Positive experience: I cannot recommend Dr. Brett McRay highly enough! Every visit to his office has been a delight. His expertise and finesse in resolving dental issues are truly remarkable. Dr. McRay goes above and beyond to ensure that his patients are not only satisfied but also leave with a smile. The dentist is excellent, but the hygiene side of the practice needs improvement.

Fantastic experience: I had a great appointment with Dr. Robbins. I am so glad I found her as she is the best dentist I have ever had. I actually look forward to my appointments. She has a great staff, too.

Fantastic experience: There aren’t enough good things to say about The Dentists at Houston Westchase! We switched from a highly rated dental practice earlier this year due to location and haven’t looked back. I’m having an implant done and the process has been seamless and painless and my wife has had a deep cleaning…the staff is highly trained and very professional. Shout out to Brittany, my technician, who is super. Dr.’s Mcray and Robbins are true professionals providing expert, caring and knowledgeable dental care.

Fantastic experience: Update 8/27/25 Everything about the place is nice. The people, the location, everyone’s attitude, yadda yadda yadda. But here’s the best thing I say about this place - Since I have started going here I take better care of mouth and what’s inside it than I ever have in my life. Don’t know what other positive feedback I can give. Previous visits: Extremely happy with my experience here yesterday. Thanks so much. Felt like I was taken care of very well and wasn’t too crushed when the bill came. Having had a bad experience at my last dentist this was refreshing. Negative experience: Called one week in advance to confirm this place accepted my insurance. They said yes and booked the appointment for 7 AM. I asked for permission at work to arrive late due to the appointment. When I got to the doctor’s office, they collected all my personal information, including copies of both my driver’s license and insurance card. Only then did they inform me that the office is out of network. A complete waste of time—and now my personal information is out there for no reason

My dental hygienist did a fantastic job with cleaning and Dr. Kim provided elaborate info on my X-rays. For the first time in a long time, I met a dentist who really cares - I felt well taken care of . She was very concerned about me and not pushing other services - no sales pitch. Fantastic experience: I rarely write reviews, but my experiences at The Dentists at Houston Westchase have been so exceptional I felt compelled to share. The whole team from the receptionists to the hygienists to the doctors - they're all top notch and wonderful to work with. If you need dental services, there is nowhere better than this dentist's office. I've been hesitant to visit a dentist for a while due to previous poor experiences at another office, but when I was having severe jaw pain to the point where I couldn't sleep or focus on anything else I set up an emergency appointment here because I saw positive reviews from others on Google Maps. I was greeted and checked in quickly, examined, and Dr.McRay and team helped relieve the pain with a plan on getting it resolved permanently. Dr. McRay is not only incredibly skilled but also took the time to genuinely listen to my concerns. Everyone I worked with was patient, understanding, and compassionate. My hesitation to visit the dentist was due to judgemental or accusatory statements from my last dentist - no such case here. Here, I felt like the dental team and I were working together. I didn't need it, but the new patient form includes options for sunglasses, music, a blanket, etc. for your visit to help you be comfortable - I really appreciated the thought and care of this option. The next visit required some more work, but the team made sure I was comfortable the whole time. They set me up with Netflix with noise canceling headphones and some local numbing medicine, so I could easily tune out the work being done. The areas being worked on healed very quickly without any issues and without pain. This most recent visit was an inspection and crown. The whole process was quick and painless, and the new crown seamlessly matches my other teeth. I think that really speaks to their careful examinations, measurements, and preparation. Then on the way out, the receptionist helped me with an insurance issue I was facing, and taking initiative to get the issue resolved for me so I wouldn't have to do it myself. Again, the team continues to impress. After these visits, I'm looking forward to my next visits. I didn't think I'd ever say it, but I'm excited to visit the dentist.

Fantastic experience: The Dentist at Westchase is definitely one of the top dental offices that really cares. The office is beautiful! They have amazing friendly staff that is always available to address any issues and concern. You can text office anytime and they reply within a few minutes. It’s really rare to see this level of service and patients support. They always follow up with appointments making sure everything is ok. Dr Robbins and Dr McRay explain every step in details so you feel comfortable understanding what dental work you need and why. They stay on top of the new technologies and offer the advanced services. It’s just very reassuring to rely on such professionals and to feel so welcome and taking good care of.

They have the latest gadgets and high end equipment. The techs were thorough and friendly. I saw Dr Robbins...she was welcoming, informative, and efficient. I would highly recommend their services.

