Fantastic experience: Very good and clean, everyone there were very helpful and professional!

Negative experience: Went in for an exam tried to get me to do a bunch of root canals. They wanted to charge $3000 for one root canal. I wanted the x-rays to get a second opinion and I have to pay to get my own x-rays that I paid them to take absolutely terrible place. I would never use them.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Hajji is a great dentist ,got my teeth cleaned an cavities filled ,an my crowns are next. so if your looking for a good dentist I highly recommend him an his team ..

Fantastic experience: We had a great experience here! Both my 5 year old and 3 year old felt comfortable and all the office staff & hygienists were very kind and welcoming! It was our first time and we will be making this our regular dentists office.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Jacob is the best. I was very angry/ frustrated that after a year, and 50k on full upper and lower implants, no one was listening or even trying to address my fit / finish / comfort issues. Within 10 mins of listening / 10 mins of grinding/fileing, he improved the feel / fit markedly. I am not 100% where I feel comfortable yet, but he asked me to come back in 6 months, and I am happy to do that. Thanks to Desiree as well for coordinating my appointment. CJP

Negative experience: Horrible experience here. Never explained what exactly I agreed to as I thought I was getting my tooth actually fixed, wasn't looking for a denture and charged $65 for nitrous. Would not recommend.

Dr. Jacob’s was extremely nice & explained all work that is necessary to do immediately to avoid other problems from occurring & what procedures can wait till a later date. He was extremely helpful by showing me each tooth from the x-rays and the necessary work needed if any. I would highly recommend Dr. Jacob’s at Bright Side Dental.

Negative experience: Recently went back to Dr. Jacobs to see about a dental issue. He suggested an expensive procedure. Staff said I had to pay half done to make the next appt. Which I went ahead and did. My husband suggested I get a second opinion. Which I did. When I went to cancel the appt and ask for refund they said they could not refund it to my credit card which is the way I paid them. I It would have to go through the approval process and IF approved they would send me a check. I called them 2 weeks later to see if they sent the check and they claim they did. Now a month later and I still don't have my money back.

Negative experience: IF I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE 0 STARS I WOULD!! If you are a person of color especially a woman… PLEASE be careful of this rude and discriminatory place! Dr.Mark Jacobs was highly rude and lacked compassion with me telling him about my consistent wisdom tooth pain. He told me I was basically faced with pain or fear of the surgery and that nothing would help my pain besides getting the teeth removed ASAP right at that time. He had a very rude and nasty tone with me and as a scared and concerned patient, I did not feel safe here at all. He also stated that he could pull the teeth immediately but he talked to me like I was less than and unworthy — therefore I proceeded to leave the establishment without getting the surgery done. I will never be back to this dentist office, and I hope all of the staff here learns that everyone is a person with feelings and emotions and it takes nothing to be kind and considerate to everyone.

Fantastic experience: Had a dental emergency and my regular dentist office was closed. Bright side dental was able to see me very early on a Saturday when I woke in pain. I need a root canal and everyone was accommodating, efficient and just about the nicest and most pleasant people I could have been around in such a rough time. Not to mention I have anxiety and panic attacks, they were super understanding about that too. Considering changing dentists now.

Fantastic experience: Had a bad abscess with nowhere to go: my dentist's office was closed. I walked in and they helped me. Very fast registration, I was in the waiting room for less than 5 minutes. All staff were very friendly. Thank you for helping me!

Negative experience: I have been a patient of Bright side dental for years. I recently had a bad experience there. They suggested a procedure and ran it through my insurance. Told me this is what I need to pay and I would be done. I had the money at the time. Few months later I get billed for WELL over $100. And they are not nice with their messages on the bill. Throwing words in all CAPS like they are hollering at you. It is YOUR responsibility . CLAIMS THAT ARE NOT PAID FOLLOWING 90 DAYS FROM DATE OF SERVICE......I sat in the office one day for my appointment and listened to the girl behind the window call all of the patients that were running behind. Being rude and saying IF YOU ARE NOT HERE IN 10 MINUTES YOUR APPOINTMENT WILL BE CANCELLED AT YOUR EXPENSE AND YOU WILL HAVE TO RESCHEDULE. Like really? Most of the time I sit for at least 20 minutes before I am called back and then wait longer than that for the dentist to come in and check me out after the cleaning. There is such a thing called Head Heart and Hero in the customer service world. Bright Side Dental needs to learn this. Use your Head and Heart and be a Hero. There is enough negativity in this world. I am their client, they are not mine. I will be finding a dentist who is more caring about their patients than how much of a profit I am.

