Fantastic experience: This place is awesome. I have never been to a dentist who explained things so clearly. I also am really sensitive to tooth pain and I have had cleanings and fillings here with zero pain. I have been to many dentists and this one is by far my best experience.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely stellar experience. I had Christianna helping me at the front desk and Nikki as my dental hygienist. They made it clear from the beginning that comfort was their first priority which was great for someone with dental anxiety like me. Nikki made sure to ask what my concerns were in regards to my dental health and focused care on my priorities (longevity of the teeth). Then I had Dr Kuyk who was wonderful and spent extra time to explain what my treatment plan was and why. Absolutely stellar experience and I am very happy. Thanks, Nikki, Christianna, and Dr. Kuyk!

Fantastic experience: I had my first appointment this morning and I wish I had come here sooner! I was able to schedule a new patient appointment the same week I called. All staff were immediately warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere is relaxing. MaryLou at the front desk (patient care coordinator) worked tirelessly to try to obtain my records and X-Rays from my previous dentist. She also kept me informed during the process and relayed updates. Abigail (the dental assistant) greeted me in the lobby and brought me back. She spent time taking notes on what I hope to get out of dentistry and what is important to me in my dental experiences. She was incredibly kind and personable, and gets to know you as a person. She then went to meet with the doctor to inform her of our discussion and gave me the option of choosing something from their Comfort Menu while I waited. I did not select anything (this time!), but Abigail did turn up the music in the room for me on her way out. Notably, the individual rooms have sliding doors which allows for a sense of privacy as opposed to open-layout offices. Dr. Kyuk put me at ease, understood my concerns and potential physical complications and reassured me of what adjustments are available. (If you get vertigo, this may be the dental office for you.) She was also knowledgeable about anesthesia and red hair, and gave me a longer upcoming appointment to become truly numb for my fillings. They ended up doing an X-ray (they did not charge for this as the other dental office had not yet sent my X-rays in) and discovered the cause of tooth pain I have had for over a year! I was incredibly relieved and felt I was in capable hands. Dr. Kyuk was also very calm and professionally warm in her interactions, which helped immensely with dental anxiety. She asked some questions to get to know me before diving into the dental exam. Kelsea (patient care coordinator) took care of me with payment and scheduling my next appointment. She also ensured I received a goodie bag (you also can take a cookie on your way out, or help yourself to tea or coffee in the waiting room). She was also kind and personable - I’m seeing a trend! Trust in my dental team is worth the price, and I am so grateful to have been recommended their services by my coworker. The experience did not disappoint, and for the first time in a while I feel hopeful about my dental treatment. (Abigail let me know she would be there for my fillings appointment, too, which was wonderful to know.) Thank you all again for such a warm welcome today! I am very appreciative.

The entire staff is friendly, professional, and truly cares about your comfort and dental health. Negative experience: Kim is AMAZING!!! Office is super comfortable, and all of the staff are very professional and courteous. I still believe in their staff, however, as of 1/1/2025 they no longer accept insurance which is a huge disservice to the community and alienates a lot of patients who simply cannot afford those costs upfront. In response to your update as of 7/31/2025: I appreciate your response and understand how your office operates now, but I want to be very clear about how this change has impacted my family—especially as someone who has a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) specifically to cover dental costs for a family of seven, three of whom were your patients. Because your office now requires payment upfront and then sends reimbursement directly to the patient, I cannot use my FSA card at the time of service. Worse, I cannot simply submit the receipt for reimbursement through my FSA either—because FSA rules prohibit reimbursement for costs that are later reimbursed by insurance. In this setup, I would have to carefully separate out what insurance eventually pays versus what I actually owe, then provide supporting documentation to the FSA administrator. That extra layer of tracking and paperwork makes the process far more complicated than it used to be—and frankly, it becomes more trouble than it is worth. For families like mine who rely on FSAs to responsibly manage healthcare costs, this policy shift creates a real burden. It may seem simple from your side, but for the patient, it is anything but.

Fantastic experience: The competent and caring staff at Zoe Dental give me a sense of confidence regarding my dental health. They clearly communicate during every step of each procedure and wrap up by letting me know the best option for meeting my current needs. Angie in particular is a great hygienist …warm & friendly and oh so thorough, with a precise and gentle touch!

