Negative experience: Hello. Well as it turns out, the bridge you made for me has never fit properly. Then Dr Wallace tried to fix the unfixable piece. Rather than comparing it to the impression taken, I was told to learn to adjust my bite. B.S. To add insult to injury I was charged $125 dollars for a teeth cleaning, because you added other charges I shouldn't have been charged for, as it was part of the initial arrangement. Your billing person didn't even look to see if I had a credit, of which I have a $50.00 credit that was not applied. I'm very upset at the services I have received. I believe I should be refunded my total payment for the bridge. You can have it back. I purposely didn't post this to FACEBOOK in order to give you an opportunity to the right thing. How do you plead. Bob

Fantastic experience: Another 6 month follow-up, and another thoroughly professional job. If it sounds like I’m repeating myself, it’s because I’m doing so. The entire process from arrival to departure was exceptional. From the Front Desk, to the Hygienist, to the Dentist (Dr Wallis), and back to the Front Desk, it was all the best I have experienced. I’m 78 years old, and have frequented many dental offices. Agave Dentistry is hands down the best.

Negative experience: I get too many notifications about my appointment. I got one a month out from my date. Then I get notifications by phone, email and text. Too much. My appointment was for 10:00. I was called back but it was 10:30 before the technician started cleaning my teeth. She only spent less than 30 minutes on them. She was finished for her 11:00 appointment. In the past it's taken 45 minutes to an hour. I don't really know if she did a good job. If it is so important for me to show up on time for my appointment I would expect to be seen on time for my appointment. And appointments can only be made on the hour? Time is something I can not get back.

Fantastic experience: this is a very special dentistry. Awesome dental assistance\receptionist billing department. The doctors are awesome. I felt very relaxed. No need for that glass of wine to calm my nerves lol no they’re not offering it there either. I was in and out in about an hour and a half the half an hour is due to my talking. I have the gift of gab yes I do. highly recommend this dentistry, agave dental family dental. now time for lunch. my husband received his brand new two front teeth. The procedure started before Christmas. But we’re happy to say that he did get them a little late after Christmas, but he’s able to bite into a sandwich and corn on the cob once again. very happy and I’m very happy that I get to see his smile again.

Negative experience: The last 2 visits here at agave dentistry, I ended up paying out of pocket because it turned out that they are not in my insurance contract providers list in the “ last 2 weeks.” . Both times I wasn’t told until after the treatment/ : procedure was done. I think the office staff could have told me about the.change in insurance before the procedure so I could have made an informed decision instead of ending up paying the whole thing out of pocket!

Fantastic experience: I snowbird to Casa Grande from Montana, so I would normally have dental work done at home. However, I suddenly developed a serious toothache to the point I couldn't chew plus the tooth felt loose. Agave was the only dental office willing to see me that day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. A quick x-ray indicated what the problem was. I would absolutely recommend Agave.

Fantastic experience: I started at Agave in 2015 based on the recommendation of the Employee Health Nurse at work. Wife and I were very happy with them but Agave was not in network for the insurance I had after retirement. We switched insurance in 2021 and were able to use Agave again. Excellent care at all levels, from routine cleaning and exams to removing a bad tooth, placing an insert, and installing a new tooth that matched the others in color and fit. We have recommended Agave multiple times to friends and on Nextdoor app.

