Fantastic experience: The doctors and staff are always super friendly and gentle to the touch. Dr. Tiner gave me a new smile and now I feel 50 years younger. And THAT'S something to smile about! BRING ON THE CRUNCHY BEEF TACOS!!!

Fantastic experience: I had an amazing cleaning with Layla, she was kind, informative and fast!

Negative experience: Got my wisdom teeth removed over a year ago. I had to pay in full before the surgery, no problem. I paid the morning before my procedure. Since that date I have been receiving emails every so often telling me a balance due. I call, get it cleared up, & then months go by and I get another email saying the same thing. Clearly whoever is in charge of their books doesn’t keep a good record of payments & isn’t aware of their policy of paying in full before the surgery can even happen. (Edit) They’re still sending me emails as of 10/08/2025. Such an unprofessional, unorganized, greedy establishment. The surgery went good, but beware that you may receive countless texts & emails after paying trying to say you still have a balance due. To reiterate, they make you pay in full before any surgery, so them reaching out after for the exact balance you already had to pay makes no sense.

Negative experience: This dentist office lied about being in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield 3 different times and now I'm being charged $800 for a cleaning and an exam. I found them using my insurance's tool for in network providers, but apparently that tool isn't accurate. When I got there, I was assured by both the person at the front desk and a financial services person that my insurance was in-network. Shortly after leaving, they started sending me huge bills and told me my insurance "should be in-network" but there's some sort of glitch and I just had to pay the bill and the insurance would write me a check. The check wound up being for only $150, because this dentist is not in-network for my insurance. I contacted my insurance company about this and they said that this dentist has never been in-network and could not possibly believe they were. The dentist and hygienist and all other staff were great and did a great job. It's unfortunate that on the business side of things they seem to be liars and operating in a predatory manner and I can't recommend them to anyone based on that alone.

Fantastic experience: Dr. Kharrat was wonderful. She took the time to hear my history, asked lots of questions and I felt like she really cared about my overall history. Her assistant Ysabell was also very helpful in answering my questions.

Negative experience: They couldn't be bothered to look up my insurance information, saying that I would be reimbursed by my insurance directly instead of taking the time to file the claim, claiming they were out of network. I left and called my insurance provider to clarify if they were in network, which they were. When I tried to call the dentist office back, I realized all their calls are outsourced and I would receive a response to my question in 1 to 2 days. No thanks. Customer service is key and this office failed miserably. My family will look elsewhere.

Fantastic experience: It was okay, nothing exceptional . Could barely understand the technician. My appointment was for 19 am and I did not get in until 40 minutes later . If the appointment is for a certain time, then it should be kept within 15 minutes of that time.

Fantastic experience: They are always quick and do a thorough cleaning and check on teeth. They always give me all my options and don't try to pressure me into doing one specific thing. The doctor was sure to ask of i was OK and continually checked with me.

Negative experience: Worst experience at abbyville yet, I was scheduled for periodontal cleaning at 9am, they came and got me around 9:15 the girl didn’t speak very clearly and must have been new as she was soaking my face with the water pic, had it running down my neck, I stopped her to wipe my face and neck three times , I even asked if I was her first patient, not sure of response but I think she said second time in chair, the tech next to here heard me ask that and said something about it, my saliva extraction sucks was all over stuck to the inside of my cheek, there is more to this story but short of it all I was finished with my cleaning by 9:43am I have never had an cleaning to be so quick. Needless to say I’m not happy and will be looking for a new denyoffice.

Got my bad tooth pulled without pain, the shot and nitrous did the job of keeping me pain free… Great people, kept me calm, pulled my tooth quickly & without pain….. Got my medicine ordered to my pharmacy and got me scheduled for a crown on the other side of my lower mouth. Great Dentist & Staff…..took awesome care of me!! Definitely recommend!

Negative experience: Trying to make an appointment at this location is like chasing leprechauns—nearly impossible. You’re routed through an answering service that passes along messages, but the front desk rarely, if ever, returns calls. If you're commuting to this office, don’t expect any communication beforehand. You might be turned away upon arrival if they’ve decided your insurance underpaid, without any prior notice of a balance. The front desk staff is consistently unhelpful and rude, often responding with attitude when asked simple questions. There’s a noticeable lack of empathy or concern for patients. It’s unfortunate because the dentists themselves aren’t bad, but navigating the labyrinth of poor service just to see them is exhausting. Proceed with caution.

