Fantastic experience: The lady and gentleman that helped me were so nice. :)
Negative experience: Kind a disappointment because we waited 3 months for this appointment today 12/17/2025 and did not get any reminders call or text. I called last week to check in but the machine answered so I put my phone numbers for them to call me back but no call back from them. I called today and just found out today is my daughter appointment but now they will need her insurance to verify but will take 48 hours meaning we have to reschedule and their next opening for new patients is in June. I picked this place to make to go to because reviews is good but not I would not recommend to family and friends. Thank you

Negative experience: If I could give a zero I would. My daughter took my Autistic grandson in to this place and they called cps on her because of his teeth. They definitely need to be more educated on special needs children. If you have a special needs child, I do not recommend this place

Negative experience: The dentist are useless and lazy. My male dentist last year supposedly removed the cavity that I had and he filled it in..& 1 year later it’s back and even worse than the first time I went to remove the cavity. And now it’s nearly touching my nerve. Talking about I need a root canal plus $1500 for a crown. Plus,, I need to do the receptionist job and call the endodontist AND also look for a general dentistry myself and when I do all that,, give them the referral. And still they sent me home without no help for my bleeding gums And a half filled tooth This is the most uncaring, unprofessional, laziest facility I’ve ever seen. Only The receptionist are ok.
Fantastic experience: These people are angels. Beautiful work, professional and heartfelt. I'll be returning to them for all dental care after they saved my chipped tooth in time for my son's funeral.

Negative experience: Does not accommodate wheelchair bound clients or clients with special needs. Professionals refused to provide reasonable assistance and outright refused care for my friend. They didn’t want to work with her despite being the only place that takes Medicare within a 100mile radius. Absolutely hateful staff

Negative experience: I was not treated or cleaned teeth. They wrote on my paper that I have a severe gag reflex. I didn't gag one time they did the bare minimum and did not help at all didn't seem like they cared

Negative experience: Came in for a cleaning and just got my teeth grinded on and I asked if they was going to do anything else and the dental hygieniest said no that was ur cleaning treatment was very confused never just had my teeth grinded on always had them brushed and flossed and fluoride treatment any other time I've had a cleaning done

Positive experience: This is my second review in two years. Last year was a not so great experience. So, I was a bit apprehensive about bringing my three children—under 14 years old, for their appointments today. I was worried about the long wait times and unprofessional staff from last year, but I am happy to say that today’s visit completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment we stepped in, two friendly office staff greeted us warmly. One ensured our check-in went smoothly and updated all necessary information professionally and patiently. The waiting time was surprisingly short—I arrived 30 minutes early to handle paperwork, and I was able to update my children’s records online beforehand, which saved us so much time. We only waited about 10-15 minutes before the hygienist called each of my kids. Impressively, all three were in separate chairs at the same time, making the process efficient. The hygienists and assistants were not only courteous and professional but also made my children feel at ease. Although the cleaning felt quick, I trust they thoroughly did their job. The dentist didn’t say much—just applied a sticky fluoride treatment and checked in with me, showing professionalism and attentiveness. He asked if I had concerns and responded thoughtfully, though it felt a little rushed—understandable in a busy environment. Overall, I’m genuinely impressed by the positive changes in the staff and the inviting environment. I’d rate this visit an 8 out of 10. My kids and I truly appreciate the dedication and care these professionals put into their work. Thank you! Pros: Clean, friendly assistants, hygienists, dentists, and staff; affordable prices; TV to keep kids entertained (but bring phone or tablet for better entertainment). Cons: Long wait for appointments—took a while to get in—an appointment took 3-months. The decor is a bit bland, the ansthetics are kidish, and the kids’ teeth cleaning seemed a bit rushed.

Negative experience: I shared what we had been through over the summer with insurance and her initial dental home, trying to get my 3 year old autistic daughter the care she needed and was given a short list of dentists to contact, including the one that was a part of our journey, THAT WE HAD ALREADY been to. Did they even listen to anything I had to say and how it had been a struggle finding a new office to get her in on our new insurance, clearly not.I can not specifically say who did it, but if ANY of them had ANY experience with autism and their teeth health and challenges maybe they would have thought twice about their choice to file a report with CPS claiming that I am doing nothing about my child's teeth after spending 2 hours as a walk in just hoping for an earlier appointment than the one we had scheduled for the following week. I cancelled both mine and my daughter's appointments that we had coming up because if they didn't listen or care then, why would they care or listen a week later? Luckily I have all the paperwork and emails and appointments as proof to everything we have done and are trying to do so the case will be cleared in no time. I should have listened to my better judgment because every time I go around or past that office there are always sketchy people outside making it a bit uncomfortable to walk in. If you have special needs or a child with special needs, I do not recommend this place AT ALL. The receptionist sitting in chairs at the front were very kind to my daughter and myself.

