Negative experience: I called before visiting for a particular treatment and they gave me an appointment. Once I reached they did the exams and said they don’t treat this here. Why did then gave me appointment at first if cannot treat at your center? Disappointing.

Fantastic experience: Was at creative smiles, due to an emergency, cracked crown. As always, the staff was very friendly, professional, and helpful throughout the process.

Negative experience: My family and I started using Creative Smiles about 2014ish if my memory serves me right. Everything was great until Dr. Tharp left. Since then we have noticed none of the hygienist that we always used to see are there and the feeling of a small hometown dental office is gone. I was just there on 7/24 and it will be the final time. The "cleaning" took about 10min. and the dentist never came in the room for normal post cleaning exam. I was told I owed $36.50 and it was a regular semi annual appointment and we have 2 dental insurances? Multiple calls and messages later to figure out was this charge was for have gone unanswered and unreturned. We have several other issues that we have tried to be patient with and worked through and it really seems like after all these years our family is just another number.

Fantastic experience: As always the staff is friendly and professional. I never have to wait to be called back by the hygienist to start the cleaning process. After that the doctor comes in and does a quick check and I'm out the door. Agree once again to this review.

Negative experience: I was not happy because my one teeth was broken and dr told me they can fill/fix it but can’t guarantee that will go for 1-2 week or less then will have to go either root canal way or extract and was charging high amount & was mentioned will not cover in insurance. So I suggest why can’t we go in first step to root canal/ extract then dr told she has to check with there specialist team. So I feel should have more experience doctors.

Fantastic experience: Thank you Dr.Hannah and her team for getting me in during cracked and infected and brutally painful molar emergency!! Stubborn Tooth was extracted within 60 minutes of calling and begging for help on a friday before memorial day holiday weekend- and no pain since! Awesome customer service as always!!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been here twice now. Once with my daughter for her appointment and once for my own appointment. Not only is the office clean and nice, the staff is really nice. I have so much anxiety when it comes to the dentist and actually stated that in the questionnaire and they took that very seriously. Both the hygienist & the dentist made sure I was okay multiple times during my appointment. I’ve never felt so comfortable in the dentist chair. My teenager also loves it there. If you have anxiety like I do, definitely try this office out.

Negative experience: I do not recommend this practice. Although staff are nice, there are some shady practices. First, cleaning by the dental hygienist was the worst I’ve ever had. She took maybe 5 minutes to clean and didn’t even floss my teeth. Second, while leaving, I stopped by billing, they asked if I would like to take care of the bill. This is routine cleaning and I’ve never been asked to pay since it’s taken care of by my insurance. I was taken aback and I said this is routine cleaning I don’t know what wouldn’t be covered by insurance. Now, fast forward and I get a bill for $109. I clicked on view bill and there’s no description of the charge. I have asked for an itemized bill so I will come back and update this review with how it resolves or doesn’t.

Negative experience: I did not care for Creative Smiles. I had my first visit with them and thought they were very nice but not a great fit. I have braces and have had braces for over 2 year and have had regular cleanings throughout the 2 years with another dentist out of state. We moved to Missouri and at my first visit, I was informed that I would need to have my wire taken off at my orthodontist to have a decent cleaning. My orthodontist is an hour away, which Creative Smiles was informed. I told them that I didn't have an entire day to waste to just get a cleaning so my visit was a very rushed, half way done cleaning, which was the worst cleaning that I have had in the entire 2 years of having braces. I will not go back.

Fantastic experience: First visit to this office. It was clean and modern, and front desk was friendly. First staff, very friendly conducted a new patient work up with lots of XRAYs, pictures and scans, the most comprehensive I’ve experienced. Dr. Hannah was super nice with great energy, and made me feel comfortable and confident. Last stop was with the Hygienist who did a great cleaning, while explaining exactly what she was doing and why. Been doing this over 50 years, and found the visit to be enjoyable and informative.

