Negative experience: I had to wait 55 minutes for my appointment! Dr Choi and the receptionist were nice and apologetic.

Fantastic experience: I wasn’t even a patient yet, but Dr. Choi and the team at McDonogh Dental went out of their way to accommodate my last-minute request on a Friday afternoon. From the moment I walked in, through the treatment, and all the way to checkout, they were compassionate, attentive, and highly skilled. I’m so impressed with the level of care I received and would strongly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: I rarely provide reviews, but I’d be remiss not let everyone know about the exceptional service I received from McDonough Dental, specifically Dr. Choi. I broke one of my molars and McDonough was able to repair it within a few hours of my call. With a quarter of my tooth missing, Dr Choi was able to temporarily make my tooth feel and operate like nothing happened. A few days later she prepped the tooth for a crown and installed a temporary crown. Her bedside manner was one of the best I have ever experienced from a doctor. The temporary crown fits like a glove and she was extra conservative with preserving as much of the tooth as possible. This is my first crown and I didn’t know what to expect. I would be happy not to ever get another, but if I do, it will certainly be done by Dr. Choi.

Positive experience: Great practice. Very friendly staff and providers. Front office will do their best to work with you and your needs. Their dentists are extremely professional and knowledgeable. They also help each other when something is needed such as additional opinions. Only downside is they’re usually busy. However, they will schedule you asap for immediate needs. That being said. I had one issue once with a DH who did my cleaning. This was during my first or second visit. I have a lot of issues with my teeth and I can be very self-conscious. This hygienist made a comment, saying, “wow, what happened?” When she first looked in my mouth. It was also the way she said it. I got upset over this but didn’t say anything. Other than this, I never had any issues with them.

Fantastic experience: August 11, 2025 McDonough Dental is and has been professional always with my care. The staff provide personal care & attention. The hygienist Kathleen is exceptional and experienced. Dr. Tosky continues to be Spot On with patients care.

Positive experience: The hygienist I had this time perhaps was having a bad day. Usually I will remember the hygienist name but I don’t remember hers. There is just something not right with this facility this time. I sensed it and it almost ruined my day. I usually will get a package of a brush, tooth paste and floss, but this time it wasn’t offered. I had to ask the front desk for it. I will usually get an appointment for my next visit but, this time I was told that they did not for any Saturday openings even within 8 months. I think that will be my last visit. I

Fantastic experience: Today the experience was excellent, very cherish greeting when I arrived and was seen within 5 minutes is arrival. Surprised to have a dentist I want familiar with do my cleaning or dental hygiene. She was very cordial. This appt was about 1/2 hour ... I'm accustomed to cleaning taking 45 minutes to an hour. Assume or hope that that the procedure was still through, just efficient?

Fantastic experience: This office was a new dentist for me after having gone to the best dentist for 50 years. So obviously, I was quite apprehensive about going to someone new.I was very pleasantly surprised with Mcdonogh Dental and Dr. Tosky. The entire staff were friendly and efficient and I am happy to continue there.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been seeing Dr. Stein for almost a year now, and I can’t recommend her enough. She helped me identify and resolve a long-standing tooth issue by referring me to the right specialist and guiding me through the process. She also treats my TMJ every few months, and I’ve seen real improvement. Wiesia, her dental assistant is also great. She has a wonderful bedside manner, and it always feels like I am catching up with an old friend when I see her. They work really well together and make every visit smooth and comfortable. It’s clear they care deeply about their patients. The front desk staff are also incredibly kind and accommodating—always helpful when it comes to scheduling and check-ins. It’s been tough finding a dental practice that’s not only professional but also genuinely kind, and I’m so grateful to have found this one. Truly an amazing practice all around.

Negative experience: Horrible experience and the turnaround in the office is ridiculous. Been a patient for years and now it is time to part ways with this practice. Staff also are talking about other patients while working on me. So they are probably talking about me with their next patient. Dr. Sugarmann is a great doctor but the practice has falling short of great customer service.

Fantastic experience: I had my 6 month check up with Tatiana who is incredible. I have been using her for years and she never disappoints. She does a very thorough job. Dr. Scott Lever, my dentist, also does a great job and is very personable. I love McDonogh Dental and my care providers.

Fantastic experience: Always a good experience when I come to your office. Everyone is so professional and kind and friendly. I had been seeing Dr Fine for close to 30 years I think. He always put me at ease and always figured out any problems that I had with my teeth. I wish him the very best of luck now that he has retired! My recent visit with Dr. Tosky has been no exception, he quickly got to the root of my problem (pun intended) and made the visit and the repair practically enjoyable. I started with Dr Goldberg when I was 6 years old, transitioned with him to McDonogh Dental and will never go anywhere else.