Fantastic experience: We’re new to town. Finding a good doctor or dentist is hard…..and we found THE BEST at Zoe Dental. The hygienist Angie is superior to any other I’ve had. Dr. Juarez is personable, kind and thorough. We feel so fortunate to have found this exceptional practice.

Fantastic experience: Nikki, my hygienist, does an amazing job! She listens to my concerns and does a thorough cleaning. I’ve been going to Zoe Dental for 1 1/2 years and so far, I’ve been fortunate and have not needed any major dental work done. The three dentists I’ve met seemed well trained and they did comprehensive exams. The front desk staff are always welcoming and kind.

Fantastic experience: I’ve dreaded going to the dentist for most of my life—until I found Zoe Dental. From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt welcomed, respected, and genuinely cared for. The entire staff is incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. They take the time to explain everything, answer questions without rushing, and make sure you’re comfortable throughout your visit. The office itself is clean, modern, and has a calm, peaceful atmosphere that immediately put me at ease. Every experience I’ve had at Zoe Dental has been positive, and for the first time in my life, I actually look forward to my dental appointments. If you’re someone who has had bad experiences in the past or just feels anxious about dental work, I can’t recommend Zoe Dental enough. They’ve completely changed how I feel about dental care, and I’m truly grateful to be a patient here.

Fantastic experience: First visit to the dental office and I was impressed. The hygienist Nikki did a wonderful and attentive job. Dr. Perry was very professional and knowledgeable in his recommendations for my dental care. Positive experience: A decent dentist but recently changed their payment policy to having to pay $400 for a cleaning the day of. While this makes sense for certain procedures, a standard cleaning costing that much upfront with insurance is ridiculous. Having to wait for the reimbursement check is inconvenient and irritating. Changing dentists due to this.

Negative experience: This was by far my favorite dentist. I have been a patient for (4) years and am always quick to recommend Zoe Dental. However, they recently changed their payment policy and require that all services —regardless of insurance—be paid upfront. This means that patients will have to wait to be reimbursed [via check] by their insurance companies. A profound disappointment for those of us who have insurance, but are unable to pay those full amounts upfront; it somewhat defeats the purpose of having insurance and adds a layer of unnecessary stress to the patient. Due to this, I was forced to cancel my upcoming services. I hope they reconsider this recent change.

Fantastic experience: That was the absolute best dental experience I could have hoped for. The office was beautiful, the employees were compassionate, and their system of operation was so impressive. I felt seen and heard in such a way that I had to ask myself “am I really at the dentist right now? This feels more like I’m at a spa or wellness center.” Both my dentist and assistant met me with professionalism AND were personable. Thank you staff, I will be back.

Fantastic experience: The best dentist I’ve ever been to, hands down. The level of comfort and care is unmatched. I used to be absolutely terrified of going to the dentist, now it’s become my favorite place to go! Besides regular dental care, I needed several molars removed and replaced with implants. The procedure was so easy for me, I had virtually no pain, and now I have the most beautiful, perfectly functioning teeth. For the first time in years I can eat normally! I cannot recommend them enough. If you have fears around the dentist, this place is a must! The staff is so nice and the comfort menu is just the cherry on top. Wish I could give you 10 stars!

Fantastic experience: Every experience I’ve had with Zoe Dental has been great. They got me fit in this morning last minute due to some gum pain, and I was still in and out within an hour! The comfort items offered are such a nice addition since going to the dentist can be such a stressful situation- I know it is for me! Fantastic experience: I had a great experience today when I had a dental emergency and they worked me in Immediately even though it is just before the holiday holidays and two other offices were not able to do this.. Dr. Juarez, Olivia and the entire staff were all excellent and kind. The clinic has a booming business and I can see why.

Fantastic experience: I had such a great experience at Zoe Dental! Angie and Dr. J were both incredibly prompt and made me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. Angie went above and beyond, making sure I was cozy with the heated and massage chair functions—it made such a difference! Fantastic experience: Zoe Dental in general just has an GREAT an WELCOMING atmosphere all around. The front desk workers are super NICE. But my personal experience with Dr.O, Macie and Olivia was amazing they are top notch! Dr.O is a perfectionist along with his team. I can’t thank them enough for making my SMILE GREAT AGAIN! Fantastic experience: Posted at the entrance (New patients names). The amazing experience begins!! Mary Lou at the reception desk setting the tone. She is kind, courteous, and cheerful. Macie, the team member that provided a professional, outgoing, and compassionate services, from XRays to a detailed summary. Dr. Orlosky was amazing explaining a detailed plan of action. The entire experience from start to finish, including the atmosphere was incredible.

