Fantastic experience: I had a dental emergency and I was horrified because I dont have any insurance. I contacted LA dental Center who saw me at my earliest convenience. (Which I totally appreciated) I went in this morning for them to work up a game plan on my two front teeth and by some miracle they were able to also do the work SAME DAY. I was able to leave with a beautiful smile for 700$ and it was worth every penny! Dr. Zuniga did a beautiful job and made me feel incredibly comfortable. I recommend her!
Negative experience: I took my 3-year-old daughter to Louisiana Dental in Slidell for a routine cleaning and had an extremely disappointing experience. First, I was charged $110 upfront for the cleaning. The “cleaning” itself took less than five minutes and was very insufficient compared to what I’ve experienced at other dental offices for toddlers. My daughter was excited and fully cooperative, yet they barely did anything. She was not afraid, didn’t fight them at all, there was no reason to rush. Weeks later, I received an unexpected bill for an additional $29 for a fluoride treatment. At no point during the visit did anyone tell me that fluoride was not included in the $110 fee or ask for my consent to add this charge. I would’ve been fine paying upfront, but sending a surprise bill weeks later is unacceptable. When I called the office to explain this was in error l, the secretary was incredibly rude and condescending. Instead of listening, she chose to correct my language about my Louisiana Dental plan (a prepaid discount plan, not insurance) as if that somehow made me lesser. I understand what kind of plan I have, but I expected the fluoride to be covered by the fee I paid. I told her “I thought this would be covered “meaning covered by the $110 charge that I paid before the service itself. She proceeded to tell me “nothing is covered. You don’t have dental insurance. You have a prepaid plan “ That fluoride fee should be covered by the $110 fee but apparently my use of the word “covered “was entirely unacceptable to her, and she became irrational and aggressive. She continued to be dismissive, judgmental, and unprofessional, then abruptly hung up after saying she’d “try to get her manager to waive it.” As a self-employed attorney, I choose not to carry traditional dental insurance because I don’t have extensive dental needs. That should not subject me to belittling comments or poor treatment. I paid quite a hefty sum upfront for subpar treatment to begin with after all. Between the rushed and ineffective cleaning, the surprise upcharge, and the unprofessional and rude behavior of the staff, I cannot recommend this dental facility. We will not be returning.
Fantastic experience: Ok so my son is very particular about who is around him. But the people we saw today was amazing. Linton I believe was his name was very gentle with my son and thr doctor was amazing. Will be coming back with him again.
Positive experience: Me and my son went here, only for them to mess up his mouth. They had CROSSNUMBED his mouth when they weren't supposed to, and after an appointment, they simply just told us that we "could leave now". To still have his mouth messed up three days later as a result of all this rushing from the professionals is absolutely insane.
Fantastic experience: My kids have been going here since they got teeth! Dr. Bullard is absolutely amazing with kids. His knowledge and years of experience are beyond this world. Any dentist who has worked has the opportunity to work alongside him or study under him. He definitely is full of knowledge! The office is always clean and immaculate. The staff is amazing upstairs and downstairs. All the dental assistants run like smooth operators and keep the office pace moving with patients in and out. I still use my dentist in Lake Charles (Dr. Herbie Hamilton bc I've been with him for the last 20 years) However, this is the place I'd choose to go to if I had to go to locally. The front desk clerks and assistants are friendly and always on top of the schedule, so if there are any openings, they will call you, or if something becomes available, they will offer it to you. Kids and adults always leave with free sample toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, and mouthwash. The kids are always super excited because they get balloons. There are i dont know how many rooms are downstairs, but upstairs, there are 15 rooms fully ready to service all dental needs. There's nothing more that this place can do to exceed my expectations further! Great work
Fantastic experience: They have done such great work on our 7 year old who needed a lot done thanks to genetically bad teeth and grinding and are wonderful with kids. They were incredible with our 4 year old autistic boy who busted a front tooth, they got him in quickly and were so good with him.

