Fantastic experience: My husband and I have been patients since 2006, there were several different doctors that were excellent, unfortunately they moved on to different places. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The hygienist Danielle is very good, she does an excellent job!!!

She’s very precise and time efficient but also makes sure I am comfortable. I have seen Dr. Rivera-Ramos briefly a couple of times and what a pleasant experience I have had with her also. All the staff are so friendly and lets you know upfront what your charges are not leaving you guessing. Highly recommend this office for outstanding Dental care!

Fantastic experience: I have not been to the dentist since I retired from the military in 2006 Prior to that I only used IHS dental in the village in Alaska. Both of which were terrible. I was very apprehensive due to my prior experiences. Jose and Dr Rivera-Ramos were AMAZING! Novocaine does Not work on me, never has. The dentists used to tell me that’s not pain it’s pressure. I know the difference between pressure and pain. I felt so at ease that I actually fell asleep in the chair during the procedure (no I wasn’t gassed). I asked Jose if I was snoring. He just laughed. Dr Rivera-Ramos. You are now my dentist

Positive experience: If you chose this business for dental care , know if you make a follow up appointment they will cancel it if you do not confirm the day before and the morning of. Since, I worked the day before and missed the message the morning of, even though I called to confirm an hour before, my appointment was cancelled, which I found out when I got there. They have been very good but my time is valuable and if I make an appointment I expect them to honor it without conditions.

Fantastic experience: Happy to oblige. This seems to be a very caring dental association from the doctor to other hygienist staff members. Please let me point out three outstanding people there is Josh, Tina and Jose who are at the ready to assist you. Thank you one and all. The clerical behind the desk are efficient and helpful.

Negative experience: I've never given a bad review before, but my recent experience was quite disappointing. I called this afternoon to set up an appointment, but I had to cancel before the call ended due to a misunderstanding. The representative I spoke with struggled to understand me, even though I was clearly explaining my issue. I specifically mentioned that my problem was with a tooth on the right side of my mouth, yet she repeatedly referred to the left side. It was frustrating to feel like I wasn’t being heard when addressing something important. Clear communication is essential, especially in healthcare.

Fantastic experience: Kelsea was terrific. Even the gum sockets depth measurement was smooth. Waited a minute for the dentist to look me over, but overall was less than 35 minutes in and out. I can live with that.

Fantastic experience: I've been coming here for several years for cleanings. This time it was for a chipped tooth and a broken crown. Josh and Dr. Fabulous listened and were very patient with me. They fixed me up with temporary crowns till the new ones come on. They have a great team at this office! Definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist.

Negative experience: They were very efficient and professional yet kind and friendly; at all times understanding and patient with my extreme anxiety. They took the time to listen to and address all of my concerns. They kept me comfortable and informed. Josh was a blessing to me, keeping me calm. He is a true asset to this organization. Update: second visit a different story entirely. Healing denture they talked me into was extremely expensive and does not fit. It is too wide for my mouth. It is painful and gaggy I cannot eat. It has been adjusted twice but no adjustment can make it more narrow. Also an assistant was very aggressive, following me to my car and opening my door. UNACCEPTABLE. I want a refund.

I’ve had many bad experiences with dentists in the past which deterred me from staying up to date on my dental health I am glad I won’t have that problem anymore. 10/10

Fantastic experience: After relocating from St. Petersburg to Port Charlotte I needed to find a new dentist. I found Complete Dental Care by googling the internet and researching their reviews. From my initial contact with the reception team to schedule an appointment the team has proven to be friendly and knowledgeable. I was assigned to Danielle Hunt as my Dental Hygienist with whom I couldn’t have hand picked anyone better. She is nice, professional, knowledgeable and extremely good at her job. She made me feel very comfortable, explained everything in detail in an understandable method. She did not rush through the procedures and answered all of my questions. Although I did not need the services of the dentist, Dr. Fabelo, she did introduce herself and assure I had no unanswered questions. My first impression of her is she commands the same level of satisfaction that I have from the rest of her staff. I would highly recommend this office of Complete Dental Care to anyone in need of a dentist.