Fantastic experience: The absolute best dentist practice I’ve experienced to date. The front desk ladies were all friendly. The waiting area is clean and has coffee or water available for you. My appointment was for 10:30 this morning. In my experience I haven’t been taken back at my appointment time. It’s always been at least an extra hour. Not here! Macie called my name at my actual appointment time. She took me back and made sure I was comfortable. The dentist chair has an option for heat and massage (what!!) Dr. O came in and greeted me. He explained what he was going to do and made sure I was comfortable. He checked in different times to make sure I was doing alright. All in all this practice far exceeds what I’ve experienced in Asheville.

Fantastic experience: Update 11/5/24 - so grateful for Zoe Dental - and Dr. V and Kim!! The best! What a wonderful dental office. I had my first appointment yesterday and was blown away by SO many aspects of this practice. Booking my appointment and providing initial paperwork was remarkably organized and EASY! The office was spacious and lovely, every staff member was vivacious, content, and competent, I got a nice new-client gift, and more fabulous thoughtful touches were abundant. Regarding care, Beth, my dental hygienist, was friendly, highly experienced, and knowledgeable. She answered my questions with ease and was fluent with regards to navigating insurance. My dentist was an absolute delight. Present, obviously passionate about his work, and had the BEST, most reassuring bedside manner. I left feeling so supported and on top of my long-term dental needs with zero stress. Wow! Go Zoe!! Since my first visit, I continue to be wowed by Zoe Dental. I know I'm in great hands and that is incredibly reassuring and stress-reducing!

Fantastic experience: All of the dentists are great, very skilled, and provide excellent care. Dr. Stamatiades, Dr. Orlosky, Dr. Juarez, and Dr. Van Wagenen have all worked on my teeth, and all have done excellent work.... whether filling a cavity, installing a crown, or fitting night guards. The hygienists, dental assistants, and admin teams are also very skilled and friendly and offer great advice on oral care as well as working around your schedule to provide follow-up appointments: Angie, Stacy, Kelsea, etc. I strongly recommend this dental practice!

Fantastic experience: Marlisa was so efficient and thorough when cleaning my teeth today. I feel like I have a new set of brand new teeth. And we had great conversations about our dogs and how to floss (productively). Very kind woman and another great experience at Zöe Dental!!

Fantastic experience: I always have the best time at Zoe, but today was just top tier! I had to bring my 6 month old and my 2 year old with me and Nikki let my toddler watch and learn while she cleaned my teeth. And Amy held onto my baby until my baby decided she needed her mama again. They care so much about their patients and I love it. Nikki is 10/10 and I never miss an appointment with her! Give them a try if you haven’t ❤️

Fantastic experience: This place was hands down one of the best dental experiences I've ever had. Everyone there is super nice and positive but not in a way that seems fake. Dr V as he everyone made it clear that my comfort was a top priority and she answered all my questions happily. And Anna stayed right there beside me tapping my shoulder to help distract me while I was going through the worst of it. Everyone is great and I'll recommend them to anyone

Negative experience: The people are very nice, and the office is very clean and welcoming, but ultimately it comes down to value. Despite having insurance that is supposed to be zero deductible for in or out of network dentists, I constantly get billed. I question it every time, and never get a real answer. One year i switched my insurance not realizing that it no longer covered out of network, and i didn't realize my visits weren't covered, but Zoe never filed any of my visits until the end of hte year, which insurance obviously denied, and i wound up with an $800 bill out of the blue. Not even an explanation, just as I was checking out, "so looks like your balance is $748(or something)" as if that was a totally normal price. They tried to claim it was my insurance, but I attached a photo of my insurance coverage. So at this point I'm going to be taking my business elsewhere. I don't need a spa, I need a dentist and I need one that can be consistent with billing. When I have a zero deductible for basic cleanings, I expect to walk out without paying anything. That never happens here. The reply below is not accurate. They submitted to insurance after FOUR treatments. They waited an entire year to submit all my treatments for that year. And they also completely ignored the screenshot i posted regarding having a zero deductible and still being charged when i visit. Just be careful with them. They're going to get you

Fantastic experience: As I stated in my last review, I have been with Zoe Dental or its predecessor, Dr. Cave, for 40 years. Regardless of the procedure, large or small, I always feel relaxed and confident in the care I will receive. I have acknowledged with the staff that I am fully aware of the slightly higher cost here than other dentists, but the quality of the materials and staff expertise explain that differential very well. That is why I have always remained at this office, almost a 40 minute drive from my home. I also believe the added cost I pay contributes to Zoe’s ability to offer an annual day of free dental care to those in need. Thank you for doing that!

