Negative experience: I’ve been waiting for almost an hour, still waiting for my teeth cleaning.

Fantastic experience: An outstanding office with an exceptional team! The staff and doctors are knowledgeable, welcoming, and truly go above and beyond. The office itself is beautiful, and you can trust this team to provide the highest level of care.

Fantastic experience: My appointment was at 11:88 am. We arrived early and was immediately attended. Great service.

Negative experience: I was a patient of vista hills for 10+ years until I unfortunately had this bad experience. Recently I tried to get Invisalign through their orthodontics. I got the run around for about 5 months all for them to tell me that my insurance denied it. I went to another orthodontics who sent in the proper paper work to my insurance and within 7 days it was approved. Not to mention Invisalign is about $1,500 more at vista hills than other places. If this is a service you are looking for I encourage you to shop around first.

Negative experience: IF YOU LIKE TWO TONE DENTURES..AFTER TELLING THEM YOU WANT THEM WHITE ..AND.. AFTER PAYING FOR THEM..YOU GO BACK N TRY TO HAVE THEM CORRECT THE SHADE OF WHITE "YOU" ASKED FOR..THEY TELL YOU IT'LL BE THREE HUNDRED DLS. OUT OF YOUR OWN POCKET .TO CORRECT SOMETHING..THEY MESSED UP..EVEN HAVING A FIVE YR. INSURANCE PLAN..SEEMS LIKE THEY DONT CARE ABOUT THEIR PATIENTS SATISFACTION.....KEEP GOING THERE N GOOD LUCK ..

Fantastic experience: Everyone at Vista Hills is very friendly. From the front desk, X Ray Tech, Dentist, and Financial Coordinator... everyone made me feel welcome. They also have payment plans. I highly recommend Vista Hills Family Dental. Update: I had another treatment at Vistal Hills and again, everyone was wonderful. Dental hygeinist explained everything in detail.

Fantastic experience: I seriously can not stress how great this place is. I was so scared to get a root canal but it was just as stress free and painless as a regular tooth cleaning! Everyone is so nice! They even gave me a blanket because I was cold. I really hope you'll read this review if you need any work done and go here. It's worth it! Also, the dentist who worked on my root canal uses this thing so you don't taste or swallow the dust of your tooth (im sure there's a better way to explain this) but this is just so helpful and wish more dentist would do it. I will never go anywhere else! I don’t know how long ago I wrote this anymore but as of today 2025. It still holds true. This place is simply the best! I’ve been going here for years and I recommend it to everyone. Their staff is great! From the first person you speak with to the last! I’ve dropped insurances just so I could go back to Vista.

Fantastic experience: This was 1st visit to Vista Hills Family Dental, which my wife goes here and recommended that I go here. My 1st visit here was and was the most pleasant visit I had compared to the other dentists I had gone to. The staff were very friendly and the technician who performed my deep cleaning was the most relaxing tech who performed the deep cleaning that I had ever had. I will be there again this coming week and look forward that I feel relaxed as I felt on my 1st visit

Negative experience: They Cancelled my appointment last minute within an hour until my appointment , never got a call to reschedule. But they are quick to change you a fee if you cancel on them within 24 hours. I get it things happen but god forbid if they happen to the patient.

