Fantastic experience: Everyone part of Dental Care at Prairie Crossing is first rate. Dr. Whiteside is as thorough with his exams as any dentist I've ever visited. Carrie and the other dental hygienists are friendly, patient, and willing to answer all questions, and the front desk staff is the exact same. I've never met a person in this office who wasn't thoroughly professional and helpful. I'm sure there are many good dental services in Springfield, but my wife and I stopped looking once we found this one.

Fantastic experience: I wrote a scathing review about the follow-up service from Dental Care at Prairie Crossing yesterday but have since retracted it. I understand that in today’s society technical issues happen and that seems to be what has occurred. But today the office reached out to us explaining what happened and got my wife in and addressed all of the issues that occurred over the weekend. Once again they have my my full confidence as a premier dental service in central Illinois.

Negative experience: Edit: I've been a patient for 6 years. I tried to reschedule a routine dental appointment. I was offered an appointment 7 months out. No cancellations were offered or possible work-ins. I suggested that maybe I find a new dentist and I got a text message that said, " We'll inactivate your account, have a great day."

Fantastic experience: Best dental experience ever! Because they are the best Dentist Office in Springfield. Hygienist was outgoing, friendly and made me feel welcome as well as invested in my dental care. Dentist was informative, felt like we made an informed decision together. Front desk greeted me, billing specialist gave me a detailed treatment plan.

My cap came off twice & when I called their emergency hot line they immediately brought me in & quickly resolved the issue. I was impressed with “ Heather “ The Practice Manager ,who made a new cap the 2nd time & addressed the issue of the previous cap being too high . Dr. Wolf & staff were so attentive, really appreciated all their techie equipment ,fuss & attention . A joy to be a patient of theirs . The work environment very happy & told by the Practice Manager That Dr. Wolf & Dr. Jeffrey Whiteside were the best Dentist she had worked for in 16+ years. A great & happy customer Ina

Negative experience: Avoid this dental office at all costs. I am seriously hearing impaired, despite regularly informing them. A dental assistant and office manager. discriminated against me. Due to trying to receive a refund that took weeks because of overpayment, communication was nearly impossible on the telephone. They fired me as a patient without the doctor's approval (I never heard anything from Dr. Whiteside) and with no written notice because I simply could not hear properly. I spent a lot of money and was one of the first patients to use the office. As it was on the network I will give it 1 star due to Brittney, who should be the office manager, as she always took care and took the time to explain the bill to me and appointments, recognizing I had a disability . Always a hassle with overpayment I am very disappointed in Dr Whiteside You want me to call the office to discuss this? Who would I talk to? If it was that important to you, Dr. Whiteside would make the call himself!

Negative experience: I made an appointment here because their website states one option for payment is a dental savings plan. My son has no insurance so it would have been a great option. Upon arrival, I was told that they no longer participate in that program because the discount they offer is more than the discounts offered by the program plus you don't have to pay the yearly participation fees for the program(usually a couple hundred dollars per year). After they took X-rays and did the exam, we discussed the dental plan for my son. The amount was astronomical!! I asked if that was the discounted price since he had no insurance and the exact same person who had just explained to me about the "better discounts" than the savings plan looks me straight in the eye and said, "We don't offer a discount." WHAT?!!? She says I could get a discount on today's visit. An exam and bitewings......175.00. That's not a discount!!! One last thing. As I was looking into this dental savings plan mentioned on their website, guess who's name is listed as a participant in the program Yep, Dr. Whiteside. Very disappointing to say the very least.

I've never had issues with my teeth or any cavaties, but the experience has always been so nerve-wracking, well until yesterday when I had the absolute best dental hygenist that I've ever had before. She was so gentle but very thorough. I left without sore gums and feeling so much more knowledgeable about ways to keep my teeth healthy as I'm aging. Best experience I've ever had. Fantastic experience: I had a crown come off that was made by my previous and now retired dentist. Doctor Wolff was able to see me within 48 hours and kindly cleaned and reattached the crown at no charge. She is our family dentist and we all feel lucky to have found her.

These are the incredible individuals that I encountered at my first visit!
