Fantastic experience: I've had root canal and only shots hurt a little. This time I was able to have cleaning and temporary crown that I had root canal on. Can't say I love to go to dentist but I don't agonize on going.

Negative experience: The service from the dental assistants is phenomenal and, in person, the staff are wonderful, but over the phone, this dentist office has a lot to work on. This is one of the only dentist acceptable for my insurance because its dental. Unfortunately, I don't think I can feel as comfortable at this office as I would like to be because it seems as if they fail to properly listen and hear their patience concerns as anymore than a job they have to do. Their policies are concrete, so you never have to worry about being made an exception or excuses if you follow it River East has shown me that the dentist is an office where people serve patients as a whole in order to do their job, not for you as an individual.

Fantastic experience: Staff was friendly and informative, treatment went well and was handled effectively.

Negative experience: I had Crowns put in by River east dental in 2019. I had to go back severat times to try different cement. They finally got them to stay in. I had an issue this weekend and my crown came out. I called them on Monday morning hoping to get in. The lady on the phone was very rude and said you have not been here in 6 years so i am considered a new patient and would have to go to the bottom of the list and offered me an appopiontment in November 3 months away. I will not be using this dental group again and if you want better customer service maybe call Aspen as they have never seen me once and I have an appoinment this afternoon.

Fantastic experience: Had a tooth extracted because it broke in half. The whole experience was totally painless.

Negative experience: Do not go here if you ever plan to move. They will harass you endlessly even after asking to be removed from contact lists multiple times. If you block their number, they will simply call/text from another number. Plenty of other dentists in the Toledo area that don't harass customers after they leave.

Fantastic experience: The people working here are absolutely wonderful and are always a pleasure to see and speak with. The dentists are very informative and incredibly polite. I highly recommend them for their outstanding performance and courtesy. I got a permanent crown done and it is absolutely perfect. My thanks goes out to all of the staff!

Negative experience: I tried scheduling an appointment with River East Dental group. I was emotional and tired, in pain and was openly crying while on the phone. The receptionist was cold and distant. Treated me like an inconvenience from the moment she got on the phone. Informed me that, with a hole in my tooth preventing me from eating because a root canal fell out, I still couldn’t get an appointment until April. Through my sobs, I told her I had no choice but to take it. I told her that there’s a problem in the city. There isn’t a Dentist for anybody, and those that provide care for Medicaid patients, don’t seem to care and treat ppl poorly. She then said if you’re in that much pain, you should go to urgent care. I told her I had been to urgent care, and they can’t do anything. She then said “well they can’t just give you pain meds“. And I said “I don’t want pain meds, I want to eat“. She then got quiet and defensive, and I asked her to apologize for the value judgment she just made on me. She refused. She fumbled over her words and refused to take accountability for what she had just said. Then she said “I cannot schedule you here” and hung up on me. I’m so glad it’s really easy for you to separate yourself from the others pain that another human is experiencing. It’s so easy to just assume people want drugs. So you don’t have to feel anything for another human. Guess what? It isn’t that simple. River East dental you should be ashamed of yourself, as well as all the people who own Corner Dental and works for them. Corner Dental takes advantage of this city and all the people in it who are on Medicaid. They do not provide high-quality care. They just want the money from insurance companies without providing the care. I am disgusted and you all should be too. I hope EXACTLY WHAT I AM GOING THROUGH happens to you lady receptionist at River East Dental Group. I hope your pain goes uncared for. Your cries go unanswered and you’re just as helpless as I was. I hope you get to feel this awfulness. I hope when it happens, you’ll remember my words. I hope I am a frequent guest in your consciousness. I hope my words haunt you forever. For shame. You should be ashamed.

Fantastic experience: I was treated well by the whole team and the dentist is the best I've ever had. The girls went out of their way to help me with my transportation ride and everyone was in sinc with the dentists busy day. I'm impressed!

Fantastic experience: The doctor is very friendly, makes sure I am comfortable and keeps me informed about my dental plans and health. (New visit) I had to shake his hand because this is the first time in a long time I haven't had any dental pain. He is always cordial, respectful and explains what he is going to do or needs to be done. He works as quickly as possible and does great work. So glad I found this office.

Negative experience: Staff & manager justified being unprofessional & rude. I had an appointment scheduled. The day of the appointment the staff called to inform me that I was due for a cleaning. They cancelled my appointment without properly getting in touch with me. While having the accurate email & phone # on file they "couldn't reach me". The staff member asked did I want to come in earlier & I informed her that I had to use vacation time for this appointment already. I encountered a very unfriendly attitude. She spoke to me in a snappy & rude fashion like I was inconveniencing her! Then proceeded to transfer me. I asked to speak with the manager & she said none of that happened instead of accommodating the patient. At this point I'm not even interested in going back to this establishment or seeing any of the staff. I manage a business & would never treat a customer like that. I felt disregarded with this interaction. UPPER management should definitely consider having more respectful staff & management representing their company.