This visit I had a new hygienist and her name was Rena?? She was excellent. She cleaned my teeth using something like a water pik. My son’s dentist explained and showed pictures(X-rays) Didn’t even have to get a new X-rays. I think a lot of Dentist order them just because and it was nice to see that they compared to prior ones Such a lovely office I Highly recommend them

Fantastic experience: Dr Stein is so good with both my toddlers! I literally have no idea how she does it, but they love going to see her and will let her do all the things with no issue. I am convinced she is magical! She is truly amazing with pediatric patients!

Negative experience: This place has become a greedy corporation. God forbid you get sick or need to reschedule, they will make you wait 8 more months for an appointment. You are supposed to get teeth cleanings every 6 months. Good luck getting that here. Appointments are pushed 9, 10, 11 months for teeth cleaning. Rates are extremely high. I should have left sooner. They treat you like an assembly line and time the dentist helping you so you get terrible care. All they care about is getting more and more patients that they will never take care of and can make as much money as possible. I do not recommend going here.

Negative experience: Can’t be trusted - use extortion tactics via credit score reporting. Sadly I’m in financial dilemma due to careless observation of insurance rules before arranging treatment - insurance denied a perio cleaning as too frequent because it was only done less than 2 years prior by former dentist - insurance says they make all that information available to dentist so fault is with McDonogh admin. Furthermore, I just called the office to see what they could do, to be greeted by a rude and belligerent admin that plainly did not take any accountability for their mistake and just stated it was all my fault and responsibility. I have never been treated so poorly by the many dentists offices I’ve been a customer of. I wish I’d continued with my last dentist even though over an hour drive away.

Negative experience: I don’t know if they have different management now or what. But from the front to the back the place needs an overhaul. My insurance changed several years ago so I went to a different dentist for awhile. Now my new insurance is accepted by McDonough. I called to check if they accept my insurance and was told they would call me back to let me know. They never return my call so I call back the next day and ask if it’s accepted and the receptionist says the person who checks that is literally looking at my information now to verify and that they will have to call me back. They don’t call back until that evening saying it’s accepted and that I can come in tomorrow. I inform them I have work and is anything later in the week available to which she replied the next appointment is in August. At this point I’m like ok whatever but she tells me she is going to hold off and see if she can get me anything sooner and hangs up. I don’t hear anything else so I call back a day later because at this point I just want to make an appointment. All I want is to get my bi annual cleaning and they are making it seem like I want a meeting with the Pope. Now on the phone again, another receptionist, is telling me she can make an appointment for that day. What makes them think I’m sitting at home doing nothing so I can just up and go to the dentist on a whim? I refuse and ask do they have anything else so now she has an attitude asking me what works for me. I work shift work with rotating days off and explain to her that we will be on the phone all day going that route. She finally acquiesces and lists a couple of dates and I’m surprisingly able to get an appointment the next week even though just 2 days ago I was told I wouldn’t be able to get in until August. So now I make the January appointment and my second for August. When I get to the office for my 7am appointment no one is there. I stand at the front desk for almost 15 minutes with a delivery guy before an older female receptionist comes from the back saying she was making her coffee. At this point I already know it’s going to be some stuff. I informed them that I came from another dentist but no one asked me the offices name to get my records. Now I’m in the back and the dentist keeps trying to tell me it’s been 4 years since I’ve been to the dentist and I explain I was at a different office the last 4 years, where are my records? She of course has no idea what I’m talking about. On top of that she keeps stabbing my gums then asking am I ok? Only for her to say my teeth are great. So why were you stabbing my gums so much that they ended up hurting late into the evening? To be the first one in the chair the appointment took an hour, between her getting lost in the hallway twice doing what I don’t know. The dentist is so worried about the hygienist giving me a “goodie bag” that they never put the flouride on my teeth before they run off. Then checking out they want me to come back to get a filling repaired and we have to do the song and dance about when I can come in only for me to realize this is the same woman who had an attitude when I told her to just tell me when they have openings. This whole situation was unnecessarily complicated. They would have been better off not sending me the request for feedback. When I went to this office years ago they didn’t make it seem like they were trying to discourage people from being patients. The overall service was horrible.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to this practice since they had a little 3 person office on Liberty Road in Randallstown. That is about 45 years. Their care, and their ability to make space for me in emergencies has been excellent. They keep up with the latest technology and the staff is wonderful I can't recommend them enough

Fantastic experience: I had a cracked tooth on a Sunday afternoon. I was instructed to call on Monday at 8 AM when the office first opened and by 8:45 AM I was in the dentist's chair getting my broken tooth fixed.