From the initial exam to the completion of my deep cleaning (SRP), the entire team was professional, respectful, and efficient. I especially appreciated how they respected my concerns and preferences , and they took the time to listen and adjusted the treatment accordingly without any pressure. The SRP treatment itself was much faster . It was completed in under 90 minutes for the full mouth, and I felt well taken care of throughout the process. The staff explained everything clearly and were very gentle yet thorough. I also found the pricing to be reasonable, especially given the quality of care. They respected both my health needs and my budget, which I deeply appreciate. Highly recommend for anyone looking for thoughtful and professional dental care! Thank you again to the entire team!

Fantastic experience: Today was my first procedure at Complete Dental Care. Upon entering their office you'll immediately notice the calm and clean atmosphere. The office staff at the front desk are welcoming and provide a seamless check-in experience. Within just minutes of my arrival, my name was called and I was soon in the procedure chair. I looked around and was impressed by the pristine, sterile cleanliness and the specialized state-of-the-art professional equipment. The dentist worked seamlessly and professionally. I had a single filling and it was painless and smooth procedure. I can honestly say this is likely the cleanest and certainly the most professional Dentist in the Port Charlotte area. Update 8/2024 Still providing quality dental care and excellent technique. Update 1/2025 I went back to this location for my scheduled cleaning and was very satisfied with the service I received. The cleaning was painless and a trouble-free experience. Update: 6/2025 I had my second scheduled cleaning a few days ago, and the Dental Hygienist (Megan) was professional and thorough. Another seamless, pain-free experience at Complete Dental Care. I highly recommend this location. *Important Note: The above update will conclude my analysis of this place of business. I will update this review only if something changes regarding their level of care, or quality of services provided change or decrease in quality.

Fantastic experience: I hate, loathe, abhor going to the dentist. But Complete Dental Care made my least favorite activity a pleasant experience. My hygienist was professional, caring and knowledgeable and I had the most thorough/complete dental evaluation I’ve ever had. The staff was fantastic, the dentist was skilled, considerate and kind. The building was clean and comfortable and the service was first-rate. You can trust these folks to provide superior dental care. This place deserves a 10-star rating.

Fantastic experience: Very comfortable in the chair for hygiene appointment. Procedures conducted through the maintenance I required for teeth and gums for the past 7 years by a long time hygienist. It's all been good.

Fantastic experience: Megan my Hygienist way wonderful. She was so gentle. I dread x-rays because I have a really bad gag reflex. I did not have any issues for the first time ever. She put the apparatus in my mouth very slowly, was very careful so I was able to do it comfortably.

Positive experience: 2nd time I received a bill for Dental Care that was covered by Insurance. Both times when I called the operator said we had no balance due. He said that that happens when the insurance has not gone through when the bill was written. I then said they should notify us that the bill was no longer applicable. He said we have to call each time we get a bill - that they send no notification. Are they hoping I would just pay the bill? There must be a better way. This process is wasting our time and causing CDC unneeded calls. Now we have had another issue with billing. Overbilled on a claim and we paid this overbilling. Received our insurance and we were overbilled $144. Went into office two weeks later after not receiving credit or call. They confirmed we were owed $144 and the desk person said they don't call and don't auto issue credit. Customer must ask. WOW! Asked for credit and they said it may take up to 2 weeks. Called back after 3 weeks and person on phone stated credit was still not issued to card and manager had to call me back. Something is seriously wrong with their billing department. Waiting for call back ....

Fantastic experience: I have a partial denture that I have NEVER been happy with. I had complained to the original dentist that made it and he said it looked fine and that was the way it had to be. I felt the tooth was too big and not in line with the other teeth. Fast forward a few years and while on vacation that particular tooth broke off the partial. I called Complete Dental first thing Monday morning I was told to come right in. Tina was the first person to help me. I told her what I did not like about the broken tooth. Tina took new impressions and wrote down the things I wanted changed. She and Dr. Fabelo took great care of me and sent the partial out to be fixed. I went back up today to get the partial. To say I was thrilled is an understatement!! Everything I didn’t like about the old partial was fixed and for the first time I feel like I can smile without feeling self conscious. Thank you Tina and Dr.Fabelo I am ecstatic with how it came out!!