Fantastic experience: I can’t say enough great things about Dr.S and his team. He is the best dentist I have ever been to. I have had to have quite a bit of dental work done in the past few months. One of which was a root canal however Dr. S with care and concern for ME stopped the root canal and advised me to go a different route. He truly treated me as if I was family and helped me make the right choice for myself in the long run. Abigail is so sweet & kind and tries her best to comfort me each time I’m in the chair. They both are amazing! Everyone is so friendly and they make you feel comfortable from the time you walk in. The office is so nice and clean. I would recommend Zoe Dental 100%. You won’t be disappointed!!

Fantastic experience: 9/3/24 Went to Zoe Dental for my annual cleaning. Kim the hygienist was amazing. She addressed all my questions and concerns. Had James Taylor ready for me to listen to as she cleaned; along with my being able to have my chair in heated massage mode and to top it off a touch of aroma therapy; I was the most COMFORTABLE I have ever been at an appointment. Dr.O. Came and reviewed films and answered additional questions. They are experts at insuring your comfort through the entire visit. So very thankful I found Zoe Dental. Highly recommend them for all your dental needs.

Fantastic experience: I have extreme anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist so much so that I have avoided going to the dentist for many many years. I just recently came on as a client at Zoe’s and this is by far the best experience I have ever had at a dental practice in my entire life. Their staff are extremely understanding and comforting. Fantastic experience: Another great experience. Avery is an awesome hygienist— very gentle, caring and thorough. When I arrived she already had my blanket and aromatherapy waiting. Zoe has state of the art equipment which makes the time speedy and comfortable. All dentists and staff show exceptional interest in their patients. Never occurred to me before Zoe that I would look forward to going to the dentist.

Fantastic experience: I have been a patient at zoe Dental for 20 years. When i walk into the building, i am greeted with a smile. My hygienist always spends a couple of minutes to talk with me before beginning her work. She never rushes and does a great job. My dentist is outstanding. This is a supurb practice with real professional who are up to date with current practice and technology. I would not go anywhere else!

Fantastic experience: Update: More than a year later, this is still my favorite dental provider. They helped me with an implant and being able to listen to music made all of the difference. As silly as it is, I love the cookies they put at the front desk. It’s nice to get a little treat after a dental appointment. My first appointment with Zoe Dental was hands down my most relaxing dental experience. They offer personalized preferences including a heated back massager in the dental chair, head phones, music, stress ball, etc. They were also detail oriented in completing a comprehensive dental exam. More dental offices should follow suit with the anxiety that comes along with going to the dentist.

I wouldn't have expected anything other than that after being a Zoe Dental patient for as long as I have lived in Asheville which is about 15 years now. Fantastic experience: Probably one of the most thorough dentists I have been to since I was at my pediatric dentist (which funny enough is Best Bites across the road)! Went through all my concerns, wasn't the slightest bit pushy on any issues, did fillings I needed ON THE SPOT and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I enjoyed my experience and, as someone who has a crowded mouth and a lot of previous fillings, that is saying a lot. I would easily recommend Zoe Dental to anyone!

Fantastic experience: I highly recommend Zoe Dental. I recently moved to Asheville and when I asked a neighbor if she could recommend a local dentist, she didn't hesitate to say Zoe Dental. I called and got an appointment fairly quickly - 2 to 3 weeks as I recall. I filled out the new patient paperwork online a few days ahead of time, and when I arrived at my appointment, I was impressed that they had already contacted my previous dentist and had my records and X-rays available for review. Everyone I encountered on my first visit, including the front desk staff, hygienist Angie, and dentist Dr. J., was friendly, and in my opinion, highly competent. They asked questions about my previous dental experiences and listened to my responses before developing their treatment recommendations. They genuinely were interested in making sure I was comfortable during treatment. I am very happy with the work done on my first visit. Fantastic experience: I have tried several dental practices in Asheville in the past nine years and I finally found Zoe Dental! They are affordable, comfortable and have an excellent staff. My hygienist Angie, and Dr. J are gentle and kind. Their "pamper menu" is next level and I feel like I'm at a spa, rather than at a dental appointment. Fantastic experience: Zoe Dental's technician Kim was excellent. She explained all the equipment that Zoe Dental has to make patients comfortable, including their massage chair, and was quick but thoroughly. in cleaning my teeth. Dr. V was also excellent. Thank you for great service.

