Negative experience: I wouldn’t recommend this place because the dentist works on multiple persons at once,and he always makes excuses to push your appointment back,and doesn’t listen to the client needs.youngwoo loo is the dentist.

Negative experience: PLEASE BE cautious going to this office, my son who is 24 STILL trying to navigate life had an apt this Friday jan 3rd for tooth pain, they told him he had a rotton tooth. They wasn't able to pull it due to them being overbooked so they cleaned his teeth. Unbelievable! He returned the next day as suggested. These incompetent dentist pulled piece of the tooth and couldn't removed all of it refered him to a oral surgeon to extract tooth 19. told him they would send pain prescription over which they haven't done so hes in excursating pain and can't talk. We are at a stand still because it's Saturday. I will definitely be calling an atty monday morning and there office These dentist come to this office ,once they finished with school to practice on the black community. Once they have there experiences then they go elsewhere I guess they thought my son doesn't have a advocate but they are sadly mistaken! Would not recommend this facility

Negative experience: Every single time I come here I have to wait 45mins to an hour after my appointment schedule to be seen. They have had me wait close to 30min in the back. Set everything up, walk away for another 20mins before you get attended to. STOP OVER BOOKING!!! This place is a waste of precious time. Waiting this long for regular cleaning isn’t right at all

Negative experience: Every single time I come here I have to wait 45mins to an hour after my appointment to be seen. Then once you’re in the back you still have to wait 20- 30 mins. STOP OVER BOOKING. Y’all might as well just start taking walk-ins only because scheduling an appointment is a waste of time.

Negative experience: Appointment was at 11:30 and it’s 1:11 right now!!! The problem is that it’s only one doctor, I feel like if you all know this, call and give people the option to wait well over the appointment time or reschedule!!! This very much is inconveniencing the hell outta me!!! I will be finding another location soon because this is ridiculous

Negative experience: I have been back to this dental office several times for adjustments to my dentures, yet they still do not fit properly. Each visit has been frustrating, as my concerns about discomfort and fit have not been taken seriously. The dentist has been very insensitive to my needs as a patient, leaving me feeling dismissed and unheard. Rather than providing supportive care and ensuring my dentures were corrected, I felt rushed and disregarded. Overall, I am very dissatisfied with the quality of care I received and the lack of compassion shown throughout this process.

Negative experience: They’re always running behind. My appointment was at 1, didn’t get called to the back until 2:25, then had to wait another 35min for the doc to come to my room. Waiting 2 hours for a 10min cleaning is insane.

Negative experience: I rate this place five stars for appearance and as far as the dentist they get zero stars. I booked my appointment back in June which they said first available was July 15th. Okay that fine so I filled out all paperwork at that time to keep from having to come in an extra 20 minutes earlier. My appointment was at 8:30 once I arrived they give me paperwork I informed the lady this was done when the appointment was made. As I’m sitting there I hear another receptionist call to verify my insurance which was also done back in June. Now they call me to the back at 9:06, lady takes X-rays at 9:08 finished at 9:10 and said doctor will be in shortly. I asked her will I be out by 10:00 as I had therapy and she said yes and would let the doctor know. Now the doctor comes in at 9:12 never did the gum count, checked to see if any teeth loose, check for cavities or etc. This man just sprayed water alone my teeth while the assistant used the suction to remove the water. Then she was like let me polish your teeth and we’re done. The time is now 9:20, no cleaning was done, no flossing just water sprayed in my mouth. At the point I’m pissed off ask for manager to address my concerns. She tells me I will have him to re clean my teeth, like how can you re clean something that wasn’t never done. I informed her that I had therapy so she scheduled me for Monday 21st at 8:00. I give them a chance to rectify the problem only to have the same Dr. Yoosuk, Ko do the same thing. I will appeal any other charges other than X-rays to be paid by my insurance. The manager Taina Girald has yet to address this issue when she’s the one that agreed services was not performed on a first time customer. This location is 8301B S Holland Chicago, IL 60620