Fantastic experience: I can not say enough good things about this dental office! I was told by a few dentists before this one that my teeth needed a A LOT of work. I looking for a second opinion, went here and it literally wasn't even a quarter of what the other facilities wanted to treat for and charge for! I'm beyond happy and even when I brought my 10yo son everyone is kind and you're in and out with not a lot of waiting at all!!! Highly recommend ♥️

Negative experience: I wish I can leave no stars at all cause they are the worst dentist office in Slidell all they care about is money they don’t care about actually helping and satisfying the patient and they lie to you about the service they provide they say that they can help you with something then when they call to confirm the appointment oh we can’t do that on you we can only provide the service that costs the most money and that’s the only service you can get I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go to this location they tell me what I need and they haven’t seen me in 2 years they don’t know what I had done at another office they just want your money without satisfaction and all this was after they had me switch my insurance 3 times because they only take certain kinds of insurance I’ll never visit them again and I hope they get closed down
Negative experience: Went there about 4 yrs ago for a consult on braces and the orthodontist who was there actually offered me the option of doing the top or the bottom teeth. Needless to say if I had chosen to do the top only my mouth would have been completely jacked up. The point is that my mouth was not in position to have that option. A competent orthodontist would have never even suggested it. This place is like temo and the dmv all under one roof.
Negative experience: I recently popped into Louisiana Dental Center to get my teeth cleaning, and I gotta say, they really know how to make it a breeze. Setting up an appointment was super smooth, but they also take walk-ins if you're in a pinch. And let me tell ya, that place is squeaky clean - no worries on that front! But the real highlight? The staff is just supa wonderful! They made me feel right at home, and my teeth have never felt so fresh. If you're in the area and need dental care, these folks have got you covered! Soon after I had this wonderful experience my filling came out. When I went back dentist for some help I was told I did not have any more insurance. I needed to change insurance company to get my tooth fixed. Now I need that tooth extracted with a new insurance company I went back to these people. I was then told my insurance doesn't pay for just to work on a single tooth and it would best to get a cleaning. After the cleaning the dentist dug in my busted tooth telling me he wasn't going to do anything that day after poking my tooth. I made another appointment for my tooth extraction. When I showed up for my appointment their system was down. They made a show of taking people's phone numbers but never call those people. The giggling receptionist explained how busy they had gotten but she would make another appointment for two days later and would I like the same dentist that didn't do anything.
Fantastic experience: The girl at the front desk was polite and professional, we were greeted upstairs by a sweet assistant who took my daughters x-rays and then the dental hygienist started with her cleaning, it went great, lastly the dentist came in and checked my daughters teeth, so the assistant gave us a care plan and scheduled us for another cleaning and a follow up visit from there. I was very pleased with the knowledge and bedside manner that everyone here possessed. Thank you La Dental Center for a great visit, you made my 12yo daughter feel at ease and comfortable throughout the whole visit
Positive experience: Dr. Zuniga is awesome, magically extracts teeth with no pain after!! There are many downfalls every visit to this place though. Staff is just rude and always rushing you. And now they make you pay before you are even seen or services are done.

Fantastic experience: If anyone is looking for a GREAT dental office to go to, you must give Louisiana Dental Center a shot. Not only do they take walk-ins, and are open on Saturdays, but they have an incredible staff!!! I have always been absolutely terrified of the dentist, and went to them in so much pain. Stacey Rabalais was an amazing listener, kind and understanding, and helped the doctor come up with a treatment plan that I could afford. She helped ease my anxiety with her positive energy, comforting words, and explanations of the process. Dr. Eck also listened so well, and was extremely thorough with my examination. He took his time to make sure he noticed everything, and didn’t just rush me out of there. Dr. Wu did emergency extractions of my wisdom teeth. I was blown away with how quickly he was able to remove them. I wasn’t sedated, and he made the process so quick and pain free, all 4 teeth were removed in 30 minutes! I highly recommend!!! Which is saying ALOT, because in the past I hated going to the dentist and never wanted to go back. Louisiana Dental Center changed that for me, and I will be going back. I am so grateful to them.

Fantastic experience: La. Dental is the only dental care facility I want to go. From the receptionists that greet you until the finance team, you'll feel heard. Chad Vaught is amazingly down to earth and talented. He's treated me for approximately 18 years. The lab team is very accommodating. The hygiene team is very professional and sweet. Their prices are better than those other guys. Go! Trust me. You won't be disappointed.
Fantastic experience: They are always so nice. The dentists are all nice and not judgmental to any of their clients. I’d refer them to anyone and everyone. Such a great place to go. The only bad thing I can say is that they only take certain insurances.
Fantastic experience: My family and I love Louisiana Dental. Our daughters were a little nervous at first. They were use to jungle gyms, and mascots. However, they quickly learned, that the quality of care, was much more important than a jungle gym, and a mascot holding balloons. My daughters feel comfortable with the doctors here. They’re so careful, and very knowledgeable. The doctors will literally walk you through the procedure, while doing it. I never feel blindsided, or neglected. Negative experience: The front desk people aren’t the nicest & they never answer the phone, but my dental hygienist was the absolute best Mrs.Tina she deserves a raise, I was so blessed to have her as a hygienist! The front desk is absolutely awful before I came I called to see if I would have a copay they told me I wouldn’t when I got there they totally switched there story when I called twice before I came to make sure I had no copay not only that they were rude about me having a copay the manager of the front office has been there since forever and she is awful, it really makes me not want to come here anymore every time I come bad experience with front desk

