I was running late this morning, and because of the history we have they knew something wasn’t right. With them being in a new location, I wasn’t sure where I was going. Mrs. Shirley called me to see what if I was ok. I told her I was approaching the light and didn’t know if I needed to go straight or to turn, she said turn. Fantastic experience: I had a crown that was placed at another facility and after three years it came off and Dr. Carlton had to build up and replace the crown. Dr. Carlton is always extremely caring, knowledgeable, and professional. The front desk staff, dental assistants and hygienist are always very helpful and listen attentively to your needs and relay messages to Dr. Carlton if needed. Dr. Carlton is excellent at taking a call after hours if you have an issue and or another dentist within the group if he is not on call. Extremely pleased with Lakeland Family Dentistry and highly recommend this group.

Fantastic experience: Last year I broke a front tooth out the day before leaving on vacation at 3:00 in the afternoon on a Friday… I called with little hope of getting in but they got me in at 4:00 and saved my vacation! Dr Greer and all the assistants are so great! I miss Dr Ezelle but I am very happy with Dr.Greer. I had to have a filling today and that was painless and quick! Everyone there are so nice and friendly.

Fantastic experience: When where you end up at lies the prize... I booked at this office based on a drive-by of another office.. A "let me call and see can I get an appointment scenario." On the day of, I'm surprised as my GPS leads me past where I thought I was headed... I'm thinking, "Oh geez." Let me say this was the best dental visit thus far... Wait, time was minimum... The staff was very professional, friendly, and welcoming. The hygienist left me with such a clean smile and ensure my comfortability throughout the process. The dentist was equally as welcoming and very polite. Definitely recommend if you are searching for some Southern Hospitality with impeccable knowledge and service. Fantastic experience: If one can have a “great experience” at a dental office, this was it. They came highly recommended and did not disappoint. Everyone was great from the front desk staff to Mary Morgan, my gentle hygienist. Then Dr. Henry put me at ease with his genuine warmth, explained everything, and alleviated all my fears. I’ve found my dentist!

Fantastic experience: To be sure, this is a positive. Excellent review. I’m perhaps a little eccentric ( and own it) trying to be entertaining about past terrible experiences elsewhere - as a child— it is a contrast and comparison. This is by far the best experience and should I ever move away, I will fly here to have them treat me, Joy King upfront, and Dr. Henry are absolutely the best not to mention the dental hygienist Context- I over the week of the holidays, a bad timing to need a root canal, I showed up and unexpectedly required one. Within 20 minutes, they had me worked in to a nearby endodontist, and it was finished that day along with the pain. Turns out my ptsd from my past were all set aside by Dr Henry- who I first met over ~10 yrs ago, - until 2020, as we, or I stopped seeing the young Dr. Henry. Then a good and still green, fresh grad. Of dental school I assume we all quarantined- and to my delight , We all quit seeing dentists for some time. I suppose I conveniently milked that outdated COVID excuse to avoid ever returning to one of those little “ hotel Californias” -where even the air/water guns was /is enough to trigger the fight or flight response. Not to mention all high pitched machinery - Turns out my extended absence from those visits caught up w/me and I’ve paid for skipping out on those checkups. Lately, I was in a bad spot, I was desperate and had no idea where Dr. Henry went, so was forced to trust these online reviews to pick a new dentist. Last month, I was again in one of those engineering marvels- a medieval, statistic cradle of nightmares (I remembered as a child )updated so as to give you no leverage; no ability to raise erect to resist.Where we sit awkwardly straggling to figure out how to get both legs on the platform, and fidgeting on where to place the tongue and - helpless to express any meaningful words, but only grown guttural sounds of reprieve at best; or warning at worst to reflexive, well aimed if not for the blinding bib around the neck- and possibly jail time. However, it wasn’t that way now / i was not in a place like the old days , but in my mind it was very real, reclining in one of Those off-white pneumatic contraptions that I once was convinced were engineered to rob your dignity , prevent any possible leverage to resist or escape - like out of some twisted Stephen King novel; Facing the wall- blind to the bits and blades tabled just barely out of reach - all brilliantly meant to disorient and block all routes of escape- and most importantly, allowing easy access for the trigger happy masked man to creep up on you unawares there to begin “the procedure “. However, My childhood memories proved to be wrong here! none of that happened - instead a familiar voice enters and I found I hit the jackpot again in choosing a “new” now veteran good doctor. Dr Henry walked in and remembered me( likely not for good reasons) . But since I have returned- I have found a compassionate, more than competent, friendly, easy to trust guy that just makes you miss genuine people and conversations not mediated by “social media “. I was at a point I truly needed someone like the Dr. I trusted - both then - and much more-so now, and am more than grateful - this is the best around.

Fantastic experience: A person as myself had dentist phobia for years, after running into a dentist who gave me a terrible experience. When I say I love Dr. Carlton, he’s phenomenal. I found him where he previously was. I went to his former place thinking he was there, but they told me he was no longer there. I was like NO I have to find him! Hands down the best dentist. Had a front chipped tooth and he was out of town. I will waited 3 days for him to come back. That’s how much I trust him. His assistant is awesome. She is a sweetheart as!

However, Dr. Greer, whom I've never met, filled in his stead and DIDN'T SKIP A BEAT. He went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and understanding throughout the appointment.
