Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough about this company. I had begun to get dental care (finally) and was supposed to have financial help. The person who was helping me revoked their payment and changed their mind, and I was left with a big bill and still with the majority of the same dental issues (no back molars from chemo and soft tooth syndrome, multiple split teeth, posts for implants I couldn’t afford caps on, etc) I was so worried the credit I’m working so hard to build would be destroyed. My situation is really hard right now…I’m a single parent post two types of cancer, and post stroke. My daughter has grade four kidney disease. That’s my own problem, and most companies couldn’t care less about a persons personal situation, they just want their money. Not here, though. They’ve been so kind to me beginning to end and have gone above and beyond to help me figure out a payment plan I can afford, and hopefully smile again one day without covering my mouth. I want that so much for my kids to see and I’ve found a dentist that cares enough to help me get there. 10/10z

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing experience at SunDrop Dental! They do the highest quality of work, are respectful and treat you with care. They're punctual, as well as, get the work done extremely fast; but do it the right way. I highly recommend SunDrop Dental!

Negative experience: Went in last saturday for a filling, the filling didnt feel super strong and on top of that my gums were cut. Long story short filling only lasted 5 days. I didnt even chew with it. I called to inform them of what happened and they told me they would fix the mistake the next morning no charge. When i arrive the next morning i am told that they will not do it for free and that it would be 200 dollars to fix after driving an hour and a half there and missing work for the appointment. I mean at the very least id expect more help then 200 dollars out of pocket or a simple phone call before i lose hours at work and waste 3 hours round trip for them to try and charge me for their mistake. Mind you it is THEIR mistake that they want to charge me more to fix. I understand dentists are billed seperate for labor but it all falls under the same company. Honestly do not reccomend.

Fantastic experience: The staff was fantastic. I felt they weren’t trying to add on unnecessary procedures and the pricing was transparent. I’ve been to many dental clinics in Salt Lake and so far it’s the best experience I’ve had.

Negative experience: Made an appointment to get some fillings Done and the lady put me in for a free consultation for veneers. Didn't want veneers wanted my feelings done I don't have insurance, I pay out a pocket, and all they wanted to do is sell me stuff today. So I wasted all my gas, time and money to come get my fillings Done Instead, they refused to do that and wanted to sell me a whole Insurance plan through them. Also Last time I went my appointment was for a chipped tooth to be filled. (Preventative care) They denied it because I wouldn't buy a $600 mouthguard, all they want to do is swindle and bargain for you to buy extra stuff and not perform what your appointment is scheduled for. they don't care about the patient and predictive care. They only care about MONEY!! I'm an existing patient They want me to have a $60 consultation every time before a procedure then reschedule for that procedure to be done. It's not right!!! I drive 30 minutes to come here. Take time off of work and I still can't get my teeth filled. I'm done with the games and being denied basic dental procedures. I WILL NOT BE BACK.

Fantastic experience: Everyone here was really professional, friendly, and accommodating. It was a long wait since they only had one dentist in on Saturday, but Rachel and Carolyn did a great job making all of the procedures and financing options clear to us. My fiance has a pretty serious fear of going to the dentist and this was far and away the best experience he's ever had. Plus the implant special was a good discount on everything.

Negative experience: Please take time to read the recent reviews—many of us have had similar experiences. I visited this office in September and October 2024, and before agreeing to services, I was clearly told what my insurance would cover and what I would owe. Based on that, I proceeded with services. Eight months later, I was blindsided by a bill for nearly $700. When I contacted them, they admitted to multiple billing errors (mis-posting payments and incorrectly billing insurance). Despite acknowledging their own mistakes, I was still held responsible for the full amount. What’s worse, the amount they claimed I owed kept changing, and the entire process dragged on for a couple months. But the most disturbing part? They offered me a payment plan to pay them the money I suddenly owed, or they would give me a modest discount if I paid in full. At this point, I was dealing with their incompetence for a couple months and wanted to wash my hands from them and asked to pay up front. I was about to give them my CC info when they suddenly RESCINDED that offer and said they would only honor that offer if I signed a statement that I would not give them a bad review. It is in complete bad faith to tell me I could get a slight discount for an upfront discount, and then when I agree, make it contingent on a promise not to leave a bad review. Until that moment, I hadn't even considered writing one. That level of coercion and lack of accountability is simply unacceptable. You have many options for dental care in town. Do not take the risk of being misled about your costs, chased down months later, and pressured into silence. Learn from my experience; this kind of egregious incompetence and unethical behavior should not be rewarded. I'll be submitting a formal complaint next. Thank God I have the paper trail that has documented their abuse.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to this place for years and they are the best! Super nice staff, very communicative and kind. They also have a very reasonably priced plan for visits if your insurance doesn’t cover dental

