Dental on Central

Fantastic experience: Doctors and all staff are very careful about safety in performing any dental procedures. This allows not only the desired outcome but also quicker tasks performed. The result is less recovery time. They also provide information about what to expect after performing dental work and instructions on what to do in case of discomfort and are available to advise further. I am very impressed and grateful that they offer help after you leave the building but nearby just a phone call away. They are a very caring team. We appreciate all you do. That is why we enjoy coming back.

Fantastic experience: Michelle was an amazing hygienist, the staff was helpful in making sure insurance was covering everything I needed, and Dr. Herro was kind and very knowledgeable.

Negative experience: Communication with the office was extremely difficult. Making an appointment took more than a dozen text messages and 5 phone calls. I spent over an hour on hold!

Fantastic experience: Love this place! The staff here have great work ethic and they are very honest. I have been to other dental clinics and many locations will literally lie to you and tell you you need work done on your teeth that doesn’t exist. I will never go anywhere else. I had the best teeth cleaning experience plus they showed me the X-rays and went over everything in detail. Dentists here are awesome! I highly recommend this place !

Fantastic experience: I was impressed with this dental office. I had been to a few dentists, and they were the same, just matter of fact, but without enough answers. The Dr's and the staff were very professional, and they all explained everything to my understanding. By the time I left the office I was very comfortable with the Dr's and with my care plan they laid out.

Dr Herro, Dr Olson and the wonderful Dr Waters have been the kindest and most professional people who have ever worked with my Special needs son. I find it very hard to trust anyone with his care - but they won me over!

Fantastic experience: My very first experience at Dental on Central went far and above my expectations. My blood pressure goes up at any dental visit. But the staff and Logan were great. Logan listens to my fears and concerns about issues I am having. We divided a plan with me. I am looking forward to getting all issues fixed finally!

Positive experience: I thought my gson was supposed to be fitted with a crown? I left for an emergency and came back to retrieve my gson and, was told to come back again for the crown?? Didn’t tell me why and my mind was elsewhere. These ppl are always nice, cordial and professional. Everyone except the male receptionist, he has a tude and is not a good customer service person. One bad apple don’t spoil the whole bunch but, don’t rub him the wrong way, he might . . . ?

Fantastic experience: Update August 2025 Another A+ experience. This time BriAnna needed a root canal. Everyone was great. Procedure was uneventful. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!!! Update July 2025 We were back at Dental on Central for X-rays & cleaning with sedation. Can’t say enough good things about this group. They do an excellent job. Obvious that staff has the training and experience to work with individuals with special needs. We wouldn’t take our daughter anywhere else. We have a “special” daughter & she requires a “special” dentist. Over her 30 years we’ve had many dentists but none come even close to the positive care that she receives at Dental on Central. From the front office staff to the assistants & dentists her care has been exceptional. Everyone is caring, patient, professional and great at communicating with us what they are doing and why. We highly recommend Dental on Central especially if you have a loved one that requires a little extra!

Fantastic experience: Came in for two sessions of deep cleanings. Brooke was friendly, made sure I knew what was happening, and that I was comfortable. All in all it was a good experience.

Fantastic experience: I had a root canal done and I'm happy with the results. They are very professional and kind. I would recommend them.

Negative experience: Tried to schedule an appointment with endodontist twice this year, and both times they only had openings exactly two months out—no sooner at all. It’s incredibly frustrating and feels like a total joke! Makes me wonder if they are discriminating based on insurance or just have an unbelievably inefficient office. If you need timely care, look elsewhere because this place clearly can’t accommodate patients on any reasonable timeframe.

Fantastic experience: Staff were extremely helpful and nice! My daughter’s dental assurance refused to pay for her anesthesia and they appealed on our behalf. My mom had to take my daughter to her appointment due to me needing to work and unfortunately my mom was a little late to the appointment. They still performed the root canal for my daughter. My daughter’s dentist provided me with her phone number to text her if I had any questions afterwards. You can tell everyone working here cares about their patients.

Fantastic experience: Everyone here are so sweet and kind.I need to be sedated. Dr. Herro lives up to his name hero . thank you everyone taking my family and myself. I just had another appointment. Thank you for taking such good care of me in my time of need.. still love you all so much.. years later I over came my fear and didn't need full on sedation with the help of my hero Dr. Herro.

Fantastic experience: Our dental hygienist, Brooke, is amazing! The care she takes with my son is by far the best he has received at any dental office. Dental on Central will continue to be the only place for my family’s dental healthcare needs.

Negative experience: The hygenists and dentist come off amazing but their office is a mess. Way too many balls dropped and no one really knows what is going on. Whoever is the office manager needs to get a better handle on how this clinic is being ran, and if you think this is all an appropriate way to run your business, then you are not treating the special needs popluation (AND their caregivers/guardians) the way they deserve to be treated and respected. Utterly shameful.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to this dental office by a friend who works there, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. I needed an implant for one of my back molars. Still, my previous experience with another clinic involved expensive out-of-pocket costs, and my old dental insurance didn't cover implants, labeling them as cosmetic issues. After switching to a new insurance, I contacted the same clinic, but the out-of-pocket expense was still over $4K. That's when my friend recommended this dental office, and I'm glad he did. My experience has been nothing short of excellent. While the initial wait time was a bit long, the quality of care I've received has been outstanding. I now have my new tooth, and the entire process, which took six months, went smoothly without any complications. I'm confident in transferring all my dental needs to this dental office moving forward.