Fantastic experience: I have had a long road. Beginning with having my teeth pulled, to getting dentures and now I have had some implants put in for my dentures to snap to. I am made to feel very welcomed, comfortable and relaxed every time I have been in. I WILL NOT go anywhere else! If you have been thinking about getting implants then Dr Hannah is a must go to for getting them done. You will not be disappointed!! If I could give more than 5 stars on the review I absolutely would without hesitation.

Fantastic experience: My family loves Creative Smiles! We found a dental team we all look forward to visiting. Dr.Tharp takes such amazing care of us, she is friendly, warm and very knowledgeable. The hygienists are top notch and the front desk is always helpful, polite and patient. It's a very Professional and welcoming office, and that's hard to find in this day and age.

Positive experience: Staff and doctor were professional and all business. Wait time was short. They did a lot of X-rays. Seemed more than necessary. I would have liked if they would have reviewed costs before just doing procedures but that doesn’t seem unusual for doctors/ dentists. I will go back.

Positive experience: The hygienist was friendly, but I wasn't happy with the teeth cleaning. She didn't do measurements, didn't suction my mouth while cleaning until the end of the cleaning (my mouth was full) and did not floss at the end of the cleaning. This procedure was always done by a hygienist before. I always rec'd a goody bag at the end but not this time. This experience was not up to par as my last visit. I called the office, got another appointment and was pleasantly surprised. Hygienist Mikala was awesome. Recleaned my teeth, did measurements and flossed. The dentist examined my mouth with no problems found. I already had my next appointment scheduled, but they scheduled my following appt. so that I would have a slot for 2025. Would recommend Creative smiles to everyone.

Positive experience: It’s getting difficult to schedule cleanings. The office calls often and attempts to reschedule quite a bit. My latest cleaning was not the greatest experience. The dentist I saw did seem good and knowledgeable.

Fantastic experience: I am always pleased with how gently and thoroughly the staff works with my teeth. I have absolutely no trepidation coming to my appointments here. All are well-trained and are up-to-date on all their practices.

Negative experience: They messed up our appointments from the get go. They keep texting us that an appointment has opened up even when I’m not due for an appt. They told my husband another 5 months to get him in after they were the ones that messed up scheduling his appt in the first place. There cancelled his appt without notice before. This place is a complete mess. Don’t waste your time scheduling an appt. Trust me….its not worth your time.

Negative experience: I had been seeing Dr Tharp for 14 years when she left. After covid I understood the short staffing issues and it taking roughly 8-9 months in between cleanings. That continued until my last appointment less then a year ago but not sure if they are caught up yet. The office has changed and seems to be more about upselling patients. They tried to significant other invisalign when his teeth are straight. My issue was in part 1 with the billing. The last few cleanings I was told I owed $50 before I left and I would argue it due to having the same insurance for the last 16 years and no changes to coverage. I gave in to paying it and the first time she said oh wait it is giving you a credit when I add the payment.....I said of course it is because I don't have any sort of copay. The last straw was my last visit where once again I had to pay $50 for some unknown reason (My EOB from Delta Dental showed they covered my cleaning) I switched to another office where many employees working there had also left Creative Smiles. I went in for my first cleaning and guess what? I didn't owe a penny since my insurance covered it. Secondly my last appointment there I let the hygenist know my gums had been bleeding really bad with each brushing. She said everything looked good, nothing was wrong and keep doing what I'm doing with my electric toothbrush and water pick. I went to the new dentist 6 months later for a cleaning with the same issue and had to get a deep cleaning due to the shape my gums were in. I hadn't changed my routine at all so that tells me they weren't properly cleaning my teeth (I have sensitive gums) at Creative Smiles the past year when I'd get my cleanings. Thirdly during my last visit they had me update my records. I found out that they had mine and my daughters info all mixed up in our charts. Loved this office for 15 years but it has definitely changed. The dentists are nice but that's about all I can say.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Tharp is an excellent Dentist who pays attention to detail. She describes the treatment plan very clearly and gives you options. She has a happy upbeat personality that is reflected by the entire office. I love going there. It’s a happy courteous, place. Give them a try‼️