Negative experience: Awful experience….sone cutrate brand was used….paid a total $10,000 ($7,000 was the quote for all cash up front.). Then more $….. every visit I was shelling out more. They overcharged me so I had a $200 credit but they stole that flat out from me. Sean olsen

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend this place enough! These guys really care about their patients. I’m so glad I chose salt lake dental to help with my needs. I haven’t been to a dentist in years and these guys saved my mouth! I feel like a million bucks. Thank you Dr. Carter and Caroyn they are literal angels.

Negative experience: The dentist put a new crown, I when back to polish the glue around, and still have the glue around the crown. Is a nice clean office but over price.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Nate and team were absolutely fabulous! I didn't have dental insurance and had a dental emergency--they were able to see me promptly and I was well taken care of. I'm a patient now--great service and a happy outcome to become a general patient after a dental emergency.

Negative experience: The worst experience from a dental visit. A simple cleaning from Zoro that had my neck and the back of my head completely wet from all the water running down my face. Before giving me the fluoride treatment I asked if it was covered under the insurance and they said Yes it was. After the appointment I was given a bill for it because it was not covered. I called and spoke with Spiffany. I told her that the same thing happened on my last visit and I didn't fell I should have to pay it, she then became very condescending in the way she spoke with me. I was going to go back for a $4,000 implant visit, however I will find a better place to go from now on.

Fantastic experience: Just finished my Invisalign treatment here, the staff is incredibly respectful, helpful and honest. Tinka helped me a lot through my treatment and I’m very grateful how welcomed she made the experience! Fantastic experience: Just got my all on 6 implant retained bridge! I feel like a new person. My smile and the process was amazing! The staff was excellent and Dr Carter and Rachel were the best we went to other places and we chose here, and I’m glad I did! I just went back to Salk Lake Dental for a checkup and cleaning of my all on 6 implants. It’s been almost a year since I started the process, my life has changed dramatically. My health and confidence is so much better than before. I have had NO issues with the implants, only compliments and better health. It was so good to see Dr. Carter, Rachael and all the staff at Salt Lake Dental….you’re ROCK STARS!!!!!

Negative experience: I have had mixed interactions with this dentist. The wait times are not too long and the hygienists/dentists are friendly and knowledgeable. However, both my boyfriend and I have struggled with their billing. We have double checked in advance if we would be covered for certain care and then we'd get an unexpected statement or bill. It also has taken them weeks to cash a check that was mailed in. Their billing overall makes me very uneasy. I also got a weird vibe from my most recent visit. The area behind the receptionist desk seemed too unprofessional. Patients are right in that area-they don't go anywhere for an hour+. So I was stuck there listening to gossip about parties, people's girlfriend's and loud singing to a non inclusive music station (they must have been streaming a playlist instead of just playing the radio cause they kept playing the same artist) I don't know if it crossed a line or anything, but it just came off as unprofessional and made me not want to come back as a patient.

Fantastic experience: i had a great experience, the only thing i would recommend as a client is to be prepared to be there a little longer than expected. i think quality work takes time and they just seem to take a little bit longer! Fantastic experience: Very professional and very gentle staff. I had an implant done and it absolutely exceeded my expectations! I highly recommend Salt Lake Dental to anyone looking to get a dental implants of any kind

Negative experience: I had a crown put in. Less than I few months it fell off. They put it back on, still bothering me said just need to give it time to heal. Got so bad I went to a new provider only to find out the crown was never sealed and I need a root canal because it has decay under the crown.

