Fantastic experience: My Dentist, Dental assistants and staff at Dental Health Associates are wonderful. They are very professional and at the same time friendly and make you feel at ease. And the quality of care is exceptional.

Fantastic experience: staff is professional and accommodating to individual's specific needs. I was able to get in quickly for cleaning and for follow up cares. Have been receiving cares at this location for several years along with both of my elderly parents.

Fantastic experience: This is perhaps the best dental practice in Wisconsin, and certainly one of the best in the US. It was my first visit, and what a tremendous first impression! The offices are clean, spacious, comfortable, and modern; the technology very much up-to-date. I was so appreciative of the friendliness, courtesy, and professionalism of the staff. The hygienist, Janelle, was exceptional, demonstrated the best patient care approach, and made me feel very much at ease. Dr. Brodek is extremely adept, knowledgeable, and kind. I felt like the staff at this practice truly cared about their patients, and take joy in serving them. I can’t stop singing their praises: absolutely impressive! Highest recommendation for sure!

Negative experience: Hey, I'm a long-time Dental Patient of DHA and have always had good experiences with them, but my recent Routine Cleaning visit was not so good. I've always appreciated the high standard of care and professionalism at DHA. A little backstory: My original dentist appointment was cancelled by the clinic because the hygienist had an emergency, which was understandable. Then, I got called in the same day on the Waiting list that I accepted. I was 13 minutes late for my appointment (15 minutes is the grace period). I am almost always on time for my appointments, and I have had to wait 10-15 minutes on several occasions in the past as well (which is understandable). The person who cleaned my teeth, the hygienist, seems all right (I tried small talk but got close-ended replies); however, she cleaned my teeth within 10-12 minutes. The speed was super-fast, flossing was done at 2x speed and a bit painful, not to mention she broke the floss 2-3 times while slamming them down my gums. Also, her subtle comments about my teeth made me feel bad. I typically have thick skin, but I didn't appreciate it. I have never had such a bad experience at DHA or anywhere else before, and I just wanted to share my honest thoughts. My appointment was set for 2:15 PM on Friday, 9/5/25, if anyone wants to chat. Negative experience: I had an appointment scheduled for a filling of mine that came out while chewing gum. I had never had filling before, my teeth were always taken care of and when I switched to this location my first visit I was deemed to have 3 cavities(never there before) I had them taken care of at this location. When it popped out I called right away. Scheduled an appointment- waited 35 minutes past my appt time to been seen by the actual dentist and when he looked in my mouth for 30 seconds max, he then said my filling came out and he couldn’t do the work because he had an exhausting day. I live 40+ minutes from this location and took hours off work to make this appointment. Not good at all. Very frustrated.

Positive experience: my appointment was at 11 it was 16 min after and i had to go to the desk and ask why are they behind. then someone finally came. i would of given a 1 star but the hygienist was great

Dr. Ross Toigo performed my examination. All three were pleasant, professional and kind. All three gave me confidence that I was in capable and expert care. Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Lu and his incredible assistant Kendra at Dental Health Associates. They truly went above and beyond to save my tooth. something that most would have rushed into major surgery for. Their attention to detail, gentle care, and genuine dedication to doing what’s best for the patient left a lasting impression on me. Dr. Lu took the time to explain every step of the process with clarity and compassion, and Kendra made sure I felt comfortable and at ease throughout. Their teamwork is seamless, and their kindness is so appreciated. Thanks to them, I was able to avoid an invasive procedure and keep my original tooth, something I’m incredibly grateful for. If you’re looking for a dental team that is not only skilled but truly cares, I highly recommend Dr. Lu and Kendra. They are the best of the best!

Fantastic experience: Dr Toigo has been my dentist for the last year. He and his dental hygienists have been very good in all aspects of my treatment. Dr. Toigo has been very good at including me in the plan of care. He has answered all my questions. We have almost completed my treatment plan. I have one more visit in three weeks for placing of crowns. There have been no complications. I am happy with the work heand Dr. Lorson have done in restoring my dentition.

Fantastic experience: he dentist and the assistant were wonderful, several complex steps were reqjuired to measure and apply the new crown. They did an excellent job.

Negative experience: I’ve been at DHA for about 6 years and today was my first time with my dentist’s new hygienist. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had getting my teeth cleaned. Typically, I actually really enjoy getting my teeth cleaned and never have any issues but today, the hygienist really wasn’t careful not to hit my gums with her sharp instruments and it happened several times throughout my mouth. My gums have been hurting all day, which has never happened to me before, and there are visible signs of trauma/redness. She then polished my teeth really quickly and the polish sprayed all over my face multiple times but there was no acknowledgment of it. This was the fastest and least thorough cleaning I have ever had and the only one that has ever been painful. Sadly, I am going to be switching to a different dental practice as this is my second negative experience here.

Fantastic experience: Dr Paige exceeded my expectations. My first visit to her was very informative, she was able to determine that my transplant and BP meds were both contributing to a swollen gums issue..ln addition, she gave ma a rinse to prevent further damage. Thank you Dr. Paige

They definitely make sure you don’t forget appointments and they are easy when trying to schedule and reschedule upcoming appointments. The hygienist was also terrific and thorough and did a great job on my teeth. I felt very cared for and my teeth and gums felt terrific. She was friendly and explained everything very well. And the dentist herself was also a shining example of professionalism and very pleasant and easy to work with; she answered my questions patiently, and with care. They are accessible and lovely people. It’s Probably the best dental experience I’ve ever had – especially on a consistent basis. Having dental work done here is a terrific experience.