Also, while they offer a variety of services, they definitely don’t pressure you into any of them.Dr. Phinney gives reasonable treatment options, but definitely does not force anything. Negative experience: I've been goin to this dentist office for over 6 years and my last visit was the worse visit. I left more in pain then when i arrived. I spwnd $400. The assistant dropped her glove and still put it on her hand. I needed a temporary cap which usually looks like a real tooth until the official cap and what I received looks like i stuck a piece of gum there. I tried calling the next day and never got a response. Please do not waste your time or energy.

Negative experience: Trash. Used car sales. Threw in x-rays and exam costs at arrival for teeth whitening gift that was sold just before mother's day. Never once mentioned it during that conversation while giving a very detailed explanation of the three levels of treatments available. Current receptionist threw that rep under the bus and said she's no longer employed here - not our fault. Don't be fooled.

Fantastic experience: LOVE Creative Smiles! The staff is always so friendly and helpful! Nicole always takes her time and makes sure my teeth are sparkly clean! Been a patient for over 15 years!

Negative experience: The office was fantastic when Dr. Tharp was here, now it had down spiraled. Some of my dental records weren't even on file after we found out Dr. Tharp left so we had to explain my condition to the doctors several times, especially with each different visit. I don't mean to sound rude but I'm starting to wonder if the doctors and nurses know how to fill cavities, I had a filling back in October and the sensitivity is so bad now that I can hardly chew on my left side of my mouth, I can understand one mishap but my mom is experiencing the same thing as of recent, she had gotten it back in January. And the scheduling is such a pain as well with reschedules and not guaranteeing if the doctor would be there that day.

Negative experience: Always a good experience** edit. Really disappointed, I always thought it was customary for the dr to check the health and for potential issues but I guess that’s not so. Now I have an issue that could have been helped or prevented had something had been said during any of my 2 visits a year.

Fantastic experience: Dr Hannah is AMAZING, she took care of my issues and now I have a plan to take care of my teeth. I also want to give a big shout out to the team….you all are amazing very friendly staff who walk around with smiles on their faces. I personally recommend and I will refer anyone I know . Fantastic experience: If I could give more stars I would 100%!! I don’t do well at the dentist, but I was there to have a crown done and was very nervous, but they were amazing and went way above and beyond made sure I was comfortable the whole time and made sure I made it to the car ok. They are the best!!!

Negative experience: When you offer a service and then you lie and don’t honor what was offered is not acceptable. I wish Dr Tharp was still at the office because I believe she would not have told me she was going to do something and then back out at the last minute. And to make matters worse, promise to call and help come up with a solution and never return calls is a very poor way to treat patients.

Negative experience: Update: 4 years later, it now takes forever to make an appointment at this office. We had appointments for over 6 months. The day of, they call us and tell us we must reschedule because a hygienist is out today. Why can't another patient be made to reschedule? Will not work with us. Very frustrating. I would not recommend this office. Our children, especially our son, have always hated the dentist and had horrible experiences. We finally found a place where the dentists are not only highly qualified, but also patient and kind. They also have a wonderful staff! We have been able to schedule appointments easily and they have accommodated our crazy schedule with ease! Thank you Creative Smiles!

As far as the front staff Alex and Aerial go, they are so kind and patient, even when a client is being less than reasonable! I watched as Ashley did a WONDERFUL job de-escalating a situation, just by being a good listener and taking the time to show she understood their concerns.