Fantastic experience: I’m so happy that I said”yes” to Salt Lake Dental. It is absolutely, hands down, the best place to go for Dental Implants!! They use the most up to date, cutting edge technology making the procedures fast and virtually painless!! Dr. Carter and his staff have a positive “can do” attitude and approach to my dental needs. When others said “no”, Salt Lake Dental said “yes!”

Fantastic experience: I'm really happy with the quality of care that is offered at Salt Lake Dental. Firstly they take photos of your teeth so that you can see what the dentist is describing which is very helpful. Secondly the pricing seems competitive, that is to say their prices are very reasonable for the quality of care that is provided.

Fantastic experience: I came in here for a checkup a few months ago, and then I recently came in for extraction of my upper wisdom teeth and a supernumerary tooth. The entire process has been very smooth, from getting an appointment to the end of it. The people at Salt Lake Dental have been very nice and professional, and the visits I've had there have been very good. My dental extractions were painless, and the process was very quick. I was well informed regarding continued care, and I feel in good hands with them. Definitely recommend.

Negative experience: Below is a post I made a couple years back. I became insured by Medicare at which they told me they dont take Medicare or Medicaid and i was dropped as a patient then and there after being a great paying patient for a couple of years. I find not accepting Medicare or Medicaid disgusting as its the insurance most of us use as we age. Hope they enjoy all there money! I do not recommend them to anyone. My old review: "First time patient at Salt Lake Dental this morning. While I dont particularly like going to the dentist that's my issue and SLDental! Staff are kind, gracious and professional I especially liked the front desk who moved things along very well. The assistant was funny and personable. Dr Carter was eager to solve my problems. Negative experience: I just received a $200 bill instead of 40$! I’ve been coming here for years, and I always double-check before my appointment to ensure they accept my insurance. Back in March, they stopped taking my insurance, but when I asked if I was still in-network, they confirmed I was. They never notified me that my dentist no longer accepts my insurance!!!! THEY WILL CHANGE COVERAGE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE YEAR!! BE CAREFUL!!! UPDATE They called me about this review and apologized for my experience. They offered to waive the remaining charges if I paid $40. However, I had already asked for a resolution before posting the review, and they refused, only suggesting a payment plan. They also claimed my insurance policy had changed, which was untrue. Despite this, they wouldn’t take my full responsibility. I won’t be returning.

Positive experience: I recently got my wisdom teeth removed and the procedure went smoothly. My only qualms were that I was not given much of anything after my procedure. No gauze, a squeeze ice pack, 4-6 over the counter pain medications, and then paper instructions/Rx for a prescription if I needed a strong pain medication. It felt as if they finished my procedure and then handed me over to my post-op caretaker without much in the way of recovery items.

Fantastic experience: These guys were so amazing. My daigjter had a tooth that needed to be pulled and usually its a nightmare taking her in but not this time. I wish i would have gotten the name of the girl who assissted the dentist because she was the most incredible person. She made my daughter feel so comfortable and was just a sweetheart. Anyways, the dentist was also increible quick and as painless as going to the dentist can be. We went here on a saturday for an emergency since my daughters normal dentist was closed and now we will be going here exclusively. Thank you guys for going the extra mile to make my girl comfortable, as a mom it was everything to me.

Positive experience: They always are there to assist. I just wish they took my insurance and still gave face massages like they had when I started with them even if it was 5 min. I have enjoyed going year after year. Been with 10 years now they have massage chairs.

Negative experience: Was forced into making an appointment before I could confirm my calendar. Dentist was a little condescending about it. After reading some reviews about bad fillings, I’ll be going elsewhere. The girl who cleaned my teeth was nice, so added a star for that.

