Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to Dental Arts Group in Manahawkin after switching dentists. The staff, hygienist, Diane, and Dr. Strait all made me feel welcome and at put me at ease. Their office was clean and modern with great music. Diane was knowledgeable and my cleaning was gentle, yet thorough. Both she and Dr. Strait complimented my dental hygiene and the quality care that my previous dentist provided. After showing me a large visual of an old/cracked filling, Dr.Strait explained a crown was something to consider. I left feeling glad that I found a new, pleasant and very professional dental office!

Fantastic experience: Well my first appointment with Dr. Strait and Diane, the Dental hygienist was literally the best experience ever!! Diane provided a thorough explanation of every step of my comprehensive evaluation with an emphasis on making me feel comfortable and at ease! Then, Dr.Strait gave me his recommendations and also provided an explanation for everything. I left the appointment feeling like I will be in good hands moving forward with necessary treatment needed. From making the appointment to leaving the office, every staff member was personable and obviously caring. I’m so blessed to have found this practice!

Fantastic experience: I recently moved to the area and found this practice that came highly recommended on Facebook. I walked in and was immediately impressed by smiles and nice staff the entire way. Dr. Straight and his helper (I forgot her name now!) who took my xrays were such a good team together!!!! I need a lot of work done and Cali at the check out explained to me my entire bill and gave me choices to help me financially. This office is a hidden gem in my book!!! I am a Dental Arts Group lifer thanks to the good staff and Doctor!!!!! TEN STARS!!!!

Negative experience: So. Sorry to say. Not happy. I went to them highly recommended. So I made the switch. Well they have canceled all my appointments and then sent out cleanings like a lottery. Very very disappointed.

Negative experience: Another patient factory that nickels and dimes the poo out their patients. Had my last cleaning there, it was the fastest cleaning i ever had in my life (last patient of the day). I question in the tech even covered the whole mouth. The work was not checked by a Dr., Nor for cavities after the tech finished ‘cleaning’. I said, ‘is the dr. Coming in?’ And was told ‘Next time you’ll see the dr’. Im thinking In what, another 6 months? So a dr here at DAG gives your teeth a half ass once over once a year? Guess they just want insurance money for a cleaning without providing a complete comprehensive care visit? Most ‘patient factories’ typically claim this is the care you’ll receive. Ive never had a cleaning that wasn't checked over by the dentist before they sent you on your way. Like the rest of the failing US healthcare system, you’re referred to a specialist for matters that would be addressed typically in the same visit. You’re suppose to have x-rays once a year. I know we’d be going on 2 years at this point. Find yourself an old school dentist that gives 2 craps and takes the time to examine the work done on their patients by their employees. Not ‘get ‘em in, get 'em out’ like the DAG greed that seems to be the case. Also, if you enjoy being hounded about your upcoming appointment before they cancel you, Then your in the right place. Completely obnoxious care and policies.

Fantastic experience: I recently moved to the area and needed to find a new dentist (which is one of my least favorite doctor visits, so of course I was already nervous). I heard great things about Dental Arts Group and figured I would give it a try. My BF used them a few weeks before and was raving about how great the service was. I waited for no longer than 10 minutes. Although I do not remember the techs name she was phenomenal, walked me through everything step by step and very friendly. Then Tamara came in to do my cleaning and was very personable. Kept asking if I was okay and finished quickly. Then the Dr. Last came in Dr. Straight who yet again was phenomenal, personable & caring. I had a great experience and am so happy that I finally found a Dentist that I do not mind going to! It truly showed me that it’s not about the doctor itself, it’s the staff that makes a difference.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to dental arts group for some time now and every appointment I leave satisfied. From the front desk to the hygienists to the dentists and everywhere in between, everyone is super friendly and kind. My last appointment was only a few days ago for my wisdom teeth removal surgery and I had a great experience with everyone! I wish I got her name but there was a woman I believe a surgical assistant (sorry if wrong), who went ABOVE and beyond to make me comfortable and feel safe during the entire procedure. Overall dental arts group is a great dentists office and I recommend!