Negative experience: EDIT: 6/625, REPLY TO OWNER'S RESPONSE. No, thank you. Your staff is the problem & I will NEVER recommend or use your establishent, again. The business practices used are less than above-board. $200 for them 2 confirm the issue...which was provided to the receptionist when I called to make the appointment. Not to mention, I found out they didn't accept insurance...again- info given to the receptionist. Then, they want to charge 4x the industry standard. The office/billing staff need to learn that you shouldn't roll your eyes at patients. Oh, I almost forgot they do offer a 20% discount "program" that you have to pay $299 to enroll. SMH.

Negative experience: My daughter had a Saturday appointment 6 months ago but they kept calling and rescheduling her. Her 3rd reschedule was today(6.7.25) at 1, and when she showed up for her appointment the doors were locked and no one was there. Very unprofessional of them!

Positive experience: We waited an hour for a cleaning, and there was a strong chemical smell inside. Staff was friendly and professional!

Fantastic experience: Very polite staff and they made me feel welcome. . Their financial specialist made sure to check my insurance & explain what my out of pocket would be. Dr Tiner was thorough and concerned about resolving my dental issues.

Positive experience: Staff seemed friendly and professional. However, unless I turned to see who was speaking I would not know who anyone was. I would encourage (to be more friendly and more professional!) that each professional employee come around to the FRONT of the patient so as to have eye contact at least initially.

I love their team and how they are always willing to help me decide what’s best for my dental health! Especially thankful for Dr. Lewis, giving me the confidence in my smile, can’t thank him enough! Lisa for always going above and beyond for her team and directing me in the right direction when it comes to dental decisions!

Negative experience: This place is soo different than it used to be. It was once a nice family dentistry. Not anymore. I made an appointment for 10am. The first red-flag should've been the 2 customers already at the counter complaining about their bills. After one of the customers was called back and I was in the lobby alone, I overheard the girls at the front desk talking crap about the customer. It took a while for the doctor to examine me after my x-rays, but fine. Then, it took forever for the hygienist to show up. I fell asleep, waiting. In the middle of my cleaning, she asked if I had insurance. When I informed her I was a self-pay, she abruptly stopped the cleaning and told me they first needed to bring my dental plan in and go over it with me. It took a while for someone to show up with the plan. After looking over all of the excess stuff I don't need, I was informed that the hygienist was now busy and they would need me to come back for my cleaning. I understand wanting to make certain you receive your money, but there were plenty of better ways to handle this. This place has just become an assembly line. I used to think it was good as they grew because you rarely had to wait weeks to be seen due to the many locations. But, today, they simply want your money, then they want to get you out of their chair as quickly as possible. I will not be back.

Positive experience: I do not have dental insurance The cash prices arrre outrageous but I had to do it. My bridge)3 teeth) came unglued. To have them basically glued in , X-rays required, it cost me $327. While I was able to afford it, my mind went to those that can’t. That is a bitter pill to swallow! The staff $ Dr. we’re great! 5 stars for them. The overall 4 star rating was due to cost. It is probably similar elsewhere.on my next two trips I signed up for a discount on all dental with CIGNA. Savings Plan & the discounts were quite good on the procedures. I have found the staff & dentists deserve a 5 Star review! Excellent in all aspects. Dr. Sun is very kind and gentle & very good at everything.

Positive experience: I always go here for my dental work ....Recently I got 2 of my teeth pulled out at once ...I made sure I was completely numb before the dr pulled them he did seem moody at 1st because I want to make sure I was numb completely....But i didn't really care it was me going thou it and not him ....after everything ....I had to wait about 3 to 4 hours for my pain meds .....That took long time at the pharmacy usual it doesn't take that long .....I rate it this time 3 stars due to him begin kinda rude and the pain medication .... other than that it went okay !!!

Positive experience: The staff were somewhat friendly. I’ll chalk it up to not everyone is super happy or energized in the mornings. However, I was charged $55 before my cleaning, and come to find out, they charged me for fluoride without asking first if I wanted it, as it costs more. The dental hygienist was very nice and apologized for the desk staff doing that, but that was kind of sneaky, in my opinion. Otherwise everything else was ok.

Negative experience: The receptionist tried charging me twice Dr Son is awesome but they need help training the receptionist she was rude I did paperwork the day before I had appointment following day for a procedure I didn't know I had to do paperwork again the same paperwork from prior day she said Hello you need to fill this paperwork out again I said ok well my insurance pays for it I had to pay I asked why she said well that's what it says when I was finished with first paperwork the other lady said I don't know why she has you pay we will just credit you for you procedure well procedure time and of course she still tried charging me I made sure the lady from day before put it in notes so had to wait for her to get authorization so credit me the one receptionist needs help with customer service and payment

Explained everything to our daughter on what she was doing. Our daughter loves to come to the dentist and hygiene side. Top notch in my books!! ☺️❤️

