Fantastic experience: This was a great experience for my toddler. This was her first time at the dentist. They were very nice, gentle and patient. Laura, the dental hygienist explained every stepped before actually doing it, my daughter was able to get a cleaning and exam. In addition, the dentist, Dr. R was a kind. She answered all my questions. The only thing is she seemed to be on the move. Besides that the overall experience was GREAT!

Negative experience: After 20 year because my oldest daughter no longer attended this dental office two I brought both of my children to be insulted and no longer too attended their Pembroke Pines office because the dentist stated she wanted too cut my sons wire which I agreed to then after I ask she told me she not his orthodontist my response to her was I knew who his orthodontist is and she still was trying to explain and my facial expressions is how I disrespected her but the office manager didn’t speak to me just handed me the paperwork to transfer but I was already planning too transfer my kids because they suck and don’t know how to explain or address people the office and hospitality isn’t the same over the years the staff need to be taught and groomed

Negative experience: I prefer not to write too much detail on a public platform but as a mom and a human, I am beyond disappointed. Unfortunately, they bill everything and MORE to your insurance to ensure that they use up all that is available. Additionally, they claimed that my son had 8 cavities and when I visited a new dental office a week later, it was in reality 4. The new dental office had to quote me for another cleaning (after one week) because the cleaning at American Pediatric Dental Group was not done correctly. The new dental office showed me the plaque build up that was still present. Due to American Pediatric Dental Group and their lack of service, I had to pay out of pocket at the new office since they had already used all of the available insurance for the year. Disheartened to say the least.

Negative experience: Went there with my kids yesterday. There seems to be a new dentist lady that asks too much questions on things that don’t relate to teeth. She should remember that she isn’t a pediatrician she is a dentist. She could barely answer my questions I had about my kids teeth. Overall, next time I go there I don’t want her working on my kids teeth at all. She will be dismissed.

Negative experience: I see so many nice reviews here, well that was NOT my experience with this office, If I could give 0 stars to this office, I would but I have to put 1 star which Doctor Roula does not deserve, this lady is not fit to work with kids, she is rude and with incredible lack of respect. She is a problem, she treated us like she didn’t want to do her work, she told me to reschedule the appointment like 4 times! They claim on their website that they are kind and they even work with kids with special needs, specifically her; in her bio it says that she have experience with children that have sensory issues, like my son based on my experience, IT IS NOT TRUE! She doesn’t have any grade of compassion in fact I think kids do bother her from what I saw. My son had an appointment to do some fillings, to start she came 20 minutes late for the appointment, that’s okay it didn’t bother, when they start to prepare my kid, she got mad because, yes my child is a gagger and he has sensory disorder, which I explained to her assistant, but after only 2 attempts to put the mouth prop on my child’s mouth she got mad and gave us an attitude that I don’t appreciated it, she made my kid more nervous, she works with kids for crying out loud! and then she said that she can not do it and I needed to reschedule another appointment, so why they said that the used sedation to calm the kids on their website? I had to suggest to used the laughing gas, because I didn’t want to wait any longer since I waited 3 months for this appointment to do the filling, and she replied “ohhh yes, I forgot about it, and she told her assistant to put the laughing gas for 5 minutes, turns out that those 5 minutes became 50 minutes!!! I was so frustrated and my son, started to complain that he wasn’t feeling very well anymore, I asked her assistant how much longer and he said “ohhh she just need to see 2 more patients! WHAT?! That was so disrespectful, she totally disregarded and left my son with that gas on for 50 minutes, finally after my son complained her assistant was kind enough to turn off the gas, when she came back and found my son without the gas, she shurgged and gave a nasty attitude saying that we needed to reschedule, she not only was so disrespectful, she wasted our time, I left the office so frustrated and disappointed with my kid with headache, feeling dizzy and guilty for the way she talked to him, and with cavities. After all that, I called another pediatric dentist office to get a second opinion and turns out that my son DOES NOT HAVE 4 cavities like she said it is only 1, so this Doctor LIED!!! She was putting my kid with all that stress and time for of course MONEY! I am taking my son to another office where they are kind and patient with kids, and most importantly they treat us with respect and they are not greedy trying to steal our money. In someway I’m greatful this happened, who knows in the future what else could she lie about just to charge for more treatments that my son doesn’t even need. This shouldn’t have happened to us or anyone. Good riddance!

