Fantastic experience: Another wonderful visit with Elegant Smiles! I came in for some fillings and the service was top notch! Shout out to Dominique for answering my questions and making sure I felt comfortable! She was thorough with her explanations and would find answers to help clarify anything I asked. Knowledgeable, kind, and efficient are the words I would use to describe her. As for Dr. McKay, he has amazing bedside manner: patient, attentive, and knowledgeable. I rally appreciated that he took the time for my questions. Everything I look for in a dentist. Both Dominique and Dr. McKay (hopefully I spelled this correctly, lol) made sure that I felt heard when I raised my nervousness around being numbed. They listened and come to find out, my procedures did not require numbing! Overall, a great dental practice with caring, knowledgeable staff. They keep you informed about procedures, listen to you, and are consistent! I recommend this place not only for procedures but for any dental upkeep. Keep up the great work and I look forward to coming back for my next check-up!

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience with Feven today during my routine dental cleaning! She was incredibly gentle, thorough, and attentive throughout the entire appointment. Every step of the process was explained clearly, and she made sure I felt comfortable the entire time. Feven's technique is meticulous yet soft, which made the cleaning surprisingly relaxing. The office was clean, well-organized, and the pricing was very reasonable—great value for such high-quality care. Feven clearly takes pride in her work and genuinely cares about her patients. I truly appreciate her professionalism, warm demeanor, and the time she took to ensure everything was done perfectly. Highly recommended! I will definitely be coming back and asking for Feven again.

Negative experience: Came to this location years ago and received cavity feelings. From the moment I received those feelings I have had issues. Left my bite uneven because the cavities weren’t shaved properly. Since then I have had multiple dentist attempt to fix them. I’ve heard from different dentist how terrible this filling was. That they weren’t properly filled which is increasing the possibility for bacteria to fill. I’ve spent 100s on getting the fillings fixed and still have some to fix. Worst derive made in life was trusting this office with my oral health.

Negative experience: I do not recommend this clinic if you value transparency, reasonable wait times, and respectful treatment. I had a terrible first experience here on June 6. Before booking, I called to confirm my insurance was in-network and scheduled a basic exam that should’ve been fully covered. 1. The nurse was friendly but very unprofessional. While I was still seated, she started cleaning my teeth with blue toothpaste, which splattered on my shirt and pants. 2. Despite having an appointment, I waited nearly 1 hour for the dentist. 3. Throughout the visit, no one informed me that certain procedures would incur additional charges. 4. The dentist also made uncomfortable comments about my previous dentist back in my home country, which felt unnecessary and unprofessional. 5. At the end, I was surprised with a $115 charge. When I asked for a detailed invoice (by myself, they only provide an invoice with the amount of charge and 0 info on it) (received June 9), I saw charges like an “oral cancer examination” I never requested. 6. called to clarify why I was charged and why no one disclosed fees upfront. They promised the dentist would call me back after lunch, but NO one ever followed up.

Negative experience: Amazing doctor with fantastic bedside manner. However, during the cleaning, the hygienist broke my permanent retainer and then made a false claim saying it was “broken when I came in.” It was not broken when I came in and it wasn’t even loose. I would’ve appreciated if she could’ve owned up to it and if the rest of the visit didn’t consist of claiming I was lying to them about the hygienist breaking it. Would’ve had zero issues if a quick apology was given and ownership was taken.

Fantastic experience: I walked out with a better smile! From my Dr. to staffing was a 10/10 I can’t wait until my next appt. Best journey I’ve been on at a dentist in a long time, they definitely are making a difference for me in Dental Care. I appreciate that.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic ⭐️⭐️⭐️. It had been 6 years since I’ve been to the dentist so i was a little bit worried. The assistant lead me to the chair and she was conversational and relaxed which put me at ease right away. Daysi was very hospitable and gentle as an aid to the dentist. Then Dr. Cuang To came in to introduce himself and we talked restaurants for about 5 min- which took my mind off the work. He went to work, gave me an exam, a cleaning, and an assessment. I needed a filling and a crown. Bummer. But Elegant Smiles went through all the costs and paperwork before they initiated any procedures. My wallet felt valued. Also, i was able to get an appointment the next day! After the filling and the crown replacement (and a drone tour of the Maldovian mountainside), i had very little to none discomfort or pain. And it was fast! I was like, “Is there a contest in the office that i don’t know about?” Haha The best part, Dr. To called me later that day to check up on me!!” I’ve never had a dentist do that. Never. It was awesome. All in all, my experience at Elegant Smiles was top notch every step of the way. I left there smiling.

