Fantastic experience: This children’s dental funzone is a warm, inviting space designed with kids in mind. It offers a variety of fun activities, such as temporary tattoos, coloring, bracelet-making, iPod games, and complimentary gifts. The doctor and staff are not only friendly and professional but also provide quick and seamless care. I highly recommend this clinic for anyone seeking excellent dental care for their children!

Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff made my special needs babies feel safe and comfortable absolutely amazing job I highly recommend this place to all the special needs family.

Negative experience: I don't recommend the location in Ontario. For a couple of reasons. 1. I had to enquire about my daughter's toothpaste prescriptions over 3 months to 3 different people before they actually sent it in to my pharmacy. This prescription was recommended by the dentist himself and he was actually one of the people I had to remind he promised to contact me the next day and never did. Then there was the lady that answered the phones twice that never got back to me as well. Eventually my husband went in and was able to get them to send the script in.#2 my daughter has anxiety and they agreed to use gas to calm her down. They did the first time but the second time we came in (I was not there) the assistant took it out but never used it on her. She was in tears the whole time. #3 they cleared one of my daughters saying she had no cavities and come to find out later they were looking at the wrong X-rays she did have cavities. I even asked if they were sure because I knew she did from a previous dentist and they insisted she didn't until they realized they messed up. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

Fantastic experience: Great dentist office. Dr.ali and the assistants Jacob, aivian and everyone in the office make my daughter felt very comfortable and safe especially during her treatment.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience for my 5 year old daughter who’s is on the spectrum and can’t walk on her own due to her genetic condition. They were able to make accommodations for her AND they were able to do X-rays and examine her mouth. No dentist has ever been able to do that! I’m absolutely impressed by their patience and kindness! Babygirl also has no cavities! Thank you Dr. Ali, Amber, Jallyah, and Juana! My daughter even got some toys she loves! Will definitely be back for next checkup!

Fantastic experience: We’ve had a great experience at Children’s Dental Funzone in Ontario. The staff is very friendly and takes the time to clearly communicate expectations and costs, which makes the process stress-free. The front office does a wonderful job building rapport with parents and is always accommodating when it comes to working around school and work schedules. The check-in process is quick and easy, and I love that there are plenty of kids’ stations to keep little ones entertained and distracted before treatment. The entire team works hard to make sure children feel safe, comfortable, and happy throughout their visit. It’s a relief as a parent to know your child is being cared for in such a positive environment. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: My son has been coming here for many years and I couldn’t be happier with his dentist. Our prior dentist caused a lot of trauma to both me & my son. Switching dentists was the best decision I made when it comes to my son’s dental needs. I would highly recommend Dental Fun Zone. All of the staff, not just the dentist are so nice.

Fantastic experience: Every visit is fast and efficient. Everyone is nice to the kids and treats accordingly. My 4 year old ask they hygienist to please brush slowly and she did so making it a good visit. Both my kids get excited for visits because they know it means toys at the end which helps.

Fantastic experience: I have three kids that go here they all love it. They love the tablets and the fish tank and the extra activities they do for the kids. My 8 year old has a fear of dentist and the dentist knows how to calm her down by explaining everything to her I will not be changing unless I move away. They are the best

Fantastic experience: My son had his first appointment on Friday and had to have a cavity refilled. He is a VERY nervous kid and has to be put under general anesthesia for dental work. I was worried but he needed to be seen soon. I was given a dental appointment the very next day. When you walk in it’s very welcoming and everyone is very nice and sweet. He felt nervous but he was reassured by the dentist. The dentist was fabulous and he actually had a great experience! He had little to no pain and isn’t scared of the dentist anymore! So glad we found him! Highly recommended!

Positive experience: It was our first time there. It was over a 30 minute wait even though I had an appointment. The temperature was kind of muggy, seemed stuffy in there. And the doctor seemed to be rushing. I’m going to look into finding another child dental office.