Negative experience: I was a little mad because I came there for appointment I missed on the 16th and the 30th was the only day that was open to get a deep cleaning I get there and my insurance referred me them and as I wait they do my X-rays to tell me they have to check to see if my insurance will accept the procedure or not and I said well they referred me here and they came back to tell me that they can’t do it today they can only give me a cleaning and I felt like the whole situation was a waste of time because they called me on the 16th specifically for a deep cleaning reschedule which if I had 14 days to see them why not do all the back work that’s needed while I wait what was the point of me scheduling for 5 more days so I had to let them know I have to get my teeth cleaned for braces they said I was a walk in and I haven’t been here in a year and the other doctor didn’t do what they suppose to etc I didn’t pay it attention cause that had nothing to do with today so this lady said the dentist will only do partial of my teeth the bottom cause that’s all I basically need I said no I need my mouth done so the manger came and was so nice and granted him to do it but I don’t think he did my mouth all of it I barely think he clean the crown he numbed my mouth and left for like 15-20 min and them back but I appreciate that lady tho she was professional out of them all

Negative experience: I will never recommend anyone to go here I have been trying to get seen for months the very first time I visited I had to wait 3 1/2 hours to never get seen I was told to come back on another day after a lady was taken out to a hospital by an ambulance when I went back the appointment that was never made by the front desk they said no one had me booked me so that took up my whole day once again to wait and never be seen I was told that the doctor would be prescribing me antibiotics weeks ago and still haven’t gotten a prescription until I called Friday and told them it was never filled this place needs to be closed down I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau we as people are suppose to be cared for and respected by professionals and it seems like our health and pain is taken as joke I am being told that a doctor won’t be able to pull my tooth until May2025 I have been constantly spending my hard earned money on Ubers just to not get serviced by anyone

Fantastic experience: The staff is so professional and amazing! This is one of our favorite dental offices. We truly appreciate all of you guys hardwork and your commitment to giving your patients a positive experience.

Negative experience: They overbook appointments KNOWING they only have one dentist and they also add their “favorites” to the queue ahead of you in your face! If your going to visit this location make sure you eat, have no upcoming plans for the rest of the day and don’t forget to bring a overnight sleeping bag because you will be there ALL DAY WAITING FOR A 10 MINUTE JOB.

Positive experience: I gave 3 stars because the staff was friendly and the office was clean but the wait time is HORRIBLE even if you have an appointment you’ll still have to wait 2-3 hours to get called and still have to wait longer to see the dentist because there’s only ONE DENTIST running from room to room!

Negative experience: 2/25 I went in for my crown to be put in but the first procedure had to be done over which took 3 hours and it isn’t fixed correctly. It still hurts. I haven’t let them know because I need to prepare myself for the work. I wasn’t pleased at my visit. The information I was given I didn’t agree with. Then while cleaning my teeth I was stuck all in my gums and water squirting all in my face water running all down my neck so my clothes are now wet and I have to go in 0 below weather. They are students it looks like. No one intoduce themselves besides the doctor. Never said what is about to happen. Then she wants to pull my tooth which is in the frint with no options I had to do all the suggestions. Then the young lady forgets to polish my teeth and when she does it felt like a kid scribbling on my teeth. I wasn’t happy with my experience. 10/3/24 As of today I had a 12:30 pm appointment and sat in the chair for a hour and no one checked on me. So I got up and asked how much longer and the dentist doctor said another 30 minutes. I got up and left. This is sad. Yall see the bad comments and it doesn’t change. I had a bad feeling not to show up and I went because I wanted my tooth fixed. Don’t go done waste your money

Negative experience: They never sent the referral to uic dental causing me to pay a out of pocket expense for my daughter's root canal Update we back toady after I had to paid out of pocket for a root canal to sit there for over 2hrs to tell me a exam needs to be done first then5 to 7 business to come back for a crown on mt child this place has the worst customer service ever everyone please stop going there

Positive experience: Stopped in at 10 Am was out by 10:40. I was extremely pleased with the Dentist's prompt and courteous manner. My product was well made and surprisingly very comfortable. Well done.

Negative experience: I was not able to see the dentist today due to the amount of time in the waiting area. I waited for an hour and 20 minutes to be called to the back. Once called to the back I was advised that there was another family of at least 2 patients before me! I had to leave as I did not have the time to wait another hour to be seen. Unfortunately I will be looking for another dentist.

