Fantastic experience: I was having some very uncomfortable jaw pain and they were able to fit me in and get it work on to fix the tooth that was causing it. I'm very thankful for the professional people and appreciate them working in on such short notice.

Positive experience: I really like the dentist I saw today! Young guy, long ish hair. I’ve seen Dr Wong too (for all I know it’s who I saw today, I can’t remember tbh) Either way I like them, and every single time I call, they treat it as an emergency whether it’s something I can hold off on or not. As soon as I say I’m in pain, they try to squeeze me in ASAP. Somehow I never have an issue with that, and I’m thankful, because I have awful teeth (my fault plus genetics, we all have poor teeth.) Either way, I definitely like them there. I just wish Lalor would start accepting Delta Dental again :(

Their office was also clean and had some cute touches to it. A big plus for me is they were straight to the point, allowed time for questions, and laid out prices right away.

Fantastic experience: Dana is an awesome hygienist. Through the years she has taught me better ways to do my daily dental routine. There is very little scraping that she has to do to clean my teeth. I’m 67 years old and my dental health is very important to me. The whole culture at Laylor Family Dental is your dental health is important, no matter your age. They are honest also. They never suggest unnecessary procedures. You always come away with a plan of what needs to be done in the future. This time I needed a new retainer and they scanned my mouth so that anytime I need a new one I just call, they order it and I come in 2 weeks later and they make sure it fits as it should. I like that idea. They are expanding their services which is great because you won’t have to be referred out. They have a dental savings plan that is less expensive than what we were paying through my husband’s work. 3 cleanings a year certainly keep your teeth healthy and catches any problems early. A great dental practice!!

Negative experience: I received separate additional bills even after they confirmed that all bills were settled. Their checkout staff are rude and untrustworthy. I paid the full amount they listed—including all fees—five days before the surgery. However, they now claim I owe more and are asking for extra payment. It seems they only care about making money and no longer honor their promises.

Fantastic experience: I had an emergency tooth issue and the receptionist was very kind and got me right in to see a dentist at their Binghamton office the very next day. Upon arrival, check in was very smooth and they got me right back in the room. The hygienist was very sweet and showed concern and empathy about my tooth pain. The dentist explained all of the options very thoroughly and I was given different treatment options with a cost breakdown of each choice prior to making my decision. Overall, my experience was very good in spite of having to have my tooth extracted.

He was so attentive, kind, and caring with excellent bedside manner. He made sure to explain everything clearly before he did it.

Fantastic experience: Dr Xu + all staff--friendly and pleasant. Front desk greeted then a New Hygienist that just got her license in training to office process took me back to the room and took Xrays. This appointment was for a cleaning today and a different Hygienist (name) did cleaning and was very professional + friendly, Dr Xu checked a few concerns after x-rays. Decided to have a whitening treatment, molds made and coming back tomorrow for preparation if molds fit properly with whitening for home. To front for payments then Follow-up appointment made requiring me to come back for a few teeth to get fixed, crown replaced after cavity is removed from under crown from a year ago. All staff worked as a happy team to make me feel very comfortable. Thank you so much.

Fantastic experience: Needed to find a dentist to take care of replacing a filling in my front tooth which had started to fall out on the weekend. I called Lalor and they found a time to fit me in. Everyone in the office was so cordial and the Dental assistant who was very knowledgeable, friendly and explained everything before it happened and Dr. Nambiar who too was so friendly and did a great job on my tooth, worked so well together and were so polite to each other!! I am so glad my sister recommended them to me!!

