Fantastic experience: The absolute best dentist I have ever gone to! Dr.Fortier and the entire team are just amazing, so friendly, kind, and generous. My teeth were transformed from me having missing teeth and broken teeth to a beautiful natural looking smile. They listened and accommodated to all my concerns with holistic health as well concerning any procedures I didn’t want to do. After 12 long years of having a broken smile, I finally found a dentist who gave me a smile I can be proud of practically overnight! Forever grateful to this team!

Negative experience: Beware. I almost fell for it! While everyone in the office was SO nice… I should have known. I was quoted almost 5000 dollars and told I have this extensive periodontal disease. At my second opinion this was NOT the case at all… I go to the dentist two times a year. I fell for the 5 star reviews and wanted to believe this was legit. However, after speaking to my friend who had the SAME experience and reading all of the negative reviews with the SAME experience I’d advise you to DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND GET A SECOND OPINION. This office caused me great distress and ruined my day and for what? Some fancy equipment, a gum probing so deep it hurt and was excruciatingly painful, and some floor to ceiling windows with city views? Thanks for being so friendly, but that was my first red flag. THIS IS A BUSINESS. Beware the upsell. Thanks!

The staff is extremely kind and welcoming, and most rooms have large windows that allow you to gaze at downtown Tampa during your visit. I recently got fillings done and I am so amazed and grateful for the attention to detail. My fillings feel perfect! They also checked on me after my appointment to make sure everything was okay, and I find that to be above and beyond excellent service. Thank you for making every appointment a positive experience!

Fantastic experience: Jackson Dental never disappoints. They always have stellar service and are consistently kind and caring. They always provide the personal touch. Brandy is a very professional hygienist and Dr. Sreis is a highly capable, excellent dentist. He rearranged his schedule for me to have emergency surgery the same day I had a simple cleaning. I was leaving town in two days to go out of the country and he knew I needed the service done beforehand. I was grateful that he was so gentle and I came out of the surgical procedure pain-free. The dental nurse Viviana was so sweet and calmed me down when I was nervous and kept reassuring me and focusing on my care. Brittany, who is the financial manager has helped me for years navigate insurance issues and my financial obligations with her great skill and her warm sense of humor. She is a delight. I am proud to be their patient!

Fantastic experience: I had such a great experience at this dentist office! From the moment I walked in, everyone was friendly and welcoming. During my consultation, they took more x-rays than I’ve ever had at any other dental office, which made me feel like they were being super thorough. They even had openings for treatment the same day, which was so convenient! I ended up getting fillings, a gingivitis treatment, and a cleaning—all in one visit. Ashley, Claudia, Delisa, Dr. Aries made sure I was comfortable the whole time and even sent me off with some goodies. So quick, professional, and kind. I’m really happy I found this place—highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Been going to Jackson for about 4 years and will continue as long as I live in Tampa! Best Dentist in town.

Positive experience: They do a great job with the dental services, but admittedly, I feel more comfortable when buying a car and the extended warranty gets brought up. I constantly feel like I am being upsold and have a hard time distinguishing what is actually necessary for my health and what is a “nice to have”. An example of the upselling that is immediately verifiable is an Amazon-esque “you may also enjoy” option of selecting if you’d like to add Botox when filling out all of the paperwork. I’ve never not walked out with an unexpected charge from accidentally saying “yes” to something. For example, my most recent visit I agreed to something for $38… lo and behold when I get to the counter it’s $76. While they do a great job when it comes to the actual dental work and have top of the line equipment and staff, I feel very on edge every time I walk in. Update: Dr. Jackson immediately called and explained how much they value customer feedback and are always looking for ways to continue to improve their great practice, and clarified and solved my aforementioned issues. I will continue going here for my dental services.

Fantastic experience: Easily the best dentist office I’ve been to. Very urgent and efficient with their intake/scheduling process. You’re in the chair at the time of your appointment and met with friendly staff!

Positive experience: Jackson Dental has a beautiful office with a great location if you live or work in the downtown Tampa area. Staff are generally cheerful and helpful. The work they do is good to excellent in most cases, but is expensive. My major problem is one of mistakes that can ruin your day by requiring you to hang around for 3-4 hours for treatment to be completed without much warning. The first time I went for two new crowns, one of the crowns milled onsite was defective and after multiple uncomfortable tries, could not be fitted and had to be completely re-done. Total time was over 4 hours and the remainder of my day was ruined. My next appointment to get 2 crowns was just as bad - after the two crowns were both milled in the office and placed in the dryer, one "mysteriously disappeared," after" falling" into the "chamber" of the device and had to be remade from scratch, causing a visit lasting over 3 hours. No one ever hinted it might take this long for a procedure to be completed. Certainly, Jackson Dental may be a good choice for you, but don't make any crucial plans for after an appointment, or only schedule one crown replacement at a time, just to be safe.

Negative experience: The “upsell” dentist. Geoffrey Jackson should change the name to “Upsell Dentistry.” Please LIKE my comment if Geoffrey Jackson’s clinic tried to upsell you. I went to Geoffrey Jackson’s clinic once and never went back. This review is based on my experience and personal opinion.