LDC is like an assembly line in function while still being familiar and personal at the same time. I would recommend to friends and family. Great Drs and Staff!!! Another great visit! Every six months! Dr Wiggins and hygienist Kaylein are my FAVS. You will never be disappointed at LDC.

Fantastic experience: Every touchpoint from staff is polite, full of concern and compassion, and very professional. My son saw Dr. Wu and Imari for IV sedation and removal of wisdom teeth. It went smoothly and my son was very comfortable.
Fantastic experience: My daughter had to get her wisdom teeth surgically removed. They said it would take between an hour and an hour and a half. They were able to pull the two top teeth so she was in there for less than an hour. She is home and resting. Great job!

Negative experience: I wouldn't care if a student dentist did my work of the actual dentist oversaw. The student did it and messed up my crown to the point where I lost so much bone the tooth had to be pulled and a bridge is not a viable option for that area and I'm now paying $5,000 for an implant. Also thank GOD Erin is gone she was a horrible manager and human being. I'm just saying please have your actual doctors oversee the work. I'm never coming back here. Unless you PAY for the implant I now need due to YOUR mistake. They also sent me MY DEAD FATHER'S BILL. Have you no mercy? Whar a horrible place. I went there for over a decade. I'm now at Dentists of Slidell, best decision I ever made. They are the only ones I trust with my teeth now.

Negative experience: I arrived at 8:30am for my 9:00 appointment. I was confused at the service payment. I had spoke to a Black lady to talk about my concerns. I AM VERY APPRECIATIVE ABOUT HOW KIND SHE WAS. She left the front desk to go up stairs to ask them a question for me. She was able to explain everything. She was patient and helpful to my questions. I was very satisfied with her service. I was able to reschedule her appointment, but I was VERY DISAPPOINTED when I had turned around to go home. The YOUNG WHITE LADY on her left side make a noise that was mildly inappropriate in a way to mock me as I left. She did not provide me any service but why is she making a fuss. I turned around and made eye contact with her. I was very mad and wanted to come back to say something, but I had to leave to go to work and not have a bad day. I want to know why how she could work in a professional office and show her improper behavior. If I was to go to shop at Walmart, I would expect better behavior from the workers there. I do not normally like the service from most of the front desk people but I love the dentist (Jeffrey Snitzer, D.M.D. – Periodontist) and his assistants. I hope the owner does some training before they get the job next time.
Fantastic experience: I cant tell you how wonderful this experience was. I have been shuffled from hospital to hospital and dental offices from nola. Slidell and Covington and Mandeville because of and absecess caused by a fall. In 15 minutes I had a Dr. In my mouth after already being xrayed in all the er visits and dental offices nobody ever even look inside my mouth they just saw the swelling and 6 hours later they wold say no surgeons avail and send me to other and on and on. Long story short I love them and I'm so thankful for them! That was 5 star review it keeps turning to 2
Fantastic experience: Before I leave this parking lot I want to leave a review because I had such a great experience here. Today was my first time at this location and I cannot say how positive my experience was. I’m not a dentist person being that some dentist years ago caused me a lot of grief but here you can rest assure that you will be greeted with a smile and not have that dentist that says ohhh welllll you need this and this and this causing your bill to be $$$$. From the moment I walked in I worked with Kayla at the front desk, so sweet and helpful. My dental hygienist was Tina, she’s simply amazing. Great attitude! Thanks for shining your light girl. The doc P. Parent was also wonderful. Super friendly and unlike most dentists he will put a watch on your teeth if anything is suspect rather than saying let’s go straight to xyz! On the way out Jaylan grabbed me a tooth brush and tooth paste and I walked out with clean teeth and feeling great. Thanks so much! (PS I even loved the little background pic on the monitor, every smile matters, every minute of everyday)