Negative experience: I went to Lalor Family Dental this past May when I was a student at Binghamton University who didn't have dental insurance and paid for my own care. Instead of getting honest, good care, I felt taken advantage of, disrespected, and ultimately had to deal with a serious dental problem that could have been avoided. Despite their other good reviews, I strongly recommend you choose somewhere else to go. I went to Lalor Family Dental in early May because my tooth hurt, and initially they acted very nice to me. The dentist said it was a deep cavity, but after looking at my tooth, they said a simple filling would be enough. I trusted their judgment and said yes to the filling. I spent about $400 out of my own wallet, thinking that the problem had been fixed. But only 3 weeks later, I had a lot of discomfort again and went to my home dentist for a second opinion. I was advised that I needed a root canal and that the filling I got at Lalor was done improperly. My follow-up x-rays and my home dentist's expert review showed that the filling was not completely sealed or attached to the tooth. This meant that the cavity kept getting worse underneath. Of course, I contacted Lalor Family Dental to tell them what occurred and I had asked if they were willing to refund me, even partially for their negligence and incomplete treatment. That's when things changed. Ryan at the front desk got in touch with me and took care of the communication from there. He was originally very nice when i first met him but became quite disrespectful and seemed like he really didn't care. He didn't show any concern or offer any help; instead, he got defensive. He flat-out refused to give me my money back and said I was lying, stating something like, "How could they have done the procedure without your permission?". To be clear, I wasn't given a choice of treatments. I agreed to get a filling since I was assured it would fix the problem. If I had known the risk or been advised that a root canal was really needed, I would have chosen to have one. More importantly, the filling that was done was not put in the properly, no matter if I had chosen a filling or a root canal. I have x-ray proof of this. Ryan also said he would call my existing dentist to verify the details, but he never did. I hadn’t received any response from them in weeks, so I reached out to follow up again and he dismissed me right away. Nobody tried to comprehend, fix, or even politely recognize what I was going through. I felt like I was being talked down to, disrespected, and ignored. They’ll act all nice and caring to you until there’s an issue with money involved, then they’ll switch up on you just like that. It's quite frustrating to have trusted an incompetent dentist clinic, especially because I'm a college student trying to stay healthy without income nor insurance. What they did was complete malpractice. I had to spend even more for a root canal because the first treatment wasn't done correctly. I didn't get the right care or accountability. I'm posting this review to warn others. If you care about good communication, honesty, and quality care, I strongly suggest you reconsider going to Lalor Family Dental.

Fantastic experience: The cleaning went smoothly and effectively. My teeth have never felt so clean. However, due to a new client on Tuesdays and Thursdays, I will have to change the appointments I made from Thursdays to Fridays or Mondays.

Fantastic experience: I came in today after 2-1/2 weeks of my temporary bridge falling out. I was using dental cement from cvs to keep it in. However, it stopped working. Kareena was fantastic!! My temp bridge reminded me of wood teeth as they were not polished and cement was stuck to the front of them. She polished the temp bridge, cleaned it up, added material, and made sure I left smiling. Which I was!! She is an absolute asset to the organization and I’m so glad that she happened to have taken a shift today and was there! Thank you Kareena for an absolutely wonderful experience in the dental office!

Negative experience: One of the most incompetent offices, maybe right after Aspen Dental, that I have been to.

Negative experience: My daughter has been having a lot of tooth pain so we were referred here from Dinosaur Dental. When I called to give them all her info they said they accept Medicaid. She went in today and suddenly now they don't accept Medicaid and I'm stuck with a $300 bill I wasn't expecting because I was told they accept her insurance in office. Very frustrated, now I will have to pay out of pocket for a root canal since I can't get her in anywhere else on the short notice and it's a time sensitive issue that needs to be taken care of this week. Just disappointed in the system, told one thing and then show up to another.

Fantastic experience: As someone who feared going to the dentist for too long. This place made me feel as comfortable as I could be and completely fixed all dental issues I was having. Now I'm confident in my smile and it's all thanks to lalor Family Dental.

Fantastic experience: I was, and been again, a patient of this office for about 4 years or so. They stopped taking my insurance recently and I left to find another. It was quick that I came back for a root canal and crown recently. They were, & are, very accommodating to both my schedule and needs as a patient, both in my mouth, and at check out. I saw Dr. James and Kareena for my procedure recently, which were turned into a couple more visits than anticipated, by no fault of their own. Dr. James was both kind and thorough, paying special attention to his work and making sure both myself, and he, were happy with the outcome. I trust him completely with any dental work needed. He works with Kareena, who I feel has become a friend. She was both professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Very easy to talk to and trust, they make an ideal team. I hope I don't need to see them again, but will be thankful, if I can rely on the 2 of them in the future. They both went above and beyond in my world, however, it was easy to see that every patient in the office is treated with respect. The office in itself, has no complaints from me, except serving fresh cookies on the way out, when I can't actually eat due to dental work...so cruel. Noah on the front end also deserves a shout out. He accomodated my needs quickly and eased my worries when I presented an insurance/payment issue that was unique. Thanks to everyone at Binghamton Lalor, I just wish I had better insurance!!

