Asheboro Dental

Negative experience: I called and left a message with the front desk two days ago with a very important medical question about an upcoming dental procedure. It’s now been 48 hours, and no one has bothered to return my call—not even a courtesy follow-up. When it comes to health care (especially dental surgery), communication should be a priority, not an afterthought. If this is how they handle urgent patient concerns, I’m honestly not sure how they handle anything else. I expect better from a professional office. Unfortunately, I’ll be looking elsewhere for my dental needs.

Would give them more than 5 stars if I could! I actually enjoy going to the office. Everone in the office to the ladies who help me feel like a family to me. I appreciate you all so much.

Positive experience: I have came to this office for over 20 years and they will cancel your appointment and you have to wait months, several months (8) before you can get another appointment. Once they decided to be off on a non-observed holiday and once because the hygienist had to take the day off. Both times it was months before I could get back in. Both times I asked to see someone else and that is not possible. Completely ridiculous. Won't happen to me again .

Fantastic experience: After finding this place a few years ago, I can tell you, I wouldn't go anywhere else. The people are amazing, especially April! She will sing like an angel while working with you. She is truly a God sent. The dentist is absolutely amazing and the pricing is very affordable. I have not met one person working there who isn't caring and great at what they do.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been coming to this office since around 2011, and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The entire staff is friendly, professional, and always makes you feel comfortable. The doctors (dentists) are excellent—very knowledgeable, skilled, and truly care about their patients. It’s rare to find a place that combines this level of expertise with such a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I was at the dentist office for my six month checkup. I do not walk up steps so a hygienist came outside to accompany me into the office but not climbing any steps. After my visit she walked me to my car and even carried my purse for me. Super customer service.

Fantastic experience: I was impressed with the professionalism and attentiveness of the staff. Kimberly did a great job and I’m very satisfied. I was disappointed they discontinued my “White for Life” program because I didn’t come during the COVID outbreak. My first appointment was canceled by their office and my rescheduled appointment had to be canceled because I had been in contact with a Covid positive person…both of which were beyond my control.

Fantastic experience: Excellent dental practice. Provider and all staff friendly, courteous and professional. Thorough exam and cleaning. Provides “Patient Report Card” form on condition of teeth and recommendations for care. Practice in network for HealthTeam Advantage Dominion Dental.

Fantastic experience: I get terrible anxiety about going to the dentist, but I had a great experience at Asheboro Dental! All of the dental assistants were fabulous and made me feel so comfortable throughout the appointment. I was very nervous about getting X-rays and they took the time to do extra steps that would make them easier for me. The hygienists truly went above and beyond! Dr. K was also great. She was very professional and thorough in her exam. I highly recommend Asheboro Dental if you are looking for dental care in the area.

Positive experience: I normally have a great experience at Asheboro Dental but today not so much, only because Maddie (hope I spelled it the way you do lol) was not there doing my cleaning. I want to say they had (Kaye?) doing that part and boy was she rough and the water pik she used felt like it was slicing my gums. A water pik has never been used on me before so I don’t know if this is just how this person chose to clean my teeth. Personally, the choice to use a water pik made me feel like she was trying to rush through the cleaning. I had to stop her 3 times because it hurt. Mayra polished and flossed my teeth and she’s always wonderful. No, this isn’t stopping me from returning but it has made me adamant about having Maddie and Mayra (if I got y’all’s name wrong, don’t kill me ladies lol) be the ones working on me, just not (Kaye?). Took away a star for (Kaye?) being too rough. I do have to mention that the new doctor was nice and gentle. Oh gosh, if her name is doctor K then the one who cleaned my teeth has a different name probably? Anyway, my next appointment is with Maddie

Fantastic experience: I absolutley love Asheboro Dental. Dr. Son is awesome at pain free extractions. My technician cleans and polishes very well and she's very nice. I like having the same one every time also. Would highly recommend.

Negative experience: My mom called to make an appointment for an adjustment on her lower dentures. They said they took her UNITED HEALTH BUT not Medicaid. So they made her an appointment. This morning, she was told that she had to pay out of pocket. She said she had $3,000 on UNITED HEALTH. TO TOP THE CAKE, they show her out the BACK DOOR. She is 74 years old. This place lied to her and treated like a piece of ****. Unprofessional

Positive experience: The dental staff at Asheboro Dental are phenomenal. They are great people who are kind and hard-working and do a great job. The office staff on the other hand are quite rude. The lady at the front desk will not even look at me when I come to check in if she’s on the phone which is very unwelcoming. We went to check out today and there were three office staff people that were having a conversation about a popped blood vessel in one of the staff members’ eye as opposed to doing what they needed to do to get us checked out in a timely manner. The office staff needs improvement.

They took time to address every issue so that I understood what needed to be done. They were kind, friendly and professional. They dentist I saw was fully professional in reading my x-ray, examining for any signs of cancer and also identifying any issues with my teeth that might need attention. Everyone I saw made me feel comfortable and at ease. Great job!

Fantastic experience: This was my first time at Asheboro dental. I stay away from dentist as much as possible. But my experience here was fantastic. Dr son and his staff are extremely friendly and work with you in any way that they can they explain everything that needs to be done and why and they don't try and get you to do extra things . Our family appreciates that Asheboro Dental always talks through any treatment option and the full cost of each option, including insurance, so that we are fully informed. Although it is a busy office, wait time is minimal and staff always take the time to make sure all questions and concerns are addressed. The hygienist and the doctor are also good about reviewing daily dental hygiene with their patients, ensuring we have the knowledge to maintain good dental health.