Negative experience: I called American Pediatric Dental Group - Pembroke Pines, located at 10021 Pines Blvd, Suite 100, Pembroke Pines, FL 33024, on May 13th at 4:18 PM, and had a very disappointing experience. The person who answered the phone, Victoria, was extremely unprofessional and clearly uninterested in the conversation. She was dismissive, unhelpful, and made it feel like my questions were a bother. This kind of attitude is unacceptable — especially from a pediatric dental office, where patience and communication should be a priority. I will not be returning and do not recommend this location to other parents.

Negative experience: HORRIBLE! They cancelled my son’s appointment although I sent the confirmation AND filled out the form. We get there and they tell me they cancelled the appointment because I didn’t confirm on the phone and they tell me the doctor left at 12:16. This place is ridiculous and I am done with them. I DO NOT recommend!!!

Negative experience: Horrible! Once I found out that my daughter’s insurance wasn’t covered they offered me the cash price and I decided to stay and pay out of pocket ( even if you check in on line they don’t check your insurance). I went… the assistant was great and patient with my daughter but only brushed her teeth. Before my daughter went in they told me that I can pay $99 for a cleaning with X-rays and paperwork however they only brushed her teeth and told me afterwards that they would not do the X-ray. I tried to ask the dentist about the inquiry but she told me she didn’t know and that my daughter didn’t need X-rays and to pay in the front. My daughter missed a day of school and only got her teeth brushed And they told me that it’s still $99 which I paid with apprehension. I asked why didn’t they do the other services and they said that it wasn’t necessary but I still had a I pay. I am very upset and overwhelmed because I feel like they cut my visit short only because my daughter is autistic and they didn’t wanna deal with her but all and all I paid $99 for them to only brush her teeth!!! I am disgusted and disappointed!!

Negative experience: Its always the same excuse “ I called you-but I have no missed calls or messages or text messages from office” is it too difficult to call or message so you don’t make your kids miss school or assignments or even worse tests.. if they only knew how basic its to call from a office to let parents know , your child don’t need to come , we made this appointment because of something we fixed last time already. The last time they canceled appointment because they need like 5 times to confirm or they will CANCEL appointment and they on top of that but I am really mad they made me come all the way here and it was a mistake appointment. But they do follow you to confirm 5 times your appointment.

Negative experience: Very disappointed I come to this office for 15 years 4 children and after this time and awesome service always , I have this Dr JOEL FRAND with the last year was always in a bad mood and very rude in his answers but I was always nice and not paying attention until today , he does not let kids have volume in the screen on ceiling while treat them because bother him , I asking a question looking for alternatives because we keep comeinh back for same problem ( asking nice ) and he start yelling at me telling me he already told me something and he said you don’t understand , I belive as a mother I have the right to ask him and he should be kind to answer he also rave his voice to me telling me we live in America and that’s the way he is , I feel he is in the wrong place , he talk to my daughter in a rude way and to me too , the assistant was amazing making us feel comfortable and exploten after he left the same thing In a kind way , also the manager trysha was very nice like everybody else in the office , I felt sad an I felt he was very rude to us . I will keep coming back but making sure not with him . When we work with kids we should have love , empathy , communication something this Dr does not have

Negative experience: Had an appointment for 12:30 PM we were called to see if we can come in earlier Then our original appointment and we did. We arrived at 12:16 PM and the receptionist said they could not see us because we passed our 15 minute grace period. So clearly, the doctor had left before the 15 minute grace period was up since they were not in the office. This is unacceptable customer service. Just because The dentist wanted to leave early on a Saturday does not give them permission to move my appointment and then not attend me when I still arrived early. This place gets ZERO stars but unfortunately, I have to give a one.

Negative experience: The doctor acted professionally, but the person in charge of cleaning was neither patient nor pleasant. Although they claim to be experts in managing various behaviors, their actions today did not demonstrate that expertise. The cleaner often made faces, suggesting that he was neither engaged nor passionate about his work, which detracted from the cleaning experience. Customer services should be a priority in any type of business.

Negative experience: Very terrible experience today. I took off from work to take my daughter to her appointment just for them to tell me they couldn’t do my daughter cavity filling just because she was crying. It’s ridiculous when since that’s was the reason to cancel an appointment. Also the staff on the front desk ( the black girl ) with the nappy hair had a bad attitude problem and she shouldn’t even have a job. Very unprofessional. Had I known they cancel appointments due to children crying I would have never taken off work. Very nasty and disgusting office. Even the doctor that seen my daughter didn’t even acknowledge me and she had the audacity to cancel the appointment due to my 4 year old crying.