Negative experience: I waited 1 1/2 hours for a 1:00 pm appointment (20 minutes before, 1:07 hours after 1pm) and waited at least two people who came in after me get seen by staff. Apparently they didn’t put me in the queue, probably because they were too busy chatting amongst themselves, and taking breaks instead of making sure everyone was seen. I left the office, went home, and booked an appointment with another dentist.

Fantastic experience: I literally just had THE best experience today. Didn’t even get my doctors name but Simone was back there too SNAPPIN. Keep the staff yall got now on LOCK. Didn’t even feel the extraction getting done. I was finished in 5 min and don’t even have pain afterwards

Negative experience: Enjoyed my first visit to get my wisdom tooth pulled. The doctor pulled it out and I left and had no pain at all during my healing process. The second time I went was a nightmare. It was someone different and he seemed impatient. I was choking on tooth fragments and left with so much pain and my gums were throbbing really bad. Don’t think I will come back after that

Fantastic experience: Went to other Dental dreams locations...& NONE...are as efficient as the Chatham location...Other locations refused work on my tooth.... the Chatham location arranged an extraction right away....The other locations cleaned my teeth and left my gums bleeding and sore.... The Chatham location gave me a complete and thorough cleaning.... They send it to the bleeding put the whitener on and allow me to gaggle and rinse with Listerine very professional place....A complete 180 when compared to the North avenue location.

Positive experience: I started my experience 3months ago.the service was good verifying insurance . I requested new denture . It has been 5 visits at the teeth are very poorly made front teeth it seems the maker of the dentures they can never get it correct. So in the month of March I am still being fitted for the front Denture. But the dentist seems to agree that there is a problem and constantly making an effort to satisfy the customer.

Positive experience: From the time I made my appointment to the actual day of the appointment interaction with the receptionist to the the doctor's assistant will great. The moment the dentist came in he did say hello but her never introduced himself. I had to ask his assistant his name. I will be returning for future service.

Fantastic experience: I loved the energy the second I walked in, very welcoming, caring and professional and beautiful setting. I don’t remember my dentist name but he was (African) and I will say it was a comfortable and great first time for me, he was funny as well and had a great personality. I’d definitely recommends them.

Negative experience: Terrible, my lady went there today &they gave her a prescription after she told them she was allergic to the medication. The dentist rewrote the prescription given her the same medication. I wouldn’t recommend going here. She is still in pain & highly upset.

Fantastic experience: I was skeptical at first after reading several reviews but had a very pleasant experience! I was an emergency walk in appointment with a molar abscess and only waited in the waiting room for 10 minutes before being seen. The staff were pleasant, efficient,and professional! Don't hesitate to use this location for your dental emergencies!

Fantastic experience: My husband and I were very pleased with the service we received at Dental Dreams. The staff was very pleasant and the dentist was truly Amazing. No pain, I could not believe it. Negative experience: Waited for over an hour for scheduled visit...young Dentist can an started work on me never said him name or that he was the Dentist until I asked, this was after 2 people had already handled me. He looked at my teeth for a couple of mins and said nothing was wrong with them. Went to cleaning my teeth with some other young person that looked like he was in training...sprayed water on my teeth and I told the dentist the tooth that I came in for, it was Sensitive to the water. He then said to change my toothpaste (really!) then cleaned about 3 or 4 teeth (didnt even clean all of them) then the young man in training he left him to polish them I think he may have gotten 2or 3 teeth polished...not a good experience and a lot of wasted time.