Fantastic experience: I will be the first to admit the dentist is not my favorite place. Normally I’m a nervous wreck jacked up anxiety. Just at the thought of walking in a dental office door. Walking in the door I was greeted by 2 wonderful ladies which tried to make me feel comfortable. I checked in waited a few short minutes. Anxiety check 9-10 no dentist office smell or it would have been a 10-10. Angie is absolutely amazing, can I say that one more time Angie is absolutely amazing. She gave me the full tour with good conversation and jokes to cut the tension anxiety level 6-10 . Got back in the room sat down to a heated seat with vibration. Ya it was actually relaxing. X-ray time simple and easy right in my seat with no hard to bite down on plastic tabs. Anxiety 5-10 . After X-rays it’s time to pick and clean the teeth, Angie was still cutting jokes and straight focused on me . Again she is amazing. After my cleaning Dr V comes in does my screening and talks about any issues or concerns I have. Super nice great dentist Dr V is . Anxiety 1-10 . Upon leaving I was given a yummy cookie “ talk about job security “ lol and a welcome package. You Angie and Dr V now have a locked in returning patient. That will spread the word of yalls amaziness high and low. Truly Thank yall for the great services.

Fantastic experience: Started going here recently because my hygienist moved from another practice. To be honest Kim is the only reason I go to the dentist. So far the whole staff has been great. The Dentist are attentive and take time to educate you. Shout-out to Stacy at the front desk for being helpful and kind when I check in and out.

Fantastic experience: Love my experience with everyone at Zoe's Dental, especially with Ms. Olivia and Dr. Juarez. I was struggling with a broken tooth and I needed to get it fixed badly. My sister, Angie Jones, who is one of their hygienists referred them to me. I'm happy that she did! They are super friendly and make you feel comfortable being there. The receptionist, Mary Lou is a sweet person too. I will eventually learn who everyone is because I plan on making this the place for all of my dental needs!

Fantastic experience: So far they have been Amazing here at Zoe. They are working me in for a cleaning same day as my crown placement and filling. I am trying to get things done before knee surgery and they have been extremely helpful. It saves me from going back a third time, getting my cleaning done this way. Dr. Juarezhas done a Great job and Great at explaining Dental Implants to me.

They give you an option of tools to alleviate nerves like a heated blanket or essential oils. Abigail is very helpful and takes time to answer your questions! Definitely recommend coming here!

Macy came and got me, she is wonderful, very kind and comforting, as going to the dentist, generally terrifies me. Dr. O was also very kind and knowledgeable. Amy offered me all kinds of options to make the visit as enjoyable as possible, and she was very detailed in going over the entire procedure. This was my initial visit and I plan on being a long-term patient.

Fantastic experience: Hands down the best Dental office I've ever been to. I just came home from my 3rd cleaning at Zoe, and can now firmly say that their high quality of service is consistent. Everyone is so friendly, they take extra steps to make the office comforting and welcoming, and they make everything from scheduling to insurance super easy. Small touches like always remembering something about my personal life (because they take the time to make notes about it) go a long way. Fantastic experience: My first appointment with Dr V and Kelsea was such a blessing. Kelsea calmed my nerves immediately and made me feel like I was the only patient in the office. Fantastic experience: I have been going to Zöe dental since 2013. I have always been appreciative of the quality of their care and the friendly professionalism of all the staff. My recent visit was a teeth cleaning with a hygienist named Maralisa. I feel strongly that this was by far my best dental cleaning yet. she was friendly, polite and sensitive to my preferences. she was very thorough without being rough or hurried. my teeth cleaning was excellent. I also LOVE that I get a free Zoe lip moisturiser each time I go. I had literally used my last down as I walked into the place this morning. The best lip stuff ever! Thank you Zoe Dental
