Fantastic experience: Great place. Friendly and happy atmosphere. Very nice and clean office. The tools they use are really modern. Everybody it’s friendly and professional. They explain everything they see during your visit, (it’s nice to know they will apply some cold air or a pinch) so you know what’s going on. Finance help you along with the process for you to understand. Great location. They are experienced and know they are doing. Very competitive prices and work with a lot of insurance companies. You can communicate via phone, email, text. It’s awesome. Glad to find you!

Positive experience: My spouse and I have been going to this dentist for over 3 years and we are writing to formally express our dissatisfaction with the recent experience we had, specifically regarding the handling of my dental insurance coverage and the lack of transparency that resulted in unexpected out-of-pocket expenses. Prior to my appointment, I informed the front desk of a change in my spouse and my insurance provider and reasonably assumed your office would confirm whether the new plan was in-network. At no point was I informed that the new insurance was considered out-of-network. Based on that omission, we proceeded with treatment (Preventative/Cleaning) under the impression that it would be covered, as we had been in the past. We were later shocked to discover that the services rendered were not covered under our plan, resulting in charges that we would not have agreed to had we been informed upfront. This lack of communication and failure to verify and disclose such a critical piece of information demonstrates negligence and a disregard for your patients’ financial well-being. After speaking with the dentist, they told us that it's our responsibility to find out if it's out of network and they are not responsible for telling us if it is out of network. Not to mention that the dentist website mentions that most insurance are accepted which included our insurance. Had we been properly informed, we would have postponed or declined treatment until we could confirm network status or seek care elsewhere. This experience has caused unnecessary financial strain and left me feeling misled by a practice we previously trusted. We are vastly disappointed about patient service they provided. UPDATE: We're grateful that the owner took the time to personally address and resolve the issue promptly and professionally. Their willingness to listen to our concerns and correct the billing mistake restored some of the trust we had in the practice. It was reassuring to see accountability and a genuine effort to make things right, which we truly appreciate.

I told Mellissa “I need the most meticulous, gentle and patient Dentist possible” She booked me Dr John Costello, He Listened to my nonsense for about 45 minutes and even laughed!! He is extremely talented and has amazing bedside manners. My Dental hygienist Ally Murphy is AMAZING! She puts on the TV & Offers you headphones lol She will go above and beyond to make sure you comfortable. She is extremely meticulous and highly knowledgeable in her field. Ally is the most gentle professional hygienist I have seen. I highly recommend this practice, It’s worth the drive from Boston!!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been working with the staff, Dr Costello, Dr Pastore, Dr Temwah for over two years. I underwent a crown that failed that started the ball rolling. I have been treated very well and fairly. Dr Costello went the extra mile to follow up something he saw on a scan. Dr Pastore tried on three occasions to remove a piece of metal from my jaw. He was persistent, and, I appreciate him. The tooth finally broke, hence, over to Dr. Temwah. He is a great clinician and MD. He makes it bearable. Thanks to Brianna, Alicia, Connie,, Darlene, who all worked on my situation.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Silva and the team at future dentistry in Wakefield are great! The front desk staff, the dental assistants, the hygienist and the Doctor all greet you with a calming welcoming smile. It's also conveniently right next to Greenwood MBTA commuter rail station. I have been happy enough with previous dentists but the future is here and it includes friendly customer service and detailed explanation of options and treatment with the aid of high resolution imaging.

Fantastic experience: Future of Dentistry is full of caring, knowledgeable people, from the friendly reception staff, to the hygienists, who take care to make sure you’re comfortable before they expertly clean your teeth, to the doctors, who are careful and thorough and who make sure you have as pain-free an experience as possible. They are the best, in my opinion! Update 06/25/24: I had my teeth scaled and cleaned today and I would write the same review as above. They are still as careful and thorough and my teeth feel great, plus no cavities! Second update January 21, 2025: I had my teeth, scaled and cleaned again today and the experience was quite comfortable. The new chairs vibrate, and have heat; there are sunglasses you can wear so that the light doesn’t bother you and I requested the numbing gel because my gums are sensitive and they accommodated me. I’ve never had a better experience with any other dentist.

Fantastic experience: I was asked today if I wanted to schedule my next cleaning with a specific hygienist. I don’t feel the need to choose one. They’re all excellent. I’ve been going to Future of Dentistry and Dr. Casazza for well over 10 years. I’ve had fillings replaced, cleanings, a mouth guard, an implant etc and it’s always a good experience (I mean, considering it’s the dentist). I highly recommend them. I had to bring her with me, and one of the lovely secretaries kindly offered to watch her while I had my appointment. Fantastic experience: They have really worked very sensitively to fit treatment to the needs of my elderly mother, who has memory loss. I appreciate both the kindness and gentleness of the hygienists and the pragmatism of the professional advice. Because my mother is not able to keep her teeth as clean as she used to, she is on a three times per year cleaning schedule, which has made a great difference. As long as her remaining teeth are able to serve her well enough, FOD weighs with me the value of a perfect mouth full of teeth against the stresses for an 87-year-old of taking corrective action. FOD also works with me to figure out how to maintain the most effective cleaning regimen within the context of my mother's assisted living facility.

Fantastic experience: The best decision I ever made was to go to future of dentistry- I have been suffering with dental pain for almost 2 years and I now have my smile back and I’m so very happy!! The Drs and everyone who works there listens to you and the best feeling is to be heard and know your not crazy.

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency tooth issue that was missed by another dentist. I called Future of Dentistry and Melissa was quick to get me in that day. Every other emergency place I called had a couple of day wait. Dr. Kim talked me through every step and discussed the steps to rectify the broken tooth. I completely stress out just being near a dentist office, Dr. Kim understood my fear and made sure I knew exactly what was going to happen. I am happy to find a new dentist. The practice has later hours which is helpful for me. I highly recommend Future of Dentistry in Wakefield, especially Dr. Kim.

After experiencing dentistry practices that upsell dental services in other states, Future of Dentistry has been a revelation and I am extremely happy with their quality of service and pragmatic approach prioritizing home intervention and follow ups over expensive dental procedures! Fantastic experience: I had an emergency in 2017 and was seen immediately. I have been a patient at FOD since. They have a super friendly staff and fit you in for emergencies. They also make sure that you are comfortable. I was there for an implant and they made sure I was not cold from the air conditioning. I have a very small mouth and having a female dentist has been wonderful. Women have smaller and more nimble fingers and that is perfect for me. I never had a female dentist until I came to FOD. I was also there recently and received bad news that I needed another implant. As we all know, maintaining your teeth is expensive! Their staff is very concerned about the finances and how best to help through the process.