I have always been so frightened of going to the dentist but this office is so inviting and the Doctor is very very easy to talk to and explains everything step by step. He is also very gentle and I’ve had seven teeth pulled by him in the last year and a half and it was quick and painless!! I highly recommend this practice and especially Dr. Dours!
Positive experience: Front Office Staff - 5 Stars. The person that walked me back and took my history - 5 Stars. The Dentist - 3 Stars being that her lack of a bedside manner was astounding. I went to Louisiana Dental as an Emergency on a Saturday. I’m very thankful they were able to see me. They were able to reattach my front crown and all was good. The person that called me back was very professional and very nice! The Dentist that walked in mumbled her name, stated she was going to re-adhere my crown…she said nothing else her entire time with me. I didn’t know if she was having a bad morning but it was unfortunate. Took about 5 minutes.

Fantastic experience: I see why this place has great reviews. Everyone that we came into contact with was very hospitable to my toddlers and me. Dr. Bullard and Ms. Bri took good care of us. We went in to the cleaning and checkup appt with a bit of anxiety, but came out with an uplifted mood, and two excited kids with their new balloons. It took less than 10 minutes after paperwork for them to call us in and we were out at an adequate time. Will update as we return, but I have no complaints!

Fantastic experience: I was supposed to be scheduled for a 6 month clean and check up, but my front tooth fell out because of a broken post. Very helpful and knowledgeable. I had a plan and appointments for my implant within an hour. They also checked my insurance and provided me with a cost estimate. I also had my 6 month cleaning. Reasonable prices
Positive experience: Had visit this morning, bathroom on first floor was out of paper towels, notified front desk, no response! Sent me to second floor to wait for appointment!!! Poor employee response!! Hygienist and dentist were great as usual!

I've been with 3 dentist already but my favorite is Dr. Wu, he's awesome and his work shows how good is he. . There are many doctors available, and you can find quick appointments and they are open Saturday, and that's a plus.
Positive experience: I have been going to LA Dental Center for quite a few years now. I love my Hygienist Tina. She is great! The dentists are also professional and nice. I'm sorry to say that I can't say the same for the front desk. They are not efficient at all! My appointment was delayed today to update my personal information. Why couldn't I have been sent an email to complete this prior to arriving for my cleaning? How about checking in electronically when we arrive instead of waiting downstairs only to be told we have to go upstairs and wait for our hygienist or assistant to come and get us. The only reason I do not go somewhere else is because of Tina!

Negative experience: I had an appointment at 12pm for a deep clean. I really appreciate Dr. Snitzer. He was very good and explains the procedure very well to let me know what is being done. He is friendly and nice. He took good care of my teeth. I WOULD LIKE TO GIVE HIM 5 STARS FOR HIS SERVICE. The reason why I gave them 2 stars is because when I went to check in and asked for the next appointment, they ignored my question. It took a while before the lady next to the one I spoke to told me sit and wait. If I want to set up my next appointment then I have to wait until after I was done. I asked why did the first one not respond when spoken to the first time so I did not have to stand there and wait. All their faces were not welcoming. I came and paid. It’s not like I was asking for something out of the box or free. The billing lady had a cold vicious look when I went to take a picture of my check for my records. If I didn’t have him for my cleaning I probably would have never gone back. The first time I came there I requested the Vietnamese dentist. She told me that she was too busy to speak with me because she had to do something else AFTER she just worked on my teeth. I wanted to understand what else is needed to be done for my teeth. She told me that and walked away. I tried to call her back and ask her a question. She completely ignored me and walked away. The second time I came in to do a filling, she told me only hi and proceeded to work on my teeth. While she did it, she had a lot of time to chit chat with her assistants. When she finished she stood up and walked away. She gave me no opportunity to ask about my teeth. I don’t know if it’s because I am Vietnamese so she doesn’t want to speak to me or I had done something to make them avoid me. Perhaps my husband and I need to change where we go to get our teeth to get friendlier service. I do appreciate Dr. Snitzer for being very professional and nice to his patients.
Positive experience: I just went earlier today two fillings by Dr Romano. Lynton was working his first week in training. The usual Hygenist that was training Lynton she was doing excellent job as well. THE ENTIRE STAFF IS ALWAYS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND SKILLED AT THEIR DESIGNATED OCCUPATIONS. I apologize. But I never did catch her name though. Again today I had very pleasant and timr efficient experience. In fact. Everytime I've gone there I have had a very pleasant experience. Positive experience: I would highly recommend Louisiana Dental to any family and friends! The service and staff were excellent and not having dental insurance was no problem. I was able to get my tooth pulled and didn’t lose my shirt!! Thank you Louisiana Dental in Slidell!
Fantastic experience: I’d been dealing with an abscess wisdom tooth for about 6 days. I had called over 30+ dentist from Hattiesburg to the westbank as my regular dentist doesn’t do extractions any longer and couldn’t fit me in for 2 weeks. No one could get me in for weeks nor take my insurance. I finally got recommended them not sure how I didn’t call them before already. Not only did they see me same day but extracted my tooth same day and accepted my insurance. The Dr was super nice as well as the staff. Will definitely keep them in mind for future needs.