Fantastic experience: Very thankful they could get me in so quickly my daughter was complaining of tooth pain. She’s five years old so they couldn’t do anything for her then get her a referral which is very helpful since I just moved back down to the area but still was very nice, Dr Kani was very sweet to both me and my daughter. I really liked the assistant as well I didn’t catch her name but she had a pixie cut and red hair thank you ladies

Negative experience: I was told this place doesn't see kids by the lady at the desk. I had my 7 year old niece and was filling out the intake and was given a flier to go to Evansville Pediatric Dentistry. Don't come hear for your family. They will kick you to the curb and tell you they won't see your child!

Negative experience: Horrible place. They seriously told me that for an emergency broken tooth for my 13 year old, who's in severe pain, can don't be seen until APRIL 2026!!!??? Excuse me!? Hate to have them for a real Dr!

Positive experience: The people were great, i had to leave my top teeth there to fix but when i first had gotten my teeth it took 21 weeks to get them, and then they were to big so i went back and the dentist tried to file them down but they wewe still to big so i went back and ask him to reline them he said he would contact my ins but they denied it because they said they were under warrnety and he was trying to charge them ,so i have been without teeth for a year and a half. But he left and now i have a lady dentist i like her

When no other dentist around wanted to take my insurance because they weren't making enough money back from medicaid this Dentist never turned me away and is doing everything he can to correct my teeth to help me feel better which should have been done years ago!!! Positive experience: I was and so much pain coming too this place just wanted get my teeth pulled out every body I asked keep telling me go Aspen but there was book too October 25 or the 20th, but I know I couldn’t wait that long so I was willing to pay to get my teeth. It sucks when you got no Medicaid and you are paying 49$ for your x-ray and 466.40$ for one teeth Miami I got 5 Taken out for $650 and the $100$ Esther for sleeping gas but I guess when you and another state this how things work in Evansville but I was happy they took my teeth out but was not happy for going back work with dealing with pain and was not prescribe nothing on the paper It said aspirin Tylenol or Advil for pain, but I was taking for pain last time when I got my teeth taken out was ibuprofen. They prescribed me 800 mg for the pain anytime to make the swelling. Go down faster within 24 hours.

Negative experience: Absolute waste of time. I had an appointment to get a tooth pulled went in and did my paperwork and gave it back to the lady at the front desk and I asked about payment plans I saw on google and she was extremely rude and just said "what payment plans we don't do payment plans" then she had me pay like $90 just to go back and see the dentist but not before waiting in the waiting room for AN HOUR. Finally got in a chair and they did a xray of my teeth then I waited another 30 minutes for the dentist to come in. He just said what I already knew and said " yup you have a broken tooth it's gotta be pulled it'll be $600". I just got up and left after he also said they do not do payment plans like it says they do on the website. DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY

Negative experience: I went in to have two teeth removed, next morning I woke with fevers of 102, couldn't swallow and face is swollen. went to the doctor and was told I have a very bad infection and that the dentist should have seen this and prescribed me antibiotics. The doctor called this place a chop house.

Negative experience: Last time I left a good review but today was not a good time. My kids went back over half an hour past their appointment time. The receptionist and both the hygienist seemed like they hated their job. The only positive experience was that the dentist was very nice and upbeat!

Negative experience: Don't see how they're rated 4 stars. At all. Must be a lot of fake reviews. The front desk staff and dentists are rude as hell. The dentists don't care about patients, don't listen, and don't talk to you. The only somewhat friendly people who work there are the dental assistants, and they all seem completely incompetent with no clue what they're doing. Nobody goes here for the service, let's be real. You go here because you can't afford to go anywhere else. They have signs up saying they want 5 star reviews, and emailed me asking for that. At first I didn't want to post a review in fear of retaliation, but after going there yesterday and having another bad experience, I think it's time. If they want to no longer see me as a patient due to my negative review, then so be it. People need to know this isn't a 4 star place.

Negative experience: Worst dental care EVER! They literally do NOT care about you, just moving people in and out. Horrible cleanings and they lose your paper work. They have lost our dentures 2 times while making them. This is a long process and not having dentures during this time is affecting our lives horribly!!!!!! No one in the office, office Manager or no one apologizes, they even blamed it on UPS delivery and then said they did t have a tracking number to find the dentures. What a mess. You can never get through the phone number so I drive across town every time I need to make an appointment which is much quicker than waiting 45 mins on hold and getting an appointment in 60 days. If you go to the office you can get appt in a week or so. What kind of process is this!?! Definitely filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau

Negative experience: Zero stars if that was a possibility, I understand things happen. They actively choose not to communicate with you while you’re there. I waited over an hour for an appointment I had scheduled. I had to just cancel the appointment and even then they showed no sympathy, coming from someone who understands customer service and things don’t always work perfectly. I wasn’t rude and was more than understanding, wasted over a hour of my time for nothing. First and last time going to this place. Honestly just use this as a last resort or not at all.

