Negative experience: Extremely disappointed with how this office handles scheduling. I specifically requested 3:00 PM appointments for both my husband and myself to work around our jobs. Despite that, they rescheduled my husband's appointment twice, and both times moved it to 11:00 AM—completely ignoring the time we had clearly requested. I even left work an hour early to make it to my own 3:00 PM appointment. When I arrived, no one mentioned anything unusual at check-in. It wasn't until I was already in the chair that I was told they would only be doing X-rays and I’d need to come back another day for the cleaning. That was never communicated to me in advance. When I questioned it, I was told, “We can’t guarantee a cleaning on your first visit.” That is completely unacceptable. I made it very clear when booking that this was for a cleaning. People have jobs and can’t keep taking time off for multiple visits that should’ve been handled in one. The poor communication, repeated rescheduling, and disregard for our time is incredibly frustrating. We’ve canceled all future appointments and will be finding a dentist who actually respects patients’ time and delivers the services they schedule.

Negative experience: This facility has completely incompetent schedulers. They will schedule you for any appointment except what you ask for. FIRE YOUR ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF. scheduling a cleaning should be to schedule a cleaning not three other irrelevant appointments. Don't bother to reply you will probably mess that up too.

Negative experience: Changed billing after the visit (I'm self paying) and their call service will call you every week for years to schedule you. A nice place and friendly people, but they are in the business of gouging you and your insurance provider

My family and I will be with Appletree for many years to come. I didn't get my hygienists name today but she was fantastic. All the hygienists are really good but the young lady I had today did such a great job and made me feel so comfortable. I hope she stays with Appletree.

Negative experience: As a new patient with insurance, I was extremely disappointed with my recent experience. During my initial visit, the practice recommended an x-ray that my insurance covers only once every five years. I informed them that I had this x-ray performed less than one year prior at another practice and offered to provide those records. Despite this, they insisted I pay out-of-pocket for a duplicate x-ray before proceeding with the diagnostic exam and cleaning. While the cost itself is a concern, my disappointment stems primarily from the principle of unnecessary procedures and the apparent disregard for my previous dental history.

My husband recently had a couple of small cavities filled and a chipped tooth repaired. His teeth haven’t felt this good in some time.

Negative experience: Office staff is incompetent, I clearly received a text message indicating date and time of appointment only to be called earlier, and told me I had to reschedule my appointment because I am now late because they have a different time. I missed a day at work, and took an antibiotic before this procedure that I’ll have to explain to my surgeon again why I need another prescription when I find another dentist. I’ll never get compensated for my time or expense due to their FU.

Fantastic experience: The office is very modern and clean. The dentist and hygienist that helped me with my veneer replacement were absolutely amazing. I never expected a temp veneer could look so perfect and feel so perfect!

Negative experience: Let me start off by saying the staff were all very nice from the front desk all the way to the Dentist. However, there were a couple things that just rubbed me the wrong way during my first visit. First, my appointment was for a cleaning of which I was there for almost 1.5 hours because they had to do X-rays and measure my teeth. I get that the initial visit would take longer but not that long. My appt was for 8:30 and at 9:15 they told me I could get my teeth cleaned at 10 of which I told them I can’t wait that long. Thankfully the dentist was nice enough to start cleaning them at 9:15 anyway. When taking X-rays, the hygienist was very aggressive with shoving them in my mouth even though I told her they were hurting me. I know those wings they put in your mouth are never comfortable but the ones they use are horrible, would not recommend. During the cleaning, Both the dentist and the hygienist flossed my teeth, once before the polish and once after and I would have to say they were both very forceful with their technique to the point where it hurt. I thought for sure my gums were going to bleed. Lastly, when adding fluoride to my teeth the hygienist seemed to have no care in the world about how sloppy she was. I’m pretty sure she got more fluoride on my lips than my teeth and trust me there was a lot on my teeth. I left there looking like I had white caked-on lipstick. Overall, I know these things are not a huge deal but they were enough to leave a bad taste in my mouth to where I wouldn’t go back.

Negative experience: I used to love this place but this past year they have changed a lot, I got a call asking if I wanted to change my appointment to an earlier date and said yes while on the phone with them, I call back later the same day just to verify the time and they have no record of my appointment being changed and the lady on the phone just argues with me and give me attitude about my appointment never being changed. My husband went in for dental work and had some cavities filled and right after having them filled ends up needing two root canals done and then somehow maxed out his dental insurance for the year after half of one being done. We both had our wisdom teeth done last year and I had a root canal done and it didn’t max out our dental. The experience we had with them last year versus this year has been completely different. Unfortunately I think we are going to have to find a new dental office which is a shame because I love the dental hygienist I see but apple tree dental is just not giving me good vibes this year. It feels like things have changed a lot in the office management part in the past year and not in a good way.

Fantastic experience: The ONLY place I will trust with my teeth! As a person who has long since been "afraid" of the dentist, it feels huge to waltz through Appletree's doors and feel excited for a cleaning. That's all thanks to the staff and the atmosphere they provide.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Derby is great! She creates a customized treatment plan for each patient and is willing to adjust in the process and get creative as needed. I’ve done 2 crowns, Invisalign, and whitening with her, all at the same time, so lots of moving parts. No issues at all. She talks you through the details of the treatment, which was important to me because I like to understand/learn how things work. Stephanie is awesome too, super attentive, friendly and approachable.

Fantastic experience: I have had an inordinate amount of dental problems over the past year and a half. I found Dr. Raleigh and I am super confident in her work, as well as oral surgeon, Dr. Wong, who works closely with the Apple Tree North office. I don’t think I’ll ever leave the practice .. !!

