Fantastic experience: This was my first trip back to the dentist after not having dental insurance for a while. I was nervous going into a new place and picked them because they could get me in the same day, but was very pleasantly surprised by how thoughtful, kind, and very thorough they were. They did everything they could to make sure that they got me taken care of that day and to make sure everything we did was through my insurance and if not, that we had a discussion over the cost prior. I will absolutely be returning and cannot recommend this location enough.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful office, Dr. Alex and his staff were so nice and welcoming. Dr. took his time and explained what was going on with my teeth and showed me pictures of my teeth. I will definitely be back! There reception area had a refrigerator stocked with bottled water for the patients, which was the first time I’ve experienced that! It’s those touches that make the office a place you don’t mind going to! I took a pic to show my friends the refrigerator!

They are a little booked up, but well worth the wait!

Negative experience: ZERO Stars if I could. Place is ridiculous. They tried to say our daughter had 5 cavities!!! My wife had a very un-easy feeling about them and decided to take our daughter back to our previous dentist (we only changed due to insurance change) and she only has 1 cavity, which was due to one she previously had taken care of that was just broken. Unbelievable difference. Totally almost got taken advantage of.

Fantastic experience: I've had a couple appointments here (both emergency and cleaning) and taken my 2 & 6 year old here. I loved how they talked my kids through it and put them at ease. Everyone from front desk to dental hygienist to Doctor are very welcoming and nice. They answer all my questions without an ounce of annoyance and I ask a lot of questions. They make a point to explain what they are doing. I definitely would recommend them. The only bad thing is the time it takes to get an appointment but from what I've seen that's every dentist in Evansville.

Fantastic experience: I have had great experiences with this group! In particular, the dental hygienist- Marissa - is fantastic! I have very sensitive teeth. This does not make her job easy! She is always very patient and empathetic dealing with the sensitivity, while still getting the job done. I appreciate that the group offers a lot of additional preventative care measures(like oral cancer screening) and will also offer conservative measures before moving to procedures, like fillings.

Fantastic experience: Evansville Family Dentistry is not your normal Dentistry . You walk in and immediately feel comfortable from the ladies at the front desk. The dentist made me feel like I could actually afford the smile I dreamed of ! Their “in house” financing made my dreams possible ! I look forward to the dentist now and I can’t wait to get my children patients there as well . Definitely felt like I mattered , very personable .

Positive experience: Was under the assumption I would have my teeth cleaned on my 1st visit as it has been that way my entire life. Did not happen and they knew I had not been to a dentist in 2 yrs. Was extremely unhappy about that. The hygiene tech and front office ladies were very nice! Not sure i will be returning.

Fantastic experience: As a first time patient here, I was absolutely blown away! I’m terrified of the dentist out of past traumas and the kindness they all had shown me was above and beyond. Everyone is in high spirits and completely understanding. They explain everything thoroughly from start to finish. This was the first time I came out of a dentistry not crying or overwhelmed with anxiety because of the experience I had just had.

Negative experience: They are booking new patients out until December now and I had to wait two months for a less than 30 minute appointment. I think they need to stop accepting new patients and take care of the ones they already have. They didn’t believe what I was telling them was wrong and wanted to charge me almost $500 for an easy repair. I might as well buy new for that cost. Not the greatest experience I have had.

Fantastic experience: We love Dr. Lowery and his whole staff, especially Genna the hygenist!!!! My boys (9 years old and 5 years old) have been going there since they were 2 and the staff has always been awesome with them. My 5 year old has had to have several cavities filled and have had absolutely zero issue with the procedures. They aren’t scared to go to the dentist like a lot of kids are, and actually look forward to it! I recommend this office to anyone who is looking for a new dentist.
