Fantastic experience: Only waited 5 min to go back. Had a filling done today and the Dr and hygienist were so friendly and calmed my nerves about the shot . Procedure went smoothly and I can say if you want a caring and gentle dentist… Go to Gentle Dentistry! They care about their patients!

Negative experience: The worst dental office I have ever been too!!

Fantastic experience: My first time back in the chair in almost 7 years so I was definitely anxious but Ms. Susan went above and beyond to make feel as comfortable and relaxed and it helped so much. Dr. Freyman was just as amazing and explained and went over a care plan to help get my healthy smile back. Thank you to both of you I appreciate everything you did for me today. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: I absolutely love, gentle family dentist I know I said love?! But it’s true everyone there is so sweet and kind. They literally treat you like family. The other day I was in getting a crown done and I legit went to sleep and woke myself up snoring that’s how relaxed I was, I have been going there for years and I finally do not dread going to the dentist. I actually look forward to it because I know I’m gonna be taking care of something that I need and I also know that I won’t be in any pain. And they won’t hurt me. If you are looking for a new dentist or a better dentist office, you’ve got to give them a try. I’ve seen several people there and I’ve had the same experience with all.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Tran M Nguyen and her assistant Angela were 10 stars. I felt very stressful before my appointment but that changed as soon as i entered there office. I felt very at ease and never felt any pain. Even my numbing, I did not even know when i had the shot! It was a great experience . I am very thankful for those two. From now on there will be no fear when I go to them for my dental needs.

Fantastic experience: July 2025: My latest visit was back to my normal visits-perfect. Both doctor and vet were the best. I started going here years ago because I have always had fears since attending the dentist as a child This place is the best and so glad I had the right dentist and tech. Kayla at the front desk is still pleasant and makes visits easy. May 21, 2025 Visit (Review)- I went in for treatment today and ONLY told then that my visit would be 2 hours and over $2000. My last visit here did not mention any of this. Kayla, who was great and very professional, shared that this was provided at my last visit. Still confused bc I definitely would have remembered needing that much time and fee. I continued to ask questions, trying to recall what happened at my last visit. Karla, not originally a part of the conversation, turned and loudly stated what Kayla had explained again. I motioned for her to lower her voice, but she either did not understand what I meant or did not care. I will assume a misunderstanding. I'm also sure she did not realize that my questions were for clarity and not a lack of understanding. And the loud voice and sharp tone were not rude, but very unprofessional. That kind of information should not be shared openly, and it was perceived as a reprimand. After I got home, I remembered that the information was never shared with me as the doctor and tech talked about my referral for a root canal, and that I would come back there for a permanent cap. I remembered the dentist saying he highly recommended him, and his mom was just recommended to the same doctor for a root canal. We discussed other treatment plans and would talk more after the root canal. No mention of the treatment plan, cost, or time was shared when the "staff" called me several times to schedule the after-root-canal care/visit. I share this as I would still recommend this office. I started to call the office back to inform them of this, but felt like they had moved on, and that it was "me" who did not remember. In the future, this has taught me to ask more questions instead of just scheduling a visit because someone is constantly calling you to schedule. Older Review This is the best place to go if you are fearful of dentists. I have been attending this office and seeing the dentist here for over 10+ years, and Dr. Wood for 2 years, and would highly recommend this office to anyone afraid of or having had bad experiences with dental treatment. The convenience of appointments around work schedules and always friendly staff are a plus.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a patient of Gentle Family Dentistry for about 15 years. Over all of those years I have ALWAYS had a pleasant experience. They (all staff including the office) have always been patient and kind. They are always up front with insurance coverage and options. I don’t love sitting in that chair lol but when I’m feeling a little anxious, they are so calming and never make me feel rushed. I highly recommend them!

Fantastic experience: Courtney and Dr Freyman were excellent. Courtney explained everything she was going to do before she did it and gave me explanations along the way as to what she was doing and why. I felt like both she and Dr. Freyman were willing to take the time to tell me how to take better lifelong care of my teeth and presented some options to me for doing so. They did not seem rushed at all. Everyone in the office was very friendly and welcoming.

Fantastic experience: Gentle Family Dentistry lives up to its name. This is a great practice with great dentists (love Dr. Griffin) and staff. I am a train wreck going to the dentist and I’m sure I show it (terrible past experiences from previous dental practices). Dr. Griffin was incredibly patient with me and I do believe patient comfort is a big priority. His friendly demeanor really put me at ease for the long procedure. His dental assistant Teresa was pretty amazing as well. A great team. This practice is so friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient from the moment you walk in the door until you leave. The office staff helped with all of my initial questions about orthodontic care and went above and beyond to research my insurance coverage. The hygienist and Dr Mohler are super thorough and friendly. I trust them for all of my dental care needs. Fantastic experience: Very happy patient now in my 20th year with Gentle Family Dentistry (my family of four, precisely). I went for a scheduled appointment (to fix one problem) and added another problem. Both were fixed in the allotted time, cheerfully and effectively. In today for a broken tooth. Once again, as described, good anesthsia, no pain, crown made and done without difficulty. More strong work! Dr. Mulnick, Mia, and Angela are a terrific team, get the job done well, in a pleasant and reassuring environment. As far as dental hygienists go, Courtney is absolute tops. Fantastic experience: They were able to work my husband in on a Friday after he chipped a filling. He was hoping to be able to fix the filling. But ended up needing a new crown, which they were able to do the same day. Chasity, Angela and Dr Mulnick were very patient and took good great care of him. We’ve been coming to this office for a long time and have always received great care.

Fantastic experience: I had a blunt force trauma to my face that lead to plastic surgery to correct the muscle and tissue inside my mouth. After hearing about my accident, staff reached out to me suggesting a checkup to make sure my teeth were in a good place. Dr. Mulnick walked me through what the X-rays showed and described how the damage I faced (pun intended) could have negative repercussions years down the road and because of this time stamp, I have record of the trauma caused days earlier. We now can keep an eye on the spot to make sure things don’t get worse. I am so happy and relieved that my care is in the hands of the whole team at General Family Dentistry!

Fantastic experience: I broke my tooth (had a partial crown on it from 3yrs ago). Needed a whole crown now. I LOVE Gentle Family Dentistry. They explained the process in detail beforehand and throughout the entire process. In my 63yrs, this is the first (and hopefully my last broken tooth) I’ll experience. The entire staff is phenomenal, Dr Griffin was awesome and so was Chastity. I’ve been going here for about 2 decades and they got me in right away to get this fixed. I highly recommend this practice.

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency with a cracked tooth and they were able to take me the next morning. Dr. Nguyen was very caring and explained the process throughly. This practice has always been exceptional when taking care of our family for many years. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: On yesterday I had my annual exam and cleaning - my hygienist was Susan who was amazing! And of course it was a pleasure seeing Dr. Mulnick who is truly amazing!!! She and her team always meet/exceed my expectations! I have been a patient at Gentle Family Dentistry for years now and I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else - I drive in from Fuquay (that’s how much I love the team)