Fantastic experience: So far so GREAT! Just to start, I am deathly afraid of the dentist. To the point I cry, sweat, panic and almost throw up. In fact, I cried on the way to said appointment. But once I arrived I felt welcomed. Front desk staff was pleasant and kind. My nurse was AMAZING! Gosh, I wish I remember her name. If you assisted me at 11:30am today in the presidential suite, ILY haha! You were so sweet and calmed all of my nerves! The Doctor was very nice! We explained what he thought was best and needed, which I appreciated! Don’t sugar coat it! Give me the bad news, so I know what to fix you know! He did GREAT! I found out I needed almost 2 root canals and 4 cavities filled…I applied for their payment program and Meliza was very helpful in said process! I wish I wrote down everyone’s name! So embarrassed haha! I am a self pay patient. This is a VERY expensive appt because of that… But I would rather my experience be here than any else! It was THAT calming. Coming from a crybaby herself! If you have a fear of the dentist, please, at least have a consultation here. You won’t regret it! I will update my review as my second service proceeds! Fantastic experience: I’ve always had positive experiences here. I had a “concern” this week, and was relieved to be seen on the same day. Even though I now live further away from the office, it is worth it in order to feel confident in what I’m told, and relieved that I’ve been evaluated by top-level dentists. I’ll add that this office is beautiful, and welcoming. It’s rare to have a pleasant experience at a dental office, but this is as close as I’d think you could get!

Fantastic experience: I love the staff, who went out of their way to look at my insurance when I told them there was a change in my benefits & I didn’t have my new card yet & would pay cash… they verified that I still had benefits and would not need to pay cash for my semi annual cleaning. The technology is the best I’ve seen. Update 1/28/25 Always prompt on taking me back for my appointment, I only waited about 1 minute. Staff are all cheerful & eager to assist. This was my semi-annual X-rays, cleaning, & exam. My daughter & grandson also love them. They offer Netflix or Prime video to watch during… I had a mouth device for sleep apnea made by them 3 years ago & so has my daughter for grinding her teeth, state if the art process.

Negative experience: So many years working with this dentist and had to stop going because I wasn’t able to make my last appointment and they wanted to charge me $50.. never cancelled an appointment before and they don’t have the grace to let the first one slide… So disappointing but hey they did good work on my teeth so I guess I would semi recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Phenomenal. I am on the spectrum and have severe anxiety with dental work. They have been nothing but understanding and compassionate. Their attention to care, compassion and understanding goes above and beyond. I will be bringing my kids here also. Thank you! Update: my kids were terrified to go to a new dentist because they missed their old one in another state. However after today they are actually begging to back to the dentist and to brush their teeth. They actually said they had fun at the dentist. Haha. Update: still the best ha. My husband has now made an appointment here because it reminds him of the dentist he grew up with.

Fantastic experience: Honestly, I didn’t think I’d ever say this, but I actually had a great time at the dentist. Yep, you read that right. The staff was super chill and made me feel like I wasn’t about to endure some medieval torture device (shoutout to my childhood dentist for the trauma). The dentist was awesome—explained everything like a pro and even cracked a few jokes. The office was clean, modern, and didn’t smell like weird chemicals, which is always a win. Plus, I was in and out so fast I barely had time to check my phone. 10/10 would trust them with my teeth again.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to The Dentists at Houston Westchase for several years now and everyone here is amazing! I used to hate my dentist visits, but now I look forward to them as I always have a very pleasant and comfortable experience. Most of my siblings have started coming here as well and they loved it as well. The doctors and staff here are the very best!

Fantastic experience: After a crown came off during a scheduled cleaning at another dental practice, I sought consultation at the Dentists at Westchase practice. The other practice insisted replacing the crown they removed must be replaced at a significant price. Dr Robbins and the Westchase staff took X-rays of the crown fit and tooth condition and decided re-cementing the loose crown made the most sense. There guidance not only saved me from unnecessary dental expenses, but she also advised me on proper care and protection of other dental work. Suffice it to say, I was very pleased and relieved in this initial visit to the Dentists at Westchase practice.

They tell you step by step what they’re doing and explain it. Also, you get to watch tv while you’re being worked on. Overall great experience!

The staff is consistently professional, accommodating, and compassionate, providing top-notch care. Dr. McRay, Dr. Robbins, the hygienists, and the entire team are amazing—you can truly see how much they care for their patients and each other. Dr. McRay and Dr. Robbins have gone above and beyond on multiple occasions when I’ve had dental emergencies. The office is convenient and comfortable, and I’m pleased to see they’re expanding to welcome even more patients. Highly recommended!