Negative experience: I have been very disappointed with this pediatric dental clinic. Every time we arrive on time for our appointment, we end up waiting about 40 minutes before being seen. The staff, including the dentist and assistants, show no apology or concern for the long wait. During my child’s recent cleaning, the procedure lasted less than 20 seconds. When I questioned whether such a short cleaning could be thorough, I was told, “Children’s teeth are smaller than adults’ teeth.” That explanation did not inspire confidence. Regardless of the size of the teeth, I expect a proper, careful cleaning—not something that feels rushed or superficial. The overall attitude of the staff is unprofessional and dismissive. As a parent, I worry whether my child is receiving appropriate care or if this is simply a waste of time and resources. I will be looking for another clinic that values both patients’ time and quality of treatment.

Fantastic experience: Nice office and so helpful.. they take the patient right away if you have something urgent

Positive experience: All staff is professional. However, I recall reading when I first came not to bring other children that are not going to be seen. Apparently most people disregard this bringing up to 4 or 5 small children. And it’s not the kids fault. Facility is not big enough in the lobby or in the primary area to hold a bunch of people. It’s extremely loud and chaotic. It’s not a place to look forward to if you had a bad day. My respect for the employees for their patience.

Fantastic experience: My daughter receives ortho here at children’s dental FunZone and I just wanted to give recognition to Rose who works in the front. She has such a welcoming presence the minute you walk in the door! Her smile truly lights up the room! Also Jeremy, you are a true blessing! My daughter has high anxiety and during her initial appointment for braces he walked her through every step, he told her everything he was doing, answered all her questions and was kind and gentle with her! Your heart and genuine soul is unmatched! The world truly needs more people like the two of you! All the staff is amazing, there and they are deserve recognition we were just blessed to have the two of you cross our paths today. Thank you!

The staff is very friendly and after their visit they get toys! Sometimes they have balloons or face painting as well! Overall great environment for kids!

Negative experience: Lately, staff has been giving me Saturday appointments when the dentist is closed on that Saturday. Strict on their grace period for consumers but when they give us an appointment we are being seen 45 to 50 min after our appointment time. Ridiculous guideline they have. I asked to speak to the manager and manager never called me back.

Positive experience: My experience taking my daughter here has always been great. The staff is friendly and made my daughter feel comfortable! Also, they wait for services was not long.

Childrens' movies are always playing in the lobby and in the check up chairs and even in the rooms when they have to work on a cavity. They are quick, polite, and, most importantly, they are gentle with the children. I've not had any complaints in 10 years and I'm very happy to have found Childrens dental fun zone

Positive experience: They do not do same day service. They scheduled me to come back 3weeks for a tooth extraction. I went to another dentist that same day and they were able to help me get my kids tooth removed. As a single mom don’t have time keep going back and forth.

Negative experience: Braces are still cutting into my cheek. You determined it was causes by a baby tooth and proceeded to remove it. The problem persists. I continue to to be in pain bleeding at times.

Fantastic experience: Receptionists are friendly. My daughter loved the environment. This office is bright and colorful, there's a nice built in fish tank to add to the patients waiting experience. There are tablets built in to the walls which my daughter loved and also three wall mounted plasma tvs with Disney/Nickelodeon movies playing. Even I loved that part :) . I was also given the chance to enter a raffle to win a Free bicycle for my daughter just by reviewing the office and letting other future patients know about this office . She was extremely nervous getting her root canal procedure done and let me tell you guys that if I can rate Dr.phan more than a 5 star I would. Maryann explained herself thoroughly on what was happening and what was going to be done. They both made daughter feel comfortable and relaxed during her procedure. Made sure that this wasn’t a traumatic experience for her as she was already under the impression that dentists are scary. Let me tell you she walked in crying and sad and walked out smiling and happy on how good she was treated by Dr.phan and Maryann. Highly recommended to request her.

Fantastic experience: The best care. Have been coming here for years. Zero complaints. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait but theres usually some kind of wait anywhere you go. Kiddos are happy to come here. The environment is so beautiful. Fish theme, live fish tank with "Dori and Nemo" fish inside, tablets available for kiddos in waiting room, and Disney movies playing throughout the inside. Very effective staff. Dentist is awesome with kiddos and sure knows how to distract them so they don't get too fidgety. Employees are on it. Im very happy with all the service.

