Negative experience: The front desk staff was very professional, friendly and helpful. The dentist and dental assistants were very impatient and unfriendly. They rushed his cleaning and no one explained who they were and what they were doing. My son almost didn't get his X-rays done because the lady “I don’t think he will let me do it” I responded at-least let him try. My son sat and did his X-rays with no issues. I would never take my child back to this place. Worst experience I’ve ever had at a dentist. They are not child friendly

Negative experience: I’ve been going to Dr. Kwon’s office for about 16 years, and all 4 of my kids have been patients there. My youngest is the only one still going. Lately, I’ve noticed a big change in the quality of care. Cleanings have become extremely rushed—the last one was done in just 4 minutes, which really concerned me. What prompted me to finally write this review was my child’s most recent appointment. I was told he had 3 cavities—2 that supposedly needed crowns and 1 that needed a filling. This has been a repeated pattern; every visit seems to bring news of more cavities. Something didn’t sit right with me, so I got a second opinion from my own dentist. He reviewed the exact same X-rays and found no cavities at all. That means they were recommending drilling into 3 healthy teeth and charging me $580 out of pocket after insurance. This is deeply upsetting and makes me wonder how many other unnecessary procedures may have been done in the past. I share this so other parents know to trust their instincts and get a second opinion. Also, I hope the right person in that practice reads this.

Fantastic experience: Great experience. Soon as we walked in the atmosphere was buzzing with good energy. There was a big ol playhouse for the kids which made my daughter happy yet bashful to see. We were kindly greeted by the front desk staff who helped us. I wish I had her name. We were called back promptly. Everyone explained what would happen next. It was efficient, fast and friendly. The doctor was thorough and kind. We found our new home. Thankful for the change.

Fantastic experience: So we've been going to the practice for a long time so there have been ups and downs but I wanted to leave a review now that it seems as though some issues have been ironed out. Generally speaking, they are always very good with working with my special needs son. We can trust them to make sure the visit goes well. I do often recommend this practice to friends.

Fantastic experience: Very good and professional. Arrived 10 mins early was seen within 5 mins and they went right to work. Looks fun for kids inside and they have toys for the kids upon completion of services. Highly recommended

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love this office Dr.Prema Dr.Oni and Dr. Jameson is the absolute best from the ladies in the front, The hygienist and all the assistants and Rebecca were all just incredible with my son. Thank you guys for such a positive warm and loving environment

Fantastic experience: I adore the dentists, hygienists, and staff. They go out of their way to ensure my kids are comfortable and well cared for. My son has autism and had a HORRIFIC experience with another dentist which led us to switch to Kwon. Well, we started out with Dr Kwon himself, we now see other providers, and my son is comfortable with them all! I recommend this office without reservation! Update: I wrote this years ago and we still go to Kwon Pediatrics! I actually love the way that the office treats the kids. They are quick and efficient. They are kind and gentle with the children. They help calm any fears. My son, no longer fears the dentist. And despite the fact that he is now 6 feet tall at 13, They are still gentle and calming with him.

Negative experience: I visited the dentist's office today with both of my children. The dental hygienist who performed their cleaning appeared impatient, seemed uncomfortable around children, barely acknowledged me, and when my two-year-old fell and got his foot stuck on her chair, she showed no concern. The experience was unsatisfactory.by the way was at the loganville office and the impatient hygienist was an older woman.

Fantastic experience: This was my daughter’s first time at Kwon Dentistry and Caitlin was Amazing. The front office staff was very courteous and kind, which is important in any business.

Fantastic experience: Great staff and wait is short if any. The staff and Dentist are great with my boys! One of my boys is autistic and can easily be upset around strangers or people touching him and he enjoys his visits because they take the time to listen to him and explain everything before, during and after. This is our 1st year with Kwon Pediatric Dentistry and we will be visiting them for at least 6 more years for dental care.

Negative experience: I would have love to have my girls be treated by Dr. Kwon heard so many great things. But the receptionist who called to set up my girls appointment. Had a bad attitude and also was not listening. I had to keep repeating and tried to explain that I had confirmation of an appointment she didn’t see and she wasn’t even trying to help.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been taking my kids to the dentist for almost 9 years. The staff is always welcoming and kind. The office is super kid friendly and clean. Any doctor you see here is awesome…one of my favs is Dr Scott. He loves kids and does an amazing job.