Fantastic experience: I am very happy with the dental services I have received by River East Dental. Their staff here are very professional..You are treated here with prompt service and kindness. The price for their service are very economical with or without medical insursnce you will be very satisfied. I appreciate everything they have done to turn my smile around. Negative experience: I only needed 1 root canal and 2 fillings, and ended up with 3 failed root canals. Then during the last root canal scheduling, their "computer canceled 2 of my appointments", turns out it was one of the receptionist that canceled my appointmenton her own without my acknowledgment. They put me on a "same day" list, and now that I have a dental emergency the extremely rude receptionist hung up on me while I was trying to explain why I was put on the list due to them. Rude and careless staff that makes mistakes with scheduling, dentist goes beyond what's needed so he can make more money, poor dental work performed by the dentist with the scar on his neck, the lobby is dingy and the place smells. Would not recommend. I only went because I was poor and could only afford free government insurance at the time.

Fantastic experience: Corner Dental wanted to charge me 1,200.00. RIVEREAST DENTAL TOLD ME I WAS COVERED WITH MY INSURANCE. THEY UNDERSTAND I'M ON A FIXED INCOME $75.OO A WEEK. OMG I LOVE THEM.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to this dentist for quite some time now I’ve never had teeth pulled out in my life by any other dentist that was painless and when I say painless, I mean he was done in five minutes, and I went to work the same day having two teeth pulled with no anesthesia this is a phenomenal dentist office!

By the grace of God and the knowledge of the staff everything went well. As a senior citizen it is important that we have proper care along with patience and understanding. Update, I had another appointment today 6/27/2024. When I tell you that the young lady who cleaned my teeth was truly an angel in disguise. Every cleaning I've had in the past 20 yrs has been extremely painful and very uncomfortable. Her knowledge, care and concern for my health and well-being was by far her 1st priority. Thank you sweetie you are truly appreciated and will be long remembered.

Fantastic experience: The staff is amazing! As soon as you walk in the door, the front desk staff they greet you they remember your name it makes you feel so good. And then when they call your name and take you back, they know it’s chilly in there so they offer you a blanket. And the blanket it’s always clean and sanitize and it smells so good! And the dental hygienist there was so sweet and kind, Especially with children! My daughter goes there and she’s never had a bad experience. She loves going to the dentist. in my favorite thing about the dentist office is if there’s a problem with your tooth, they ask you if they have time would you like to fix it today so you don’t have to go on and pain! In the doctor, so sweet and kind and so is the staff ! I’ve been going there for Three or four years now and I’ve never seen any staff member have a negative attitude or is nasty or mean or rude to me. Everybody was always positive and kind and sweet so you know they must treat their staff very well because it’s been the same staff for the past 3 to 4 years. I recommend this dentist office to everybody if you want a good experience go here if you want your teeth to be done correctly if you want a dentist office to go the extra mile for your mouth go here!

Negative experience: I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS DENTAL OFFICE!! AVOID IF POSSIBLE!! I went to this office 2 years ago, because I had a problem with a back lower tooth. All the dentist did was remove an old filling and put a new filling in, covering almost my whole tooth. Fast forward to 2024. I've still been having the same problems I had when I 1st went here. Can hardly EVER get an appt, if you work. March, the left side of my face/neck were swollen, due to that tooth. Dentist was out of office for a week, no one to see his patients. Was told to find a new dentist or go to urgent care, which I did. Had an infection in that tooth. Still can't get an appointment. Last week I was finally able to schedule an appointment. Went and was 1st argued with about my insurance. Heidi kept insisting that I should have a separate insurance card for dental. This went on almost 5 minutes, in front of other patients. When I called my insurance company(after I got home)to make sure I wasn't crazy, she lied and told the man that I put the wrong insurance down!! He had me on a conference call, so I heard her!! Finally got back to see dentist, after waiting an hour, and was told that I STILL have an infection in that tooth. AND, I need a root canal, that he can't do!! All of this could have been avoided, HAD THE DENTIST ADDRESSED THE PROBLEM TO BEGIN WITH!! He said he starts with the simple things 1st. Smh Now I'm in jeopardy of loosing my tooth!!

Fantastic experience: I had a root canal procedure on my tooth in the upper left molar. I was having anxiety beforehand because I never had any fill-ins or root canals done on me. I would rate the procedure a 10/10. The dentist and assistant both took their time with me and made sure the procedure was well done. The only pain i felt was when the needle was stuck inside my mouth but the pain I was feeling before wouldn’t compare to that. I wasn’t able to sleep at first and now I’m grateful to be able to eat and sleep without feeling any pain. I would highly recommend River East Corner Dental. Thank you

Positive experience: 1st Visit: I would suggest either making your new patient form available online or send it early via email. If it's staying in paper form only please have a small table to tray table for persons with disabilities to use. It's hard to write on a clipboard for some of us without having a surface to place it on. Having a .pdf would eliminate the cost of mailing one out and getting it left at home and all having to fill out a second printing out. Having a .pdf or online form can be done on a computer at home or mobile device in the office. The information can be more detailed and legible as well save time and money off a staff member to enter in the patient's information into the system as well. I hope this information/ opinion helps. 2nd Visit: I had my 4 year old dentures relined. After one small adjustment due to a hyperactive reflex they were perfect. Spot on Dr. D! Thank you to Dr. D and the whole staff. Everyone was helpful and friendly. See you in a year for a recheck.