Fantastic experience: Always a great experience. Friendly staff and the dentist is spectacular at making me feel like I matter to them ❤️ I was given the option to come in a week earlier which I really appreciated and another text saying their 10am this morning canceled. Very good communication and feels like theyre my friends. Everyone has always been professional and extremely efficient. Only thing I'll say is arrive 10 to 20 min earlier. Developers in the area opened a Trader Joe's and it wasnt zoned very well in terms of parking, so those customers are stealing the parking on Saturdays. I cant recommend a better place. And the Saturday dental appointments have saved me a LOT of PTO. THANK YOU FOR FINDING THIS WEEKEND APPOINTMENT NICHE!!

Negative experience: Salt Lake Dental has unfortunately declined in quality. I've been a patient of Dr. Carter for years, but the front desk staff and their appointment system have deteriorated, though I'm not entirely sure why. I keep receiving sporadic messages claiming I've missed appointments, and I hope I'm not being billed incorrectly. Despite spending a lot on Invisalign, when I tried to order a retainer, the staff wouldn't return my calls, and when they did, they always seemed confused.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Nate is amazing. The office runs your insurance while you are completing the appointment and by the time you leave you know exactly what the charge will be and a game plan if you need cavities filled ect. He genuinely wants people to have a positive experience at the dentist. He takes the time to explain what is happening and is really encouraging when it comes to the not fun parts of dental procedures. I also have several almost cavities that previous dental groups have told me that I must get filled. Dr. Nate say he only fills cavities if they are not reversible by flossing though. I love how cautious he is and I cannot recommend him enough.

Positive experience: Unfortunately I went from a great first visit to liking Salt Lake Dental less and less over time. My first visit went well; one of my teeth was a little lopsided (I ground it down) and the dentist fixed it for me for free! It was amazing! For that reason, I kept coming back and have been going here every 6 months for about 3 years now. But each additional time has been a bit frustrating. First, I'm pretty sure they hire fresh dental hygienist grads. This wouldn't be so bad except: often times it hurts when they clean my teeth, I've choked on my own spit/the water they spray in multiple times, and I have never, ever had the same dental hygienist twice. I also see 3 people on average when I come here. A dental hygienist, dentist, and one other person whose job I'm not even sure of. I'm constantly sitting in the chair waiting for some different person to come in and do a different step. At past dentists, it's only ever been 1 hygienist and 1 dentist. At my old dentist (in a different state), I used to have a hygienist I would specifically request since they're such a big part of the experience! I can't do that here for above reasons. Finally, I needed to reschedule my latest appointment and they've now implemented an AI assistant on the phone. The PHONE. The phone is supposed to be the 1 place you can use to get an actual human. Anyway, the AI asked me what date would work. I suggested 3 dates, all of which it said were unavailable. Finally I just said I would take whatever their next available appointment is and the AI said, "Sorry, we have no appointments available." Are you serious? You made me spend 10 minutes talking to you just to say nothing is available? AND there was no option of talking to a human. I had to leave a message with the AI asking to reschedule. For all these reasons, I'm going to look elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Salt Lake Dental has provided a phenomenal experience! Everyone has been kind, gentle, and descriptive when explaining things. As someone who’s admittedly nervous going to the dentist, I can say I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Positive experience: It felt a little like going to a car dealership. The dentist was interested in improving my smile and went to great lengths to make sure I knew all of my options. After mulling it over for a few days, I've decided to get conventional dental work done. The high price tag deterred me from deciding on the more extensive plans.

Fantastic experience: Beyond impressed with this place!! I had a cavity filling crack and was in a lot of pain. They were able to fit me in the same day I called & even stayed later to make sure I was taken care of and out of pain. Staff was friendly and very helpful!

Fantastic experience: I love salt lake dental. Dr. Carter and his staff have been so friendly and helpful. Rachel is the absolute best and makes each visit enjoyable and is so knowledgeable. If you’re looking for a regular dental exam they are amazing, I brought my 3 yo in and they did such a great job helping him to feel comfortable and making it fun. If you’re looking for cosmetic dentistry this is the place. They have all the newest technology and the most skilled staff. Salt lake dental has changed my life forever and I will forever be grateful for them.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly dentist office went and got my tooth pulled did an excellent Job came back to get my stitches out and did an awesome Job healing and they definitely give ur money worth of stuff when leaving like pain medication and mouth wash and they give away free toothbrushes! Dustin was awesome talked about how I was doing and his life as well and made the whole experience more comfortable. Definitely recommend this dentist office.

