Negative experience: 8/27 update: Dr. Andy, the hygienists and receptionists at Peppy Dental are Outstanding and deserve a 5 star rating with that said, their Insurance and the front office have issues. Per them, they are too busy to verify insurance (if you are in network or out of network) when asked. My advise to patients is that if you make any changes to insurance to make sure that the exact dentist you're seeing applies to your insurance. Do not rely on them letting you know because they won't verify even if asked! We were told that our cleanings were fully covered ($0 deductible) both before and after our cleanings just to find out that since my wife was assigned to a different dentist, she wasn't covered and was charged co-pay.

Fantastic experience: I had a crown made and from start to finish it was a great experience. Dr. Andy is so compassionate and caring. His chair side assistant was great as well. Love Peppy Dental.

Fantastic experience: I Recently experienced a problem with my teeth, and Dr. Peppy took quick action with prescribing an antibiotic and a series of appointments to remedy the situation. His professionalism and compassion for his patients is outstanding. Dr. Peppy’s assistants are thorough and caring. I have been a patient at Peppy Dental for many years, and feel very fortunate to have such high quality services in our area.

But Dr. Andy at Peppy Dental and his wonderful staff of hygienists helped me stay calm and comfortable the entire time I was there. Fantastic experience: Had to call the on call number on Friday due to tooth pain, less than a half hour and Dr. Andy called me back and helped me. Monday rolled around and he got me right in to make sure everything was ok. I have never received such great care from a doctor. He is thorough and so so friendly. Takes the anxiety of going to the dentist away. Truly the best doctor of any kind!!!

Fantastic experience: My son broke an adult tooth at school today and was a wreck. We called Peppy Dental and they got us in as soon as we could drive to the office. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating, putting both my son and I at ease. They worked efficiently and kept us informed of the process throughout the entire visit so we wouldn’t be worried. They provided us with appropriate care instructions and there was even a cleaning cancellation so they got him in for his regular teeth cleaning right then and there. I was even enjoying the music while I waited. What a fabulous first visit for us! I couldn’t be happier knowing my family is in such capable and caring hands here.

Fantastic experience: *update based on 7/29 visit* Google doesn’t allow more than one review so I will edit my past one to add to it. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I had what felt like a catastrophic dental emergency (chipping on front teeth fillings) at night. I left a message on their after hours line, probably sounding like the level of emergency was dire with how hard I was crying. I’m certain they expected for me to walk through the door missing half my teeth, based on my very panicked voicemail. I want to commend all the staff I encountered during this. The next morning I woke up to a message at 8am offering an appointment that very morning with Dr.Andy. I had lots of questions before taking the appointment to make sure I wouldn’t be paying an insane amount upon arrival and such (which I didn’t have to, phew!). The person I spoke to, Cassie (probably not the right spelling, but you know who you are!), reassured me and gave me all the info I needed. I took the appointment. I waited less than 5 minutes to be taken back and be seen by Dr.Andy and his assistant. Dr.Andy made me feel very comfortable and explained everything he was doing prior to doing it. I’ve never had a dental experience where I was encouraged so much to ask questions and ask the provider to try something else. Him and his assistant worked carefully and slowly to polish my teeth where they were jagged and allowed me to look as they worked to give them input on whether my teeth felt comfortable and were shaped the way I needed them to be. Dr.Andy’s disposition the entire time was the calmest and kindest I have ever seen a dental provider be. 10/10 for uhh… bedside manner? I feel like chair side manner is more appropriate. Either way, 10/10! We spoke about past experiences with my front teeth and how I get anxious due to them. Since when are dental providers so trauma-informed?! I loved to see it. Dr.Andy also counseled me on my options for veneers in the future. He even showed me his own and gave me a lot of info on how to do it, what to expect, and his experience in getting them. His assistant was competent and kind as well. I’m sure they had other things to tend to while I asked both of them a million questions, but they both were so patient and took time to speak with me. When I checked out at the end of my appointment I met with Cassie (again, I am SO sorry if I’m spelling the name wrong). Again, their office is BUSY and bustling. Phones ringing constantly, things being printed, people like me asking a ton of questions. She was so unbelievably kind to me even though I took up some of her time. She provided more info on the veneers situation, explained their pricing plans based on my insurance, and offered some additional resources I could look into when it comes to payment options. I apologized to her and whoever had to listen to my panicked voicemail and she was really reassuring. She didn’t make me feel like a fool, she made me feel heard and empathized with my situation. I feel I can’t truly put into words the gratitude I feel towards the staff I encountered throughout every step of this visit, so I hope my extremely long review here suffices. Each and every person I mentioned deserves a pat on the back for just being the bees knees, truly. This is how dental care should be ran. I will always go to this office as long as I have the option to do so, Peppy Dental 4 Life . ** 6 months ago ** Best dental visit I’ve probably ever had. From scheduling, checking in, the cleaning, the doctor, and then checking out this place is a 10/10. All the staff I encountered during my visit were kind, pleasant, thorough, and overall just awesome. The hygienist was excellent and took time to explain what she was doing, and the doctor was just as incredible. Front desk staff were just as great. At previous dental offices I’ve always felt that the doctor is rushed and not really listening to my concerns, but the one I saw at my appointment at this location truly listened and educated me on all my questions.

