Fantastic experience: I appreciate the state of the art dental procedures. I also value the years of experience Dr Matterson shares with his patients. The office is also run very efficiently and most always with a smile!!

Negative experience: I was calling for new patient information and the receptionist/woman was very rude on the call. I had a couple simple questions regarding insurance and she was short with me and her tone changed quickly when I asked if they were in network. Would not recommend based on that one phone call alone.

Fantastic experience: They need to move the scale to 100! Everyone I’ve encountered with from the front office up to our Dentist has been beyond amazing. The care and passion they show for my wife and I is truly inspiring. I’ve haven’t even gotten to the work they had to do on my teeth. I’ve hidden my smile for 50 years. I’ve never smiled so big in my life now. They also made it all happen within a few weeks so I could smile big for my son’s wedding. It’s great when your kids come up to there dad and say “Dad we love you but you look 20 years younger and we’ve never seen you smile like this”. The staff is awesome, namely Andrea, my dental hygienist who somehow makes cleanings fun, Dr. Egan who is beyond kind, patient and caring for my autistic grandson and Dr. Blinn who is a talented, young guy who cares about his staff and patients. Last but not least, the front desk always makes you feel comfortable and sets the mood for the beginning and end of the appointment. It’s the best dental experience we have ever had, simply the best people!

Fantastic experience: Just had 12 of my front teeth capped, upper & lower. They came out perfectly in color & fit. Look like natural teeth, not false ones & already getting compliments on how lucky I am to have such beautiful natural teeth. Negative experience: Made an appointment online for a cleaning. Went to my appointment timely. When I arrived, the lady at the front desk said she had tried to call and cancel my appointment. I have received no messages from the office. I have never been talked to so angrily, mean, and down right nasty. If you don’t leave a message, how am I to know? If this was my practice, the lady up front with the curly dark hair would be fired immediately. I would never allow her to be the face of my business.

Fantastic experience: After ten years I had some decay occurring and had to have two crowns removed to deal with it. An expensive but necessary fix which was dealt with professionally and quickly by Dr Masterson and Emily. We shared some fun stories of our 20 year relationship. I would highly recommend and trust this dentist and facility.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Laurey and her staff are incredible. The front desk went above and beyond to help me. The technicians are fantastic- The least painful x-rays I’ve ever had. Dr. Laurey repaired my filling very well and helped me come up with a plan for my dental needs. Going to the dentist is stressful for me and they put my mind at ease. I highly recommend them.

Knowing that it's difficult to get dental appointments, I was able to book 2 more future appointments in 2025. It's now 2025 and they still are meeting all expectations...staff member Marge does a great job and is very thorough.

My hygienist, Andrea, always makes me feel comfortable and lets me know how I am doing with my dental routine. And my dentist, Dr. Masterson, knowing that, unfortunately, I have poor dental genes, always tries to provide me with the most effective, cost efficient treatment. Fantastic experience: I made an appointment to have them fix a filling that kept coming out from a previous dentist office. Super fast and efficient checkin and the staff was on point. Very courteous and not only fixed the issue, but found other issues my previous dentist “missed”. With that said, this is now my new dentist, and couldn’t be happier with the service I received yesterday.

Negative experience: An absolute joke of an office model. Scheduled a new patient consultation for earlier April at which the receptionist calls to tell me they don’t do cleanings at the consultation but can schedule one SIX months later. Why even bother doing the consultation when it will change before the cleaning half a year later. Just skip this place. It’s a waste of time.

Positive experience: This dental practice is one of the best I’ve ever had. I love my dental hygienist, Monica. She has always been efficient and thorough in cleaning my teeth. Puts you at ease, reassuring and thoughtful with your comfort level. Dr. Aleta (sp) is a wonderful dentist. She is gentle in her techniques and does a great job. My only complaint is that they no longer take my insurance, so everything is out of pocket and services here are expensive.

Negative experience: Need just a cleaning but they insisted that I have to have X-rays 1st then they could make a separate cleaning appt. When I got there for my X-rays I asked when the next available cleaning appointment was and they told me seven months from the date of the x-ray appointment. I think that was very underhanded. I'll never go back there!

Fantastic experience: Dr Masterson is the best! Had to get a crown replaced due to some decay, & he found more decay & some silver filling that was left! He made sure everything was perfect before I got the temporary. Emily assisted & was just as wonderful. No one likes to see the dentist (including me) but I feel confident I get the best from Lakewood Ranch Dental! When I get my teeth cleaned by Andrea, she does an excellent job!

Fantastic experience: I've only been there once. But Dr Madison seems very authentic. No upsell no by this or by that. Very authentic nice office new equipment opposite of my last dentist who I think used tools a caveman gave them. I got an appointment quickly and then I got a cleaning appointment quickly after that.