Fantastic experience: I give the dentist 5 stars she had a very light hand and spoke to my daughter and made her more comfortable during the procedure. My only bother was I went for first visit which was my daughter’s first time there. They gave me a print out of what she needed I agreed and made a follow up appointment. When we got there for that follow up a young lady came in telling me the head dentist did not agree with the first dentist that gave me the initial quote and now my daughter needed double the price of dental work. As a business owner we consider this BAIT AND SWITCH but hey what can I say other than I should have went to school for dentistry.

Negative experience: I like the work of the doctors and the hygienist, but these women they have at the front of the office answering phones, making calls and check in and out are very rude and unprofessional.... I have never met a set of women that have no ethics or professionalism.... I dread taking my children here because I dislike having to deal with them, but I actually like the work that is done on my children, I just think the front desk people are rude and need customer service training. I get to the appt Friday just for the so call front manager to tell me they couldn't see one of my children that day after the associate that called me two days prior confirmed that I was able to bring both my children at 11:30am. The manager off back took up for her worker, claiming she was present when the worker called me that the worker did not say that. I must be delusional because why would agree to keeping an appointment if you couldn't see both my children? Why would I come in with both my children ? Children that could have been attending school at that. Especially my 5 year old who is in VPK and you can not miss days. I considered myself to be a very loyal person and when it comes to my children I am very over the top, so for her to try to say I was lying was beyond me. Then when I asked for someone over her, she gave me a bogus email because I immediately emailed the so call person Nicole Quinones and as of yet today, Monday 11/25 I have not received a response. That was Friday 11/22. The only person I have respect for in that office is the gentleman that took me and my children to the back. He was kind, as usual because he is often present when my children and I go for appointments and he always has the same mannerism. The rest of them, especially the manager is very unprofessional and makes the company look horrible. In the end, I see why they lied and said they couldn't see both my children because upon walking out, I noticed they had like a company holiday get together picking names out of a jar (probably a secret Santa) and wanted to shut down at a certain time. Well then, that is what the associate that called me two days prior should have said. Not that she needed me to bring my children both at 10:30am, after having them both booked separately for months 10:30am and 11:30am - an hour apart. But her excuse was they were going to be seen together, which is again not true because they have never been seen together. They are always seen one after the other. Very disturbed that as of today, no one has still not reached out to me, but a company like this usually slowly deteriorates when they don't seem to put their customers first. You wouldn't be open without your customers. They forget that part, obviously. Great Kudos to the guy in the scrubs and I hope his career flourishes beyond this company because great people like that shouldn't work for companies like this. Very poor service from both the staff and Dr. I was literally in the room for my child to be seen when the Dentist came in for 2 minutes before he apologized that he had other patients to see and left out of the room. If ur looks for a dentist that will have time to answer ur questions and show interest in ur child dental issues, I suggest u looks elsewhere.

Negative experience: Terrible experience. Went for a cleaning and consultation with my 6 year old and the doctor came in rushing. Took no longer than 4 mins to tell me he had 6 cavities and sent me out to get my quote and book his appointment for the cavities, ended up going to another doctor which took the time to see everything and my son had NO cavities. Honestly worst experience EVER!! It’s all about the money with them. Until this day they keep calling to book appointments when I have requested many times to be taken off the list by phone and text! Fantastic experience: After 3 visits we came across Natalie the hygienist who was the most patient person perfect for my three year old son. She gained his trust with her persuasive tactics to get him to feel comfortable with what was going on and the tools she was using. She made it fun for him and he laughed more than cried. Negative experience: Excellent! My first time there and it was the best experience I ever had at doctors office. I did not wait long, the dental asst was so friendly and patient with my 6 year old and the front desk staff was also super friendly. Office was clean and very busy but everyone was being attended. Definitely recommend! Update: they went from being the best to the worst. They cancelled my appt because I didn’t reply to their confirmation texts. First text didn’t require a reply. I didn’t bother to read the following reminders which I see I needed to reply to. I called within 5 minutes and my appt spot filled and they don’t have anything for a month. Meanwhile I wanted to take my son too.. it was a great first experience. I guess make sure you reply to EVERY reminder sent, even if you’re busy at work.

Positive experience: I have no problem with their care but what i do have a problem with is their appointments..my daugther need cavaities filled ...wait all summer for a September 5th ..filled only too cavaties.. Then gave her another appointment on November 22 @ 10am.. she thought it was thanksgiving weekend so i called to change it to a 5:30pm appointment..Can you believe they gave me December 30th...so far away...i got very upset..i really believe they need to schedule patients that need return work right away..not a whole 6 months...i took it because she is a freshman in highschool and she do not need to miss schoolto go to the dentist...Anyone agree or have had the same situation??