Fantastic experience: So very thankful for getting me in on an emergency basis. Front tooth killing me and worse then that, it was setting off my Trigeminal Neuralgia( if you know, you know). Been in a lot of pain, and was seen right away. Received antibiotics and a date right away for a root canal… So happy to get this done and not suffer anymore. Negative experience: I have gone to this dentist for years but today was the first time I’ve ever questioned that decision. The dental assistant today was so rude. She scolded me, spoke down to me and was extremely disrespectful. She made me uncomfortable and I very much wanted to leave. Visiting the dentist office can already increase anxiety but to have the people who are supposed to be caring for you treat you poorly, it makes the experience so much worse.

Positive experience: I’ve been going to Peppy Dental for my whole life, and was recently told that they will no longer be accepting my insurance, so I can no longer go to them. Which is very upsetting because I have always went to them and so has my family. I’ve had good and bad experiences. However, the bad experiences were with people that are no longer working there. Their new staff seems to be really nice and they are gentle and kind when doing cleanings. However, one of the doctors overfilled my cavity and After years of wear and tear, the filling broke leaving a gap between my tooth and the filling, which now has another cavity inbetween my tooth and the filling. Also, there Insurance questionnaire is not easy for Younger adults to fill out.

Fantastic experience: I was referred to the Peppy Dental Clinic by Dr. Scarpino , a dentist who specializes in gum disease and extractions. I have been to many times before and respect is opinion about whether a tooth can be saved. Dr. Scarpino took x-rays and examined the tooth and the area around it. Dr Scarpino concluded his that the tooth be be saved. He referred me to Dr. Peppy for treatment and sent them a message indicating his clinical findings. Initially, Dr. Peppy‘s office was skeptical about being able to save the tooth, especially without a root canal, but in the final analysis they proceed to fill the cavity. Dr. Tom at the Peppy clinic provided a painfree experience and results have been just as I had hoped for. Appreciate the collaboration with Dr. Scarpino and the Peppy dental clinic.

Fantastic experience: Another great experience at Peppy Dental. I lost a couple of fillings and they got me in very quickly. Dr. Andy was great as usual!! Zero pain and I was in and out in 20 minutes. Switching to Peppy Dental is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The practice is big enough to offer any service you’ll ever need, but small enough to be a ‘hometown’ office. Every member of the staff is friendly and attentive. I am not fond of going to the dentist, but everyone tries their best to make the experience as comfortable as possible. I have had cleanings, fillings and a bridge done here with no complaints. I also travel 45 minutes just to go to this specific practice. Dr.Tom really is the best!

Negative experience: Had horrible experience hear I had a procedure and could still feel the drilling and the doctor got mad at me cause he did the nerve block wrong. About a half a year later they discharged me from their practice due to me canceling a appointment because I was sick and unable to make it no chance to pay the cancellation fee no cancellations in 4 years just thrown away and have a tooth that needs a root canal and no care about it killing me or making me sick .