Negative experience: Wow. I have been coming here for over 10 years. Never have I ever thought I would be writing this review. First of all, my daughter saw the wrong doctor. My wife called the day before and verified it was with Dr Tharp. Did she see Dr Tharp, only after this was brought to our attention a whole another doctor showed up. The front office staff was not organized, they were going from paper to paperless and could tell that no one knew what they were doing. Then my daughter gets not only talked to about her teeth, but criticized for how bad they are. She was accused of eating sugar foods ( first off she hates sugar foods), and also was told (she’s 15) her orthodontist did a horrible job on her teeth. After the dental assistant complained about how horrible she was to her teeth and accused her of not sleeping with her retainer (ummm she does I promise you) she then went into me on how my daughter doesn’t take care of her teeth (do you know she brushes like 4 times a day and refuses to drink soda because it might discolor them). Then I was handed a treatment plan costing over 1,000, and told that my daughters orthodontist did a horrible job and stuff would need to get fixed. We just saw him a couple weeks ago and there were no issues. He is the best in town). The way you treated not only my 15 year old daughter and belittled her to her face was the worst service I have ever seen. We will not be coming back to be talked to that we are nothing. If you want to go and get belittled this is your place. Our daughter use to love going to the dentist today she left crying and six she never wanted to see another one again. Good job at doing your job.

Fantastic experience: Let me start off by saying dentists make me extremely anxious. After my first visit here I feel alot more comfortable. It was the best dentist appointment I've ever had. I'm glad that I chose to make an appointment with them.

Negative experience: My interactions with staff was good. Dentist is good. They gave me a dental "plan" of what my insurance would cover but there plan was wrong which feels bait and switch. Suppose to be $280.00 after my cavities were filled. They said nothing wt check in. They filled the cavities and at check out blind sided me saying I owed them close to $700.00 dollars!!! If they were honest upfront I would have waited to fill the cavities until insurance rolled over.

Fantastic experience: The staff is so kind and professional! Dr H is super personable, kind and humble. I needed a cosmetic front tooth filling repaired and they got me in the next day! Best of all, Dr H was meticulous to get the filling just right. It looks perfect and completely not noticeable! Extremely happy patient! Highly recommend for all dental needs. My whole family goes here.

Fantastic experience: Came in today for a consult on getting new retainers, taking off my permanent retainer, and what to do about jaw clenching. The staff was extremely nice and caring. Dr. Hanah listened to everything I said, referred me to a specialist for my jaw, took off my retainer and cleaned the teeth thoroughly, and got the imaging done for my new retainers. No molds that make you gag! We plan on switching over to this office for cleanings as well.

Negative experience: Everyone be aware that they will arbitrarily cancel your appointment if you don’t contact them or answer their phone call the day before by 2pm. Which I never received. Also, when you make the appointment as a new patient they DO NOT relay that information to you! So you show up for your appointment after you have taken the day off and lost income to be told they canceled your appointment. If I could give 0 stars I would. That is ridiculous!

Fantastic experience: I've been coming to this office for nearly 8 years and have nothing but compliments for it! The entire staff is kind, efficient, and knowledgeable. I'm always in and out in 30 minutes for a standard cleaning. Once I came in for a standard teeth cleaning and while I was there, they took care of divet I had in one of my teeth. I still made it in and out faster than I'd even get out of the waiting room at a doctor's office. I love it here!