Fantastic experience: They got me in for a last minute appointment that needed a root canal before a vacation. They made sure I was comfortable for my trip and got me back in to finish as soon as I got back. Dr. Nate and Dustin were fantastic. Fantastic experience: Dr. Carter and Rachel, plus staff are just amazing! I needed 2 implants done and a bridge set on the implants. I have always had fear of dentistry and have had really bad experiences with other dentists. I have no fear of seeing Dr. Carter. He has been gentle and explained the whole process in a way that was understandable to me. I will not go to any other dentist. Thanks again Dr. Carter for all you do!

Fantastic experience: What an amazing place! I’m from out of town attending a conference. My temporary crown fell out. They squeezed me in and took excellent care of me. Everyone was so kind and friendly. Dr. Nate was the best! I am incredibly grateful to have found Salt Lake Dental. If I lived here, they would definitely be my dental practice. If they are so kind to a stranger who they know they will never see again, I can only imagine what it must be like to be a patient.

Negative experience: Had a decent experience for several years, but their lack of transparency around billing/insurance, procedures, and maintenance timelines has come to a head for me. Recently, after asking for clarification on several separate occasions, their office finally disclosed that the maintenance treatments they had me on (with a co-pay and higher cost for my insurance) had no identifiable end date and that I could never return to a normal cleaning at any point. This was not clearly communicated until after the procedure was done and they put me in this maintenance category. It made me feel like they were running a racket rather than a dentistry practice. While their office attempted to communicate more fully after the fact, it still wasn't very helpful and I've found that they're not effective communicators (especially ahead of time, when clear communication and establishing expectations are most important). I'll be shopping around for a new dentist.

Fantastic experience: being going to Dr.Carter's for 8 years now, love their Professional environment and love that they always answer my question. I have always hated the dentist's, but now I feel comfortable going in. They treat my family likes their own, they have always work with my insurance and have me take advantage of it. I will always be going in to Dr. carter's

Positive experience: I got what I needed fixed. Clean building, friendly staff. Reasoning for 3 stars is I was not a fan of having to pay to get scheduled and keep my appointment. Within my last visit there was a miscommunication on payment. I attempted to have them bill me as I did not have the funds at the time and my parent was going to call in and pay over the phone with their insurance card. When I stated this I was met with “Can you at least put $30 down? We would hate to have to turn you away for future appointments.” I then asked doesn’t the $60 I paid go towards the visit. They responded “yes, again, we would just appreciate if you put something down” I paid an additional $30 and was told what my total would be. After I got the work done, I was directed towards the front desk and was then told a completely different price that my parent now owed. This is my reasoning for 3 stars. Other than that, I got what I needed to be fixed and the main dentist is very kind and detailed.

Fantastic experience: This team is the best, period; they don’t give you bad vibes about your history of oral care, either. They tell you how it is and what you must do, preparing you for the future. Very personable, and the work that’s been done is superb and worth every penny. Most importantly, they make appointments on Saturdays. I love every employee I've met; they are confident and take care of me even when they have other things going on. I had a deep cleaning, and the implant is still in progress; I am planning on one more implant, crowns, and the rest of any oral work I need in the future.

Fantastic experience: Chipped a big part of my front tooth, Dr Carter gave me a lot of reassurance when I arrived that my tooth was going to look good as new again. He took his time and did just that!! Really appreciate his care and effort of making my tooth look great again and was even able to fix it on a Saturday!!! Thanks again!