Negative experience: I made an appointment for 11am I got to the place at 10:45am ..my thing is why would you schedule an appointment if you going to be waiting for over hour to actually get seen .then is so inconvenience for the patients waiting for hour after scheduling an appointment this is sooo ridiculous I am very upset if I could write more reviews I would DO NOT COME HERE I REPEAT they take foreverrrrrrrrrr to get service done they are soooo unprofessional I didn’t get seen until 1pm if I’m lying I’m dying man don’t come hereeeeeee I had to edit to add more because I’m still here maddddddd asllllll ahhhhhhhhhhhhh

Fantastic experience: I went for my root canal but the dentist that was suppose to perform the procedure I was told he left and gave no notice. I wish someone would have called me to inform me of this. Because the tooth was a tooth next to the wisdom tooth that was already gone I asked the dentist I talked to Dr Woo to just pull it and he was quick and it went smoothly I am terrified of needles but because of his quickness I had no time to panic then or in the process of the extraction. Fantastic experience: 7/29/24 Back for a 6 month dental cleaning and another adjustment for the partials. They're very kind and accommodating. The partials are almost there. 2/6/2024 Well I am back again for an adjustment to the partials. They are still tight and I cannot chew on them! What's the purpose! I was asked to give it a few days again! Ok lets hope it gets better, I really don't want to have a problem! I am Ok we're on a roll! Had a 10:30am appointment got there at 10:00am called me at 10:10am! I was finished at 10:30 am!!! Baby ain't nothing like a morning appointment! My teeth don't feel so hot but I have to get used to partials! I'll keep you all posted! ⚘⚘⚘ 1/11/24 It just keeps getting better and better! I had a 9am appointment I got there at 9:10am. I was called at 9:15am! I was floored! I was running behind today and expected that I would have to wait maybe 30 to 1 hour. Nope not at all, clearly this made my day!⚘⚘⚘ Thank you for making my day! Today 12/21/23 was the best ever. I had a 10am appointment and I was called at 10:15am! Once you get in the back it's great but if you have a 2pm appointment you may not get seen until 3:00 or 3:30pm. I understand things happen but this overbooking is all the time.

Negative experience: I had an appointment at 930 am and it’s currently 928 am and the doors are still not open. Another woman was waiting outside much earlier and decided to leave because the doors are closed. So unprofessional. Doesn’t make sense that no one’s here to work. Disappointed. Do better. Don’t come here because they don’t even open.

Negative experience: Awful. Made me wait literally 3hrs and still didn't get any dental work. All I wanted was a cleaning... I had an appointment and never even saw a doctor. Came in @ 1:20 left at 3:50pm.... I feel taken advantage of. The nerve to ask me to reschedule

Positive experience: They do take walk-ins until 3pm and they do accept medicaid. The reason I gave it three stars is because I came in at 12:10 and didn’t get taken until 3 hours later.. as I was waiting, me and a fellow patient noticed that people who walked in (no appointments) were getting taken care of before us and so we literally had to speak up to get some recognition. and when i got called back, I had to wait an additional hour and a half to actually get something done! The staff was super sweet though and the procedure took only ten minutes. I just don’t understand why it took over 4 hours for a ten minute procedure..

Negative experience: The only reason I'm giving 1 star is because I can't proceed without doing so. This was the WORST experience my children and I have had. Unfortunately, due to the loss of personal health insurance, we have to use Medicare, and I definitely notice the difference in service. The doctor was unprofessional, unsympathetic, and very unhelpful. I wouldn't recommend anyone go to this place for ANYTHING. Terrible! Let me also talk about how long we waited. Our appointments were set for 3:00 PM, but we didn't leave until 5:45 PM. Once I brought it to the CSR's attention, she did her very best to find out what was happening and called us to the back for x-rays. We then had to wait another hour for the doctor, who was unapologetic for her tardiness and totally dismissive. Lastly, when I say I hated my experience here, it's truly an understatement. During treatment, they didn't have the courtesy to keep water from running down my shirt. The aprons didn't have clips to hold them in place, and water was everywhere. The dentist got an attitude when I explained I was in pain. Instead of trying to find out why, she proceeded with an attitude, walked out of the room, and never came back. I had to find my own way out. Needless to say, I left without making another appointment. I want to caution you that this place is a mess service-wise. I wouldn't recommend going here at all. You've been warned!

Fantastic experience: Dr. Reynolds is the best dentist that I ever experienced. She is kind a very concerned about her patients. She is very thorough and make sure everything is perfect before you leave her office. I will definitely recommend this office to everyone that I know.

Negative experience: All the front desk staff are rude. There were three women in the front at the desk talking to each other and making jokes about people in waiting area. When you get to the back the staff are very pleasant. The Dr was amazing as well.

