He is professional, gentle and so is the staff. Frankly, I trust him and his staff and they take good care of me. Thanks a bunch!

Negative experience: My first time being there I was getting my teeth scanned for an hour. I was supposed to get my teeth cleaned too but the nurse took too long so they had to reschedule me. Unbelievable Idk if I just got unlucky but as a first time experience it was horrible felt like torture sitting in a chair for an hour straight. Kind of funny thinking about it but I found a better dentist so I don’t see a reason for me coming back there.

Negative experience: Great dentist and hygienist, but the office staff and billing process are frustrating. A year ago, I scheduled an appointment for my husband, provided insurance details, and requested the Representative that I was speaking with to verify the insurance and provide me with the exact out-of-pocket amount for the visit which she did and I was given a specific amount. On the day of the appointment, I received a call/text asking for the insurance information again because for some reason it wasn’t on file and needed to verify it. I provided the same information as before but this time, I was quoted a different amount. I spent a long time on the phone with a few of the office staff including the manager trying to understand why the price changed, only to be told that the office is actually unable to verify exact costs in advance. That was frustrating because if that’s the case, why quote me an amount at all? After multiple calls, I was assured that I would receive a credit to cover the unexpected charge and that I would only be responsible for the original quoted amount. Fast forward to this year: I called to schedule appointments for my family and provided my updated insurance. That’s when I was told I had an unpaid balance from that previous visit. I asked the representative to review my file notes, explaining that I had already resolved this issue, even spoke with a manager and was told I would receive a credit. After checking, was told there were no notes. The amount that was agreed that I pay was applied to the service portion of the balance, leaving the deductible unpaid which of course they are unable to waive And that meant I was still responsible for the charge. I explained that the payment I agreed upon should have been applied to my deductible because I was told that the actual service fee would be credited/waived due to the misinformation provided. The rep I was speaking with just reiterated that the deductible was non-waivable and that I would need to make the payment in order to schedule my appointment so I just went ahead and paid it, I was the call was on the phone a long time just ready to resolve it at that point again. Today was a repeat. I get a text requesting the information for the insurance again. I called in and was told that the new information was not on file again. It seems like there is a disconnect with the communication within the office, whether it be documenting, following through, properly noting files, which is an annoyance and hassle for the patient. This experience has been incredibly frustrating.

Negative experience: I recently visited your dental office and was very impressed with the quality of care and professionalism of the staff. The dental team was attentive and knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable throughout my appointment. However, I wanted to bring to your attention an issue that has been concerning. Ms. Kim, while undoubtedly dedicated to her role, has been sending texts to patients regarding missed appointments that come across as quite aggressive. Instead of a gentle reminder or a supportive message, the tone feels more like bullying, which can be discouraging for patients. I believe that addressing this communication style could greatly enhance the overall patient experience and reflect the positive environment your office strives to maintain. Negative experience: I have zero issue with the dentist or the hygienist. My issue is with the office manager. I received a text message stating my insurance wasn’t in network with them,which isn’t true! I’ve seen them this year and the insurance company paid. My husband had two root canals this year again the insurance company paid the claim. We are in network with them. I don’t know why they said this. I haven’t maxed out my benefits either yet here we are. Instead of having my cleaning I’ve had to cancel it because how am I supposed to trust them with billing? This is ridiculous! Again the dentist are wonderful and so are the hygienist BUT the office manager is the issue. I wonder how many patients have been chased off or overcharged by their incompetence? It’s a shame too when the dentist is so good but are put to shame by the office manager. How am I supposed to have confidence in keeping an appointment with them if the office manager can’t do their job?

Positive experience: My appointment was at10:30am. They finally called me back at 11:03am. That is unacceptable! If running late you should at least have the decency to inform me. I was about to leave. My time is very important as well.

Fantastic experience: Amazing team. Even better wait times. Even better scheduled times! I had an emergency surgery that had to be done the day of visit. I called several other dentist but this one was able to schedule me and complete my surgery within 6 hours of when i first called that morning! Absolutely unheard of! That paired with their professionalism, my wife and i will always be returning here

Fantastic experience: For most of us, it is not a pleasant experience and a costly one. I now have a temporary bridge in my mouth and have been through the worst last week . My Dentist is absolutely amazing, there was a possibility of one or two root canals, his expertise helped me to save money and I did not need the root canals after all.

Medical staff seemed very knowledgeable, and they informed me of my prognosis in a concise and caring manor. Billing and all related questions were answered in detail by the front-end staff.

Normally I don't like to visit the Dentist but at Village Plaza Dental Designs staff are professional and therefore it has made me change my mind about going to see a Dentist. Negative experience: Everyone was kind at the facility and it was clean but when scheduling my appointment the woman told me there is no charge for the consultation unless I got Invisalign that same day but then I was charged $80 after my first appointment I get it if it’s the norm but you have to communicate honestly with people beforehand. If I knew there was a charge prior I would not have gone at all.

Fantastic experience: I had a dental emergency and VPDD was able to get me in the next day. My concern was I had a broken tooth and didn't want that root pain exposed. I was assessed right away, I was able to get all my X-rays and exam done that day. For the first time in many years I was offered a fluoride treatment and a goody bag. Never before during any visit with my past dental offices has anyone giving me a fluoride treatment. As always My Dr. Ebuen made me feel relaxed. Outstanding hygienist, Thank you Laura!!

Fantastic experience: Ever since I started coming to this office this year everyone has been nothing but kind, friendly & helpful. Dr. Eric is super great and explains things very well.

Negative experience: I usually see Maida (not sure how to spell her name), but I had to move my appointment time up for my cleaning due to some scheduling conflicts with work, so I was scheduled for Laura to clean my teeth. Upon entering the room, she had the nastiest attitude. Before the cleaning started, I was very up front about my teeth sensitivity with the certain electric tools they use and she acted as if that was so inconvenient for her to work with. When I requested that she use the hand tools instead of the electrical tools, made slick comments under her breath and when I would ask what did she say, she said don’t worry about it and was extremely rude and disrespectful. She scolded when she would talk and acted as if I’m wasting her time if I’m not going to listen to any of the advice that she’s trying to tell me. After that comment I was so uncomfortable and wanted to just end the appointment mid cleaning. Her attitude towards me and her comments are completely inappropriate and unnecessary . I don’t know if she was having a rough day or what, but her actions are completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I would’ve given this score a zero if that was an option and only solely towards Laura alone and not the establishment as a whole. Other than that, I’ve never encountered such terrible experience with anyone else.

Very professional, very nice and lastly very calming, from the numbing to fixing some cavities and pulling out my wisdom tooth I felt nothing. I had the laughing gas and I felt so much more relaxed. I came in so nervous and scared but Janelle was also very calming and spoke to me during the whole process. She explained everything in detail and made me feel so comfortable.
