She is fantastic! Always so kind and patient. She is very gentle, yet thorough - the perfect combination for a hygienist!! I saw Dr. Dan after and as always he was so kind and patient and answered all my questions. I mentioned I was having trouble with my mouthguard and he told me to come in for an adjustment and he would find time in his schedule. Dr Dan is excellent at what he does! His approach and care are top notch!

Fantastic experience: My first time at Dental Arts of Westwood was almost 10 years ago, even though I didn’t speak English at the time they made me feel welcomed and took great care of me. I started working at Dental Arts a couple years ago and stayed for about 3 years, learned a lot from the all the team. I ended up moving and going to other offices but it was not the same, so I decided to go back to Dental Arts to get my cleanings/dental work done even though I live far away now. I am forever grateful for Dr Alana and Yessika for teaching me everything and taking great care of my husbands teeth, and forever grateful for Dr Ashley for taking great care of my teeth and being so kind. Great people doing great dentistry.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely Outstanding Emergency Dental Care! I can’t thank Dr. Dan and his team enough for their incredible service. I had a sudden dental emergency and they managed to take me in on just one hour’s notice, even though it was not my regular dental clinic. A true lifesaver for a person who had been struggling with severe tooth pain as well as appointments for 5 days. What amazed me most was how smoothly everything went. The wisdom tooth extraction was done in just a few minutes, completely pain free. I was honestly expecting a long, stressful experience, but the entire procedure was quick, professional, and surprisingly comfortable. The staff was kind, calm, and reassuring, and Dr. Dan's skill and confidence made all the difference. I’m beyond grateful and highly recommend them to anyone in need of emergency or routine dental care. Truly exceptional! Thanks a million.

Negative experience: They clean your teeth fine, but if you have some work to do with your home routine, they will make you feel bad about it. Edit: scoffing and walking away isn't feedback.

Fantastic experience: Always on time and professional . They are always concerned about your comfort and well being . Everything seems state of the art and extremely clean . All services performed with care. I especially love the tv’s and comfy chairs. Also , they are excellent at dealing with insurance. They navigate that seemlessly and they make sure the service that are supposed to be covered by insurance , actually are. How refreshing .

Negative experience: Incompetent. I spoke to them about 4 times before my appointment about the cost, not once did they mention they would need to take x-rays, which would be an additional ~$170. I get there (appointment was at 8 am) and they say they need to take them or I need the x-rays from my other dentist before my appointment. My other dentist office doesn’t open until 9 am. They had weeks to share this information with me but did not, I could’ve easily gotten them my other x-rays before my appointment.

Fantastic experience: They're all very friendly, but efficient. I see someone else said "he extracted two wisdom teeth with No Pain!" Well, he (Dr. Dan) extracted THREE of MY wisdom teeth with No Pain!! (Really! It hurt MUCH more at the HOSPITAL when they pulled a bandaid off my arm!!

I am so grateful I made the switch. NO more painful cleanings, and listen to this. NO MORE PAINFUL FILLINGS! I had 3 old leaking, cracked fillings replaced yesterday. I don't know what kind of magic Dr. Dan used but I didn't feel any pain at all! Nothing. Three fillings replaced, no pain. Take this as your sign to make the switch. I promise you will not be sorry. Fantastic experience: I am so thankful my friends recommended Doctor Dan! Truly one of the most knowledgeable, compassionate and current dentists out there! Usually I have Dr. Dan - however today I had another of his Dentists and he was equally as great! I chipped my front tooth, had a cavity and needed a cleaning - He fixed everything in a couple of hours! I am happy!!!! Oh and if you hate needles like I do - they make you super comfortable and they are so gentle!!!!

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency extraction at Dental Arts of Westwood and I have to say...that this was the best dental experience I’ve had in my life. I won’t tell you how old I am, but trust me when I say I’ve been here a while and have had a few other dentist. Almost ALL my previous dental visits have been horrendous, but not so with Dental Arts. My experience here was amazing, from my initial contact w/the front desk, all the way to the actual procedure with the Doctor. The care and concern that was shown for my comfort was wonderful, and I felt no judgment. I am so grateful that I’ve finally found a Dentist I’m not petrified to go see!!

