C is an amazing employer. I literally wake up everyday excited to come to work. If he asked I would probably do it for free! Fantastic experience: I had a wonderful experience with the Dental Hygienist Nathan La Pointe . He made me feel comfortable even though I know the condition of my teeth aren’t great. He completed my gum and tooth cleaning & made sure that I left this office with more confidence then i had when i walked in. Negative experience: Please don't be mislead by their dancing ads on fb... the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly but I am not pleased with the quality of work that I received! I suggest to anyone before going to any dentist. Please do your homework and read all reviews! Also, you want a dentist with many years of experience and a lab that can cosmetically match your previous teeth! I have been going to a dentist for over 50 years and I know quality work. I had several crowns replaced, and they were not shaped like my teeth...the molars were completely flat surfaced. Over the years, I have been to many dentists, and I know that each tooth numbered has a particular distinctive shape and size. I went back to my original dentist, who immediately removed and re- did my crowns so that I could chew my food properly! Other dentists were shocked at the quality and quickly corrected it!

Fantastic experience: I went for a consultation with Dr C today and was very impressed as soon as I walked in the door, not your typical Doctors office very well decorated, clean and made me feel relaxed. The staff were all so friendly and Yani Dr C's coordinator was very professional and talked to me as if she knew me for years, definitely took the edge off as I was a little nervous Dr C came in and explained my procedure in detail and asked if I had any questions and made sure I was aware of every step of my procedure. Fantastic experience: Family friendly. Knowledgable and expert staff. I could feel what I thought was a crack in the back of one of my bottom front teeth. It was bothering me day and night thinking, “What am I going to do if this thing breaks away and I’ve got a hole in the front of my mouth?” I decided to call Westchase Smiles Institute and make an appointment to get it checked out. As it turns out my teeth are ok but desperately needed to be cleaned thoroughly. They did an incredible job diagnosing my issue and resolving it quickly. I felt the difference in my overall health by the very next day. If you are like me and have been putting off seeing the dentist for fear of this or that, please go see Dr. Cesar Chilmaza at the Westchase Smiles Institute.

The accepted my insurance and gave me take home instructions so the process was very easy. I would give 10 stars ⭐️ if available. Amazing services.

Fantastic experience: I recently had a dental cleaning at Westchase Smile Institute and I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming. Nathan was professional, thorough, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure. Nathan also took the time to explain my oral health and offered helpful tips for maintaining it. I left feeling confident about my dental care and will definitely be returning for my next cleaning. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: After having a terribly cracked tooth for over a year, I ended up in a lot of pain and needing to seek emergency dental help. Dr. C and his staff are not only very professional but so helpful and understanding of your situation and strive to make the office a comfortable place that feels less like a dentists office and more like a fun visit! Even with a complicated extraction the team made sure I was comfortable the whole time. They are so helpful and efficient. Would recommend to anyone with bad dental experiences or those in a lot of pain.

Fantastic experience: Fabulous institute! Doctor Chilmaza is excellent, Nathan is a great hygienist and the whole front desk team is very kind. Such a good place that I don't hesitate to drive 40+ minutes to be treated there.