But, I was not given accurate information about my procedure: thought I was having my teeth cleaned but all that was done was a comprehensive exam and I have to return next week to start the cleaning process which takes 2 visits. Fantastic experience: I went in for an emergency appointment for my chipped tooth, the doctor informed me a simple procedure for a clean and filled which took less than an hour, very impressed with the work and no pain during the process, highly recommend this place, you will not be disappointed

Fantastic experience: We went to get a check up for my 92yr old mother before she lost her Dental benefits that she had with her Medicare Advantage Plan. Dr. Lena Kharrat was great! She has a great bedside manner. We had to go back a couple days later to get the root extracted that wasn't done when she got her full set of dentures in Reno, NV. Since this had already cause her some pain and the dentist in Reno, NV just shaved it down, Dr. K and I thought it would be best to get the root taken out before it started bothering Mom again. It cost minimal to get it out without much discomfort. The dentist that remove it and all their stsff are pleasant & efficient. With Original Medicare Mom doesn't have Dental benefits but we will continue to go to Dr. Kharrat when we need a dentist. Busy office but they seem to get people in and out in a timely manner.

Fantastic experience: The doctors and dental assistants in the back at the south office are great. No issues with their abilities or personalities. The office staff up front leave a lot to be desired. Their attitude and appearance are not fitting for a professional office. Some look like they had a fishing tackle box dumped on their head and it stuck. Going to go to the north location.

Fantastic experience: I am very happy with my experience today. My tech was Isabel and she was so amazing! This appointment was my 4th opinion in the last few months and she did amazing with her bedside manners, making sure I understood my treatment plan and making sure I was okay. I felt overwhelmed with anxiety and she picked up on how I was feeling, saw me shedding silent tears and made me feel so comfortable, she calmed me down, explained a reasonable plan and helped me find a solution to my treatment plan. She re-assured me throughout the explanation and it made a WORLD of difference to my feelings of anxiety. I feel better and look forward to my new smile in the near future. Thank you Isabel, you don't know what a difference you made in giving me hope to a new smile!

Fantastic experience: I'd been struggling with a severe toothache for a little over a year now. It'd gotten to the point where it was unbearable, so I decided to check out Abbeville on 79th, and I'm very glad I did. Turns out I needed a root canal and crown done. I had X-RAYS done at 11:30 & was able to be seen for the procedure at 1:30. It was a great experience from beginning to end, from those behind the desk who were helpful in scheduling my appointment and in handling my finances, to Stephanie who did my X-rays and Camry, my dental assistant, to Dr. Darin Tiner, who then performed my treatment. There was an exceptional level of professionalism, kindness, and care displayed by everyone. It is impossible for me to express how pleased I am with the outcome.

Fantastic experience: Very friendly, explained procedures before completing them. Were very good about giving prices and options before doing any work. Listen to my complaints questions and answered them very thoroughly. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.

Negative experience: Had an appointment for 2 pm on June 18 that was made 6 months in advance and an appointment card from the dentists’ office confirming those details. About a week before the appoitnent, I got a text confirming the appointment for 3 pm on that same date. When I contacted the office about the discrepancy, the person I talked to seemed to imply that the mix up was somehow my fault and told me the 2 pm time was unavailable. Customer service is lacking to say the least. At a minimum , I should be compensated for my time and inconvenience with 1 free cleaning and exam like that will ever happen.

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff. Wait time for appointment was minimal. Isabel (dental assistant) was great. She took care of my X-rays and was professional and courteous. Dr. Lewis assessed my issues with my teeth and we discussed plan of action. Scheduler of treatment plan met with me and explained what was needed to be done, the cost and answered my questions. I had a very good expeience at this location.

Negative experience: Worst experience ever! Waited 50 minutes and I was never seen. The girls were too busy gossiping and talking, then I overhear them say they don’t take tricare. I go up to the front any tell them that’s the first thing I asked when I called and my husband goes there. They proceeded to say they couldn’t verify my insurance, but never called me up front to tell me any of that. They also did that to another patient that had been waiting.

Negative experience: Run!! They gave me a procedure I rejected and never filed my insurance properly, leaving an enormous bill. When I filled out the paperwork and estimates of service were given, my cleanings were all covered. Abbeyville would never allow me to talk directly to their billing department.

Fantastic experience: i had an appointment yesterday and everyone was so sweet, they were patient with me and explained everything and helped me get out of my pain i was in. the lady in the front named brittany was very sweet and helpful as well, it was my first time coming here 10/10

Fantastic experience: In and out, very quick. Everyone was very friendly, I appreciated the receptionist that was working morning of Nov 22, didn’t catch her name, but she had me smiling with some friendly jokes as she explained paperwork. I’m diagnosed with anxiety and she helped ease my worries before undergoing my wisdom teeth extraction.
