Fantastic experience: Our family has been with Heritage for many years. Dr. Nguyen makes procedures as painless as possible with wonderful results, as well as always remembering details about our family. The staff and hygienists are professional and detail oriented as well!

Fantastic experience: I just had a root canal and crown done and didn’t feel any pain at all. Little to no swelling on my face or gums. Since I really dislike going to the dentist, I was definitely nervous about it, but it turned out fine.

Fantastic experience: I felt very welcome and comfortable with everyone. The girl who assisted Dr Drinkwater is so sweet. I’m really going to miss Dr Drinkwater but I’m so impressed she is continuing higher education. She is a very impressive person. Also doing my cleaning herself because she knows how much anxiety I have is so appreciated. Don’t know another Dentist that would do that. And she is so fast and my teeth feel great. I’m really going to miss her. But she picked who I should see when she’s gone. But I will be going to her for any oral surgery in the future. I don’t want her to miss me forever. Lol. It’s a great place and everyone is so nice.

Negative experience: Poor customer service -- with all the traffic and issue on the roads I called ahead to let them know I was caught in traffic -- when I arrived I walked in and they told they cancelled my appointment. The last time I was in their office I had to wait 20 minutes on them because they were running behind. ---- I called ahead of time to inform them I was on my way and they said okay. When I walked in the door they said my appointment was cancelled. --- Horrible service -- I do not recommend this Dentist to anyone---They just lost a customer --

Fantastic experience: Great place in everyway. Started with meeting another patient in the waiting room who drives 5 hrs for his appointment. Dr Drinkwater and her staff are awesome and vey thorough.

Negative experience: I had been going to see dentist all my life pretty much. I never feared going to a dentist, not until I came here and was told I needed a crown during a simple cleaning. I had not experienced pain. I just wanted to get it done trying to be proactive. Scheduled the appt. Once they put the temporary crown on I started having issues. I complained about my teeth before the permanent crown was put on. After putting the permanent crown on, my teeth/mouth/the thing I use to chew my food with everyday was never the same. I miss the days when I could eat and not have to think about how to chew to try tobstay away from the problem crown. But that wasn't the worst of it. I went to an appt. to have them to take another look at it and as I was leaving, the front desk handed me an estimate of $1709.00 to correct the issue with the tooth even though they were paid by both me and the insurance company for the crown on the SAME tooth. Needless to say I now have a fear of dentist and I definitely don't trust this debtal office.

Fantastic experience: Just took my whole crew to Heritage Family Dentistry for new patient appointments, and WOW, they were amazing! As a former dental hygienist of 17 years (aka very picky about my dental care), I’m thrilled to say we’ve found our dental home! They were quick, efficient, super conservative in treatment (which I love), and absolutely wonderful with my nervous kiddos. The team explained everything clearly, showed me exactly what they were seeing, and best of all, no pressure, no selling, just honest, thoughtful care. If you're a mom juggling kids, appointments, and a snack bag that’s 80% goldfish, trust me, this is the office you want. We were in and out smoothly, everyone left smiling! Highly recommend, so thankful we found them!

Positive experience: We loved the hygienist, she always does a great job. However, as we were driving home I realized we never saw the dentist. I understand mistakes happen and I should have noticed it before we left. Between the dentist and the hygienist this should not happen.

The cleaning was decidedly thorough and still I was in and out in 40 minutes. Overall, I am very happy with the quality of their service.

Fantastic experience: When a crown, previously created and set by a different dentist, unexpectedly failed one recent afternoon, I was able to book a first-thing-the-next-morning appointment at Heritage Family Dentistry with Dr. David Nguyen. Dr. Nguyen repaired and reattached the crown and offered much helpful advice for future expectations and options. Dental assistant Janet was also kind and gentle. The offices are approximately 45 minutes from my home ... and totally worth the trip. I'm grateful to be a new patient at Heritage Family Dentistry!

My dentist is very up to date with technique and training. Excellent communication skills, and leaves you feeling happy to chose her as your dentist.

Negative experience: I’ve been a loyal customer for almost 4 years, but today was extremely disappointing. I was arriving 17 minutes late — just 2 minutes past the 15-minute grace period — and was refused service. To make things worse, they said they would still charge me. So much for customer appreciation and flexibility. Amazing customer service.

We have had many dentists in different parts of country, but he is hands down the most competent, professional, compassionate, and kindest dentist. Fantastic experience: Great experience! I had a crown that came off and needed to get in quick. I hoped that I could get a cleaning while I was in so I could get everything done in one trip. Heritage got me in immediately for my crown repair, but had to schedule my cleaning later because their schedule was already full for that day. Well before my appointment time, they sent a text informing me that they had availability for a cleaning. I came in at 9:30am and was out the door at 10:45am. Everyone at Heritage was very friendly and professional….couldnt ask for better service.