Negative experience: Lol. I called and specifically asked them to schedule me for a cleaning. I made this January 10th appointment back in October. They had ample time to secure a hygienist for me. They scheduled me for the cleaning. When I arrived, they told me, "Our hygienists are all booked. We don't do cleanings for new patient visits." And the dentist sure wasn't going to do the cleaning. She was pretty clear about that. Nevermind that it was her office's mistake. The smart business move would have been to just do my cleaning. My previous dentist would do the cleanings himself if a hygienist was out. I miss his office -- too bad my insurance dropped him. I walked out. I really don't like having my time wasted, but I get the feeling that I dodged a bullet in the longrun. For the record: I did not receive any exam, xrays, cleaning, or treatment of any kind, so I better not see my insurance billed for anything. I'm typing this for the public to see, to make it clear that no services were performed on January 10th and they refused to perform the one service I had originally requested (cleaning). I showed up to my appointment on time expecting the cleaning I had requested. They were the ones who changed our agreement. So I repeat: There better not be a bill. Update: I called the office today, Jan 11th at 11:18 AM and the office confirmed I am not being billed. I also could have sworn my appointment time was originally for 3:30, but when they called to confirm, it switched to 3:00 pm. I'm very thorough about writing down appointment times and I always read the appointment information back to the schedulers over the phone. But I figured maybe this one time I made a mistake. However, after this communication debacle with the office telling me I won't be getting a cleaning after I know I explicitly requested one, I have my suspicions that the office changed my appointment time or the person over the phone told me the incorrect time. I scheduled a new appointment at a different dental office and specifically asked, "Will you clean my teeth when I arrive as a new patient?" The new place laughed and said, "Of course." I explained to them what Creative Smiles did and they thought it was absurd that they wouldn't clean a new patient's teeth, especially after that was what I requested when scheduling my appointment. If you want to schedule with this office, go ahead, but don't be surprised if they switch things around on you due to poor communication. All I wanted was a simple dental cleaning and that was just too much for them to explain, handle, or schedule -- and they had four months to figure it out.

Fantastic experience: It’s hard to use text to express my satisfaction with Dr Tharp. Today’s experience is another example of why I am impressed with Dr Tharp and her staff. She resolved my problem by making the time to explain and take care of my problem. It was done with care and amazingly without PAIN. This dentist is the best dentist I have had in my lifetime and I’m 75.

Fantastic experience: My daughter had her upper front tooth broken off playing volleyball. After seeing the endodontist for a root canal, her regular pediatric dentist was not equipped to restore her tooth. We were desperate to find another dentist who would do the restoration. Creative smiles was absolutely fantastic and able to squeeze us in the next day! They were able to use her original tooth that broke off, and it looks like nothing had ever happened!! They truly made an awful situation turn out wonderful! My 15 y/o daughter was truly thankful and ecstatic that she did not have a missing front tooth for more than 2 days. They also completely relieved a stressed out mother! Everyone was so friendly, pleasant, upbeat, and helpful, you could really tell they love their job and take it seriously. I highly recommend Creative Smiles at Winghaven. I am forever thankful!

I was very nervous but they instantly made me feel at ease. Dr. Tharp was very attentive to me and she did a very professional job on my procedure. Fantastic experience: Great experience and value. Been a patient for several years and this practice is outstanding. Staff are professional and friendly. Dr Tharp is a skilled professional who is focused on the patient. What I like best is we see the same hygienists and dentist each visit. Great place for kids. We have 10, 11 and13 year olds that are as excited about coming here as going to the zoo! The two dental practices we went to in this area previously pale in comparison. I never saw the same hygienist twice. Only rarely did I see the same dentist twice. So, go to Creatve Smiles. You won’t regret it.

Fantastic experience: Today I had an 8:30 am appointment I was scheduled to have a broken tooth filled. I was out the door in the car driving home by 9:10 am. I received full mouth X-rays plus she checked all my teeth and did a complete filling then I went to pay and schedule two other appointments and was still out of there and in my car Driving home by 9:10. Everyone was so nice and professional and was just a great experience!

Dr. Tharp is very good at her craft and provides almost pain free dentistry. Brooke does a fantastic job too. The facilities are always neat and clean. I highly recommend them.

Fantastic experience: Really friendly and thorough service. The reception area was very comfortable and the staff very sweet. Nice environment too! Just updating--Creative Smiles continues to be awesome. I love my hygienist, Nicole. She is super sweet and does a wonderful job scaling, flossing, polishing, etc.

Fantastic experience: My experience at Creative Smiles was delightful. That’s right! No one has ever heard me say, my trip to the dentist was enjoyable! My Plus I’m looking forward to my next visit/cleaning. The hygienist made me feel quite comfortable. Can’t remember going to the dentist without getting a shot to numb up my gums. Or regretting my dental visit. My visit was painless and comfortable. And I’m looking forward to my return visit.
