Negative experience: Doors were closed without warning. We had taken our boys for one visit. We found out from the orthodontist that they were closing their doors!

Negative experience: Never wrote a review before, but they hubby suggested I do. I don’t want to go into so much detail. But I didn’t experience a very welcoming atmosphere, I was met with comments I felt were unprofessional when I stated I didn’t want something done. And the price for 2 of my kids felt like a money grab. Took them to an old location, and the price for my 2 kids was significantly less.

He also spends time to get to know your children. Both Lizzy and Nat were especially upbeat, funny and friendly with us. My kids feel safe here when getting teeth work done and cleanings. I have two autistic sons and they do amazing here grate and thankful for all the hard work they do here at the office

Negative experience: Would never recommend this business to anyone. We overpaid almost $1200 on our daughter's braces. A bit of a back story on how we ended up overpaying.. we started the braces with one insurance and added secondary insurance 5 months in to care. I should have never assumed that Burg would know how to proceed with this issue. 18 months into my daughter's care, (January 2025) sat down and went over all the payments we made out of pocket and went over EOBs from insurances and found the overpayment. I brought this to the office manager, Cynthia's attention. The phone call turned very bad and I became ghetto. Cynthia insisted that we did not over pay. I then continued to call other burg locations to try and find a corporate phone number, but this company does not have one. I left a message for a higher up and still have not received a call. Then come April 2025 I had my husband contact them to check the status and demand refund. He was told, "yes there was an overpayment and it will take some time to get that mailed out." My husband explained that we do not have much time as we are moving to Arizona in May. We ended moving in May with no refund. June 2025 my husband calls again to give them our new address and request the refund be sent there. WE STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED A REFUND and come to find out this office also owes us an adjustment due to us moving. In their contract it clearly states that they will prorate if you move out of state!! It is July 29th and still have not received the prorated and overpayment refund!! That's just the financial part of it. We ended up seeing another orthodontist here in Tucson and the orthodontist was concerned about the fact that my daughter had braces for 18 months and never once wore rubber bands nor did burg remove her surgically placed chain to bring down an impacted tooth, in time and now my daughter has one tooth that looks way bigger than any other teeth. Her teeth also did not line up as they should, he said her brackets were placed crooked. The new orthodontist removed everything burg had done and my daughter has to wear braces for an additional 12 months because of how bad Burg did and we have to pay an additional $2100. Thank you Burg, you've really helped my family! Burg is the worst orthodontics I've ever experienced.

Negative experience: I’m extremely disappointed with the front desk staff. Their behavior has been consistently unprofessional and disrespectful, seemingly influenced by resentment toward a former employee who is a family member of ours. It’s clear they’re going out of their way to create unnecessary obstacles for us, making it difficult for our child to be seen.We were asked for unreasonable information, and when we questioned it, we were given misleading answers—specifically being told they couldn’t look up insurance information using a Social Security number, even though I was able to do it myself. This felt like a deliberate attempt to inconvenience us.It’s unfortunate that personal biases are affecting patient care, especially when it involves a child. We expected better.

Negative experience: This place is a complete joke! My daughter was brought in for an appointment I scheduled, but they refused to see her because the mother wasn’t present. Never before have I had an issue anywhere with my daughter at an appointment. To make matters worse the people working the front desk are completely disrespectful, unprofessional, and unhelpful. Talking very condescending and with attitudes when asked questions. Sorry you’re inconvenienced by you having to do your job. I would highly recommend NOT going to this place as they don’t seem to care about anyone but themselves.

Negative experience: Because of my insurance, the dentist/orthodontist was very difficult to work with. My daughter felt like they just didn't care at all, even though she had work done at a different location. Dentist said she needed to get everything done all over again. I would stay away from any of the locations, they do not warranty any work done. Definitely seems like a scam.

Fantastic experience: First time bringing my kids here for their first dental visit ever and everyone is so nice and easy going. No one made us feel bad. I love that they have little somethings for after the visit for the kids. I will definitely keep them as out dentist and highly recommend to anyone. I continue to go here and each time has been amazing.

Negative experience: A couple of weeks ago, my wife called in to set up an a consult appointment for her step daughter, my daughter. I work 4x10s M-Th, so my wife, who is a stay at home Mom makes calls for stuff like to this. She was given grief in an unprofessional way about not being a guardian, even though it plan was to always have me, a guardian, would be present. When we arrived at the appointed time, the reception greeted us and provided us with paperwork to get started. Some of the information seemed intrusive for a consult. I wasn't feeling comfortable sharing some of the requested information for a consult. If we had chosen to use Burg Children's Dentistry & Orthodontics, yes I would provide the requested information We were asked if we had any questions, I asked about the need to sign a financial agreement, they could not give me a good reason why it was needed other than that is what the Home Office required for their policies. I responded it was my policy to not sign financial agreement information before making any agreement to service and I would gladly sign the financial agreement. if an agreement to service was made. I would sign that as part of the signing of all contracts related to entering into a service agreement. I was informed, as we were standing to leave, that they also reserve the right to not serve anyone of their choosing. Which would have been understandable if we were not already in the way out the door. I would demand stars back, if that was possible to do in a review. 1 Star is too good for the way we were treated.

Fantastic experience: My daughter has been going to Dr. Burgs from about 4 years old. She had to be put under at 4 years old to do some work and they did amazing. She is now 11 years old has had a few cavities and she still has no idea that they use shots to numb her up. She just told her cousin she has a cavity. Her cousin told her your going to get shots! My daughter told her oh my dentist doesn't use shots lol. She had her orthodontist appointment to get her ready for braces. They have an awesome payment plan and give you a few options. The staff is amazing and very patient! I have older kids and have experience with different dentists through the years and Dr Bugs dentists are hands down the best!!