Fantastic experience: There was a slight issue/back and forth on the new patient intake forms (the submission system is a little buggy) but once we got through that, it was a very pleasant experience. The office is in the heart of downtown, very pretty views. The technicians and front staff were all very kind Everyone had great bedside manner, explained what they were doing and why, were able to schedule follow ups and weren’t pushy about optional services, which makes me actually want to plan for some of them! The dentist was very kind and personable and made the experience very pleasant and stress free. I’m always SO nervous to go to the dentist and this was a great experience. Their tech is a lot further along than some of the older offices I’ve gone too, less large scary machines and that made it more comfortable too. Thank you for your time! Fantastic experience: Most people don't like going to the dentist, but my visit to Jackson Dental went about as well as you could hope for. The front desk staff were friendly and professional. They got me in and started on me at my scheduled time. Delisa did a nice job taking my X-rays and photos, etc. Cassidy was my Hygienist, she was great. She was very knowledgeable and was extremely careful and thorough while treating my teeth / mouth. Lastly, Dr. Jackson was very upbeat, definitely had a positive vibe. Fantastic experience: I had a great experience! First of all as soon as I walked in they were playing the coolest music. I didn’t feel like I was at the Dentist, I felt like I was at about to go out on the town. Dr Sharice, Bella and Khori were so nice and made me feel so special. Not to mention it’s down the street from my house. So I love how convenient this place is too. The view is really nice too. Parking was a little tricky but they gave me the address of where to park next time and they cover parking for you which is really nice.

Negative experience: This place is a scam! They kept trying to sell me on tooth sealants which was going to cost me 3k minimum. Because I had denied multiple times they decided to change the strategy and say that I needed filling. I asked them if I had any cavity and the answer was no but the teeth was very grooved and had the potential of getting cavities. I had even scheduled to do such fillings not realizing that I was being scammed until I talked to my husband and he reminded me that one of his family members is a dentist. I went to her and guess what? Did not need fillings or sealants! This place wants to take as much money as possible from you!

Fantastic experience: I was on vacation in Tampa when my implant became a bit loose and I felt some pain. It was fitted in Europe and I was afraid they might not have the right instruments to screw it tight. In another country a dentist tried it already but gave up after 15 minutes. In Tampa I met Dr. Kevin Fortier who worked so hard until he fixed the problem. Although I will need a new crown within the next months, I'm free of pain now. I wished I would have stayed longer in Tampa to get it from him. He is very professional, explained each step, was very kind as was the whole team. When I entered the dental office Ashley already gave me some explanation and sent me the documentation so I could fill in everything at home. She immediately arranged an appointment for me. Everything went smooth and as agreed. This would be my dentist, if I would live permanently in Tampa. Big thank you Dr. Fortier!

Fantastic experience: Looking for a 2nd opinion, I expected to hear a reiteration of what my Dentist said. What I found is that Dr. Jackson and his fantastic staff removed my crown, removed the decay, saved my tooth and made my new crown look like my original childhood tooth. I can't be any happier. They have everything right in office. It took 4 hours what would have taken two doctors and 4 visits to accomplish at home... and for much less money!!!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Dr. Fortier if you are looking for a Dentist who is skilled and communicative. Dr. Fortier and his assistant, Stephanie, replaced four fillings for me in one session but were so efficient I didn’t realize how much time passed. Stephanie was very attentive in making sure I was comfortable as they both explained what was happening. I would never want to get another filling, BUT if I had to, I’d want them to perform it again. Dr. Fortier was meticulous in making sure my bite was comfortable and I really appreciated that. I’ve visited this clinic three times and I have to say that this clinic runs like a well-oiled machine. My initial visit was for an exam and Delisa took care of me. She educated me about all the procedures they did/will need to do and why they were important. Ashley, the financial member, took the time to explain all the costs and didn’t push for extra procedures. I definitely needed a deep clean which Cassidy did for me. She was awesome! She was gentle and got gums to look and feel better. And best of all, I didn’t feel judge by anyone here. From the front desk to the back, every staff member is on top of their game. I’ve never had to wait longer than 5 minutes before someone calls me. The young lady at the front desk even remembered me and checked me in. 5/5 Would return!

Fantastic experience: 10/10 recommend Jackson Dental!! Dr. Sheffield and Lety completed all the dental treatment I needed today with no pain and a constant happy, relaxed atmosphere. Another added bonus… I love the convenience of having my permanent crown placed same day without having to come back weeks later. Brook was also able to squeeze me in for a cleaning today! (Top notch convenience) She was professional, sweet and did an amazing job. Finally, the checkout process was effortless thanks to Brittni. The Dentist isn’t typically most people’s favorite place to be for hours, but Jackson Dental definitely changes that mindset. Book that appointment before your benefits run out!!

Technology is up to date also which was neat to see all the information on the screen. It’s been a while since I have gone to the dentist so the experience was great for my first time here.

Fantastic experience: I've been a patient of Dr. Sheffield's for roughly 8 years now. She's been so great about "watching" a tooth that I've been babying for the past 20+ years! She finally told me we couldn't watch anymore. I reluctantly went in yesterday and had the tooth worked on and was a wreck over it. She put me at ease the entire time and with her usual sense of humor made me feel so comfortable. Walked out yesterday thinking for sure that I would have nothing but problems after all the work and woke up this morning with no pain, no sensitive and feeling like a million bucks with a pretty new tooth!
