Fantastic experience: I have been to 4 other dentists in the Atlanta area and Riverwood Dental is by far the best office I have ever been to. Check in process is very fast, hardly any waiting before you go back. Very transparent about pricing. Their tools here seems to be much better/faster than other dentists I’ve been to. They use AI to help locate potential cavity areas. Sierra was my dental hygienist and it’s easily the most thorough cleaning I’ve ever had. They’re very nice about pain management too! Do not hesitate to numb an area that is sensitive without me even having to ask.

Negative experience: I am tired of LOW CLASS HEALTH CARE practices, especially in the state of GA. I have basic dental insurance because that’s all I can afford. This place tries to charge ALL of their patients at least $500.00 in procedures that are not necessary. When you explain that your insurance said otherwise, THEN they tell you it’s optional. Today they tried to convince me that me getting no cleaning is better than me getting multiple cleanings that I can’t afford? What’s the point of having any insurance then? I will be contacting the BBB & letting them know about their lack of ethics all because they want profit.

Fantastic experience: Great experience having my teeth cleaned. Staff was very friendly, sweet, and informative. Didn't have to wait long before getting treatment. Elise, my hygienist, was very thorough throughout the procedures, explained every step, and showed before and after pictures of my teeth. 10/10 would recommend!

Fantastic experience: Great experience. Dr Brady totally present. Felt like he enjoys what he’s doing. Very thorough with information. Did not feel hurried. Assistants great too. The outgoing staff gave very clear fee information. I felt safe and taken care of. I needed a crown placed over an implant done by an oral surgeon. There is a 3 month period of healing between implant and crown. I waited far beyond that. The problem that caused is a tooth will shift when there is open space (the implant being a metal cone shape). The crown has required space perimeters in order to fit. With collaboration, Dr Brady was able get a crown seated over the implant.

Positive experience: *Update* I did not have the best experience with the dental hygienist today. It was actually one of the worst experiences that I have ever had at a dental office. I already hate going to the dentist and she made this visit 1000 times worse. There was also another lady that definitely added to the overall terrible experience today. If it weren't for my experience with Dr. Brady 6 months ago, I probably would never come back here. Dr. Brady is truly outstanding! The level of care he provided during my cleaning, especially with my extremely sensitive tooth, was unparalleled. I was so impressed that he took the time to thoroughly review everything I had written in my paperwork, without asking me to repeat myself—a small detail that makes a big difference. He even took the time to summarize everything, which was so refreshing. As someone with high anxiety when it comes to dental visits (I even wear headphones during appointments!), Dr. Brady completely put me at ease. If you're looking for exceptional care, do yourself a favor and come here!

Fantastic experience: Best dentist I've gonna to in the past 5 years. They have better tech than other dentists and it was the same price including insurance. Very nice and did not try to push me to spend more money on treatments I didn't necessarily need immediately. Definitely will be coming back here.

The doctor and hygienist Yari, were very detailed and kind throughout my visit I received my 2nd deep cleaning on the right side and fillings on a couple of teeth. It was amazing! Fantastic experience: I really trust this dentist and hygienist at Riverwood Dental. Dr. Brady and my hygienist are amazing. They explain things very well and don’t mind me asking a million questions. They’re very professional and caring. Riverwood Dental offer very affordable plans of paying for teeth maintenance. I previously had a dental discount plan. However, their plan for X-rays, cleaning, fluoride treatment, and exam twice a year is unbeatable. This includes discounting any additional dental work if needed. I have had bad experiences with past dental offices trying to upsell me with unnecessary treatments. Not this office! They are honest and have a genuine desire to do their best for their patients.

Fantastic experience: Just completed my 3rd check up/cleaning. Have had 4 fillings from them since 2024. Riverwood dental is always professional, punctual and highly communicative with appointments. Dr. O & Jessica take great care of me every time! Would definitely recommend.

Another added bonus is that they have a gorgeous view for during your cleaning. The whole team was really great & I’d absolutely recommend this place esp for the anxious dental patient!

Negative experience: Called to ask about pre-med as a heart patient, which I mentioned at scheduling appointment. The lady got abrupt and said they don’t do that by policy. Never told me this nor did they give enough to time to call cardiologist. 3 previous dentists, and all handled the pre-med antibiotic no trouble. Difficult for no reason.

Fantastic experience: I love this dental practice and I rarely say love about anything. The decor is pleasing without being cutesy. The staff is helpful and supportive without being intrusive. Any question that I asked was answered promptly and completely. My dental assistant explained everything that was going to happen. During the procedure, I didn't see the assistant but I felt her supporting me. The dentist was very knowledgeable and explained each step he was going to do beforehand. The extraction was completely painless. The aftercare instructions were complete and precise, I had no problem following them. I would recommend this dental practice to anyone I know.

Negative experience: I’ve been coming to Riverwood Dental for the past year, and have loved the experience the past two times I’ve been up until my 3rd appointment on yesterday. I was coming in for a cleaning, which I have been consistent with every six months. On yesterday’s appointment the total time it took to be seen was 1 hour and 40 minutes. I had my daughter with me due to it being spring break so you can imagine she was getting impatient bc I know I was. Secondly, they kept trying to upsell me treatments even after I insisted no I didn’t want the fluoride treatment after I had already agreed to an $80 gum rinse. Even after telling two different employees no, Jessica I believe stated “well you’re already paying the additional $80.” That is so out of line to say considering you don’t know my financial situation. When it came time for Dr.Johnston to see me he stated I had a cavity and needed all these different treatments to my teeth, mind you I haven’t had a cavity since I was a child and my hygiene hasn’t changed since my last appt 6 months ago. If anything my oral hygiene is better since I’m currently going through Invisalign treatment and have to brush more than normal. Furthermore, he is typically pretty friendly but yesterday it seemed as if he was only about business. I thought I had found a dental practice I loved, but now I’m not so sure. I’m supposed to be doing follow up treatment next month, but I’m not sure if I will follow through based on the way I was left feeling after that appointment.

The service and the care I received was amazing. I had a tooth that needed extracting and I was nervous. I asked alot of (a lot)questions and they both very patiently answered them all. I now have a new Dentist and I look forward to my next visit.
