Fantastic experience: I’ve been going here for about two years and as someone who is terrified of going to the dentist, I will likely never go anywhere else! The staff, nurses and doctors, including doctor Kingsley especially, are so kind and warm, on top of being amazing at what they do! I cannot praise everyone at this location enough, especially since I have had to have extensive work done here and they are so calming every single time I go here.

Fantastic experience: City Place Dental is the first professional office I would call my home and Dr. Kingsley would be the father of my home. This doctor truly deeply cares for his patients and he never wants us to feel alone in our most vulnerable moments during our dental visits. We come in scared, in pain, terrified and in my case alone...But he has been the support I have been looking for. Dr. Kingsley is the most gentle, keen, precise and accurate being that can ever come close to your teeth. I can safely say that I trust him with my whole life; I would not know what to do if he didn't come to my rescue during my root canal and filling procedures and the ups and downs that come with recovery. The nurses console you and make every single procedure crystal clear for you so you feel sure. They take handling your care personally so you never feel left hanging or let down. The front desk does their best to respect your schedule and even squeeze you in on their busiest days for your urgent cases empathizing with your pain. City Place Dental will go out of their way to check up on your health, answer any question you can ponder, gives you the safest space to make your own decisions and state your opinions, and reassure you whenever you can get overwhelmed by the process. Fantastic experience: Normally don’t write reviews, but I started my dental fixing experience with City Place dental about a month ago. They referred me to another facility to get my wisdom teeth taken out, which was also a great process. Super smooth surgery & went extremely well. Then I made an appointment at City Place Dental for a cleaning after my wisdom teeth was taken out and the experience at City Place Dental has by far exceeded my expectations. Everyone from the front desk staff to the dentist/staff in the back were absolutely exceptional and knowledgeable. I was nervous about having my first cleaning in a couple years and was a bit embarrassed by it, but the staff did not make me feel uncomfortable. Instead, they informed me on how to keep up with my dental health/Hygiene and made me excited for my journey towards better teeth! I look forward to my deep cleaning next! Thank y’all.

This was my second appointment at City Place Dental and let me tell you....Christine, is VERY skilled in what she does, not only is she extremely thorough but she's truly been blessed with the hands of gentleness! Fantastic experience: It's obvious why they've been in business for 30+ years! They run a well oiled operation. Dr. Achikeh is super friendly and attentive. He explains what he's doing and why. I was amazed that he called me days later to check-up and see how I was doing and he remembered our conversation about my travel plans. Smart, personable (business) man. This is the level of attention I appreciate from my doctors office. UPDATE: SuSu (Dental Hygienist) is a cleaning wizard! I cannot believe how well she cleaned the hell out of my teeth! I mean it looked like I got them whitened. It was such a nice welcome to have a hygienist give me a proper oral exam before proceeding to clean my teeth. Proper attention to detail was paid, she even spotted some concerns and gave recommendations and brought them to the dentist for consultation with me afterwards. She went to town on my mouth! I was thoroughly satisfied with her skills and service. Good service deserves praise and acknowledgment. She's a keeper. It was worth the 20 minute wait!

Negative experience: I would never come on here and write a negative review unless I thought it absolutely necessary. I came to this dental office at the start of summer for a very much needed check up. I hadn’t been to the dentist in over 10 years which is my fault and I understand that. After determining what my treatment would be I agreed and proceeded to schedule visit after visit after visit with this clinic for numerous amounts of fillings. Dr. Achikeh was responsible for my treatment and it’s important to note how fast he got my fillings done. Like strangely fast but I never questioned it. One Friday I went in for a filling, got it done and left on a trip that same day. The day after my tooth started aching. I put up with the pain until I got back in hopes that Dr. Achikeh could see me in a reasonable time but I wasn’t able to schedule something that was convenient for me considering the pain was getting worse so I decided to go somewhere else. Upon visiting the other dentist, I found out my procedure was botched and the filling was rubbing against the nerve. Ended up having to get a root canal and crown which was very expensive. Then when X-Rays were taken I was able to see the real horrors which were that majority of my fillings were botched. One of them even had decay underneath and had I not visited another dentist I would’ve had to get yet another root canal later on! Do with that information what you will but this office has not only disappointed me but also nearly ruined my teeth in the process lol we’ll see the effects this has on me when I’m 60!

Fantastic experience: I've been going to City Place Dental since 1995 and the reason I've remained so loyal is due to the professionalism of the ENTIRE staff. Everyone is really nice especially Roxanne who has been there since I started going. Kingsley Achikeh is the best!! He's so sweet, funny, caring and he takes the time to get to know you personally. I mean, after 25 years he knows me and my family pretty well. I've raved about this dental office so much that I have family, friends and coworkers going there. They all say the same thing, they love it just as much as I do. The office is beautiful, clean, metro accessible and there's plenty of metered street parking. I live about 45 minutes away but it's definitely worth the drive.

Negative experience: Do not go to this place! I went for an emergency - an infection of my flesh close to a wisdom tooth on the weekend. Turned out he actually didn’t do any needed cleaning of the area, and he only put some kind of liquid on it which made it better/numbed it very temporarily. The next day, I had to go into emergency care with much more infection and pain and this time also a jar that I couldn’t open anymore due to it not having been cleaned on time. I could have saved me many hours of pain and an infection from getting much worse had I just not gone to this dentist who seems like to be more concerned about a quick and easy temporary fix then actual dentist work.

Fantastic experience: City Place Dental is the best! They really care about their patients. They were able to squeeze me in at the last minute on a Saturday, since I was in pain. A short while later, I was in the dentist's chair being taken care of. You can't beat that!

Fantastic experience: Let me start by saying I have had roughly 8 root canals in my lifetime. I say "roughly" because I honestly stopped counting. The dentist has always been an experience that brings about anxiety and pain! Dr. Achikeh makes my least favorite place to go, bareable. He is kind, empathetic and caring. He knows I hate needles and doesn't make me feel bad because of it. He is patient and comforting, something that is valued and appreciated by me! I have gone to many dentists prior to Dr. Achikeh and he surpasses them BY FAR!! Roxanne is also a jewel! I highly recommend this place, especially if you require a level of care and attention that quite frankly, most dentists aren't willing to give. City Place Dental is my spot!
