Negative experience: Great sales pitch…seemed knowledgeable UNTIL they claim they have financing options which was our top concern up front. This place is misleading and COMPLETELY clueless if you require financing. We are 740+ scores with no credit issues. Sent over three “top options”. (claimed 6-10% options common…LOL) Two were literally credit cards…the other “not currently reviewing applications”. I now have two credit cards on way that I have to cancel, two hits to my credit, have received over 100 telemarketing calls, and wasted time. Hope You Do better…should be embarrassed…this was a HORRIBLE misleading experience. Just be honest... UPDATE: Called office 7/10 as requested...Confirmed..YES.. correct office. All good...maybe this was a fluke??...giving benefit of the doubt. Although gal in office confirmed finance companies. Can't let this slide...just too far over the top and needs addressed for sake of future clients.

Fantastic experience: I would give ten stars if I could! The office has a very cool downtown atmosphere. Scheduling was able to get my follow up visit very quickly due to time constraints that I had. Sharee is the best. I had a periodontal cleaning and she was extremely thorough yet gentle. Cari was very helpful getting my insurance payment sorted out and arranged getting the Clear Correct process started for me. I can't wait to go back again!

Since the 1st appt that I had I was treated with the most amazingest care I couldn't have imagined. On May 14th 2025 I went in for my fitting of my night mouth guard and pretty much my last appt and it went very well . I'm totally Thankful for everyone that helped me at North End Dental and I'm very grateful for the Brand New Smile that Dr Hill has Blessed me with, he's an Excellent Dentist and I highly recommend that if your tired of those dentures and your looking around to get your" SMILE BACK" Please look at going to them , you will not regret it, I promise you !!!

First of all Quinn for costantly texting me for over a 6 month or more while I was traveling to continue to find a way to make this happen. To Susana for many things but mostly making this happen financially for me. To Mauro whom I spent most of my time with and was so gently and informative of the process to me and really did a good job on my temps and making me comfortable. To Dr. Umphlett who is so awesome and communicates extremely well of the process. Is so understanding of the longevity of the process and was so good a giving breaks. She really puts passion into her work. She makes special attention that I am comfortable with the process and the outcome. I would also like to thank Laura for being so nice to me upon entry and exit. And also to Josie whom in the background gets the most out of my insurance. I am so happy at this point with my new implants. They look natural.

Fantastic experience: I came and got implants a year and half ago, it was like they were old friends and I have a beautiful smile. But I have a friend who has cancer in the mouth and 9 major surgeries she hasn’t eaten solid food in over years. The doctors tell her nothing but run her and there. Today she seen Dr. Hill and for once in 2 years she has hope to be able to eat again. This was a special day and I love these guys. Thank you Dr. Hill and the cool guy Quinn.

Fantastic experience: The staff, from clerical and technical to professional, are excellent. I was treated respectfully, with the extractions carried out with as little pain as possible. Over the course of several months, the temporary sets were increasingly more to my liking, both in comfort, fit and appearance. By the time my mouth had healed sufficiently for my permanent set, I was definitely ready for them. Be very explicit with what you need and want for the best overall outcome.

Negative experience: Not a good doctor's office only in it for money. And they're not very good.. said they accepted at no insurance they sure did took $200 from them. Then took $200 from me to glue a crown back on a tooth a 30-minute procedure. Would not advise anybody to use Northside Dental.

Fantastic experience: The staff at NED is friendly and professional. With each step of my visit I was greeted with a smile and told what would be happening next. Upon checkout, I was presented with several options for next steps. Communication was clear and the was no pressure to make decisions. It was a smooth, efficient, pleasant experience.

Fantastic experience: During a routine cleaning last month Dr. Umphlett, she recommended that I talk with Dr. Hill about placing 2 implants. I didn't think it would even be possible since those teeth have been missing over 30 years. But Dr. Hill suggested we build the bone back up and then it would be possible. I went in yesterday, and even with my anxiety about dental visits in general, I was able to get through the appointment with just an injection. Dr. Hill is amazing. I never imagined I would be able to fix that area and just gave up thinking I would never really be able to chew on that side of my mouth. If you are suffering with anything, please go try this office. They are great and are fixing issues I just thought I would have to live with. Their entire staff is awesome. And Dr. Hill can really work some miracles.

Fantastic experience: I’m a new patient and was welcomed like I was a regular! It was a very thorough new patient exam and cleaning. Pete-ie saved the day by getting my cleaning done as well as the new patient exam. Allie did a great job with the cleaning and the Doc was also great and she answered any questions I had as well as prioritizing my ‘issues’ for the future. All in all, it was a great experience by a crew that actually care about the patients and your experience there. 5*****!!

Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff, devoted to what they do with implants . Quinn especially was kind and tried everything to be helpful. Unfortunately, due to no one's fault but my own, I didn't qualify for financial assistance so that dream bubble popped pretty quickly. But, if you can find a way to make it work and you are interested in dental implants this IS definitely the place to go!