Negative experience: The dismissive behavior of the office manager Cynthia when I respectfully requested a waiver for the late fee was quite upsetting. Despite my proactive communication about my daughter's impending arrival just 13 minutes past the scheduled time, and explaining that my husband's occasional tardiness is due to being a stroke survivor, no understanding was shown. This lack of grace is particularly disheartening considering my family's 12-year patronage, during which time I have consistently been punctual. The way this was handled has left me deeply disappointed, and I would hesitate to recommend this location to others. I felt genuinely discriminated against.

Negative experience: A couple of minutes over the cut off and getting charged $35 for a no show when I was there. Would have been a fast easy appointment, maybe 2 minutes at most. Don't mind not being seen as much as being charged when we were there, just a couple minutes over.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Harris is wonderful! My children have had a great experience. The staff is great and friendly. Colby, the Lab Tech, has been phenomenal working on options for my son who grinds his teeth. We really appreciate his thoughtfulness and dedication to helping my son!

Positive experience: It was a horrible visit. Doctor Smith treat my 17 year old horrible and when I tried to talk to him about his attitude towards my daughter he was giving me the same attitude that he gave to my daughter . I asked to talk to the supervisor and guess what he was the supervisor. Honestly I don't recommend this place to anyone. If you love your kids please don't go right there.

Fantastic experience: Burg Dentistry gets us in very quickly when we call them with tooth problems. We've been coming here for a few years and we've never had any issues. My child is excited to go to the dentist because of the prizes he gets and the shows he gets to watch. We had another great experience at Burg Dentistry today. Keep up the good work, everyone!

Negative experience: Worst experience I’ve had in the last 5 years we’ve been with this place. Usually everyone is so nice and friendly and really amazing with my kiddos and I. At least the dentist is still fantastic and was the only one nice to us today. Yes I was apologized to for the mix up but it doesn’t excuse for the way you spoke and treated me in the beginning of the visit. I left feeling like I was inferior and beneath people.

Fantastic experience: I have invisalign with Burg. I'm about half way through the process and its been very straightforward. I go in once a month to pick up new trays. I swap them out once a week. I can definitely see the progress. I have 40 trays total and it was estimated to take 11 months to one year.

Negative experience: It is incredibly hard to get a person on the phone. I have been trying for over a week. It will ring twice then go to voicemail, which is also useless. I haven’t received a callback for 4 days now. This has happened on multiple occasions. The Vine street location is top tier. When I moved to West Valley I wanted to stay with Burg. This West Valley location is shite. We’ve had about 4-5 visits here and only once my experience was satisfactory and it was the nurse who was great. My daughter is on the spectrum and this nurse was so patient and kind. She is why this place is getting two stars. Nothing else.

Positive experience: They were efficient and the staff were friendly. The person that took my young 3 year old, the dental hygienist had high expectations for her first time. Didn’t seem to know how to help her and expected her to lay down. My daughter wasn’t having it. But I’m hoping next time it’ll go better. I have an autistic son and he wasn’t able to make it but I asked what kind things they do to help accommodate kids with autism. He said he leaves it up to the parents and that they try to be accommodating to each child. Which I appreciated that they are more flexible with that type of thing.

Fantastic experience: Love this location always has the best customer service. I love how they treat my kids. I’ve been going here since my first daughter. She’s now eight I bring all three of my kids here just took my son there for his first appointment at 12 months and they did amazing with him, very professional and helpful.

Fantastic experience: The Orthodontist and his assistant made my daughter feel comfortable and happy. She usally is nervous whenever I tell her she has a denist appointment. This was her first appointment seeing an orthodontist and she is asking when she can go back. They were very kind and gave her prizes to make the experience great for her. Thank you!

Negative experience: Once you pick an ortho place understand you’ll have to frequent there often. It seems like the staff here, however long they’re around have a habit of having a lot of attitude or being off putting. Some of them really act like they’re very miserable at their workplace. There’s not an explanation for their behavior. It’s really a shame because the main orthodontist is very nice. Most of the time you’re in the hands of the staff. Considering its a kids orthodontist establishment, I hope they pick out the bad apples although it seems they come in like clockwork.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had her braces put on today and it was a great experience! The dental assistant that worked with her was very thorough and helped my daughter feel comfortable and calm. She was funny and sang camp rock songs while she worked. That helped a lot with my daughter’s anxiety. Dr. Harris was amazing! He explained everything in layman’s terms for me so I understood what the plan would be going forward. Thanks Burg for making our experience a great one!

Fantastic experience: Looked at loose teeth and encouraged my child to wiggle them. Made a plan in case they need to be pulled. Also encouraged my child to floss more. But said it in an encouraging way that was helpful for my child.

Negative experience: Worst orthodontic experience I've experienced. They're overbooked, can't schedule patients when they need to be seen, then threaten "dismissal" because THEY scheduled too far out. And this after they felt the need to remind me how many times they've called me (I've been calling for two days only to be put on hold every time I call), but you need to plan free time during the day if you need to have a conversation with them so you can jump through their hoops. When I tried to explain my frustration, they again tried to make it my problem. Communication sucks, and they're not willing to listen or improve. There's a lot of orthodontists around. This office works against me, not with me. This is the last kiddo of mine that will be treated by Burg.

Fantastic experience: Burgs Ortho is West Valley has by far provided superior service. They are always curtious and professional. Its usually rather quick to make an appointment. Their office is tidy and welcoming. Wonderful staff.