Fantastic experience: We have had two visits here and absolutely love it. My sister in law recommended this place for my toddler. Check in is very quick and there are plenty of seats in the waiting area. They do have tablets on the wall for kids to play, a huge fishtank, and kid shows / movies playing in the waiting room too. The exam is pretty straight forward and the dental assistants are always super nice. The dentist is always friendly and answers all questions that I have. My daughter always receives a toy during her visit here which makes it soo much better of an experience. Such a great clinic to check out for your children!

Fantastic experience: My son's first dental appointment. He's 5 years old and has sensory issues they were very accommodating towards his needs, and didn't make us feel judged when he had a few meltdowns. They gave him lots of toys and even an award for no cavaties and a balloon.

Negative experience: We’ve been visiting this dental clinic since my child was 3. Weekday appointments were manageable, but once my child started school and we switched to weekends, things went downhill. Weekend visits are chaotic. Even with a scheduled appointment and arriving 10 minutes early, we were told to expect a one-hour wait. When I questioned the delay, the front desk staff gave a dismissive response—as if this was normal and I shouldn’t be surprised. Initially, I didn’t leave a negative review because I figured many parents already had similar complaints. But what really pushed me to speak up was my experience at another pediatric dental office, which highlighted how much we were missing here. At the other dental office, the dentist took the time to review X-rays with me and pointed out early cavities forming between teeth and another condition—things not visible to the eye but clearly seen in the images. I was shocked, because the previous dentist here never discussed any findings, despite taking X-rays regularly. It made me question whether they even reviewed the images at all. The dentist at Kids Fun Zone would spend barely one rushed minute checking my child’s teeth, with no real explanation or interaction. In my opinion, this clinic is more focused on profit over patient care—overbooking appointments to the point where quality is sacrificed. I no longer trust them with my child’s dental health, and I would encourage other parents to look elsewhere if you’re seeking thorough and attentive care.

Negative experience: Had our first appt this week. Dr seemed very nice however we could feel the attitude from his staff from the second we walked in. They were not welcoming. I will say, the girl that made my appointment over the phone seemed nice but since then all of my phone interactions were not good either. No one wants to spend money somewhere where they aren’t comfortable. There are much better offices out there, I’d suggest looking somewhere else.

Negative experience: Good nursing service but bad dental experience from dentist that refused to admit the fault that black spot on the tooth just been filled couples weeks ago and I paid hundreds dollars for this kind of work. Dentist finally redo it and just polish and leave a hole on the tooth without filling it up and insist that is how he can fix! Poorly handled and unprofessional. Avoid this place !

Fantastic experience: Everytime I come the whole staff is very friendly ! All 4 of my kids go to this office. The doctor is very patient and nice to my kids and I. This is a perfect place for kids to go ! They give toys, rewards and stickers and even had TV and ipads and a fish tank in the front office

Negative experience: I didn't want to comment because it was a few months ago. But after seeing so many negative reviews, I decided to share. My son had a dental treatment last October to remove a tooth that had a crown but was not working. Of course, since my son is less than 6 years old, he needs a space retainer. I had several dental treatments here before and my son was very well behaved, he just watched TV quietly and didn't need any blankets to wrap him. There was a dentist named Alyee (I'm not sure if I spelled it correctly) and the first few times were very good and my son was very relaxed. But when I changed the last treatment, everything changed. First my son wanted to watch the Super Mario movie, which was available in other treatment rooms, but the nurse told me that the room we were in didn't have it. I was very frustrated at the time (because my son has some special conditions and only certain things can make him better). At that time, I made a very bad decision to let my child continue to stay there. Then the doctor came (first time seeing him), he DID NOT say anything,DID NOT CHECK the medical records, even the nurse asked him: "Mom said a space retainer will be installed today, right?" The doctor said: "I don't know, check the computer." I was thinking: "WHAT??? You don't even know what you are going to do, you are going to sit down and treat my son?" The next situation was even worse.my son cried and could hardly breathe, but the 3 girls held my child hard, my heart was broken. I have never seen my son collapse like this. After the treatment was completed, my son cried for a long time in my arms and fell asleep, because I knew that he was too tired from the shock. I hope this dental clinic knows that you are a place to serve children, you need to have enough patience. Instead of treating them rudely, the nurses are too young, they may not even have children, it is difficult for them to know how to communicate with kids. The most important point is that they asked me to sign ALL the documents before doing any treatment, There should be a document that contains all the treatment information and costs, but I also need to sign it in advance. which I think is wrong. And I DID NOT get ANY COPY!!