Positive experience: The staff was very nice and everyone was super accommodating But I had to spend $100 to make an appointment with their specialist and I've never had to pay that much to just make an appointment when all he will be doing is a consultation I also had to pay an $80 co-pay on the spot for my first appointment It was just very inconvenient and expensive.

Fantastic experience: My hygienist Bianca and the staff are very nice, friendly and professional. I would like to give a special shout out to the office manager Desiree! (Yes to the office manager) lol. She went above and beyond in making me happy when I really didn’t have a complaint She scheduled me a service right away and when I sat in the chair she came back to say hi and to assist the tech as needed. (I kinda felt like royalty. lol and who says that at the dentist.) Desiree even brought one of the dentists in when I was done and THAT Dentist was great too! It was a great experience there. She’s an absolute Rock Star!! That’s how a Dentistry is supposed to run!! Thank you Desiree!

Fantastic experience: I have not been to a dentist in a long time because I wanted to find a good demtist to help me get my dental health back on track andI happen to come across Bright Side Dental. Everybody was so nice and pleasant I felt very comfortable.the receptionist,Dentist,Dental assistant were all Excellent. I'm glad I went.

Negative experience: I did like the doctor and my consultation was good. I waited 45 minutes for a price out of services. If I had known this would have taken this long, I would have had second thoughts of waiting. I had an another dentist come in and go over my X-rays as well. I’m not sure why

Negative experience: Never go to bright side dental in Livonia. The staffs are rude and arrogant. The doctor has a smart mouth , does not care about your well being, only money. They made me sign up for Sunbit even though I have insurance through Aflac and tried to charge me for services that I never receive except an x ray. They try to ruin my credit and won’t cancel Sunbit. So basically they want to ruin my credit because they claim my insurance never paid for the X-ray, I reached out to my insurance and they said bright side never put in a claim for me. I call the doctor he said well I knew what I was signing up for as if it’s a joking matter to him. I’ll make sure they don’t get paid I’m going to get another bank card and dispute Sunbit on my account it’s more than one way to skin a cat

Fantastic experience: I lost my crown and I was an urgent need of a new front tooth. They worked with me through financing and was able to give me three options. One I was able to afford and they put a temporary crown in that day, they were efficient, friendly , and understanding. They listen to my needs and I am very thankful.

Negative experience: I was charged $62 for the office visit, even though my insurance clearly stated I should not be charged anything. When it came to deep cleaning, they asked me to pay 10% out-of-pocket, despite my plan confirming that deep cleanings are covered 100%. Overall, this was a disappointing visit

Fantastic experience: I had a pain free deep cleaning that was almost enjoyable. That’s right...!!! Even the novocaine shots went smoothly & were barely noticeable...now that’s amazing. Dr Jacob & Wendy (my hygienist) were experts -patient with my questions, thorough in their answers, detailed in their insurance cost estimates & most importantly - skilled professionals. EVERYONE in the office was committed to my satisfaction & comfort. I give them my most enthusiastic, & highest recommendation.

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency situation with a substantial size bridge falling out on my birthday! I contacted the office in Livonia and from the nice and helpful ladies answering the phone all the way to the dental hygienist and dentist, it was an extremely positive experience.

Negative experience: This office is honestly so disgusting and dirty they clearly do not clean well or vacuum. There staff were very snotty and rude to me and my wife including the doctor I would never come back here! IF YOU DONT LIKE YOUR JOB QUIT.