Fantastic experience: Dr. McKie is the Truth!! His assistant Dominique is Amazing as well. I really appreciate them both. I came here for a 2nd opinion on my teeth. The 1st dentist I went to wanted to just extract my tooth. Dr. Mckie and Dominique were able to save my tooth and provide visible demonstrates of the impact your teeth can have in the cases of extractions and cavities. I will continue to come here. The staff are all great and inviting as well. 10/10 recommend

Kept me comfortable during the entire procedure, used technology and visualizations to explain what they were going to do for me, and worked with me on a paced payment. Dt. To (pronounced "tow") is gentle and direct with a great "bedside manner." Two technicians, Daisy and Gwen, were upbeat, efficient, and informative. The front desk staff are cheerful and welcoming, always willing to help.

Positive experience: Updated - Leaving my original post for history, but I did want to add that they reached out to me and were very apologetic. I get that people make mistakes and we rescheduled the appointment. Just had it the other day and, beside me having a cavity (which is MY fault), the appt went very smoothly. I'm glad they reached out and I plan to continue using them as my dentist moving forward. (2 stars) They're fine when they keep your appointment. Very frustrating, however, when they call to put you on the calendar and you show up and you're not actually on the schedule.

At the beginning of the session, they let me know additional services that could be provided with clear pricing. I did not feel pressured with the options. Additionally, I was provided with pros and cons of each option. The appointment was helpful and time efficient. The provider was patient to answer my questions and gave thorough responses. I was very pleased and would definitely recommend.

They truly do care and I was a last-minute appointment and they still treated me as if I was the first person that came there. Negative experience: Don't recommend. Went for a cleaning here and was dissatisfied with the experience. Pros: Making an appointment online and filling out the required forms was easy. Staff were polite and pleasant. Cons: There are multiple, gigantic televisions that they used to try to sell me on unnecessary "cancer screening" x-rays, but there was no kind of professional dental lighting that you expect to see. There was a television on the ceiling, which is cool and all, but not what I think a medical provider should be prioritizing. When the Dr. To came to do my exam, he turned off the overhead lights, and used the lights on his glasses to do the exam. When he finished and the hygienist started polishing my teeth, the room was still dark and she had to stop and flip the overhead lights on again. She was also standing above me while she did it, as opposed to sitting. She then proceeded to cut my gum with the polishing tool. I presume it was a combination of not having ample light and the fact that she was not seated while using a power tool in my mouth. The order of the cleaning was unusual and did not feel thorough. Halfway through, they randomly took a 3D scan of my teeth. It wasn't explained why they did this, just that it wouldn't cost me anything. I assume it was to sell me on Invisalign. I was never offered any additional treatment related to the cleaning that I was there for, like a flouride treatment. The co-pay that they showed me for the fillings that I needed was excessive. I went elsewhere (Chamblee Dental Care in Chamblee) and paid half as much. Even if the cost had been reasonable, I would not have felt comfortable with them performing an actual procedure.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic experience, especially when they took care of my necessary treatments same day which was a real time saver. They took the time to ensure all treatments had a good cosmetic appearance. The facility looks nice and new and was very clean.

Fantastic experience: This was truly a 5-star experience from check-in at the front desk, to my initial exam with Dominique, to the full evaluation with Dr. Mckie. Dr. Mckie was incredibly patient and gentle, and he thoroughly answered all my questions. I had additional questions about cosmetic options, and Dr. To took time to give me an impromptu consultation. I've been to several dentists in Atlanta, and this has by far been my best experience. I will certainly be back and would without hesitation refer others to Dr. Mckie and the overall practice.

Fantastic experience: First time in my life I did not pushed for the treatment plans. No one tried to tell me anything. Dr To and Gwen were very friendly and kept me not going in the panic mode. Going to dentist is my least favorite place, but this was good experience.

Positive experience: The staff/doctors are nice but the communication needs to be tweaked. I received multiple texts confirming the appointment I scheduled, but they were mixed in with promotional messages about giveaways, a location change, and other reminders. It’s tedious to read every message carefully just to find the one sentence saying ‘reply with C to confirm.’ To make things worse, I still received messages afterward saying my appointment was ‘reserved,’ which made it seem like everything was set. Then, just an hour before my appointment, I was told it was canceled because I hadn’t confirmed. If confirmation is required, it needs to be clearly communicated upfront—not buried in a long message or mixed with other texts. Right now, it feels like a last-minute rug pull. Going to the dentist is stressful enough without this kind of confusion.