Positive experience: I had a great experience but the wait time on Friday is long. One if the employees said that Fridays are usually busy. I arrived at 10:50 am my appointment was scheduled for 11 am. I didn't get called on until 12:30 ish. Make sure your schedule is clear on Fridays lol. I would return.

Negative experience: If you're looking for a location that actually starts appointments on time, don't come here. Don't get me wrong, the staff and dentists are cool, but if your appointment is at a specific time, expect to not see the doc until almost 30 mins after the appointment. Don't be foolish like me and have other appointments scheduled because every time I've come in here, I never go back at my appointment time.

Negative experience: This is my second time at this location and both times I NEVER got called at my appointment time. My appointment was at 2pm, I didn’t get seen by the dentist until 3:45pm. It was not packed in the lobby at all. I won’t be returning back to the location due to the fact that I don’t want to wait 2hrs after my appointment time.

After having terrible experiences with other dentist in the area and feeling insecure about my poor dental health, I was just eerie about going to a new dentist and was exhausted from the search. However, when I called to schedule my appointment, off the back the receptionist was very kind and helpful and was even willing to push my appointment back for me that same day because of me running late. I had Dr. Rogers as a dentist and his assistant Elizabeth and they are honestly my favorite dentist duo I’ve ever had in my entire life. Dr. Rodgers broke everything down for me, in a way that I could understand and treated me with uppermost respect and professionalism. He also helped me feel better about the plan to improve my dental health. Not to mention he is actually quite hilarious! I am so glad I found this place and I will for sure be staying here for a while! Thanks Dental dreams-Chatham!

Negative experience: This dentist was not professional there was a worker beating on the wall while I was waiting in pain. The dentist than prescribed me 500 mg Tylenol in 500mg amoxicillon. I have a gum disease where I was told I would lose all my teeth before I'm 40. Which I'm well aware of I also had a huge abscess at the upper level of my mouth. With three severely broken teeth. I have been prescribed penicillin because of how severe in decayed the teeth is. I assume he thought I wanted pain pills when he was referring to opioid which I never asked for. I said the antibiotics he prescribed was to weak. Not the pain pill in which I didn't matter what pain pill I was given I didn't want it. In than they gave me referrals to place where they are not available.

Negative experience: 2022: Not the greatest start. I arrived at 1:20pm for a 1:30pm appointment. They didn't give me the paperwork to fill out until 1:35pm. There's no disabled or bench seating in the lobby. For some reason even though this is an obvious kids facility they were playing an old hood movie (might've been "New Jack City.") This with all of it's cursing seemed super out of place especially considering the quiet, calm temperament of the employees. The carpet desperately needs to be cleaned as well. They finally called me around 2pm. After initially saying they would be able to do my crown same day when I was setting up the appointment, they told me it would take 5 days to get authorization from my insurance so they did an exam & basic cleaning. Then, they told me the crown would actually take two days to perform. I wish we would've gotten this out of the way before I showed up. On top of that they seemed all sorts of discombobulated. They ran out of gloves in the room I was in, the mouth rinsing machine they tried to use was defective & the doctor almost knocked over the entire computer desk because it wasn't assembled/mounted correctly. They were also out of things in other rooms as other assistants were running around looking for things as well. I didn't get out of my appointment until 2:45pm. That's almost an hour & a half after I arrived yet all they did was a basic cleaning that took 5-10 minutes as well as some x-rays that took about the same. This means I literally sat around twiddling my thumbs for more than an hour most of the time. Doctors complain when people are late, but don't seem to understand that their patients have things to do too so they need to be on point. I hope the next two appointments aren't a disaster like this one. 2 out of 5 stars Update 2024: Every time I've contacted them, I've specifically requested a deep cleaning. I get there and they do a basic cleaning that took less than 5 minutes then sent me on my way. At least this time they called me in earlier than expected. What's funny is they called me to confirm the appointment...while I was already there and had been filling out papers in the lobby for 10 minutes... The staff is ok. There's almost all new faces everytime I come here. They don't have attitudes, but they aren't particularly welcoming either. I feel like I've been trying to get another deep cleaning done for years and they either refuse to do it and won't tell me why or are just incompetent. I'm also tired of having to fill out paperwork everytime. I guess it's time to find another dentist.