Fantastic experience: I went in today as a walk in new patient & was very impressed with the speed I was taken back to a room & examined. The front desk staff was very courteous & knowledgeable. Dr. Tran was very professional & explained what was going on & what the next steps in my care would be. I would definitely recommend Louisiana Dental to my friends & family!
Fantastic experience: Dr. Jeffrey Wiggins is the best. Couldn't ask for better professional care. Explains everything and answers any questions you may have. Very caring and doesn't rush to get you in and out. HIs assistants are awesome. Highly recommend him!!
Positive experience: This was my first time at this location and the girls at the reception desk were not really that friendly. I didn’t know where to go when told to go upstairs and when I asked for clarification the girl rolled her eyes and sighed like I was putting her out for asking. Once upstairs However everyone was great and even though I have a high level of anxiety at dental appointments they were very accommodating
Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend the Louisiana Dental Center as a first choice for any dental needs. I’m almost 67 and a retired Marine, and I go there because they can do it all! My Dentist there, Chad Vaught and his assistant are the most professional team I have EVER had and went above and beyond to take care of my needs! I had to replace a broken partial and had to go without until my new one came in. They told me that it could take up to two and a half weeks but they expedited the process with sending pictures of my mouth and multiple impressions to the lab. I had the partial back in 8 days thanks to the extra work on their part! And it fit perfectly! Dr Vaught found that I had a cavity as well and took care of that on my first visit. I appreciate the high level of care from Dr Vaught and his assistant! DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME GOING ANYWHERE ELSE!