Negative experience: The staff was good, but the dentist Scott Farrell was insanely rude. He went on a 5 minute rant about how I need to floss and made sure to make it sound crazy. He used words like champ to make him sound a big guy or something. Please talk to him, some of the things were just unprofessional.

Negative experience: DO NOT GO TO DR KWON DENTISTRY! Worst place. Long story, but so worth the read, if i can save one child then I’m gonna do what i can! My daughter was supposed to go in to get 1 tooth pulled & 2 spacers & 1 cap. We choose to do the IV sedation in Dacula so that it could all be done at one time instead of 4 different office visits. We get there last Thursday at 6:15am. They gave her a ketamine shot(calm her down) she was calm, but okay. I get it. The dr comes in to tell me that she now needs FOUR teeth pulled, 4 caps, 2 spacers. I agreed because I obviously thought they knew what they were doing & I only want the best for my daughter & her adult teeth. (all teeth pulled were baby teeth). Surgery goes fine, they come to get me to let me know she had just woke up from the anesthesia & that I could come back there with her. As soon as I get back there the nurse says y’all are good to leave, just don’t let her sleep for the next two hours incase her throat swells up. (Ummm okay) so I went to pick her up & her head just fell over!! I asked the nurse if this was normal, she said yes! Y’all are good to go! The nurse holds her head up for me all the way to the car! Thankfully my mom was with us, so I got in the back seat with my daughter & she was talking but not making any sense(normal right) we get 15 min down the road & my baby stops breathing!!!! We immediately pull over to call 911. She stopped breathing 3 times. It was like she was forgetting to breathe. We go to the hospital via ambulance & they immediately tell us they let her leave too soon or they gave her too much! I call up there & of course they give me the run around & let me know that they followed protocol on everything. I asked for medical records & I wanted the names of the drs/nurses. Come to find out, the anesthesiologist & nurse are from a 3rd party STAFFING AGENCY! They are just contracted out to DR. Kwon! I have spoke with that agency & they have had multiple complaints! Dr Kwon needs to have staff who know what they are doing at all times! My daughter had a basic dental procedure turn into a traumatizing event!! Do not take your babies there! It’s not worth it!

Fantastic experience: Another good visit! I appreciate how understanding and professional the staff always is. Having a child with disabilities can be stressful during visits. I appreciate the length they go to try to minimize the stress. But any additional concentration on servicing those with special needs would be amazing and greatly appreciated

Fantastic experience: My son has autism & really struggles with going to the dentist with all of the noise & being afraid of what will happen but he had an awesome first appointment here! Debbie was so kind & patient with my son showing him everything and giving him the chance to be comfortable before cleaning his teeth. Dr. Farrell was also so kind & was really great with my son & my son left happy and excited about everyone he met! Our best appointment ever!

Fantastic experience: I took my boy for his first dentist visit and it couldn't have gone any better! Caitlyn was his hygienist who was amazing! She was great with my boy and he wasn't scared at all. Dr. Blatt was the dentist that saw him and my boy loves him! He's very friendly and was made my boy smile and laugh. I couldn't have asked for a better 1st dentist visit for my child! Thanks!

Fantastic experience: I’ve taken my kids here since they were 2 and we have never had a bad experience. Everyone from the front desk staff, X-ray, Hygienists, Dentists and anyone else have always been friendly, and nice. Today, Debbie was their hygienist and she was so personable and kind. I love the way she communicated with my children and it made me feel good as a mom when she complimented their behavior and how polite they were. And when she told them they had great teeth, their smiles said it all. Again, all of the staff today were so nice and, the environment is always so inviting and kid friendly (as a pediatric dentistry should be) I just can’t say enough about how much we love coming here.

Fantastic experience: I took my 9-year old granddaughter for a consultation to determine if she needed her crown removed prior to her expander being put in next week. Dr. Willis checked her out and said it needed removed. He said they could work her in today. We went back to the waiting room and were called back w/in 3 minutes. He was great. Also, Nikki checked us in and out and was so nice and professional. We had a great experience today and recommend Kwon Pediatric Dentistry.