Negative experience: Been coming here for years and this is the 1st time I have waited over 30mins to see my dentist. Then I had a tech do my cleaning no communication of what he wanted I had to guess then put the flouride on the front of my teeth and didn't spread it. I had to do it myself with my tongue. Then he gave me a tool and said here I'll be back and never saw him again. I guess what really bothered me is I had two xrays done however that was not the problem. Apparently, I had a crown cracked from the last time and no one mentioned it at the time for payment almost 8 months ago. So here I am in the waiting room to pay, and it wasn't the clerk with attitude it was her boss she says the xray is incorrect you are going to have to wait. I explained to her the whole session took longer than expected and I had another appointment to get to in 20 mins, so my time was limited. She turns around and says if you want insurance to cover this you are going to wait until I come back. I'm like really what about my time? I was there on time and my other appointment charges for arriving late or last-minute cancelation just like this office does with a big sign next to the clerk's computer. Yeah, that wasn't right, and I like I stated I'll be coming back because Dr. Alvarez is great, but everyone's time is valuable and that lady needs to learn how to speak to people. Update: I believe speaking to you officer manager and addressing the issues head on was my attempt to address my discontent. To make a statement saying if I want my insurance to cover my work I'll wait for them, I'm pretty sure is not the correct professional response to someone's concern. Final Update: 07/11 Last week I received a letter in the mail saying the dentist no longer wanted to provide me service. How unprofessional and childish do you have to be to kick a patient out for the telling truth about his experience. Instead of apologizing and saying lets do everything to win our customer back nope get a letter saying He has chosen to no longer provide me service. Maybe the practice should hold their staff accountable for their lack of customer service.

Positive experience: I was a little disappointed with today's visit. I was text to arrive 10 minutes before my appointment so I did and I was not called in and waited 50 minutes. I saw other patients being called in but . Until I went to ask them they began to move me along overall waited about an hour before being worked on. The front office were nice. Maybe be more aware of the waiting period .

Fantastic experience: Vista Hills Dental Clinic is always on point from start to finish. From the warm welcome to coffee if you’d like. Hygienist Lourdes is efficient and has a great personality. Upon exit you are greeted by receptionists who will set you up for your next visit and are very knowledgeable and prompt with insurance information. Love this Clinic

Negative experience: Very frustrated with my visit this morning. I came in for a routine cleaning, filled out all the necessary forms, got taken to the back—only to be told they couldn’t proceed without x-rays. The tech did offer to double up on my coverage for the x-rays, but being pregnant, I didn’t feel comfortable moving forward with them. This is something that should have been communicated ahead of time. I had to rearrange my work schedule to make this appointment, only to leave without being seen. It felt like a complete waste of time and could’ve easily been avoided with better communication. If this is your policy then why not let me know before my appointment, again very disappointed with the way this was handled. Your response clearly doesn’t reflect my concern.

Fantastic experience: On Monday, I visited Vista Hills Dental and was greeted warmly by the front desk. Within (10) minutes of my appointment, Annette dental assistant took me to the 1st room and took a quick exam of how I was doing at that moment. Soon after Samantha the hygienist turned in some relaxing music and she started cleaning and polishing my teeth. At the end she applied a jelly fluoride to prevent cavities from occuring. Overall, a Great Experience since my previous doctor didn't have someone to clean my !

Negative experience: My wife and I were new patients and had several procedures done before we decided to look for another dentist. This decision came after trying to reschedule a simple cleaning but because it was only a 28 hour notice and not a 48 hour notice that I would be charged $50 cancelation fee. The girl on the phone did not want to waive the fee and told me it was OK to lose us as patients over $50. Even knowing after we spent $1k for out of pocket expenses. What a shame,smh.

He was very condensending and wouldn't let me reply to his almost demands by being very loud.

Negative experience: Very disappointed. When I scheduled i asked for a specific hygienist. When I arrived today I was told I would get whoever is available. This has never been the case in the past. The girl that took me to the back was rude. Don''t know what is going on at this office. They used to take real good care of it's patients and now feels like they don't care. Will probably be looking for a new dentist office. Seems as patient satisfaction is not a priority.

Negative experience: Don’t like how I was told we can’t request a Dental Hygienist any longer. I have my preferred dental hygienist I love to clean my teeth. Was told unless I come at 0800 in the morning I’m not guaranteed to see my preferred dental hygienist.

Positive experience: Good teeth cleaning, hygienist why are was very thorough and well mannered, would like to have her do my cleaning anytime. Usually have Valerie go is very professional.et us in late Arrived at 2:30 for s 2:ay more than half a 40 spot. Did not sit down for my cleaning until after 4:00. Why is your office so not picky about the patient being ten minutes late for.an appt and you get us in late, like today, more than 30 minutes later?!
