Positive experience: It's incredibly stressful that apparently not all Comfort Dental locations offer nitrous. Also stressful that the dentist had a copy of my medication list and either didn't read it or didn't understand that people on opiods cannot take benzos for anxiety management. Also also stressful that he assumed he knew the reason for my anxiety.

Fantastic experience: The dental assistant was so kind and non judgemental, I wish I could remember her name!! But if you're reading this I was your patient at 8am on 10.6.25! Having some broken teeth due to struggling to afford proper insurance has been very embarrassing for me now that I finally can afford care. Both the assistant and dentist treated me with respect, kindness, and understanding. Dr. Stewart was thorough and answered all my questions. He supported me with a treatment plan even offering different options to proceed that were cost considerate and beneficial to me as the patient long term. It's been a long time since I've had a positive experience with dentistry, this visit really helped give me the knowledge and confidence to deal with issues long overdue and painful.

Negative experience: They were super nice and seem receptive to hear what was going on, they gave referrals and everything seemed great. They told me they would send a rx in for me but never did, so now it's Saturday night and I'm in horrible pain and have to go to work in the morning with no hope of getting relief until Monday

Positive experience: (01/04/2025): I am finding Dr. Johnson and Danielle providing a friendly, competent professionalism and, importantly with the extensive work I am getting, great understanding and patience. (01/27/2025): However, they report significant problems with the lab making patient dentures, which has required starting over completely. Good thing my teeth are already pulled. Their trays for taking impressions are limited in comfort. (02/17/2025): Continued professionalism and patience. (3/19/25): Excellent service and attention to comfort. (08/12/2025) Not a good day for me to provide a fair assessment.(8/21/25) Dr. Johnson and Danielle continue to show the best in professionalism, thoroughness, and compassion. Both exceptional in patiently clarifying treatment. Wonderful and timely in follow-up. (9/11/25) Another wonderful follow-up for continuing denture adjustment and future work planning. All questions answered. Best care. (9/16/25) Continued patient professionalism. (9/25/25) Beginning work on dentures for lower jaw. Efficient extractions, though, of course, not without some attendant but unavoidable discomfort from novacaine injections into gums. Faster process than I expected. Overall, very good.

Fantastic experience: I entered the office at 925 am. They were short handed and had a broken chair, so I had to wait for a little while. Just as I got up they called me in and apologized for the delay. The dentist explained with an Xray what they were doing. He did a great job of deadening my teeth and pulling them. He then did a great job of putting in a bone graft. Everyone was very nice and professional.

Fantastic experience: I had a serious mouth infection that was affecting my health. Dr Stewart and Heidi assessed and devised a care plan. I had all of my teeth removed and dentures were ready for me that same day. I am now two months into the procedure and Heidi and Dr Stewart have stood by me the whole way. There has been weeks I can in twice in a week. At least once a week. They are making sure I am comfortable and adjusting to my new teeth as they keep them adjusting to my ever shrinking gums. The swelling is still going down and I am confident in my smile and my ability to eat and chew. I recommend this duo to anyone looking to make such a leap of faith. This way you never feel like you are doing this alone. These two have become friends in my corner.

Fantastic experience: Comfort Dental is definitely an appropriate moniker. Dr Johnson was considerate and professional, ensuring I was not suffering any pain, as well as very efficient, he quickly extracted my teeth, before I knew it he was finished, and I had quite a few teeth that needed to be yanked. And Yolanda? Incredible, as well, made me feel very comfortable. But my best friend told me about Comfort Dentist, she siad she advised great experience with them so called made an appointment and I went. They were so nice and great people I felt ateas. Negative experience: We’ve been patients of Dr. Johnson for over 15 years and we absolutely love him. He’s always been professional, kind, and excellent at what he does. Unfortunately, since Angie wouldn’t let us speak with him directly, the only way we can make sure he knows what’s happening is by leaving this review. When we came in for treatment, Angie insisted we pay for the entire procedure out of pocket even though we have very good insurance and have never once had an unpaid balance here. When I asked her why, she said, “I have to go off what the website tells me.” I pointed out that the website shows crowns are covered at 60%, but her response was, “It’s not a guarantee that your insurance will pay.” Umm excuse me what?! If that’s the case, why not call and confirm with the insurance company beforehand? When I asked, Angie said they “never do that until the patient is in the chair.” His appointment was at 5pm so blast that time the insurance company was closed, making it impossible to verify. That left us with two options: pay half now and half next week (fronting over $1k for no reason), or walk away. She wasn’t going to allow us to proceed otherwise. After 15 years of loyalty and not a single issue with billing, this was beyond frustrating. The appointment was a complete waste of time, for us as patients, for the staff, and most importantly for Dr. Johnson, who now has to deal with the fallout of his front desk blocking care over something that could have been easily handled with a simple phone call by someone who understands how insurance works. So I guess we have to wait and come back when Angie isn’t working or if Dr. Johnson wants to give me a call, I left my number with Angie and it’s also in my file.

Negative experience: Horrible experience. Very unprofessional as I'm dying in pain the dentist is trying to sell me a future deep cleaning before addressing my infected tooth. I initially called about a root canal and pricing. They said they'd have to see me first to provide pricing so I did, after my initial checkup they refer me to an endodontist because they don't do root canals, go figure! Why didn't they just say that initially instead of wasting my time looking in my mouth. After telling a few people and visiting a reputable dental office which they also told they hear many awful things about this dental office. This place is fine maybe if you need routine care. These dentists don't want anything but the simple work. What a waste of potential! I will yell everyone about this experience and refer away from Comfort Dental. Thanks for such a bad experience and taking my money and wasting my valuable time. I'm a business owner and my time is extremely valuable. Thanks for nothing Comfort Dental!

Positive experience: Very pleasant visit - area was very clean and neat. Wait time was reasonable and staff was pleasant and courteous. The only problem I encountered was for scheduling next appointment. You have to wait for a reminder from them to schedule - they won't let you schedule 6 months in advaance, only a 2 month advance window is allowed. I wanted to schedule an appt. with the hygienist for cleaning and you apparently need to schedule directly with her. I'm waiting to find out how that goes!!

Negative experience: I went to Comfort Dental because they accepted my insurance ,as well I was referred to them by my regular dentist. Although I sincerely appreciated the candor and directness, I personally felt to say the least very embarrassed. At that particular location the exam rooms are virtually very close together. The dentist could certainly use some empathy training or perhaps Comfort Dentistry can advise the dentist to consult patients such as me in a more private manner . I left feeling like I was a hopeless case. I will continue to seek other dentists to dicuss and advise my dental issues .