Fantastic experience: My appointment was for a cleaning. Wendy is the Hygentist I normally see. She is great! Wendy is gentle and makes you feel comfortable while you are with her. I am extremely happy with Dr Jacobs and the entire team at Brightside Dental in Livonia. If you are looking for a new dental team, I suggest yougive this practice a try.

Fantastic experience: Thank God for Dr Nasser and Bright Side dental. I came in needing a tooth pulled, they didn’t put me off, they didn’t try to do a cleaning and have me come back for the extraction. They took X-rays went over a dental plan and told me my options, and took care of me. Everyone was nice friendly and professional. The office is big and very clean. Yes, I recommend this office to anyone who’s looking for a good dentist in a clean friendly environment.

Negative experience: Grandmother had a crown replacement and wisdom teeth removed. The dentist (Dr. Jacobs) advised her to take her prescription pain medicine asap don’t wait. We have been waiting since 3PM today for the script to appear at her local pharmacy. Nothing. We’ve called several times spoke with front desk and was assured they would send the medicine as soon as the dentist was available to send the script electronically. He was not available as he was with patients at that time. It is 5:47 PM no medicine available and phones go straight to voicemail when we called back around 5 PM. Google says they close at 6:30 PM. No one is at the building and we just left at 5:48 PM. This is very disappointing. We won’t consider this office as a dental option going forward. Unfortunately, my grandmother is without pain medicine until tomorrow after having her wisdom teeth removed on one side and a crown replacement prepped on the other. SMH first impression is not going well for the administrative staff. Dental clinical staff was great.

Negative experience: Went in to have 2 teeth pulled and the dentist was brutal with force pushing down on my jaw to get pressure to the point where 5 days later it still hurts to move my mouth, not the hole where the teeth were but my actual jaw. This morning I noticed that the stitches were loose in my mouth so I decided to take a look in the mirror to see how things were healing only to find out that the dentist did not completely remove either of the 2 teeth that they were supposed to pull as there’s big chunks of teeth still in the holes as visible in the picture. Did the dentist tell me about this before I left? Absolutely not. You might be asking why I didn’t notice that I still had pieces of teeth still in my mouth, well the dentist who “pulled” my teeth actually stitched part of my cheek to the gum covering up the remaining pieces of my teeth.

Your cost is given to you upfront. All your treatment is spaced out and the recommendation are your discretion. But they will give advice for the betterment of a nice smile

Fantastic experience: Listen-anyone suffering from tooth pain reading this that is thinking they are too scared/nervous to go to a dentist...you CAN do it, and you should go here!! Im an adult who was BEYOND anxious/fearful of the dentist but the staff here are so wonderful, kind, and patient that it makes the experience a whole lot better and more manageable than I thought. I had an extraction and felt like the whole team was encouraging me and being so positive that I did it the same day! Tonya, Markus: you guys are the dynamic duo of positivity and good vibes, thank you for being so kind and being my personal cheerleader s! You two really make a difference in people's lives. Chris: if it weren't for you I wouldn't have had the courage to go forth with the extraction, thank you for being so considerate to my reservations and helping me make the right choice. I don't really write reviews but thought it was important to share my experience so other people will not continue to hinder their lives with dental pain for fear of the dentist.

Fantastic experience: I was very pleased with Bright Side Dental. They took X-rays and inspected my mouth and drew up a plan for fixing all my issues. I also got an antibiotic to fix an infection and go for a tooth removal on a tooth that cracked in half in a few days. Wish they accepted my insurance I would definitely be staying with them beyond the extraction but have to find a different dentist after it is done.