Negative experience: Drove all the way to office to find out the appointment was canceled even after confirming the day before. A major inconvenience due to having to take the day off of work to get there. They would not fit us in and we had to reschedule.

Negative experience: Over booked, slow, and super crowded office. Harsh late policy, but no concern for how slow they are. Hit or miss with quality of providers. We've had a mix of positive and not so great experiences.

Fantastic experience: We've been with Dr. Kwon for over a decade and always have a wonderful experience. My 17 yo daughter has dental anxiety from a bad experience somewhere else (that's why we tried Dr. Kwon) and that changed when we switched. I also have one on the spectrum and they ALWAYS make sure she feels 100% safe and heard. They take as much time as they need. 100% recommend bringing your little ones here from start to finish.

Update: 2/9/25 This establishment still has very friendly staff that makes the children feel extremely welcomed. Both of my children were initially on edge about coming back to the dentist. But the staff made it a really fun visit for them both! We enjoy this office!!

Negative experience: My son had filling done few months back he keeps complaning that his tooth still hurts when he drink cold water, I called them they told me it would go away but it's still sensitive to cold , when he had cleaning my husband tried to talk to the doctor that he never had issue before the filling the dentist was very rude very disappointing.

Fantastic experience: This place is fantastic. I was super worried about my 3 year old not cooperating, but it was the complete opposite experience . Our hygienist, Caitlin, has a way with kids like no other . She is very professional and very informative. She kept my child entertained and involved with his teeth cleaning . Dr. Rue is very professional and was straight to making my child feel comfortable with her . I would recommend this place to anyone !

Fantastic experience: This was our first time going to this office. The first impression was great! We were greeted with a smile and the appointment went smoothly. They called us back in a timely manner and everything was thoroughly explained. My 6 year old told me the X-rays were easier than the previous dentist we used and she was excited it didn’t hurt her mouth when they did the X-rays. We will be switching over to this office for my daughter’s future dental visits!

Fantastic experience: This was my first time here and I was very pleased with my visit. Everyone was very friendly and I didn’t have to wait long so be called back for the appointment. The visit went very smooth and felt easy. My girls actually enjoyed the visit. The doctor was awesome! My appointment was 12:30 and both of my girls were done and leaving by 1:30! Great experience

Negative experience: Have been going here for half of the year. No problems so far. We went this last week and not only did we see a new doctor that said something completely different than the one we normally see but when we entered the exam area there were already utensils laid on the tray. The nurse didn’t know who we were or why we were there and I had to inform her of what treatment he was getting that day. The doctor came in and picked up the utensil to look in my son’s mouth. I noticed it was dirty and so did she because she tried to wipe it off and proceeded to stick it in his mouth anyways. We went just three days ago and he’s developed thrush from that visit according to pediatrician. Dental equipment should be CLEANED!!’ I’m so upset and have moved my son’s dental treatment to Dental Safari in snellville!!

The dentist was very straight forward and I liked that very much. There was absolutely no “sugar coating” with him ..lol! Great Practice!! Will continue with them for years to come!

Fantastic experience: My daughter had a toothache and had never been to Kwon before. They got her in the next day and gratefully, it was just her 12 year old molars coming in, no cavities! They were on time, the staff was so nice and accommodating (my daughter is autistic), and they had us in and out. She had her teeth cleaned, X-rays, panoramic X-rays, and saw the dentist and everyone was great!

Fantastic experience: My daughter had a great experience with dr Willis and Rydasha today. She had to get a filling and was really nervous. She had a bad experience at another dentist office in the past. Dr Willis was awesome and talked her through the whole thing making her feel safe. She has sensory issues but Dr was patient and kind and made everything go smoothly.

Fantastic experience: I love the atmosphere that surrounds this dentist office and especially because this was my son’s first dentist ever. the appointment was swift and the dentist was very sweet. She answered many questions for me and my baby even got a toy at the end. I can’t wait for him to be able to play in the center play ground ☺️.