Fantastic experience: My ❤️ goes out to Jessie. She tried SO MUCH not to inflict pain on me, bcuz my jaw is shaped in a CHALLENGING way it could not be helped. Negative experience: One star because I cannot put zero stars. After my first appointment I noticed they didn’t even spell my last name correctly on my receipt and that should’ve been the first red flag that they don’t pay attention to detail because upon booking a consultation they do ask for an ID and my insurance information. I have had cleanings done here and they were great, no complaints and the hygienist was very welcoming. The dental work I received however has been anything but satisfactory I got a crown done in December, it was incredibly painful. Had it readjusted and that did help a bit but over time my gum became more swollen. Fast forward to now, late March, I had a separate appointment for a filling and I mention the discomfort I still had on the crown as well as a small bump I had on my gum above it. The dentist x rayed and gave me a referral to another dentist. Now here is where the nonsense starts, they claim that the referral they gave me is them telling me I need a root canal. I was never diagnosed this. I was just given a referral not told that I need a root canal, these are two separate things and they refuse to acknowledge it. The filling they performed on me also chipped off 12 days later while I was eating chicken. It didn’t even last 2 weeks (they’re supposed to last years) and it looked off the entire time. I booked an appointment with a separate emergency dentist to fix to chipped filling and he immediately noticed I needed a root canal, not just a crown. I communicated clearly everything I was having an issue with, while I was still at the dental office (Agave Dentistry) the dentist response was to refer me to another doctor. I have to spend a lot more time and money fixing the work that was done incorrectly when the dentist could've just done both the filling and the crown correctly in the first place. I could post the photo of my chipped filling but I won’t, only because that would embarrass me. EDITED TO ADD SINCE I CANNOT RESPOND TO THE COMMENT: I really don’t like that you mentioned doing the additional x rays at not extra cost like it’s some kind of grand gesture when it’s really the least you can do. I did not have any pain on my tooth whatsoever until I got that crown done, incorrectly, by the way. There was a point that the pain became so intense the entire lower right side of my face was pulsing. So you trying to find a solution is really just you doing your job as a dentist. The photo I showed you does have two chipped fillings, one that you did (the right one) and one you didn’t do. I never mentioned to you anything about the filling you didn’t do. But since you want to bring that up, the filling you didn’t do was done YEARS ago so it was understandably worn out. The filling I got at your office was done on March 11th and it chipped while I was eating on March 23rd. Quite a lot came off, might I add, noticeably more than the other filling you didn’t do, as you were able to see in the photo I sent. The other filling held up better even though its several years old and the one I got done at your office was only 12 days old which is unbelievable. Therefore, one of the two fillings that chipped was INDEED done at this office, again, on March 11th. Only for it to chip 12 days after getting it done. I have plenty of proof that I got this filling done at your office, including photos with date and time. I even took a selfie while I was still in your office, I was trying to see what the tooth look like in different lightings because it looked off. In fact, you or the other staff may have seen me taking selfies. The fact you refuse to be accountable for the awfully done work you did on me is also absolutely unbelievable but at this point, not surprising.

Fantastic experience: Sam took me back and was polite and got me ready for my cleaning and also scheduled my next appointment. Jacqueline cleaned, polished my teeth, and flossed was very nice hygienist. Doctor I seen that day was very nice also.

Fantastic experience: Over the past 2 months I had two old crowns (35 yrs ago) fall out. I was able to go in by the next 1-2 days and then called with and earlier appt as soon as my crowns came in. They also have upgraded scanning tools!! Very considerate of pain issues!

Negative experience: After 5 years, Both of us (Judy and Jerry) will be switching to another Dentist.through out Aetna discount, paid $63 for cleaning, today $115, very rude person at front desk, we no longer accept Aetna discount, if that’s the case why wasn’t informed before I came. I came every 3 months and Judy every 6 months.

Negative experience: I would say they are a good dental care provider but as I was recently notified (not by Agave) but by the VA that I needed to find a new dental care provider. I guess they weren’t making enough money off TRICARE! As a veteran who has served his country honorably this was a spit in the face to me. I hope Agave feels good about this decision. Dishonorable that I didn’t even get an explanation why!!!!

Fantastic experience: After two traumatic experiences at other dental offices, I was nervous about finding a new provider. I chose Agave Dentistry based on their great reviews, and I’m so glad I did! Scheduling was easy and the staff was welcoming from the start. Dr. Wallis was warm, friendly, and took the time to explain everything—something no other dentist has ever done for me. He made me feel truly comfortable throughout my visit. The hygienists were also kind, and my cleaning was quick and painless. I highly recommend Agave Dentistry, especially for anyone who has had negative experiences in the past. 5/5 stars!

Fantastic experience: Upon arrival at Agave Dentistry. I walk in like every other individual ,with gunslinger eyes and bad attitude. Besides who likes going to the dentist! All I can think of was how this was around my fifth or seventh time coming to this dentist. And there was no way I could get great service every time. As they were cleaning my teeth in a proper and professional way. The question in my mind lingered. When is that accidental stab gonna come across my gums. But it never happens , because the girls are always very careful, informative and gentle. They never broke out the chainsaw like they do in my bad dentist dreams. OK maybe I watch too much Movies. Needless to say I no longer had a gunslinger look and bad attitude after my visit to this dentist. But I did leave with that big creepy smile. You know the one when you’re trying to show off your beautiful clean teeth, that is only possible when going to a good dentist. All in all I’ve been coming here for a while. The employees in this Dentistry are a blessing. The girls upfront are angels and the doctors are cool cats. I feel you just can’t go wrong with this place.