Negative experience: DON'T GO HERE. I am 65. I see my dentist every 6 months. Last week I had my first cleaning, exam and x-rays at this facility. My bill was over $600. My hygienist stated that my back tooth/ gums needed a deep cleaning. I've never heard that from any of my previous hygienists. My last hygienist at another dental facility did mention that she wanted me to work harder at brushing that small area. I had my last cleaning at another facility 5 months ago. It was inexpensive and thorough. The hygienist mentioned that I had a very thin layer of plaque. I floss 7 days a week, brush twice a day and I see a dentist every 6 months without ever missing a visit. When I got home I looked closer at my bill from Louisiana dental center. I saw I was charged $112 four times. Today I called and talked to the office manager. She stated that the four $112 charges were for a deep cleaning on 4 individual quadrants. The hygienist NEVER mentioned that she was doing a deep cleaning on 4 quadrants. I would have asked the cost if she would have mentioned that. I knew that deep cleaning one tooth wouldn't be very expensive. I shouldn't have even been charged for 1 quadrant. It was ONE tooth. The office manager said that the hygienist had to go beyond all the plaque with a deep cleaning to use the probing tool efficiently. Why have I had cleanings for years with many different dental facilities and they never mentioned this scenario? I've lived in 6 States and 19 Cities. I've NEVER had a deep cleaning on all 4 quadrants in my life. I also told the office manager that this was the first time my gums bled everywhere when the hygienist used the probing tool to test for pockets. It felt like she was constantly probing too deep. It was very painful too and I have never felt that kind of pain during probing. Probing too deep/ hard can show deeper pocket numbers on the probing tool. This hygienist documented a lot of 4's and 5's. I've never had that many deep pockets except once about 15 years ago at a dental office in Florida and she stated that she had 20 years' experience. I didn't agree with her numbers so two days later I went to a different dental facility and the numbers were 2's and 3's with only a couple of 4's. Hygienists don't all come up with the same numbers, but most get close. I told the office manager that I wanted an adjustment to my bill. She said that the hygienist documented that I needed deep cleaning in 4 quadrants. I told her that doesn't matter, because she NEVER TOLD ME THAT INFORMATION BEFOREHAND or AFTERWARDS. She ONLY told me that I needed a deep cleaning on ONE pocket. I also didn't see a breakdown of my bill until AFTER the visit. I asked for a detailed printout. The office manager said "well you signed it". I don't care what I signed. I should have been informed that I needed deep cleaning on 4 quadrants beforehand and the cost. I would have said "NO". One tooth fine. The office manager stated that she would have a talk with the hygienist and we could go from there. I told her that the hygienist is just going to repeat what she documented. I told her I wasn't interested in going any further. I told her that her team was fired. She should have given me credit over the phone during our conversation. I know she could tell that I have high integrity. Why go back to the hygienist when she's just going to backup what she had already documented? Have trust and faith in your patients especially new patients. PLEASE THINK TWICE.
Fantastic experience: I had a really nice experience with LDC today. The ladies were amazing and in such a good mood. So refreshing to be honest. I was in and out really quick with a confident game plan on the work I need done. 10 out of 10 for me.
Positive experience: Everyone smiling and friendly from the front desk to the Doctor. Made me feel very comfortable despite my bad teeth! Dr.Tran was great, you can tell how much she loves her job and not afraid of a challenge! Thanks to all!
Negative experience: I brought my 14 year old daughter in for a simple check up & cleaning which was done in the first 30 minutes of being in the exam room. As we waited for over an hour for the dentist to come in and visibly check her teeth, an assistant went and found another doctor (which wasn’t assigned to my daughter) Dr. Wiggins was very thorough and polite apologizing for our wait! We than found out my daughter had a very tiny cavity in between her back molar & we were given the option of being seen right away & it would only take 45 minutes, since I was already in facility (a bit irritated) but still agreed! Upon arriving downstairs to check back in we were instantly brought to the back. Wishing 5 minutes they numbed her tha left us for almost an addition 40 minutes! At this point I’m aggitated, my daughters numbness is wearing away (redheads need more anesthesia) so I decide to say something, this dentist (last name Tran) had the nerve to say if you’re irritated we can reschedule, UMMMM EXCUSE ME? This is after my daughter received 3 shots in her mouth! DO NOT BRING YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS HERE
Fantastic experience: As of today 3/8/23 as always Kaylen gets 5 stars. I do however feel that the process to update information is a bit unnecessary in the waiting room. With as many texts reminders that I receive a link could be emailed to have the choice to update information online prior to my appointment. This process delayed me getting upstairs to my appointment for 15 minutes. 2 years ago Always clean and efficient!