Positive experience: Always have a great experience here. However, this is the first time Debra, the hygienist, cleaned my son's teeth. At first, I thought she was having a rough day and trying to put on being polite, which is fine. But as soon as she was done and went to the family next to us, it was all smiles and jokes. (She didn't talk my son through anything, didn't let him close his toothbrush like she did with the next family and just overall had a "I don't want to be here" vibe. Dentist was amazing however and the assistants! Debra? Do better.

Fantastic experience: Dr.Kwon Dentistry in Loganville is a phenomenal office. The office staff and the Dentists are so friendly and courteous. My kids always have a great experience. They enjoy being explained everything as it's happening. We live all the way in Lawrenceville and travel to this office because of how great they are. Fantastic experience: Best experience ever at a dentist. I brought my six kids in. We were in and out in only an hour. I was able to be with my kids the whole time they felt safe and comfortable the entire time.

Fantastic experience: Loved the experience and so did my 4yr old son. It was an hour drive but id make the drive over and over again because the staff was so nice and helpful. The assistant and the dentist treated my son professionally, kindly and gently. My son loved the play area in the waiting room so much that he started crying because he didnt want to leave. I forgot the names of both the assistant and the dentist who treated my son but i'll never forget their face and the way they treated us in the office. From a mom who grew up scared of dentist offices, Thank you!

Positive experience: This place used to be the best pediatric dentist in town, but it seems the past year or so since they changed staff (dentists) that the quality of the work is suffering. My child went for a simple fill yesterday and the dentist (a female, dark hair, Indian *or east Asian as not to offend anyone, don’t come for me I’m Arab*) at first did not even give her enough lidocaine shots and immediately attempted to start drilling on her cavity and my daughter hollered out in pain, then after that was no longer an issue, she rushed through the procedure, and filled the tooth. When my daughter went to bite down she told the dentist “this is uncomfortable and my bite is crooked” the dentist seemed irritated so I checked her in the most polite way I could by saying to my daughter “it’s ok baby she will fix it, that is why we’re here” and then I stared through the dentists soul! So she supposedly fixed the issue and asked my child again if it was any better and she replied “it’s ok but not great” and the dentist told her that it’s normal and later in the day it will be just fine (I didn’t get the feeling she was trying to actually reassure my daughter, as much as I got the feeling she was trying to rush us out the door). So believing this, we left, and about two hours later when the lidocaine wore completely off my daughter literally started screaming in pain, and she said “mom something is definitely not right, the nerves are on fire”. So I’ve been calling and calling to get her back in, of course I will request someone different as her dentist. It isn’t like I can just rush her to a local ER because they don’t deal with teeth issues at hospitals (not to that degree). I know this was a long rant but living in such a rural place like our beloved Walton county, you don’t have many options to chose from, and this office used to be amazing. It’s going down hill by hiring certain people that would rather rush through their jobs instead of taking their time and doing it right the first time! I’m not saying by any means not to go there, just when you do be selective with who you allow to work on your child’s teeth.

Fantastic experience: We had an incredible experience with Dr. Prema. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. My child is usually very anxious about going to the dentist, but Dr. Prema was so kind and patient, explaining everything in a way that was easy for them to understand. The office is child-friendly, with colorful decorations and fun toys in the waiting area, which really helped put my child at ease. Dr. Prema took the time to talk to my child directly, making sure they were comfortable at every step. They even made the cleaning process feel like a fun. I highly recommend Dr. Prema for anyone looking for a skilled, compassionate pediatric dentist. We will definitely be returning for our regular check-ups!

Fantastic experience: We LOVE Dr Kwons office in Loganville.. My baby has been here since day one, he is now 10 yrs old.. And we still love it like the first day we came in.. I could not say enough high praises about the staff and office!!

Fantastic experience: They are beautifully decorated and so very patient. My son got his first cleaning and was so terrified because we didn’t know if I would be able to come back with him the staff were kind and informed me that I am able to sit with my son and he actually sat and got his cleaning ! I will definitely be returning!