Fantastic experience: This is a long review but might help other parents! I've been seeing Dr. Dan for years but we moved so I have been taking my kids to a dentist in our town, because it's closer. My 8 year old needed teeth pulled and completely panicked. The office we went to tried but she was scared she wouldn't let them anywhere near her and they referred her for sedation dentistry. That scared her too though so I talked to Dr. Dan's office, explained what was going on and they brought her in just to meet him and so he could explain to her what he'd need to do. She's my child who tried to run last time she got a shot and who needed 2 people to get her throat culture done, so truthfully I was expecting her to refuse to do anything. We started the appointment with Carlos who was PHENOMENAL with her. He spent so much time just talking to her, showing her step by step what would happen and going above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and like she was in control. Then Dr. Dan came in, talked her through everything too and made her feel so comfortable. Not only did she say she was OK with moving forward, she asked if they could take the teeth today, instead of coming back in a few days when she'd have some time to mentally prepare! They did and the appointment couldn't have gone better. When she started to get a little scared during the actual extraction, Carlos held her hand and they both talked her through, calming her down right away. I'm honestly blown away by how well they handled everything. I couldn't have asked for a better experience for her and on the ride home she said "Mommy, can he be my dentist all the time?" We will definitely be switching her over and I already made sure we scheduled our next appointment when Carlos will be working too.

The office itself is designed to put you at ease—there’s a TV playing Friends right in front of you, and even one on the ceiling when you lay back, which is such a thoughtful touch. The head dentist even took time to personally answer a few of my questions, which really showed their commitment to patient care. Every staff member was kind, outgoing, and gentle, making what could be a stressful experience feel completely comfortable. As we all know, teeth are such a sensitive area, and they handled everything with such care and professionalism. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience—I’m so glad I made the switch!

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough how much I love this place. As a senior citizen who is scared to death of needles, that is saying alot.. I've had cleaning, cavities filled, tooth/teeth pulled, oral surgeries and currently orthodontic care and they are the kindest, most gentle, tolerant (yeah.. I cried the entire time (5 minutes I think) they were pulling a tooth and caring dental team I have ever experienced. I have moved 70 miles away and still drive back every 3 months for my orthodontics. I told them I was only going to wear my invisaline every other Saturday because when my treatment is done ( not for a while yet) it will feel like we're breaking up. They truly are the best. I hate going to the dentist and had a huge fear of going due to bad experiences at other offices but the Dental Arts staff always makes sure I’m comfortable and have all the answers to my questions. I can’t recommend them enough! Plus there are TVs on the ceiling for some great distraction.

The appointment was 2 hours from start to finish, but seemed like it was less than an hour. In the meantime I watched a tv program on home building and listed to interesting conversation provided by Dr Dan. While the new crown was being fabricated there was a pause in the action and Dr Dan took care of a cavity that needed attention. Negative experience: Long time patient but Im now switching practices. Called for an appointment for a cleaning in December, was told that the earliest I could get in was either April or July. When I wrote and asked whether they were accepting too many patients since they were so overbooked, the dentist/owner was rude and dismissive. Had a good experience with my hygienist, as well as with the Invisalign team, but cant get over the smug way I was treated.

Negative experience: Do not recommend. Especially if you have children. Our dental hygienist was incredible and great with the girls. However, the dentist we saw had a terrible bed side manner and was extremely rude because my youngest had a few cavities. She told me I need to “watch what she is doing” and pushed fluoride. Will not be going back.

Positive experience: Used to be a big fan of this practice. They have lost a lot of dentists and the replacements are not up to par. The attitude has gone from patient-centric to arrogant from the front desk people to the dentists. I hope they get back on track. Feels like a factory.