Fantastic experience: When we moved to back to the area almost 8 years ago, we went through several dentists. One wasn’t patient with my frightened child, another wouldn’t let me be in the room with my child during a routine exam. With another I felt like I was just a number. When we finally found our way to this office, we found a dentist office that was a great fit for the needs of our whole family. They are friendly, efficient and most of all, I am confident they take great care of our teeth. I have recommended them to several friends. Fantastic experience: I'm very impressed after my recent visit to Heritage Family Dentistry. I had a tooth that was causing me some concern. I called first thing in the morning and was able to be seen that day. I first met with the dental hygienist to identify and document my concerns. Within a few minutes of arriving, I was having an X-ray of the tooth and surrounding area. Dr. Nguyen came in a few minutes later and talked to me about that area and also talked to me about a different area he wanted to keep watching based on what he was seeing (this was not something I was even considering, but his thorough explanation helped me understand why it was a concern). Based on this experience and previous routine check-ups, I am incredibly satisfied with the level of service and professionalism demonstrated by Heritage Family Dentistry. The services received are very thorough and I have never had unnecessary procedures or services suggested or recommended. I will not hesitate to recommend them to others.

Negative experience: I just moved to the area from South Carolina and I had such an amazing dentist there. I came here and I just had an upsetting experience. Wasn’t very friendly, the office smelt weird, the dentist was telling me all these cosmetic things I “needed.” I just wouldn’t recommend this dentist.

Negative experience: As a doctor MYSELF, I can say that if you value your time, health and sanity, DO NOT step foot in this dental office. My husband's experience here has been nothing short of a nightmare. He went back in December for a cleaning and was told he had a cavity that needed a ROUTINE filling performed, and what followed was an agonizing, months-long ordeal that should have been avoidable. It was never mentioned to my husband that a root canal could be a possibility moving forward and his medical notes (that we requested) also reflected NO COMMUNICATION TO THE PATIENT about possible outcomes for this tooth after this procedure. Immediately after his filling, he experienced chronic discomfort that he had never had before that only got worse. The pain escalated into HORRIFIC facial swelling and unbearable jaw pain. He returned to the office for a recheck, hoping for a solution, but was dismissed with nothing more than a prescription for muscle relaxers and a vague suggestion that the primary dentist he saw (Dr. Lu) may have drilled too close to the root. As the week progressed, the pain progressed and a fulminant abscess developed on his lower L jaw. He had to go to urgent care, where he was prescribed antibiotics and additional pain medication, all of which we had to pay out of pocket. As if that wasn't bad enough, he later found out that a root canal was now required to suddenly fix this issue. When he tried to discuss pricing, this office had the audacity to charge him the full price (for out of network despite being in network) for a procedure that was likely the result of their own incompetence. As if it could not get worse, we asked to speak with the owner of the practice to work out a resolution or at least get an explanation, but he couldn't even be bothered to return our call. Not a single word of empathy or accountability. This dental practice has no regard for patient care, professionalism, or ethical responsibility. My husband has suffered unnecessary pain and multiple misdiagnoses. Avoid this office AT ALL COSTS -- they are not worth the risk to your health, your time or your bank account. We will be pursuing legal action moving forward as well as contacting the American Board of General Dentistry.

Fantastic experience: It was the first time I went to the dentist in a LONG time. I had arrived early and my dental hygienist, Tandra, pulled me back early since she read in my chart I had anxiety about going to the dentist. Tandra took her time and listened to why I haven’t been to the dentist in forever and how nervous I was. She took her time to explain everything she was doing to me- which I really appreciated! By the time I got to meet Dr. Nguyen (who is amazing), my anxiety was already at ease. I did have to get a gingival cleaning but Tandra put numbing gel on my gums and let me know that if I felt pain, we could take a break or even stop. I have to come back in 3 months just to make sure my everything is going as planned, and I honestly wish I would have come to Heritage Family Dentistry sooner!! If you have dental anxiety, I highly recommend them.

Negative experience: A dentist’s office that I had spent thousands of dollars on or over the years. Nickel & diming with fees is not the right way to conduct business and their office folks are generally as rude & nasty as they come.

Negative experience: Initially, I was grateful for them squeezing me in during the holidays for an aching tooth. After an X-ray, it was decided that I needed my wisdom teeth pulled, that I would have to have an oral surgeon perform the procedure, and that they would refer me to one. In the meantime, it was suggested to rinse my mouth with peroxide and use Advil and Tylenol for the excruciating pain I was experiencing. For that pain, the next morning, I found myself in the emergency room (which was Christmas Eve), where they gave me antibiotics and pain meds through an IV, along with a few prescriptions. I later called and left a message on the emergency line. The on-call dentist set up an appointment for me to immediately have my teeth pulled; however, it was later rejected after being told that I would need to be sedated and the referred dentist did not do that. I was sent a text canceling the procedure and told to call another surgeon they usually use. That surgeon was booked 2 weeks out and the pain I was experiencing was unbearable. Since he was booked, I was told to call my insurance company and find another surgeon. This was disheartening due to the fact that I would trust a referred dentist from my dentist rather than a random one on the internet. Needless to say, I was disappointed in this protocol and no one never called me back to see whether or not I had found an oral surgeon. My husband ended up calling his dentist, who called him back, and referred me to an oral surgeon, who determined that my wisdom teeth were not the problem...I had a fractured tooth. A procedure was completed that day and I couldn't be more grateful that they got to the root of the actual problem. This review could have been 5 stars had I not had to find my own oral surgeon and if someone would have been kind enough to even follow up to see whether I had found one or not after being seen in the office, expressing my pain, and after speaking with an on-call dentist. However, sadly, my experience warranted 1 star.