Negative experience: Super horrible customer service, I am never able to speak to any one when I call. All I get is either voice mail or they will call back and never do. I have to physically go in the office just to change appts but to send emails and call me when my payment is due they are on top of it. I wouldn't recommend this place to any one DONT DO IT

Fantastic experience: We had a phenomenal experience at APDG Pines. Starting with the Front desk staff they were very welcoming. This visit was very successful because my son sat on the dental hygiene chair by himself and completed his entire routine visit with a smile. Our assistant Wenddy was amazing , she made him feel very safe and she was very gentle and Dr. Roula was very nice, informative and gentle as well. As we know young kids can be afraid of the dental instruments, they helped him feel very comfortable and proud of that he did it all by himself. And of course, at the end of the visit, he was rewarded with a take-home hygiene goodie bag. Thank you ADPG PINES, We greatly appreciate you!

Negative experience: Horrible. We had an appointment for 10:30am which they took it upon themselves to cancel it; supposedly because no one picked up the appointment reminder call the day before. Then they told me to wait 30 minutes to get in which I did and 45 minutes afterwards the waiting room was still completely filled and was at least a two hour wait minimum.

Fantastic experience: I took my 4year old here and the staff was so welcoming I felt very comfortable with the attention they gave my kid the doctor was soo patient and professional and listened to all my concerns I would recommend to all parents that are looking for a good doctor and family like environment to bring their little ones !

Negative experience: Before scheduling my first appointment the ladies at the front desk said they were in network. Trusting them, I went for my first visit. Later, when the bill came, for a routine cleaning, I am having to pay them $149. Routine cleanings should be covered 100% by my plan. I will not be coming here again. Even if they become in network. Looking back at my first visit, the front office was very unprofessional, I can see why they lead me astray. I attached the billing.

Negative experience: Waited for over 1 hour and 30 mins for a prescheduled cavity appt they finally let us in and said they can’t do the cavity treatment they can only do a cleaning and tried to give me another appt a month out. We had been waiting for this appt for 9 months! They wouldn’t accommodate nor do the treatment. Waste of time this is the second time they do this. Complete waste of time. Very disorganized and ridiculous wait time. Definitely never taking my kids again.

Positive experience: My appt was at 5pm, I waited 45 min. The technician did her work, ok, but the dentist last less than 5 min checking my child teeth. Just shooting air. End then she left. That's it. Didn't tell me anything.

Fantastic experience: My kids love it here! Most kids dread going to the dentist but the associates and hygienists make it a pleasurable experience. The front desk girl is always so helpful and flexible with appointments that fit around our busy work schedules. I also appreciate that the wait time and actual appointment move quickly. Negative experience: Pines location has no love or patience’s for kids. They literally just do everything aggressively and don’t try to calm down the kids. I recommend Doral 1000% , NOT PINES.

Fantastic experience: Unique today has been nothing but beyond fabulous with my daughter. My youngest daughter had a bad experience here but Unique had ,so much patience and was very caring.

Negative experience: I had the absolute worst experience at American Pediatric Dental Group in Pembroke Pines FL. From the moment we walked in, it was a nightmare. The waiting area was filthy, with toys scattered everywhere and visibly dirty surfaces. We had an appointment scheduled, but we ended up waiting for over an hour past our scheduled time without any explanation or apology. The staff were incredibly rude and unprofessional. The receptionist was more interested in her phone than helping us, and when I asked for an update on our wait time, she snapped at me. The dental assistants were equally unpleasant, showing no patience or kindness towards my anxious child. It was clear they had no experience dealing with children, let alone making them feel comfortable. When we finally saw the dentist, it was a disaster. Dr. Roula Yazaji was brusque and dismissive, showing no empathy or understanding. My child was terrified, and instead of trying to calm them down, the dentist just rushed through the exam, barely explaining what he was doing. To top it all off, the equipment looked outdated, and the overall hygiene of the place was questionable at best. We left with my child in tears and a hefty bill that didn't even match the poor service we received, when at first, we were told that UHC was accepted. I would never recommend American Pediatric Dental Group in Pembroke Pines FL to anyone. It's clear they have no idea how to handle pediatric patients, and their lack of professionalism and cleanliness is appalling. Avoid this place at all costs!