She is always very pleasant and just makes you feel good about the day. All of the other staff members are very pleasant and helpful and are taking all precautions since COVID-19 for both their customers and employees in my opinion. I rate them a 10 out of 10.

Fantastic experience: Went in for teeth cleaning and xrays and an exam by the dentist. The appointment was for 10:30 but the hygenist called and asked if I would like to come in early so I got there around 9:30. Cleaning, etc. went well. I had a co-pay for the visit. The hygenist was professional and explained everything that was going on and I was out the door in about and hour. Just a normal dental visit. thank you.

Negative experience: This isn't a dentist that has the patient in their best interest..they are only out for the money. Totally over priced for all their service's. My husband had temporary dentures made for a ridiculous price and the fit was terrible .was back twice to have it fixed and nothing they did made them fit better they are way to big. Then they broke in half and when called to find out do they fix them was told they would be fixed for no other cost. Made appointment was told they would be fixed by tomorrow but I would owe 50 percent of the cost to fix them..beware of this place they are only out for the money

Negative experience: One of the worst experiences of my life.... i came in to get a tooth pulled and a bone spur fixed... the day they fixed the bone spur a tooth broke right on that side... then I had to have both teeth pulled... the lady was going to do it, and I told her, I was going to smoke medical marijuana, which I have been doing since 2005... she advised me not to do that for whatever reason and told me not to leave the office. I thought I was paying her.... then they wanted me to pay for nitrous oxide, and I thought my insurance covered it, which it does... i went to call the insurance company to find out and came back and was told.I was referred out because I left the office and was told not to.... i didn't know a Dennis could make that decision and not pull my teeth and cause me. Pain and agonyBecause I went out to check my insurance because they couldn't.... now, my teeth will not be pulled for another week. And it's costing me money that it wouldn't have cost me if she just would've pulled 'em ... my anger level at this moment, it's over the roof and I feel like going to the office and giving the woman a piece of my mind and explaining how she ... so basically, she thought I went out and smoked medical marijuana, which I i've been doing since two thousand five, and for whatever reason told me she wasn't going to do it....

Positive experience: I've been using Complete dental ever since it was owned by Dr. Gaeta many years ago and have always had a good experience and great treatment. Only drawback is having to fill out the same medical history form, on paper, every single year. My solution is to automate this process in an electronic manner like most physician's offices do these days. That way it could be done online before and the patient wouldn't have to fill in repetitive info yearly.

Upon leaving a message I was called back with 24 hrs, and seen the following day! The office staff were awesome, friendly and patient. I especially loved the dental assistant Jose, he was so kind in making me feel at ease, ( he even got me a blanket because I was cold!) such a great compassionate guy. I saw Dr. Ramirez and she was very thorough, relieved my discomfort and was super efficient. Plus they took my insurance coverage which was a bonus. Negative experience: At first I went here they were very professional and nice. Dr.Ridriquez was great as far as staff sone were rude up front. I had work done two 2x and paid the total bill the 2x. I was there in November and paid to my knowledge all. I then got a letter from a collection agency for the amount of 45.00dlrs. I called, and they advised that they text me n email me. I advised her why would you put me in collections when you owe me 76.00dlrs per front girl. I'll have credit. I wanted money bk bcz I over payed anyway. I advised that I received no letter I owed bcz I would have paid if I owe. The only email and text I received was to make the appt I'm due for. I requested an itemized bill 3 weeks ago and still have not received it. I thought I found a reliable dentist but now will never go back they are overpriced and try to get every penny from insurance and you. Like I said, the doctor was great, but the service was unprofessional. I paid them even though they owed me. Choke on it.

Fantastic experience: I am terrified of going to the dentist, and I hate it worse than anything. However, I had two teeth capped and a partial fixed, and I had the best time. 2 1/2 hours in a dental chair I thought I would never make it. Dr. Fabelo, Josh, & Tina made me feel at ease and sang songs and patted my shoulder and it was just a pleasant experience! And the girls at the front desk are so sweet! Highly recommend!