Negative experience: I had gone to Louisiana Dentel in Slidell for about ten years, or more, religiously ever six months for routine cleanings. My daughter was telling me how much she loved her dentist, so I decided to give them a try. After a thorough cleaning and extensive x-rays, I was informed that I had three cavities and was in need of three crowns. So, I decided to get a second opinion. I did and was told the same thing. I was shocked. None of this was ever told to me at Louisiana Dental. How did all of this occur within six months??
Fantastic experience: I needed an emergency extraction, and not only were they the only place in Slidell that had availability that day, but they got me in within 20 minutes of calling. The staff was very respectful and organized for the number of people waiting for appointments, and everything seemed to move smoothly and efficiently. Dr. Rudisill was absolutely exceptional. He was kind, empathetic, and had a warm energy altogether. He had me out of there in no time, and the cost was much lower than I was expecting without having insurance. I couldn't be more grateful for having such a scary situation get taken care of so quickly and seemlessly.
Positive experience: . I trusted the dentist assigned to care for me to have me appear as I did before many medications caused my real teeth to die. Even with the broken things that remained, I still had a full face.I still looked like the me. I was excited when my dentist assured me I would have my old, regular smile back once her and LDC’s work was completed,.I agreed to her plan and, after allowing her to make me look as I do now, through all those extractions, not so patiently waited the allotted time for my recovery and LDC’s order to be filled. We anxiously showed up on the initial fitting day and was excited and pleased with the viewing of the new, improved part of my face, my new denture. All that quickly left me when it was first put in my mouth. It immediately rattled around my mouth, not fitting to my gum in any way. I immediately told both the tech (and the dentist, when she came a moment later to check how it looked) , while, even then, I had trouble speaking and keeping it in my mouth, that it did not fit, it was too big. I was told by both that what it was doing was normal and, using Fixodent, my mouth would quickly adjust to the alien object and everything would fall into place. Not knowing then what we know now about proper fit and very little need, if any, of adhesives when denture are properly made, we trusted their knowledge and departed clinic, ready to live and look normal again. That is where this nightmare begins. From that point on, I don’t know how many times I came to clinic with the same complaint of my denture not fitting properly, even with the daily uses of adhesive. All those times, I don’t recall speaking to my dentist at any time. The lab technicians continued to replace soft liner, which I assume they were instructed to do, every time I came. And every time, I would tell them (and show them, after a couple minutes of it being put back in my mouth) that it still didn’t fit. Each time I was given different reasons for the denture failing to allow me to function normally, even with adhesives I.e.eat a normal meal, hold a conversation without nearly expelling denture out of my mouth, etc, and advised each time that continual use of adhesives were the only way that dentures work, regardless of the many times I told them the adhesives were doing absolutely nothing to keep my denture in once any amount of pressure on it was applied. By the one year mark, I began to educate myself on every aspect of dentures, particularly information from countless dental sites FAQs about how proper denture fitting is through the suction and friction produced when the denture is in close contact with the the area it is supposed to be and the fact that EVERY one of the numerous dental or medical sites I researched strongly discouraged the use of adhesives to keep dentures attached to their respective areas in the mouth.Now, with all of this new information I’ve found, it’s blatantly obvious that throughout the entire time I have been under the care of LDC, in general, and my dentist, in particular, I have been lied to and misled regarding my continued confusion and frustration concerning both my physical and mental health and well-being. You have continually attempted, through deceit and manipulation, to make me believe that a fraudulent, mistakenly manufactured prosthetic oral device was specifically and correctly constructed in regards to me and my dentist’s properly prescribed orders regarding my oral healthcare needs, knowing from the time of fitting that this particular device could NEVER properly provide the promised, intended outcome of which I came to LDC to receive. I am respectfully asking LDC supervisors to understand what destruction the deceitful actions described above has done to this man’s physical, mental, and emotional health and how a entire family’s way of life continues to be negatively impacted due to the immaturity and apparent gall and greed exhibited by these people trusted with care of others
Positive experience: First time going to La Dental. My Granddaughter in law and her children go there. I saw Dr Chad Vaught today. I fear sitting in the dental chair and told him and his assistant. I was pleased with both. I thought they explained everythi ng to me well. Ihave some work to be done on my mouth I still fear sitting in the drntal chair. But feel I am in good hands with Dr. Vaught and his assistant. The ones at the front desk are ate not friendly. Told me I didn't hsve dental insurance it was medical. Told me I had to call my insurance company and get it straight. Did that and the insurance lady told me all they had to do was call the dental number on the back of the card to verify that I did. So I asked her to please tell them that and she did. So thankful because it paid for my visit. Again I was satisfied with Dr. Vaught and his assistant would recomment him.
Fantastic experience: Dr. Vo is AMAZING! I’ve suffered with dental anxiety for as long as I can remember. Dr. Vo not only walked me through every part of my procedures, but she treated me as if it were her own teeth. She checked the color four times- in different lights, to confirm the proper crown color. And she never rushes- even tho they always have a waiting room full- she makes me feel like my teeth are the 1st priority. The team at this location work extremely hard to treat any and everyone immediately. I highly recommend seeing her at Louisiana Dental Center for the best dental experience you could ask for! ❤️