Positive experience: I always enjoyed bringing my daughter hair until maybe the staff or the management has changed they're trying to say now that there's a policy where you cannot make appointments if you've been no show three times which they're saying I am all the way back to like January which I think is silly cuz that hasn't happened and the staff got a lot more short and rude but I don't have a choice but to bring her here

Positive experience: We were referred to the PPines office by our family dentist who suggested we take our little one to a specialist. (Pediatric). Registration and appointment making was easy. Front desk, phone staff were kind and helpful. The hygienist and Doctor all made our experience a good one. It’s a very cute office, super kid friendly.

Fantastic experience: I used to go to the Doral location where I spent more than 2 or 3 hours in the waiting room after the appointment time, with no seats available, always overcrowded, they even told people to wait inside the car because can't wait in the hallways of the building either; Once in the office, it didn't even take 20 minutes. I was looking for another dental group to avoid that nightmare again and I couldn't get it. I decided to take a chance with this location (Pembroke Pines) and I can't be more than pleasantly surprised because since they answered the phone the girls were super sweet, kind, you could feel their smile behind the speaker of the phone. Then in the waiting room I didn't spend more than 10 minutes when we were called to the consultation. The nurse was very professional and careful in cleaning the teeth and so was the doctor. The appointments for the treatment were only two months waiting (however, they agreed to call me to advance in case there was any cancellation) while at the Doral location, the appointments for treatment were for the next 10 or 11 months of waiting. Total madness! Definitely what a good change I made. My blessings to the beautiful girls at the front desk, with those smiles and that attention, even the worst news is well received. God bless them

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going here to the Pines location for about 8 years. At that time I had 1 child now all 3 go there. They really saved my first born teeth and made it easy and painless. I’m so glad I found them. Still to this day they do a great job with my now 12 year old, 5 year old, and 2 year old. Their dental assistants really know how to make the kids feel comfortable and the dentists always makes the best decisions for the kids. Thank you so much and keep up the good job.

Fantastic experience: We have been coming to American Pediatric Dental for quite a few years now and have always had a good experience. My Brother is autistic and they have always been very patient and supportive with his visits. Fernando, the dental assistant is the best and Dr. Roula as well. Great place for the kids.

But then waited 40 mins to see Doctor!! Wasn't a great visit this time!! Today is Monday, June 21st. Just arrived and staff at front desk is as helpful as always! I am sure my granddaughter will get the best care and treatment as she always does! Such a great office and great staff!! Will highly recommend!! Today is Monday Feb.19th 2024. Took my granddaughter for her 6 month cleaning. Always great dental assistant! Always nice staff! Great atmosphere! Highly recommended !

Fantastic experience: I've been coming to this office for sometime and my experience with Doni has been the best by far. She was extremely pleasant, informative and nurturing!

Negative experience: Bad front desk service. They tried to reschedule the appointment without the patient's consent for an earlier time because they wanted to finish the working day earlier and go home. Unfortunately, they were unable to change the Appt. time in the whole system. Lukily I saved e-mail and text message cobfirmation sent the previous day and before. I was able to show it. The apparently responsible person, who looked new, first time I saw her, she never apologized, she was very unprofessional. Wendy and the dentist were very kind and they understood the situation. Wendy said she will make sure this doesn't happen again. This never happened to us before.

Negative experience: Only schedule an appointment here if you have absolutely nothing to do that day. They are the absolute worst. I have been coming here with my kids for several years, and the earliest I’ve ever been seen is about 30-45 minutes AFTER the appointment scheduled. It can be 1-2 hours in fact. Terrible experience.

Positive experience: Doctor and staff is very nice but I gave it a 3 star because they never have any appointments for treatments. Appointments are so easy for regular cleaning but if you have an emergency for filling, then youll have to wait. I had to wait for months for a filling appointment and the dentist took less than 15 mins to do three fillings for my kid!

Fantastic experience: My daughter was not the biggest fan when I told her she was going to the dentist. “She was scared” but the moment we stepped into the back. Chastidy made her feel calm and reassured her while explaining to her what was every instrument and how it would feel and what she was going to do before doing it. The Doctor was amazing too! Fantastic experience: First time in on a Saturday. I came in rather early expecting the waiting room to be busy. To my surprise there was no wait. Straight back into a room & got started with my son's cleaning. The hygienist was really good with my son. She got him to relax & engage in conversation to get his mind off of things. The dentist was excellent with both my son & relaying treatment and a suggestion for course of action. I would definitely be scheduling on a Saturday. I love this location!