Fantastic experience: I can not begin to say how thankful I am for Dr. Carter, Rachel and Ming. Losing my teeth and making the tough choice to get full implant supported dentures was not an easy one. Positive experience: You know how you'll do whatever it takes to make unbearable pain stop? That's basically what happened to me here. I paid $550 for 2 days of pain relief. Now I'm going back to my original dentist (this was a weekend situation) to finally get relief again. Only giving 3 stars because the office is top notch and the staff were awesome. If they took my insurance, I'd probably be a regular patient.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Nate and Amani helped me today on an emergency bases. I called for a broken tooth and they got me in the same day and was able to pull my tooth they didnt make me wait and come back and all that agony. I truly appreciate their kindness and professio alism. I was very scared and in a lot of pain and they handled everything with great care and compassion. Thank you kindly!

I want my 60.00 back for being turned out after I showed up a half hour early I will make sure all I know will never go to this establishment. So your aware. Again this is not my fault . I hope you are refunding my money. Otherwise I think you guys have a great way to make money. Ripping people off

Fantastic experience: I love this place! I recently had a sharp pain every time I took a sip of water. I was able to get a same day appointment on a Saturday, even though I wasn’t an established patient. They quickly realized I needed my wisdom teeth removed. They provided me with a mouthwash and toothpaste that helped me feel better until I can get it pulled the next Friday. I ended up getting all 4 pulled and it was a very easy process. I have since been back for a cleaning. This is the best Dental office. They have TVs in the ceiling so you can watch while they work. They are gentle and explain everything. The lobby is very clean as well.

Fantastic experience: The nurse was fantastic. Really helped me through two teeth removals. The dr. Was pretty effective and quick. I’m very grateful for them both. Front desk service was excellent and very helpful

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love Dr Carter -Rachel & Ming were so amazing!! You guys, Dr Carter is an angel-he really took care of me!!! Also wanted to add in that Sierra was such a doll -she assisted with my initial consultation-and made things so smoothly! My dentist is extraordinary-he listened to my needs and totally took such great care of me!! Thank you is NOT enough! God is good!

Negative experience: Had great experiences here until my last appointment, that I had confirmed weeks prior. Upon arriving, my appointment had been cancelled due to them not seeing I had responded, and I was asked to reschedule. Won’t be returning.

Negative experience: My husband received a bill for a dentist appointment they said he missed. He never scheduled the appointment, never confirmed it, and was not notified it was coming up. When he called to ask them they said pay it or we'll just send you to collections. They don't seem to care about their patients and the whole situation was very upsetting to have to pay $60 for this unknown appointment. He will never go back, they treated him very poorly.

Fantastic experience: The staff at Salt Lake Dental is exceptional! They are kind and professional, very qualified. I've come back a few times and every time I leave satisfied with the results. Totally recommend them!

Fantastic experience: No reason to dread this Dentist! I had a dental emergency… they didn’t try to hustle me for thousands of dollars of extra work… they were honest and straightforward… the hygienist was the nicest ever and the Dentist was super chill. They did just 1 X Ray instead of insisting on many and they just fixed my problem period. Every other dentist I’ve ever gone to would have found a way to get that bill to at least $500-700 or charged a premium because it was Saturday. I was out the door for $160 for a dental emergency on a Saturday. I will be back!

Fantastic experience: The staff is super friendly, and professional. Going to the dentist gives me major amounts of anxiety and every time I have been here they have been kind, caring and have answered any questions/concerns that I may have. The dental hygienists are super kind, gentle and do amazing work. As someone who is scared of dentists, I can honestly say that I feel confident with the work they do and cared for by the staff.

Fantastic experience: The clinic is a life saver! They were able to get me in the chair walk in, once I arrived they were very welcoming, explained everything in details and made me feel confident about what is going on. THANK YOU VERY MUCH! I wish I can come back to this dentist office soon.

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Carter and Rachel. I had a really bad experience that lead to a bad infection and health issues. Immediately they took care of me. Dr. Carter has the lightest touch. Didn’t beat around the bush and didn’t waste my time or money. He knows exactly what he is doing. Rachel is an absolute angel and really knows how to talk to patients. She is incredibly smart, and educated. Talked to me through the entire procedure which I really appreciated. She is warm and so kind. I have had more bad and painful experiences when it comes to dental practices. Those practices could learn a lot from Dr. Carter and his staff. Thank you for everything!