Positive experience: I’ve been using dental health associates for a number of years and have always had good experiences. Hygienists are great, dentists are great, but my only issue is scheduling can be a challenge with only being able to get in for cleanings once every eight months.

Fantastic experience: Dr. T is experienced, efficient, relaxed and a very good communicator. Hygeinist T does thorough work with a light touch. My mouth felt better walking out than it did walking in. Excellent dental experience.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient at DHA for decades. I’ve received great care from Greg Samuels and now Dr Rozendaal. Never once have I considered seeking care elsewhere, despite needing various procedures (I grew up without fluoride).

Negative experience: I’ve been going to the same dental office for 15 years. I went in for my basic cleaning today and was told that unless I got x-rays and some other expensive things, she would not clean my teeth. Not only did I not have the time due to a funeral. I also was just taken aback when she told me it was the law that she couldn’t clean my teeth until I was x-rayed.. I had never heard that before. Anyway, time to find a new Dentist.

Positive experience: I had a good first-time experience at this dental clinic. The medical assistant was fantastic, and the dentist was absolutely wonderful—professional, kind, and made me feel very comfortable throughout my visit. However, I did notice that both receptionists I interacted with during check-in and check-out weren’t very warm or friendly. It wasn’t a terrible experience by any means, but a smile and a more welcoming attitude at the front desk would go a long way in improving the overall atmosphere. That said, I’m still pleased with the care I received and would return again.

Negative experience: A few hours after my appointment, I still have pain in my gums. The hygienist poked my gums too deep and it was really painful.

Fantastic experience: I chipped a crown that was irritating my tongue, so I called DHA to schedule an appointment. I was able to see my dentist within just a couple of hours. I expected he might recommend replacing the crown, but because of its location, he said that wasn’t necessary and simply polished it down. I really appreciated being seen the same day and that my dentist was honest and didn’t push for an unnecessary replacement.

Positive experience: My family members have been with Dental health associates for decades. Most experiences are positive. The only thing bothering is during a procedure, the dentist and assistant always like to chat something not related to the things they’re operating on through the whole procedure. They probably feel that’s cool and It’s just a piece of cake for them. They are confident. But patients are nervous and worried. They could feel uncomfortableness about somewhat being uncaring. In their eyes it is lack of concentration. It is a big deal for them. And we have heard many relatives and friends talking about the same experiences. Hope DHA will be improve. Thanks!

Negative experience: If you are a new patient you better hope you don’t have a cavity because they won’t take care of it in the same visit nor will they tell you when you call to make your appointment because taking two hours off of work isn’t enough or spending money on a worthless visit if I could give negative stars I would it’s like going to get an oil change but you have to get your car detailed first then you have to come back a second time

Negative experience: Absolutely non-existent patient care - very dangerous and unreliable. Entirely astounded at how much no one is simply doing follow up care for my mother's surgery. My mother had surgery at this location, and was told that they would call in medication at her pharmacy. They never did, and then we called them again during office hours, was assured that they would call in the prescription, but they never did. We contact the after hours doctor because we needed the prescription, but never received a call. Unable to talk directly with the doctor/surgeon since they do not have their own receptionist. Just shocked.

Positive experience: They worked with me to get me in as my tooth filling had fallen out. Fantastic overall but it fell out again within 6 hrs. s So I'm back to square one again until I can get a crown. I've been a patient there for over 35 yrs. It was an excellent experience but I gave a 4 star due to the temporary filling falling out so soon. Staff was excellent to work with.

I’ve tried other dentists and dental groups, but have found that there isn’t anyone better in managing my dental health. They provide excellent service and care. I know I can trust them when they recommend a treatment. I’ve had other dentists try to say I’ve needed unnecessary procedures (crowns and fillings) when I have not experienced any issues to warrant the type of treatment they’ve recommended. Another reason I believe that DHA is one of the best dental clinics in the Madison area is that they are always booked out for regular cleaning and check up appointments/visits. Which only further proves to me that they’re a great choice for dental care. .

Negative experience: I had an appointment today 12/19/24. Due to a snow storm I was late 17 minutes. I live 1 hour 20 minutes away. Need health care transportation. I was going to see the hygienist plus meet Dr Toigo for the first time. I was refused to see both of them cause I was 17 minutes late. I asked if I could at least see Dr Toigo and front desk ladies say NO, " It's not fair for the other patients"...Did not need to tell me that in front of everybody... Very rude! I'm always on time... and most of time when I have a dentist appoitment is the other way around. I have to wait 30 minutes or morei n the waiting room to see the doctor and I have never complaint.

Fantastic experience: I had to be seen due to a broken tooth and I was a new patient. They were able get me in the very next day. From the first call with the receptionist , to the hygienist, and Dr, it was a very good experience. I am so grateful they were able to see me because I called around and was turned down. Everything was explained to me, I was comfortable, and understood what was happening. I had no dental nervousness or anxiety. My questions were answered patiently. After my procedure is completed, I will be returning for a check up and cleaning, on a regular basis. Kindness matters. I really feel happy and appreciative for all they have done to help me.