Negative experience: While this establishment is designated for children, the front staff and dental assistants did not exhibit a particularly friendly or welcoming demeanor. They displayed a certain degree of attitude when my daughter made a request for a toothbrush. Additionally, my daughter required two teeth to be extracted, and the staff did not perform adequately in terms of reassuring her or helping her to feel at ease. They engaged in minimal communication with her.

Fantastic experience: Loved it. The staff was very courteous and helped easy my children's resistance and was very child friendly to the fear of the dentist.

Negative experience: AVOID THIS PLACE. Took my child one day, was told would receive antibiotics when walking out and the prescription was never sent to the pharmacy. Called multiple times to get it sent and after 2 days I had to take her to another dentist where her tooth was so bad it was extracted. I believe it could have been avoided with antibiotics. Also note, if you call close to their closing time they will "put you on hold" until they close and when you call back you are transferred to another office where they say they will forward a message. Trash. I will keep an eye on my insurance to make sure they didn't charge services not provided.

Fantastic experience: When I chose this office, I didn't know what to expect. When we arrived the staff was pleasant and warm. The activities they had for the children was very helpful while waiting. Then we met Dr. Ali who is incredible and knowledgeable about pediatric dentistry. All of the staff are wonderful and helpful. Our daughter will continue to be a patient here.

Fantastic experience: So far my daughter has had 3 appointments here, most recent today (2/19/25) and have had a great experience every single time. The first time i went was when my daughter was 10 months old and i had a concern, they made me an appt and the doctor was very reassuring that everything was normal with her. They then made me an appt for 6 months later and then this most recent appt today for her check up and cleaning. She is almost 2 years old now and did soooo good at her appointment and loved the staff and doctor. They were gentle with her when examining her mouth and brushing her teeth. She didn't cry and she wasn't scared of them at all. Thank you guys for being so great with my daughter!

Negative experience: worst supporting staff that i experience on 12/07. billing staff sent statement without explanation. Called office to get explaination for billing. The only answer i got was " calling your insurance" without giving me any further explanation such as for what procedure or number to call... then even said " i do not undersand you" then hung up. Then later the day I got a " bomb call from the office" this person stating i must have talked to someone elese not the office. In stead of apologizing for the action of the staff, this person even told he is going to take my son spot away from the office without my consent, he disturbed my time and attention questioned me even made me more irritated. I wanted to forget the case but he made the situation worse

Negative experience: I wouldn’t recommend this place for anybody child. please don’t be fooled by the colorful and bright decor. The pediatric dentist removed my sons tooth and failed to be responsible enough to let us know that he left a piece of the tooth that he wasn’t able to remove and also the staff never mentioned to us that the dentist wasn’t able to completely remove my son tooth. Now we have to pay for a Surgery to remove the remainder of the tooth that was never removed properly from the beginning and again the pediatric dentist failed to notify us that he wasn’t able to remove the tooth properly. It’s a shame and state board will be notified . This isn’t professional and i reached out to the office and never heard back from anyone.