Positive experience: Service was good but the quote and actual bill were miles apart. We were not given the option of what color filling we wanted and then charged extra because insurance did not cover the fillings done. Super disappointed in the response we got when we asked about the charges. UPDATE: After a discussion with our dentist she honored our quote and was super supportive of our concerns. This was appreciated and we are happy with the service and communication.

Negative experience: It’s very unfortunate that this dental practice has such a poor billing team. I think the billing is outsourced, but billing practices are also a reflection of the office. I have been unable to get billing issues resolved for 3 months. Keep being told the office manager will contact me and no one will return my call or emails asking for itemized statements. I wonder if the dentists at Appletree are even aware of the issues their patients experience.

Negative experience: Horrible customer service and decorum. I had a viral infection which caused me to reschedule my appointment twice, which I paid a deposit for. I called ahead of the appointment to let them know I had a viral infection. Once I was better I called to make an appointment, I was informed I could no longer be seen due to missed appointments, as situation I explained couldn't be the case as I called ahead to reschedule. In addition, they wouldn't address the deposit made until I brought this up and asked me to wait a week for a call to address the deposit.

Positive experience: First time here. Very pleasant and very professional. Took the time to explain what was going on and did an exam of my teeth more so then any or dentist office has in the past.

Negative experience: Appletree Dental HORRIBLE customer treatment!!! Apparently, my call (11:00AM) went to their call service. The call service never identified as such. They signed me up for a root canal on a given day and time. Took off a day of work, traveled over an hour one way. No record of any appointment. Worse, they don’t even do root canals!!!! Wasted my day and my gas. And I’m still in pain.NEVER AGAIN!

Chastised me for bring upset when they said they had to pull the tooth. Called me names . Unbelievable and horribly unprofessional . Check yelp reviews ! From the moment I walked in, she made me feel comfortable and well-informed throughout the entire cleaning process. Erica's kindness and clear communication about each step of the procedure were truly appreciated. What stood out to me was the soothing atmosphere she created by humming/singing along to the 80's music playing gently in the background throughout the office. It added a calming touch to the overall experience. I highly recommend Appletree Dental for their exceptional service, and if you have the chance, ask for Erica as your hygienist. Negative experience: I originally went to Appletree simply for my semiannual cleaning. The hygienists I saw did a good job; the dentists, different each time, did the usual quick exam. At my last cleaning, the dentist I saw told me that two large fillings in adjacent molars were failing and that I needed to have crowns on both. I made an appointment for a month later. At the appointment, digital "topographic" scans were made of both teeth. Although the tech doing the scans had difficulty getting good scans, I was assured that the process was much more accurate than the traditional impressions used for fitting for the crowns and recreating the surface of each tooth. After three hours of grining, both teeth were ready for the temporary crown fabricated based on the previously made digital scan. During the following week the two teeth and my jaw became increasingly painful. I returned to the dentist and was told one or both of the teeth were likely infected and I'd probably need a root canal. I made an appointment to see an endodontist not associated with Appletree. During his examination, he found that the temporary crown was not only too high, causing uneven striking when I chewed, it was also too large so that it put significant pressure on the jaw joint behind the crown. He adjust both the bite and length of the crown. Within a couple of days the pain was gone. Two weeks later, I went into Appletree to have the two permanent crowns placed. The back crown went on relatively easily. However, the second crown was very tight against the next tooth. The dentist had to try multiple time to get it into place, ultimately having to exert significant force to press it into place. Both crowns were so high that the dentist ended up grinding off most of the surface details, making the crowns essentially flat, to eliminate uneven striking in my bite. Three months have passed since the crowns were placed. The pressure the front-most crown exerts on the teeth in front of it has caused those teeth to move, making them uneven and impacting my bite. Both crowned teeth are sensitive to temperature and the tooth above the crowns is cracked. I will find another dentist to deal with these problems.

Negative experience: Had an altercation with charice there. She was very rude to me on the phone. Yelling and hanging up the phone when I was simply asking her questions about being seen. I’d highly recommend to go to a different dentist if you want to feel welcome & comfortable. Charice is very unprofessional and a unhappy rude person.

Negative experience: I have been a patient of Appletree for many years. In the past, they have been easy to work with and have offered great, professional service. They have since grown the business quite a bit, which has led to them being less attentive, responsive and overall much harder to work with. They advertise offering emergency appointments, but when I had a serious issue with some work that they had performed, they were unable to get me in until 4 days out. That is not what I would consider emergency availability. When a patient is in a situation that is causing extreme pain in a tooth that they had worked on, I would expect that they would do what it takes to make it right ASAP. They clearly do not run the business that way anymore. I ended up having to go to another dentist that could see me right away. They had to perform an extensive procedure to fix the issue caused by the previous work done at Appletree. Because this work was being redone on a tooth that had already been "fixed" recently, the insurance company would not pay the claim. I feel that if Appletree would have made the effort to get me in for what they advertise as an "emergency appointment", they should have been able to fix the issue without further out-of-pocket cost to myself. This was actually the second time that work had to be redone on procedures done at Appletree. The first time, they took care of it immediately, at not cost to me. That was when they were a much smaller company who seemed to put patients first. I reached out via email to them to discuss the above 3 times. I provided all of the necessary details. I never received an sort of response on any of the 3 attempts. I ended up calling them and was told that they were unable to help me. I am no longer a patient at Appletree Dental due to them just not offering the personalized service that they were used to be able to provide. Before becoming a patient of theirs, I would recommend how they define their Emergency Appointment availability, warranty, and any other services that you might feel are important for a provider that you depend on to take care of you in an extremely painful situation.