Fantastic experience: My experience today was great. My appointment was at 11 AM and I was in the chair for x-rays and cleaning shortly after 11. My Hygenist was very considerate and took care of my cleaning efficiently and listened to my concerns since my previous visit. When the Dentist came in he explained what was happening with the tooth I was concerned about and was very considerate. He explained the procedures I needed to have done and the Hygenist gave me a written estimate of the dental work I needed and scheduled my first appointment. I appreciate the service I received today.
Negative experience: I felt like my visit was more about money than patient care. And I work in the medical field. To begin, as soon as I checked in, I was called to be advised that I would need to pay for the X-ray before they would even bring me back. So I paid and then was called to an exam room. One X-ray was taken. The assistant left to process and came back to tell me the tooth needed to be extracted. I asked for further explanation, but was advised that would be left to the dentist. The dentist came in and we discussed repair versus extraction. We decided extraction was best. He left for a moment and the clerk was took payment for the X-ray returned with a handheld device to collect FULL payment while I laid in the chair awaiting the dentist to return. It quickly became clear that if I didn’t pay in full, I would leave with the problem I went in with. Seriously, you really couldn’t wait until the procedure was completed. After I was done, they let me walk out. Didn’t even offer a follow up appointment to begin cleaning and other needed work. In my opinion this is not good patient care and I will not return, nor would I recommend this office.
Fantastic experience: I have been going to this office for some years now. I went to my second visit to get my permanent crown and prep the next one today. I walk in and sign in and then called to to the counter and the girl tells me I owe money. I paid in full for my two crowns upfront three weeks before. She argues with me. I think she should look at the history before talking out of line. Then dismissed me so she could do so after arguing with me. Dr. Romano is the best and so was the assistant. I only want Dr. Romano working on my teeth. Because when I had my cleaning and there was an old aged dentist that came to look after my cleaning scheduled a filling and when I went in Dr.Romano saw no cavity because I did not have one. Paid for my two crowns in full and we started so it was not a wasted trip. Thanks Dr.Romano.
Negative experience: The early morning appointments are best so you can get in and out, but the front desk, early morning attitudes are horrible! The answer to everyone questions are "Sign in and have a seat"....smh....oh you already signed in...well I can't hear you behind this plexiglass so speak up and tell the entire waiting room why you're here today. (Sighs)If you are not friendly, get a job where customers and patients don't exist.
Negative experience: I have been here a handful of times and saw Dr. Bean. I had to get a filling and it fell out TWICE and he had to redo it THREE times. I also had another filling done and a crown. I went to another dentist after my terrible experience here and they want to redo all of the teeth Dr. Bean had done not even 2 years ago. I would give zero stars if I could, do not go here and waste your money!!!!! Do not let them ruin your teeth.
Fantastic experience: Excellent service by a top notch staff. The proper precautions were taken by staff to make me feel at ease during the COVID19 pandemic. Update: June 2022. Still receiving excellent care from the LA Dental Team. Special mention for Tina who keeps my gums and teeth healthy.
Negative experience: I keep giving this place a try but honestly, it’s not been the best experience. The staff member and hygienist were kind and friendly and timely. The dentist came in, didn’t introduce herself or barely speak to me aside from saying I’m going to check your teeth to make sure everything is good. I find it very rude especially considering I had to wait almost 25 minutes for her to take the 5 seconds she did, at least be kind and respectful of other people’s time and money. I just moved here and I had such a great relationship with my previous provider. Here it just feels like there are too many dentists for them to care enough to build rapport. Very disappointing.
Positive experience: The dental hygienist was kind and patient with my son and the staff is always friendly . I would have given a perfect score . But this the first time since we ve been coming to this office for four years that the dentist didn't speak to me as the parent and hardly spoke to my son . But she had friendly conversation with the people next door . She walked in didn't say anything went straight into my son's mouth and said it looks good and walked out . Every other time I've had amazing experiences . I know she was probably busy . But to hear ask the other people how the weekend and spoke to other child and the parent and walk in our room and never introduced her self or anything.
Negative experience: Fast and cheap service, you pay for what you get. They will make you wait months if you have to reschedule an appointment. That is not quality care. They need to make a waiting list for people, if someone cancels, then they call and ask if someone who needed to reschedule is available for that day, instead of scheduling two/three months away. Pretty sure it’s easier to drive down there if you have any questions. Their phone lines are always ringing, it takes 1 to 2 hours before you can get through to someone, and when someone does pick up, they start calling you by another patients name, and start telling you their business before you can say, “Hey, that’s not me.” You also gotta love their classic line, “I’ll have Ms.___ call you back…” I have yet to ever receive any of the callbacks I was told I would get.
Positive experience: Not very good service for special needs person. Got a bridge for my grandson and I wasn't with him. His worker took him to get it put in. I didn't see it for a few days or I wouldn't have excepted it. It looks really bad and my insurance and I paid through the nose for it. First of all they didn't caterer to his needs being special needs person. They just kept giving him injections to numb him up and he had a very bad experience. They should have given him gas and put him asleep so they could have done a better job but they didn't offer anything other than the injections. I won't take him back there for any other work he needs done.
Fantastic experience: I have been to LDC a few times over the last year, and I always have a great experience. Dr. Bean's work is consistently great, and he is always friendly and makes me feel comfortable. Tina is exceptional as well. And I have always gotten in and out pretty quickly. This is a great dental center.