Fantastic experience: Five star dental care service for sure from front desk to dental hygienist to Dr. Umphlett. I am absolutely an admitted dentist’s nightmare not to go into detail but I’m 53 years old and have PTSD from horrible dentistry as a child. I feel horrible when the Dentist feels my stress like Dr. Umphlett did this morning and every previous time she has seen me. But this morning when she asked if I was annoyed with her I really wasn’t and felt horrible for making her feel this way I was just ready to be finished with the amazing work she did for me over the last month. Because of my severe anxiety with dentists. I’m so sorry if I offended you today but you did an amazing job and I’m really sorry I annoyed you. You do have a great ability to make a person like me feel more comfortable than you think in the dentist chair. Thanks and sorry Mike

Fantastic experience: Amazing dentist and I am overly picky. Cares about my well being and finances. I can’t say enough good things about their care. I have a feeling I’ll being going to their office for many years to come. If you have high anxiety or are sensitive to pain, this is this office for you 100%. Work with Monica to get the best financing deal if necessary. Abby was phenomenal and she is one of their hygienist. Dr. Hill made me feel very comfortable and I look forward to working with her with the work I need done. I got a few estimates and their office not only had the best bed side manner, they had the best deal.

Fantastic experience: They took me back at my 9:00 appointment and we were done in about an hour. Like the hygienist and dentist. Very good at explaining things. I would like to see the office install a secured bike rack, I’m not comfortable locking my $1,500 e-bike to a bench.

Fantastic experience: I scheduled an implant consultation with Dr. Hill after consulting with several other dentists. Dr. Hill and his staff were thorough friendly and conscientious. Dr. Hill, who likely performs more dental implant procedures than any other dentist in Colorado Springs, explained the entire process to me in great detail. He patiently answered all of my questions. Originally, I intended to seek additional opinions; however, I am now confident in choosing Dr. Hill and his staff for my procedure. If you are considering a dental implant, your search is over, I highly recommend Dr. Hill and his team. They provide outstanding, five-star service.

Negative experience: Aesthetics are great, dentist was awesome, dental hygienist doesn’t know how to manage her time. Every minute (literally) she would stop and ask if I was okay. I had to KEEP telling her, “please keep going I’ll tell you if I need a break, I want to get this over with”. An hour and a half later my teeth were finally done being cleaned. And no, my teeth are not horribly dirty. I get my teeth cleaned regularly and brush twice a day and have never had a cleaning take almost two hours. I have bad dental anxiety and her taking so long made me more and more anxious every second I was in that chair. She made my anxiety worse, plus the nitrous DID NOT WORK. Then after my cleaning they surprised me with a $250 bill because they failed to mention day of appointment that my insurance was actually not in network. Had I known before hand, I would not have even sat in the chair. Worst hygienist experience I have ever had and unfair business practices for failing to disclose and offer a “good faith estimate” and confirm pricing before the cleaning. But hey, if you like the toilet seat warmers it might be worth it to go and pay the $250 for a cleaning, WHEN YOU HAVE INSURANCE. (That’s sarcasm, I wouldn’t come here if I were you). I wasn’t going to leave a review but they keep hassling me to. So here it is.

Fantastic experience: As a new patient from April 2024 and since then, my experiences at Northend Dental have always been positive. The front staff are always friendly and know who I am the moment I walk in the door & check me in before I even step up to the counter. My hygenist, Alley, is especially nice, gentle, and does a great job with my cleanings, sharing issues and improvements she sees along the way. She's personable and has created a friendly yet professional connection with me. My dentist is Crystal Umphlett. She's friendly, professional, and was very thorough during my new patient exam. She checks in occasionally when Alley or I have a question about my teeth. Although I'm used to having my dentist check in at each cleaning appt. from other dental offices I've been with, I'm adjusting to the 'as needed' approach from this office. The clinic has 3 dentists, is small on the outside but the inside is modernized yet very comfortable and inviting and they use all the latest dental technology. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone seeking a new dentist near the center of downtown Colorado Springs.

Fantastic experience: I transferred to North End Dental after my dentist of 15 years closed up shop. Not expecting to find an equal to them, I went with Google ratings to find a dentist still relatively near my home which resulted in North End Dental as my first attempt. When I went to them it was a BULLSEYE ON THE FIRST TRY!!! I'm so very happy with everything this office has done since beginning with them years ago; it's even an improvement over my old dentist's office when it comes to the administration and billing staff. They're so modern and up to date with technology that communicating with them is so conveniently 'on my schedule', and their communications to me >help me< make it easier to keep my dental schedule synch'd with all the other crazy things happening in my life. As for their dental services, they were great too! Crowns and fillings have been very good since the doctors and staff have always been so patient with my pain tolerance and didn't second guess me when I indicated I needed more numbing -- what a tremendous relief!! Now I'm simply not so scared to have more dental work done in the future because I know they'll take the right amount of time at the beginning of the appointment to get me thoroughly numbed before beginning the procedure -- then I can really relax and let these good folks get my precious teeth fixed. *YAY!* I've also been very impressed by their hygienists which seem to do a more thorough job than I've had at past dentist offices. In particular, all of North End Dental's hygienists really seem to >study< hygiene to stay on top of current practices and products. So much so that I've now begun to have real discussions about at-home cleaning with them because they offer such great and practical advice. Carrying through with their advice at home, I believe it's made a real difference in reducing the number of fillings and such I later need. Regarding their good hygienists, I really like A. Baker who recently started with them. She's impressed me with her cleaning skills, being very attentive to my pain levels while also being very thorough, and also with her knowledge about hygiene. I have greatly enjoyed talking with her about hygiene and she's taught me a lot that I can do at home. I'm looking forward to more appointments with her! Bottom line: I've found my new dentist office for the next 15+ years and it feels like having a virtual 'safety blanket' in life all over again! ...and isn't that what you want too?? /two thumbs-up and a big toe...! ;-)

