Fantastic experience: It’s hard to find a good dentist that has your best interest. Doctor Dan and staff Are beyond personal and caring when it comes to your dental care. I thought I was picky and I am with certain things. As you get older you realize that some things you can be more flexible. Not your dental care. I went thru multiple dental physicians and never could find the right fit. If you like honesty kindness and personal care, I would highly recommend Triad cosmetic Doctor Dan and staff. Fantastic experience: I left a message overnight on the website about having a tooth ache. They called me the next morning and worked me in with Dr, Dan. I thought I was going to have to pay A LOT of money for a new crown, but Dr. Dan looked at the tooth and the x-ray and prescribed an antibiotic. And he was right! The toothache disappeared and I paid only $40 for an office visit! Thank you Dr. Dan!!

Negative experience: $15,000 dollars and 5 years later...They botched my teeth with braces...horrible surgery (add another $2k and 8 months healing time). Less then a year after braces 4 teeth cracked right where they pulled them off. Spaced out again and 3 are loose. Talk about devastated! Tried to call and schedule appointment- WAS DENIED! Right out denied- I was told I need to go to a specialist before they would consider scheduling me again. Are you kidding me? You took my money with no problem, treated me horrible when I called needing an appointment and wouldn't allow me back. They seem real friendly when they simply clean your teeth- beyond that....take their advice and GO TO A SPECIALIST! This was the last thing I seen coming...cannot believe it. Just absolutely insane. Took over $15k CASH and ruined my teeth-then closed the door when theres an issue. Unprofessional and crooked. Nothing but problem after problem. Don't pay upfront...hands down you'll regret it and when they mess up your smile- they'll be sure to tell you to go somewhere else to fix it. Karma is real.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Dan is very friendly, he takes the time to get to know and comes up with the best treatment plan for you. He makes sure you understand everything that is going on before the treatment. I'm in the middle of my treatment but if I had found Dr. Dan way before now my teeth and smile would have been a lot better sooner.

Fantastic experience: I'm writing a review based on my initial interaction with Triad Cosmetic Dentistry. I have not had any work done yet, so I can't attest to that. However, I had my initial screening where they took a lot of x-rays and the doctor looked over everything as well and my mouth, then spoke to me about what I felt my problems were. The bedside manner was absolutely fantastic. They really do listen to you and your concerns and what you want and don't want and are definitely willing to accommodate you as much as they can. I felt very at ease there, even the staff up front at the desk was very friendly and are more than willing to have a conversation with you that isn't even about being at the dentist! Mind you I am not fond of going to the dentist and sad to say, but I will cancel every chance I get haha but I feel like this place just really had my best interests in mind. I have a couple of upcoming appointments so hopefully all that goes well!