Negative experience: this place is horrible. they ripped out my child’s teeth without anesthetics and left blood everywhere and my child in severe pain. My daughter did not stop crying for 1 hour. 2 weeks later, my son went to an appointment where the staff left him in a room without instructions for two hours. they came back and verbally abused him saying he was supposed to pick up the bananas from the alphas. I believe this staff to be mentally ill and I do not recommend them for your child’s safety.

Fantastic experience: I took my granddaughter for her 6 month checkup. There was no wait and the hygenist was very thorough and pleasant. She was reassuring to my granddaughter which is helpful at a dentist’s office. The doctor came in and checked her teeth and he also was completely reassuring, thorough and pleasant! He willingly answered our questions, too. We both left with a smile!

Fantastic experience: All the staff in general are very kind, attentive and make you feel very comfortable. My son was very calm. It is the best place I have ever had for my son. I highly recommend it. ❤️

Fantastic experience: My son & I love this place. He’s 3 yrs old & was very nervous to have anyone else but mommy touch his teeth. The dental staff were very patient & loving! Each person from the dental tech, dental hygienist, dental assistants & dentists all made him smile & feel comfortable. Thank you for being so awesome with kids! ❤️ You all have made this experience easy for me. I also want to thank the front office staff for being so organized. You guys are doing great! The office is very clean & the play area in the waiting room puts your child at ease before their appt. I highly recommend checking this place out!

Negative experience: DO NOT TAKE YOUR KIDS HERE. I would leave 0 stars, but google won’t let me. This practice recommends UNNECESSARY procedures for young children. I have two children, ages 3 and 6. My 3 year old was brought back for a cleaning and after a hygienist took a mirror, looked at his teeth, she turned to my husband and said “okay, we are done.” Just wait, there’s more. Then, it was my daughters turn… I took my daughter in for a routine cleaning in July of 2024. At the cleaning, the doctor stated “I see you have been denying x-rays every visit for your daughter due to cost” to which I quickly replied “not one hygienist has asked me if I would like to have them done”. I told the doctor that if she needs x rays, I will pay for them. She then proceeded to have X-rays taken. The doctor pulled up the X-rays on the computer and I was completely shocked. They were horrible. You could barely see any teeth or the xray was completely black. After briefly clicking through the X-rays (and by briefly- I mean about 3 seconds), she noticed that a few of them were “not good” and that she couldn’t see ALL teeth in any of the x-rays (shocker). She shrugged it off and said “ehh, that’s fine…” She then immediately told me that my daughter has a cavity that requires a silver crown. She said because some of the X-rays not being clear, that they would look at the other teeth during the crown procedure and “deal with it then”. She said that it would cost about $1,000, maybe more if they look at the teeth not visible in the X-rays and see that more needs to be done, and to go to the front desk to schedule. I was then rushed out of the office with very little explanation of the procedure. Fast forward a few weeks, I took my daughter to another pediatric dentistry for a second opinion. They received copies of the X-rays from Kwon and said they were not even readable and that the X-rays needed to be completely redone (NOT SURPRISED). The dentist at the new office stated she, in fact, DID NOT need a silver crown. She simply needed a small filling. The cavity seen on the xray was very small. Moms, go with your gut. If I had not gotten a second opinion, they would be putting my child through a painful and UNNECESSARY procedure. If I had read a review like the one I am leaving now, I would never had made an appointment with them to begin with. So, hopefully this helps someone in the future.

Fantastic experience: We have been coming here since my child was 2/3 years old, and he’s almost 8 now! We love the staff! Dr. Prema and Assistant Ana B are phenomenal! They always make us feel comfortable, even when we have what my child thinks is a “scary” procedure. He feels happy and confident during/after! Highly reccommed Kwon at Loganville!

Fantastic experience: My daughter was having pain and discomfort, Veronica and Hannah ensured I got an appointment as soon as possible. Dr Jameson was wonderful, she made sure she went over the treatment. And did a wonderful job.

Fantastic experience: My experience started before my appointment with an insurance issue. Rebecca was very kind and and worked diligently to resolve the issue. The day of the appointment the staff was amazing. They were very detailed in what was going to happen and they kept me updated with any changes. They were timely and took good care of my daughter. The office is nice, clean , and comfortable. My daughter loves the playhouse in the waiting area. We will definitely be returning.