Fantastic experience: This was a wonderful 1st time visiting experience for me! I have an upcoming appointment for a dental cleaning with them scheduled for April and sent all of my new patient paperwork in via iPhone, but then I had a dental emergency that needed care ASAP. The really nice receptionist got me in within an hour. The lady at the front counter was super sweet and welcoming when I got there and you could see she cared about the patients as she said goodbye to them as well. Marcus (sp?) was a fabulous Dental Assistant (who will surely make an excellent Dentist someday!). He was so friendly and knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable as he explained every step of the process and gracefully guided me through it. Then Dr. Nassar was just the BEST! I have been looking for a great, HONEST Dentist, who is personable, kind, experienced and TRULY cares about your wellbeing and is looking out for your best interest. In that 1visit I found that in her and noticed everyone there is happy and friendly and that's the way it should be! It's NO fun having to go to the Dentist, but this Livonia location at Brightside Dental was just the place I needed to FINALLY find my forever Dentist. I noticed the building while driving by and then MOST IMPORTANTLY read these Google reviews to give me the information I needed to feel confident in choosing the right place and they even have a "working persons" hours of availability. I am so grateful to have found them!! UPDATE June 2024: I still love this place! The employees are all very friendly and knowledgeable and are happy to help you through anything. Dr. Damian is the best at affixing my front veneer tooth when it pops off once or twice a year. It's horrifying when your tooth pops off, but Tiffany at the front desk is always happy to help you find the soonest possible appointment for an emergency because you truly need same day when you're faced with something like that.

Positive experience: As this was my first visit and consultation of sorts. I can’t give a full review, however, they were all very nice. Very courteous on the phone and in person as well. The business was clean and more the staff was more than willing to answer questions. The place was very busy at the time I was there but I didn’t feel rushed or forgotten about. I was very pleased. I visited the Livonia location and had the pleasure of speaking not only with Livonia over the phone but also Farmington Hills.

Fantastic experience: Saw Dr Jacobson Saturday for an emergency and it was by far the best experience I've had at a dentist. He did a root canal for me when I was so nervous and it was painless and SO easy. So happy I found this place and him.

Fantastic experience: I had a root canal and crown done recently and wanted to share my experience with Bright Side Dental. I was in unbelievable pain from a tooth ache, I couldn’t eat, I couldn’t sleep. I’m new to the area and didn’t have a regular dental office to call, Bright Side was close and they were able to get me in immediately. They have a very cozy environment and the front desk staff was very friendly. Dr. Jacob’s did my root canal and he has the hands of an angel, the area needed numbed and he was quick and precise with the injections. I’ve had several root canals in the past and this was by far the best experience I’ve had with one. Dr. Nasir did my crown and she had such a fine attention to detail, you could tell that she really takes pride in her work and wants it to come out perfect. I went to two other dentist offices afterwards to make sure every thing looked okay and they were both blown away by her craftsmanship. Their assistants, Marcus and Tanya, were both attentive and made sure I was comfortable during both procedures. I spoke briefly with the office manager, Desiree, about a scheduling conflict and she was as helpful as she was beautiful and charming. Overall I had a wonderful time and can’t wait to visit again for a cleaning.

Fantastic experience: The staff is very friendly. They explain procedures and fees very well. Dr. Damien is the best Dentist I've ever had! He's gentle, he makes sure you're okay before proceeding, he gives you a break when needed, he works with you to get the procedure done! AND he is cool! The lobby is clean, the rooms are clean, overall...Top Notch! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: Everything was quick and easy and everyone I talked to was very helpful and understanding. From my initial call to get pricing, to setting up my appointment (then changing it multiple times, thank you!!) my X-rays, cleaning all the way until I walked out the door the team was great! Fill out your paperwork online it saves a ton of time!! My X-rays were thorough and easy, Mickey cleaned my teeth and she was amazing and gentle!! Fantastic experience: I saw Dr. Damian at Bright Side when my dentist of 30 years was unable to get me in to check for a possible gum infection. I was extremely happy with the treatment I received from the entire staff. Xrays were expertly taken and treatment was discussed. I highly recommend Livonia Bright Side Dental if you're looking for a dentist.

Fantastic experience: Dr Jacobs is absolutely the best dentist I've ever had!! I can't say enough about him. He took the time to explain to me exactly what is going on in my mouth. He devised a treatment plan and answered my questions and his laid back approach put me at ease. I went in terrified and came out awestruck and relieved!!!! I never felt a thing!!! Dr Jacobs even magically made the shot through the roof of the mouth a whole lot less painful!!!! I'm so happy to have finally found a dentist that I'm not afraid of!!!!!!!!! 100 stars!!!!