Negative experience: They performed a very hardcore root canal on my 16 year old son. And left him in pain. The pain medicine they gave him was100% inadequate. DON'T TAKE YOUR FAMILY HERE

Positive experience: The male receptionist was very rude and not knowledgeable in the procedures of what the clients were coming in to receive. He was very rude about rescheduling bc I was running late, called and was told to still come in that they would keep the appointment. When I got there, they decided not to accept us, I got there when I said I could get there but, they decided it was too late. The other staff were very kind and explained it all but the male, was very demeaning and didn’t explain anything. Went in today and had the best experience ever! From the receptionist (woman) to the dental hygienist to the dentist to the ppl in finance, all very, very wonderful! Great job!!!

Fantastic experience: The best dentist appointment of my life! Josephine "Joe", the dental hygienist that took care of me, is phenomenal. First off, she has 35+ years experience, but carries herself light and youthful. She is thorough and detailed like no other. Seriously, she works every tooth, is sensitive to your needs the entire time, meticulous with the instrument. But, there's more Josephine educated me on my brushing habits, flossing habits, and gave me great tips on whitening options as well. Full service, if you want top notch treatment with the down home vibe come to Dental on Central and ask for Ms. Joe. I'll speak on Dr. J next time. He's great, too, by the way, but Josephine killed it. Peace

Fantastic experience: i have been to dental on central twice for routine cleaning and they are awesome! i’ve seen jo the hygienist twice and she is WONDERFUL!! jo listens and is very kind and makes the whole experience very easy! the dentist was very friendly and never have to wait long for them to check my teeth. highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: We arrived early to my daughter's appointment and they took us right away, no waiting. My daughter is severely autistic and she felt right at ease and they were able to take the CT scan no problem. The doctor explained the possible risks and benefits of the upcoming surgery to me in a way that I could understand. I'm very happy with the whole experience.

He made me comfortable and quickly pulled my tooth. The tooth pain is gone! Thank you!!! I see Michelle every 6 months for a cleaning. She does a great job, always using covid safety precautions, painless and quick. Dr. Anthony Herro is the best dentist! Very professional and friendly staff.

Fantastic experience: From the moment you walk in, you're treated excellently. And when a person who doesn't speak English receives service in Spanish, that also reflects the professionalism of the employees.

Fantastic experience: My daughter recently had some intense dental work done at Dental on Central and I have a mixed review. The office staff needs improvement, they are not that friendly nor informative about the nature of the initial appointment we had after being referred there which ended up setting us back several weeks on her treatment. Terry Nielsen was the only one to give me clear information about anything. But once we were in the office and my daughter started treatment, things were wonderful. Dr. Waters was phenomenal with my little girl and made her feel informed about the procedure. I fully trusted her in her care. I would suggest improvements to the office staff with friendly and clear communication but the actual medical staff were great!

Fantastic experience: Very impressed by the efficient service I experienced today with my daughter, who has Down syndrome, getting her first sedation dentistry. Dr. Waters was particularly helpful and detailed in explaining the procedure. Although it took quite a while to get the appt, as paperwork and PCP/other clearances were needed, it was completely worth the wait. I was also able to schedule a lab tech (outside agency) to be there to take my daughter’s blood, which is usually a battle with her. Very relieved and 100% pleased with Dental on Central.

Negative experience: The front staff is so rude and disrespectful if it wasn’t for the Dentist & Endodontist that work here I would never go back. I took time off of work and they called me the day of my appointment saying they needed to reschedule since they didn’t realize he wouldn’t be in office that day. I get rescheduled and then couldn’t make it to the rescheduled appointment so when I called to reschedule that missed appointment all they wanted to do is argue not even trying to give a solution to the matter. Towards the end they threatened to charge me $100 for a missed appointment. Don’t waste your time with the front office staff not worth it.

Fantastic experience: My first visit to Dental on Central was pleasant. The office is very clean, the staff are very friendly and I really liked my new dentist, Dr. J. He was very thorough and good at explaining procedures and causes. As usual Dr. J and his assistant were a great team. This is a wonderful dentist office!

Negative experience: They didn't do the surgery we scheduled and I had to bring in all documents (instead of emailing/faxing ect) they did not tell me about needing a physical exam before doing the annastiesa. When I tried to reschedule the call center had me waiting for 30m then I texted the number they said to make a new appointment and they did not respond. I would never recommend. They have you jump through hoops for what?

Positive experience: They refuse to schedule my special needs son's follow up appointments. They do not respond to my voicemail or emails. I do not know if its at the dentists' requests, or if the front desk clerks have too much power in their hands, as they are unprofessional at times. They chose to be unprofessional with me. I gave them two stars because my son likes it here. Edit: they have replied to my emails. There is still delay with scheduling though.

Positive experience: Best dentist in the business. I have a extremely bad fear of dentist. And the treatment plan they made for me was flawless. Had to change my review drove all the way here to make a final payment may 2 nd 2025 at 3:49pm they were closed. Online says open till 5pm. How's this fair I'm charged late fees. Not cool