Fantastic experience: Dentist was awesome. He seemed to really care. He went over my X-rays with me, explained what I needed to have done. I've never had a doctor treat me as professionally and caringly at the same time. Cost was very reasonable, too.

Negative experience: This place is still garbage. I went in to get a barely broken tooth fixed or pulled. I still have 90% of that tooth. They took my appointment money and tried to refer me to an oral surgeon. I made clear again that I just need a tooth pulled so the young fella relented and then tried to pull my tooth without any thing to numb my mouth UPDATE: 1 year later. still garbage… fraudsters more like it. Tried to get an appointment for an extraction. They want me to wait 2 months to get ANOTHER “consultation AND THEN make another appointment after to have it removed.
Negative experience: They were all nice. They didn't get the po from my insurance before they started work on a crown. It was denied. They didn't even call me to finish my tooh. I called them they said come in we will take care of it. Then they would not put the crown on until I paid them $1100.00 I feel they knew it would be denied. The tooth was cracked but didn't hurt. The Dentist said I needed it done. I thought he knew best. Iam never going back to them.
Fantastic experience: I’ve never had such a patient and kind oral care team. They’re working with me so much to help me fix my teeth and They accept Medicaid. And best of all, they were GREAT with my two year old daughter. They were so patient and gentle with her and myself. 10/10. Recommend this dentist to everyone.
Positive experience: I have only had a few appointmens and I’ve had zero issues. I had extractions done with very little pain afterwards. I was really impressed with that, typically I would have had a lot of pain. The pain didn’t last long at all few days and tolerable. The Dr was very nice and quick to get me out which I appreciate. Excited to see my end results!!!
Negative experience: If I could give zero stars I would. Arrived to my appointment 15 minutes early. Had to fill out online paper for second time because they didn’t get it the first time. Then proceeded to wait until everyone in lobby went back as I still waited….When I ask if I was forgotten I was told he had a very busy schedule. 36 minutes after my appointment time I left without seeing anyone. Very disappointing. Unfortunately when you don’t have dental insurance this is what you get. I will be purchasing insurance in the near future.
Fantastic experience: The team who took my x-rays and the dentist who gave me my results and options were so amazing! The receptionist at the front desk however seemed to be having a bad day which made it hard for me to approach and communicate with. She seemed irritated or something?? Not sure honestly but I had a really great experience in the back overall which is why I still give a 5 star review. The team in the back was so sweet that the experience I had at the front desk was forgotten about. They even took into consideration the pain I was feeling in my mouth as they looked around inside of it to x-ray them and everything. I'll definitely be coming back!
Fantastic experience: DSS. I get regular check-ups, cleanings & xrays. I'm 50 this year & he said that I have great teeth & can see that I floss, too. My dad has great teeth & he rarely brushes, it seems. Thanks Mom for drinking alot of milk while carrying me & never being a smoker! Yay me!!!

Negative experience: Would not recommend! Second time I have gone there in a couple of years needing an emergency tooth extraction. Was told both times that I needed an expensive cleaning, and antibiotics for an infection that I didn’t have. Wanted to give me an appointment 2 weeks out, after me telling them I couldn’t even eat because the pain was too bad. Went to a more reputable dentist the next day and got the tooth pulled. Said no infection, and didn’t need any antibiotics. Will never go back to Familia again!!!!

Positive experience: Great friendly people, don't make you feel bad about whatever issues your having. Very informative and tell you what's best for you and what they can and can't do at time of service. I had an emergency situation and the only thing I would say is a con here, is the woman doing my X-rays was a little rude, was a little aggressive while putting and taking off the X-ray covers you have to where, hit me in the side that hurt twice without an regards. But other than that, they were excellent
Fantastic experience: I love that they took time with me today and explained what was really going on with my tooth and showed so much respect and patience with me and I was a walk-in. I did not have an appointment and they got me in. I just was very very pleased That they took the time for me and showed me the upmost respect and patience, even though they didn’t extract today or fix my tooth, I will be back in two weeks, but I just want to say how pleased I am and thank you
Positive experience: The dentist was super great. Staff was friendly, however I think they would do much better and get better reviews if they would update the place - it needs new carpet. I Would just hire a professional decorator to clean it up and make it a lot better presentation.
Negative experience: Cleaning lasted less than 10 minutes. Very rough cleaning. Mouthwash was not provided, no fluoride, no polish. My teeth are now hurting, salivating, and grinding. I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY OF THESE PROBLEMS BEFORE the “cleaning.”