Negative experience: Office manager needs some work. I get a call to be there at 11 saying I have no insurence. Of course I call them and I do. I go and show up to get agured and treated like garbage. The doctor and hygienist was great but the office manager and the insurence person needs some work. I left in total panic to drive to another office where they all stood and watched and didn't help. Talk about customer service.

Fantastic experience: Our family has been going to Lalor Dental for many years and have never once had a negative experience there. I trust them all with my families dental needs, from routine cleanings with their hygienists (Megan is wonderful) to fillings and to my recent dental implant experience with Dr. Joe Lee, at their implant center in Vestal. ( I was nervous at first, but I was soon feeling relaxed after meeting their friendly and knowledgeable staff.) Always greeted with smiling faces at both facilities I've visited. Appointments are quick, and I've never waited long to get in. I have referred several people to them and will continue to do so.

My most recent visit was to get a crown on a bad molar. However, while there I met Dr. Lee for the first time and he was nothing short of AMAZING. After discussing we determined that it would be best for me AND my wallet over time to get a bridge done to fill a gap from a long gone tooth. Negative experience: This place was terrible. Nobody listened to me. I got annoyed and then some guy showed up like security basically like I was going to cause a scene. Good grief. I just want to be listened to. It was humiliating and then the guy walked me to the door like I was going to do something. Unbelievable. The office in Horseheads, NY is much much better. I Have been there half-a-dozen times and I have never experienced anything like that there.

Fantastic experience: Haven’t been to the dentist in a long time and had a laundry list of issues that needed to be taken care of. Despite some setbacks, Dr. Hawi ensured that my teeth were ultimately taken care of and restored.

Will be returning with less worries in future appt. 5 YEARS LATER... Why would I switch dentists? This place is THE BEST! Its now (shout-out) Jessica-( thank you) cleaning my teeth. First cavity in years yesterday. 11-04-24. Had a new dentist, Dr Hawi. Looked at my small cavity. Asked if I wanted to go numb or see if I could withstand any possible pain with no injections assuring me he would stop and give me injection to numb if I let him know. There was no pain and I felt this was a great gesture by giving me this choice. NEVER had an option in my life in a dental chair until yesterday.

Positive experience: Lalor used to be better. Now they have gotten so big they feel more like an assembly line. Also, do not allow Dr. Lambert to work on your children if they have anxiety or any kind of special needs. He is mean, rude, and impatient. There are much better choices for an orthodontist in this area.

Fantastic experience: I'm 63 yrs. old and haven't had a tooth pulled in over 40 yrs., so I was just a little anxious about having a broken molar removed. Dr. Kevin Lin did an absolutely fantastic job. It took over an hour, and the tooth broke into multiple pieces, (8-10). When I got home, I took one dose of Tylenol and Advil, had dinner, and woke up the next morning with no pain. Fast forward 4 days later, everything is healing well. Thank you again.

Fantastic experience: Went in for fillings, nothing that I haven't experienced before. What I wasn't prepared for was the detail and care they took to leave my teeth looking like they didn't just receive a filling! My bit is not out of place, my mouth isn't sore the next day. They are out of network for me now, but I will still be using them going forward.

Fantastic experience: I hadn’t been to a dentist in five years because of a fear of the dentist and needles. I got a cleaning, x-rays, and evaluations this week and an evaluation for a wisdom teeth referral since all of mine are coming in. All of the staff from the receptionists to the hygienist to the doctor were great, polite, and understanding of my anxiety about the dentist and my teeth look like brand new teeth after the cleaning. They reassured me about my wisdom teeth growing in as well and actually can’t wait for my future appointments. As of right now everything is great… Thanks guys!

Fantastic experience: I took my 90 year old brother-in-law to see if they could give him some false teeth as he has only 10 teeth currently and can use none of them to actually eat anything anymore as they have all broken off - and he loves to eat. Dr. Paul, Lexi, and Sarah were so very nice and kind to both of us. They explained everything about what they can do for him and how much insurance will cover and won't cover; he is so excited to think that he will be able to have some teeth very soon to be able to eat his favorite foods, especially corn on the cob. I highly recommend this office for any of your dental work.

Negative experience: I can’t attest to their quality of work because when I called I never got an answer. I waited on hold for 8 minutes and “your queue position is 6” after waiting for 4 minutes hearing my position was 2. Hung up and called back later and waited 11 minutes just for the same thing. They never answer the phone, so they can’t accumulate new patients.