Fantastic experience: Had my first teeth cleaning with Karen, and she was phenomenal! Her attention to detail surpassed all my previous hygienists and her technique and professionalism were top notch. As a side note, the dentist was also great but Karen was the star.

Negative experience: I was with Agave for 2 years now. Nothing more than cleaning and has been no issues as far as billing. I would come sometimes for an extra visit for cleaning and I will pay out of pocket till I did my crown. I paid what they asked me which was 1200 out of pocket in once and insurance paid what they asked them to pay and here we go I started not enjoy going there for what they claim I owe $300 for something they can’t figure out what! They just want to get paid. The accountant is absolutely terrible. Absolutely no communication . She supposed to call me a month ago never received anything! I went to her office we did all the calculations and she said I owe 190 for also something she doesn’t know what! They asked me to pay 1200 and no problem asked the insurance to pay their part no problem ( i followed up with the insurance) but she wants extra! They lost my husband as future client for doing cosmetic work ( veneer) for all his teeth! and I am not coming back to this place because of their horrible and dishonest accountant. Anybody who doesn’t want to be in debt please stay away from agave dentistry. At least until they find another accountant. :)

Fantastic experience: They have been my dentist professionals since I moved here in 2009. Never any problems and they work hard to keep me comfortable. Going to the dentist can be a chore, but is one I don't dread.

Negative experience: Staff is friendly. However, my family and I will be looking for a new office. It is fully marked that I have a latex allergy. The assistant even asked me before the hygienist came. Well the hygienist clearly was not paying attention as I now look like I got lip filler and my lips are extremely swollen and in pain.

Fantastic experience: I had a tooth feel like it had broken so I came directly to the dental office without an appointment. Within 20 minutes they had me in a chair and examining the tooth. It was indeed cracked and broken and they set me up to have a Crown installed on Tuesday. Is unbelievable customer service. Is 10 out of 10.

Negative experience: The dentist and supporting assistants are friendly and engaging. The problem with this facility is that there is little to no communication between the doctor and the accounting department. I had my initial exam, etc., then discussed with the doctor my level of commitment, commensurate with my insurance coverage. During the course of continually having the temporary crowns replaced, an opportunity arose where I could facilitate obtaining the permanent crowns. Unfortunately, the kind doctor never conveyed my insurance limitations to his billing manager. Therefore, I was charged $7,000 through my insurance provider, then charged an additional $2,500 as an "out-of-pocket" expense. My friends and neighbors have also noticed billing anomalies. When they challenged the accountant about the issue, they were phoned by the dentist and assured that their "overpayment" would be accordingly refunded. Thankfully, the money was returned. They then received a letter from Agave Dental to the tune of "we no longer want to have a client-patient relationship with you". I advise any readers hereof to be especially vigilant with their dealings with Agave Dental.

Fantastic experience: When it comes to the dentist, I am absolutely terrified. I’ve put off seeing the dentist for 10+ years. I just came in for X-rays and a check up but I was still terrified. Dr. Wallis and DA Halle made me feel so comfortable and eased my mind and nerves. Both answered my questions and addressed any concerns that I had. 5/5 stars isn’t enough and I hope Halle and Dr. Wallis get huge raises in the near future!

Fantastic experience: By far best dentist I have been at in a long time. They are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. As soon as you walk in they greet you with a smile. Their staff is amazing. Fantastic experience: I got a cleaning done today, which Stacy was super awesome, very thorough & presicise. I always receive great professional high quality work from Aguave Dentistry. I totally recommend this place to anyone for a good experience regarding any dentistry work you need done.

Negative experience: Initially I really liked this place, but my last two visits I've really questioned if I should find a new dentist office. Some of the staff isn't the nicest and really make me feel horrible for simply asking a question.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to agave for years. Dr Davis and his staff have always been greated. I recently had crowns put on. Dr Davis was very meticulous in how my crowns were to look. It took a couple of attempts from the lab,but we finally nailed it. I couldn't be happier with my new smile! High highly recommend Agave!!