Fantastic experience: The staff at the Chatham Dental Dreams location is very pleasant and professional. I need to have some important healthcare issues addressed very soon. I contacted their office at the last minute to get an appointment on yesterday for today. I was given an early appointment so that I would have an opportunity to get out and return home before Friday afternoon "rush hour". I will definately recommend this team of dental professionals to both my family and friends.

Fantastic experience: I am recovering from hernia repair surgery. I needed to see a dentist. My insurance referred me to this office. I have to say this was the most pleasant experience at a dentist office in my life. First, they took me right away and I felt very little discomfort. The staff was professional and quick. I strongly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I am very satisfied with the service and how clean and organized the place is. They also have a play area for kids! I love how professional staff was.I Adore Dr Frazier! I really appreciate the service she provided! Also her assistant! I definitely recommend this location!

Negative experience: Today was definitely not a good experience. We were called by staff at least 4 times to confirm appointment and when we arrived for the crown we were told that the crown had not even arrived. So taking a child out of school and taking off from work was a total waste of time. I value my time. Please put things in place to avoid this type of situation.

Negative experience: I will say the receptionist are very friendly and pleasant,they were the best part of my visit. I had an appointment with a Black woman dentist and let me tell you it was by far the WORST EXPERIENCE I've EVERRRRRR had with a dentist. Originally she was to repair my back tooth and fill a couple of cavities I had. The tooth that needed repairing she COMPLETELY changed the shape of my tooth which left my tooth uneven. With all the numbing medicine I didn't feel at first until I look in the mirror once she quickly walked away and said I was done for the day. Fast-forward to my next appointment which was scheduled for 9:30 she didn't come to start my next appointment until 11:50 after showing her how she made my tooth uneven she kept saying that's your natural enamel that she can't fix but she carved so much of the other side of my tooth which made my natural side stick up. I will never go there again let alone allow her to make my mouth worse than it was before I started. I advise anyone and everyone to NOT go to her.

Negative experience: This use to be a very nice office with excellent denists. Now it's one of the most unprofessional dental offices I have ever visited. The office manager is not only unprofessional and enept, she lacks interpersonal and patient resolutions skills. My denist never communicated with me, never asked me any questions. This office is a sad reflection of our oral health care system

Negative experience: Staff was professional and friendly. My wait time was rather longer than expected. My appointment was for 9 A.M. I arrived early enough to check in at the desk. The attendant called my name taking me into a room. I had xrays done not long after being seated. The wait time for the dentist was over 45 minutes before being seen. The office appeared over booked. My first time attending Dental Dreams and I will return again.

Negative experience: I had an appointment for 2pm. I signed in at 2:04pm, the lady took my info and asked if it was my first time? I replied no I’ve been here before (my daughter and I come at least once or twice a year). I still had to fill out the paperwork like a new patient. I sat in the office for an hour and I asked how long the wait would be she replied you have one person in front of you. Ok I waited 2 people went back and I’m still waiting an hour later now 2 hours and still no change just waiting. My daughter and I left without getting serviced, I’m so disappointed in this dentist office.

Negative experience: The customer service here is the worst. First appointment was at 10:30. I signed in awaiting my turn. At 11:45 I'm called to the desk only to be told my insurance was not valid. I get on the phone call the insurance and get the info within 5 minutes. What they did in this hr and 15 mins was let everyone else go ahead of me. Finally at 12 I am ushered to my chair. The girl performing the xrays just sticks the device in my mouth and cuts my gums. I wait until 1:30 I get up but the manager ensures I will be seen. At 2:15 , without being served I leave. Almost 4 hrs with no sercive! The manager the guarantees that they can see me the next business day at 9 am. Between leaving and returning the next business day they call me 3 times, as if I was a previous no show. I arrive as expected I actually signed in 10 min earlier. After an hr the front desk calls me asking me to pay for services, I refused because nothing was performed and it appeared to be another delay tactic. Eventually, I received my services and was satisfied, but this practice must do better in time management and patient allocation. Don't over book and be nicer to your patients after all we are paying.