Negative experience: came here about a year ago and this place claims to specialize with special needs kids but they do not at all, took my little brother here with my mom and the workers just looked at us like we were crazy for bringing my little brother in, he is special needs so of course he did have a panic episode and was struggling to relax but the workers were literally asking why we “brought” my little brother here ?? like for what else would we bring him here for..? huh? did they think we brought him there just because?? the workers and company is a joke don’t bring your special needs kids here they’re clearly used to only working with “normal” functioning kids

Negative experience: Zero stars if I could! After deciding to give them a SECOND opportunity, I truly regretted it. My son was rescheduled to get work done via sedation 2 times due to cough/allergies which is understandable. However i expressed that my son was in allot of pain and was effecting his eating to Aidee, I had asked her if we could at least get that tooth that he is complaining about worked on asap without the iv sedation. She said she would “put him in the asap list” and give me a call and put him down for next months iv sedation for the rest of the work. I asked her 3 times before I left if he was down for the appointment for the next iv sedation, AND asked if I need to book an appointment just in case she assured me he was in the books and that since I need an emergent appointment that I do not need to schedule that as soon as there is an opening or cancelation she’ll give me a call. Never once got a call. When I called they said he had no appointment for For iv and no notes on anything. She then stated she would talk to Aidee and she’ll give me a call back. I never received anything, I called a second time and the lady said she didn’t know why she wasn’t returning my call. I explained to her the whole situation which at least she was sympathetic At that but got nothing resolved. Please do better for the patients that you still have!!

Negative experience: The receptionist Brooke was very unprofessional. I've brought both my kids here plenty of times. As a matter of fact, I was here earlier at 1030 for one of my son's appointments. Told them I'd be back later for my older son since he's in school. Came back and all of a sudden I had to prove I'm the father of my son? How was this not an issue earlier. Her attitude didn't help either. Hope she gets the help she needs or send her back to training. Very rude. Great way to lose patients. Thanks alot Brooke for the horrible experience. Would be 0 zero stars if possible. After reading the reviews, seems like I'm not the only one who feels this way about Brooke, read the reviews, she's the girl with the neck tattoo everyone's talking about. Cmon Nick. If that's you in the office, you can't keep on turning a blind eye to this issue. Poor management produces poor performance. If I'm wrong, prove me wrong. If I'm right, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

Negative experience: My child has cavities, but the dentist didn’t give us any advice on what to pay attention to in the future, didn’t explain the causes, and didn’t advise my child on cutting back on sugar or how to brush his teeth properly. The only thing they did was have the nurse tell me the cost and what the insurance would cover, and they scheduled another appointment without explaining what it’s for. It felt very irresponsible. After this treatment, we won’t be coming back to this clinic. The dentist seems very busy and maybe just doesn’t have time to talk.

Fantastic experience: This morning after my 3 young daughters appointments we witnessed a father with 3 little girls of his own, act outrageously disrespectful with staff, cursing at them with inappropriate language in front of many other children and primarily moms in the waiting room feeling uncomfortable and unsafe. He threaded the staff and demanded them to call the police on him. My daughters were in tears and felt unsafe! As we were ready to leave, my youngest grabbed me and said, “No Mommy, please!” Expressing to me that she didn’t want to walk by him. So, I ask the man to please move over, so we can go by and leave. He refused to move aside. The staff apologized to everyone in the room. After several attempts of asking him to move and he refusing to do so, a staff member by the name of Nick, placed himself in front of the man, protecting my daughters and me from having to walk by the unpredictable man. I drive from Victorville for this dentist office for my girls because they are professional, explain everything step by step, they try to see how they can help you out, and they are great with the children. Now I have a higher level of respect for the staff because they showed that they care for the safety of their patients too. Nick thank you very much for handling the situation promptly, properly, and professionally, doing what you did for us, and I am thankful that it didn’t escalate further.

Negative experience: This is the worst dental place I have ever visit, I will be calling my insurance to switch dentist. Front office is so rude, nothing is the same since Luis is no longer there. Now I understand why there's always new faces, but they never get it right, the new girl with short hair & tattoo on her neck is so unprofessional chewing gum while talking to the patients, I was there last week, and everything was out of service the restroom, the AC it was so hot, I asked and they said it was due to not having water in the building. They should have called all the patients and canceled. Everyone was in a bad mood including management. I will never bring my grandkids to this awful place again.