Positive experience: Great cleaning, love my dentist, Dr. Moore. The scheduling person was very aggressive and demanded payment weeks before the needed procedure. Is this the new normal? Does everyone have to Prepay for dental procedures? I'm insured, usually the claim is sent to insurance then a bill is sent. She says this is the policy. I refused to prepay, she did me a favor and allowed me to have an appointment.

Fantastic experience: Ive been suffering with dental anxiety. I want to say, everyone, from the front to the Dr, to the billing agent were transparent, and Extremely nice and caring. After some bad experiences with Comfort Dental and some Dr on Zoc-Doc, I think I’ve found my dental home. They have a plan and we are starting soon.

Fantastic experience: I came to North end Dental four years ago now and it's been great! The staff and technicians are friendly, professional and always seem to be happy. Dr. Moore has been my guy since 1998ish and I'm thankful my mother found him. It's funny now I actually look forward to my cleanings.

Fantastic experience: It all started with Chrissy, she made me feel that there could be hope for a better life. No she didn’t promise me anything, she only listened and made me feel cared about instead of a dollar sign. When I got to the office, they took me in for my x-rays two hours before my actual time. Fantastic experience: I am a fearful dentist patient. This place has made my experience much less fearful. The kindness & thorough attention is amazing from this dentist. He helped me feel so comfortable and unashamed about my missing teeth and gum disease. They are willing to work with me and are very patient with me as it seems to take me a few months to return. I have much anxiety about the dentist office, especially with no dental insurance. The ladies at the front desk are so friendly & courteous. The office has a very relaxed feel and no condemnation about the poor condition of my mouth. Instead, nothing but assurance that they can help me and we can take it as slowly or as fast as I want or can afford. The dentist really took his time with me and it allowed me to feel not rushed. I would highly recommend this dentist whether you just need routine care or higher level of care as my teeth & gums require. This place has felt like a 2nd home to me and I have nothing but anxiety over the dentist office. This place has acknowledged my anxiety and they don't try to push it aside but instead work with it and with me. I greatly appreciate that.

Fantastic experience: I had a crown put on my tooth today, and as with other crowns from this dentist, it's perfect. Dr Moore is the only dentist I will let touch my teeth, and I have been going to him for more than 20 years. Dental assistant Toyan was also great and very professional. I love these guys!

Fantastic experience: Dr Moore installed a crown on my new “experimental” dental implant in about 1991. Shortly after that, I moved away from the Colorado Springs area. Recently, (April 2024) this crown began feeling a bit loose. Since the crown and implant were so old (obsolete?), my local dentist was unsure of the hardware configuration, and dental records from that long ago were seeming unavailable. I was able to locate Dr. Moore and I was very happy and relieved to find that he was still practicing. However, he was no longer at the same office and he also did not have the “ancient” dental records available. I made an appointment with Dr. Moore, traveled to Colorado Springs, and upon looking at the crown, he quickly identified the hardware and addressed the problem. There’s nobody that I would trust more than Dr. Moore to care for this dental implant and crown.

Fantastic experience: I was greeted with a brand new hygienist after check in. She had just been at North End Dental a week. It would have been nice if someone had called to let me know that my regular hygienist was no longer with the practice. She was amazing. Allison was our new hygienist and she too was amazing. This is why I have given a 5 star. I have always had wonderful service at North End Dental. Allison listened to some things that the former Hygienist had done and was very acceptable to those as well as her own touch. She did a wonderful job cleaning my teeth. She is a wonderful addition to North End Dental. WELCOME!!!!! Please don't loose that customer service. I owned my own business for 15 years. I sold it in 2018. Customer service is so very important. It is lacking in todays businesses.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Hill and Dr. Umphlett are so amazing along with all of their hygienists and office staff! After searching for quite a while for a new dentist we finally found North End Dental, I just wish we would have found them sooner! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: First of all, I would like to share my experience with North and dental. I was welcome from the minute. I walked in that door and every time from then on I really appreciate all the staff and the doctors that worked on me were amazing. I will recommend this place 100% thank you all and if you want to get such beautiful work like I did go to North End dental.