I don't leave reviews unless I feel people need to know a good business where they're treated with care and professionalism and we found this at the Dental Arts Group. From the moment we walked in, there was a sense of calm and a good vibe seeing how everyone who works there interacted. Dr. Halkina and staff eased my "dental work anxiety" and were able to come up with a plan to get my teeth and gums in better shape. I had to get 4 teeth pulled. Dr. Halkina, in conjunction with Dr. Cohen, were detailed, caring, and very personable....a great experience! Anyone looking to get any dental work done should be making an appointment with Dental Arts Group. You won't be disappointed!

Positive experience: Front desk staff and assistants were helpful, professional, and thorough in preparing informational package etc for 1st visit with Dr Strait. I experienced a Short waiting time as did other patients as they arrived. Dr Straight listened to me, but also asked a lot of questions to understand my dental - sleep apnea dilemma. He had a kind, respectful manner, and seemed very knowledgeable with oral sleep apnea devices and shared some treatment options. He seems to be very interested in patient success and satisfaction, I look forward to working with him in achieving my dental goals.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient for three years. Everyone is professional, friendly, upbeat, timely, accommodating and considerate. The new office location is lovely and spacious. Dr. Strait is clearly interested in the patients comfort and discusses what is needed in a professional manner. I have now Ben a patient for 5 years and continue to be impressed with everybody in this office.

Positive experience: The doctors and dentist and nurses were super accommodating. The only thing I didn’t like was scheduling an oral surgeon almost 2 months out. Everything else was great!!

Fantastic experience: My Dental Cleaning was terrific. I was with Gina again who did a thorough cleaning and touched on importance of my return in a 4 month period. She is a professional and pleasant person.

Negative experience: BEWARE! Dental work was OK although needed multiple visits before seeing the correct Dental surgeon. Misleading billing practices, indicated at time of treatment that the service providers were in network but then charged hundreds later in additional out of network fees. Advise using other providers that are more transparent and upfront about what services will cost patients out of pocket.

They got me in and out and I’m extremely happy with how they fixed my chipped bonding. I would recommend this place to everyone of my family members and friends. Fantastic experience: Couldn't have asked for more, called the office for an emergency appointment (great office staff) and within a couple of hours Dr. Halkina fixed two front teeth that I had cracked! She is an amazing dentist! She made me feel so comfortable and explained everything as to why it happened and what to do in the future to prevent it from happening again. Fantastic experience: First visit. Facility is clean and bright. Reception was friendly. After a short wait, I was taken to a room. Panarex and other X-rays were done by Jill. Darcy did my cleaning. It was a very gentle cleaning. I then saw Dr Strait. He showed me a cracked tooth on the imaging. He recommended a plan to fix the tooth. I agreed to the plan. We will fix that tooth soon. I am happy I selected this practice for my dental care.

Fantastic experience: Posting this on behalf of my husband—the big ol’ teddy bear of a man who would rather wrestle a grizzly than go to the dentist. From the dawn of time (or at least from the moment we scheduled the appointment), the office staff was nothing short of amazing! They juggled his wild work schedule like seasoned circus performers and made booking a breeze. I was even able to fill out online forms ahead of time and warn them that my husband approaches dental visits like a cat approaches a bath—with pure dread. But let me tell you, this team actually read what I wrote (a rarity these days)! From the front desk to the assistant, the hygienist, and the dentist, every single person was kind, patient, and took their time with him. For the first time in forever, he walked out of a dentist's office feeling comfortable—which is a miracle considering he's bounced between four different offices before finally finding the one. Then came his second appointment with Diane the hygienist, who tackled his deep cleaning like a total pro. My husband had nothing but great things to say about her, which is shocking because, again—dentist visits are usually his personal nightmare. Long story short: This place is awesome, the staff is top-tier, and they even take our insurance (which is rarer than a unicorn around here). If my big, tough, dentist-fearing husband gives them a thumbs up, you know they’re doing something right! He has more dental work coming up, so I’ll update this review as we go. But so far, 10/10 would recommend!