Negative experience: I rarely leave reviews, but I feel a responsibility to speak up—especially for anyone considering major dental work. While the staff at Triad Cosmetic Dentistry was generally friendly, my experience caused permanent structural, functional, and cosmetic harm. After repeatedly asking for help and being dismissed, I reported my case to both the North Carolina Attorney General and the Dental Board. All four of my upper front teeth were involved. Beginning in early 2023, Dr. Keith McDonald extracted three teeth and placed three implants. I received a temporary bridge after surgery, then returned a few months later for permanent crowns and a bridge. Unfortunately, no bite evaluation, TMJ analysis, or periodontist referral was done—critical given the permanence of implants and my documented TMJ and gum issues (which I later learned). Originally, Dr. Keith offered to “straighten my lower teeth” during treatment, but no one on staff performed a proper bite evaluation before placing permanent restorations. I later learned their in-house orthodontics was done by a general dentist with only six weeks of orthodontic training. As a result, my bite was severely misaligned—molars rolled inward and lower front teeth protruded—later causing significant structural damage. Because the implants, caps, and bridge didn’t account for proper alignment, my lower teeth repeatedly struck them. I saw Dr. Keith three times for bite corrections before he retired at the start of 2024. Dr. Brad McDonald then took over my follow-up care. Months into these ongoing appointments—and still facing unresolved discomfort—I independently sought orthodontic opinions. I eventually found a provider I trusted, without referral from Dr. Brad (who later said he refers patients to one of the orthodontists I consulted and had spoken to him about my case, though I never signed a release). I raised concerns that my teeth might break due to constant implant impact. Instead of fixing the problem, Dr. Brad repeatedly filed down healthy lower teeth to “adjust” the bite. Eventually, one cracked due to impact from the immobile implant. When it cracked, I scheduled an appointment as soon as possible. Instead of repairing it with composite—the standard of care—Dr. Brad filed it down further, leaving an adjoining tooth vulnerable. Days later, I returned because sharp edges were cutting my gums. Rather than fixing this, he filed further and filed the adjacent tooth to a sharp point, which now often cuts my tongue. He claimed the cracked tooth had “absorption issues” and would eventually need pulling—though he couldn’t say when. On July 15, 2025, my new orthodontist reviewed the images, found no absorption issues, and included that tooth in my final corrective plan. That same day, after three other consults, I secured treatment with him. He confirmed my entire bite would need rebuilding, with some healthy molars filed down to accommodate the improper implant placement. I will never regain my natural bite structure. On July 16, 2025, he created an emergency Essex retainer to prevent further cracking, which I now wear while waiting for permanent appliances. Cosmetically, one front crown sits noticeably higher than the others. Although the gum had receded prior to treatment, I was never referred to a periodontist. Instead, Dr. Keith performed an unconsented laser procedure that burned the gum line and caused permanent discoloration. This also caused visible front-teeth asymmetry, and the gum recession was never addressed. I was never informed of the laser’s risks. This lack of comprehensive planning not only led to a cosmetic result far below what should have been possible given the significant investment I made—it also permanently compromised my bite structure, caused chronic discomfort with worsening TMJ issues, and left me with significant ongoing and expensive corrective needs.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to this dentist for many years. Once my son was old enough, I started taking him there as well. He is now 13 and not afraid to go to the dentist. I give them credit for that because I know the dentist can be scary for both kids and adults. They are always so friendly and you typically get the same hygienist which is comforting! Updating 5 years later - still loving my dental office. My son still has no complaints! They've implemented a 'Patter'. IYKYK! She took my mind off getting numbed which was great!

I'm a southern girl that really likes to get her money's worth. Every person we have come in contact within this office has been very Pleasant, helpful an very accommodating. Fantastic experience: I live in Winston-Salem, yet I make the trip to Archdale because of the quality of care I receive here. I've been going to this practice for over 30 years! I wouldn't even consider another dentist practice!! I highly recommend this practice for the customer service and the knowledge and care of the technicians and doctors!! The front office staff worked to get me in in a timely fashion when I had to reschedule an appointment recently, and April and Sarah tag-teamed to get my cleaning and exam taken care of. And as always, Dr. Dan was thorough, friendly and positive. Second to none care here!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been dealing with constant TMJ pain for months without any relief and struggled to find a place that could see me urgently—most had months-long wait times. This clinic was the first to truly listen, care, and take action to help me. They got me in quickly, and I finally felt heard and supported. The prices are very reasonable, and they work with you to find a solution that fits your needs. The provider clearly explained what I needed to do to treat my pain, and I’m so grateful for their help!

Fantastic experience: Expert staff. The hygienists are the best I've ever seen. The dentists are cutting edge in technology and at the top of the chart. Very talented. They were able to 3D print a crown for me in their own on site lab while I waited in the chair. This place is ultra efficient. And the office is efficient. You better be on time because they are pretty full and everything is on time. They follow up with email, Phone, and text. 4 dentists in the practice and 26 hygienists. I switched to them after using a very close friend for over 30 years. Hated leaving my friend but this place is just so efficient and on top of technology. Very skilled staff. I have known the owners for over 30 years and they are great people. I would never have made the move if my wife had not told me about them. My old dentist wanted to pull a tooth I had and it didn't want to come out, so i gave them a try. These guys saved the tooth with a crown they built on site in their lab. It killed me to leave my friend but it's a different dentist experience. You will not dread going to the dentist again.