Fantastic experience: Every time i have visited salt lake dental they have showed nothing short of absolute professionalism. I am a return patient. Never had problems and am comfortable with future visits. Intake staff is very welcoming and they always explain everything in full detail. Highly recomended for everyone.

Fantastic experience: Went in for a wisdom teeth consultation which was free! Everyone was extremely helpful and nice. They went over my xrays and explained a lot of things to me so I felt a lot more comfortable about the procedure. Thanks Salt Lake Dental!

Positive experience: Salt Lake Dental is open on Saturdays, which is super helpful when you have sudden tooth pain. I went in to check on my pain and Dr Carter suggested a tooth implant. I wanted to check with my insurance, since they do not accept it at Salt Lake Dental, but I felt a lot of pressure to make an appointment that day and get scheduled. To schedule the appointment I needed to pay $900 up front to reserve the anesthesiologist (plus $125 to reserve the booking with Salt Lake Dental). I agreed and the next Monday found an in network dentist to get me in. I called Salt Lake Dental that day and cancelled my appointment. It has now been about 3 weeks and I still haven't been issued a refund for cancelling the appointment. The receptionist has been very nice when I call, but she said that only one person can issue refunds and I guess that one person has been out of the office for 3 weeks. I'm really disappointed with myself that I gave into the pressure and booked this appointment, but I was in a lot of pain. I'll happily update my review when I get a refund, but I wish there had been less pressure to book the appointment, that the communication was better about refunds at the time of booking (I asked the person who took payment if it was refundable, if she had advised that refunds can take weeks I wouldn't have booked that day), and that their refund process didn't seem so archaic and slow. I also used to be a regular here with Dr Godfrey, I don't think Dr Carter is as patient as Dr Godfrey was. If you have dental anxiety, it might be better to go somewhere less hectic and find a dentist who can be a bit more patient. Edit 12/06/23: I did say I'd add an edit when I got my refund, and I got it today.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Nate and Dustin were amazing with my daughter. They got her in on short notice on a Saturday as a new patient and were able to give her a root canal right away. They made her feel comfortable and managed to make the entire experience pleasant!

Fantastic experience: I appreciated the friendly staff. Everyone I interacted with was very friendly and efficient. Brooke was so kind explaining everything she did and every tool she utilized. She was very gentle and caring. I'm happy I found this place. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Update: I will no longer go there. They have become all about the upsell. I had a crown done. I had to go back 3 times to get it adjusted correctly. Dr Carter used to be super gentle, really friendly and I liked his staff. Now they are all too busy to show true care. Dr. Carter no longer has the time to be hands on and thorough.

Fantastic experience: Such an amazing place, all the staff were friendly and helpful. I came in for a tooth pull and I was in and out within an hour. The dentist Nathan who did my extraction was very professional, and his assistant was amazing aswell. I will be coming to this location to get all my teeth work done.

Fantastic experience: My kids and I have been coming here for maybe 2 years now. We have had such a great experience with Salt Lake Dental. The doctors and staff here are great and friendly. When there is an issue they listen and educate you throughout the process. I have even recommend this dental office to friends.

Negative experience: The hygienists and dentist are good. However front desk is a nightmare to work with. Called three times and emailed asking for my referral and x-rays. When at my appointment I needed my referral their office called and requested the referral and they still would not send over the information causing a huge delay and issues. Would not recommend using this office because of their lack of communication and refusal to help is awful. Update they actually never sent it over. So unprofessional and would never recommend anyone go here.

Fantastic experience: I'm happy to have found this Dental Clinic. The interaction with the professional staff was smooth and easy, they were very knowledgeable on what they do. I was impressed be the modern technology used for the XRays and the easy way the technician handle it. The Hygienist did a deep cleaning on my mouth without any discomfort for me. Meeting Dr. Bradley Carter as a new client was important part of that visit. He cleared out all my concerns, which allowed me to feel better.