Negative experience: The staff was very nice but the room where I was placed was filthy. The equipment was also outdated and dirty. I was glad they were not able to perform the service. I was given a referral.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly staff, was seen the same day I filled out form to become an established patient, Got Xray same day and 18 teeth pulled all at once, which is the route I wanted to go. My son goes here too. We're glad we found this wonderful dentist and his very friendly staff. They make you feel really comfortable going to see the dentist. I highly recommend. Edit: This makes day 2 after getting 18 teeth pulled at once and I want to say the pain level is far less than the severe pain I was in for 8 days after getting the top left pulled at another dentist. Again I highly recommend this Dentist.

Fantastic experience: Haven’t been to the dentist in an embarrassing amount of time. The staff made me feel comfortable and there was no judgement from any of them. The receptionists are kind and personable- they check you in ASAP. Dr Dhariwal was quick, efficient, and asked me repeatedly if I was comfortable during my filling. For first filling my bite was slightly off- I went back for a cleaning about a week later and explained that I had tooth sensitivity to the hygienist. She let Dr Dhariwal know, it was the end of the day for him but he fit me in. I told him about my sensitivity, he took cold water and isolated each tooth since I had had 3 fillings done at the same time. He was able to isolate the problem that was causing sensitivity and filed that tooth down more since the bite was slightly off which helped alleviate the sensitivity. All around my experience has been great and I would recommend this office any day.

Negative experience: Packed in like sardines, waited in chair for 20 mins. Pretty expensive, felt like I was paying their mortgage payment out of my pocket after they charged my Insurance a small fortune. Maybe I was paying his student loan pymt.

I actually showed uo a little early because I had an emergency specialist appt right after this appt and didn't know if I was going to be able to do both... they got me right back ready for my cleaning, the girl cleaned my teeth, doctor came in and I actually got to my other appointment early! From the front desk receptionist to the Medical assistant whom helped us find the exit everyone interacted with my son in a positive way. He loves the dentist and loved his experience today. Positive experience: I have been going to this dental office for almost three years now and decided to register my 15yr old daughter yesterday and they got her in today, which is great. The visit went well from not having to fill out a lot of paperwork, the receptionist were friendly, the guy assistant was amazing, and the cleaning was a breeze. But the doctor, oh he had an attitude problem today. My daughter had a few cavities in between her teeth due to the lack of flossing and he asked “Do you know what flossing is?!” “You have 5 cavities from not flossing”. I just don’t understand how him as a doctor going to make someone especially A CHILD feel bad for needed HIS SERVICES! Since he doesn’t know what manners are and doesnt know how to talk to clients keeping him in business I’m considering taking her elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: Office is ran like a well oiled machine. Normally not much of a wait. Bright, clean and spacious. Staff is very pleasant the Dentist is excellent. My Daughter is developed mentally delayed and they are great with her as well. Tracy is great ( my hygienist)

Fantastic experience: I Have so much confidence in the staff from the time I walk in the door. The receptionist is warm and friendly My dental tech that works with Dr D is technically great and personable. Dr d is always good in his approach to dental procedures. He gives u every choice and u can work with him to set up a plan to dental health. Most offices are not as flexible as River east in an emergency. When u walk out the door u feel u have been respected and know exactly what I will pay to the penny.

Positive experience: The lady’s that clean your teeth are both super nice and so are the people at the front desk but every time I’m there I always wait at least 45 minutes for the doctor after the hygienist is done

Fantastic experience: I came in with 18 years being the last time I saw a dentist and absolutely terrified and they were the nicest most empathetic staff ever. The hygienist didnt judge me and she saved my teeth. The procedure was done with my anxieties in mind, and towards the end I actually have my faith in the dentist restored.

Negative experience: New resident to the area, made an appointment several weeks in advance. Get a call the morning of indicating that there was a scheduling issue and I can’t do a cleaning which was the primary reason for the appointment. They wanted me to come in anyway for X -rays now and come back in the future for cleaning. I explained that I’m fine rescheduling when it can be done together. Woman told me that it would be a while (what does a while mean?). I said I would need to try someplace else and she abruptly hung up on me. 1. Scheduling mistakes happen, not a big deal. 2. Communicate clearly using words with meaning. “It will be x weeks etc. 3. Never hang up on a patient or potential patient. You work in healthcare, you’re a professional, act like it.

Fantastic experience: Dr. D and staff are very knowledgeable, patient and compassionate. I’m a big sissy when I go to the dentist, yet they treat me with respect and do their best to make me comfortable.
