Fantastic experience: Dr Ellis and the staff are the best! My kids actually love going because everyone is always so nice and they make teeth cleaning fun!

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend! Professional and friendly knowledgeable staff at all levels. Great front desk, skilled hygienists, and knowledgeable personable doctors. They do amazing work with all types and ages of children—my neurotypical girls and my autistic twin boys are treated with appropriate care and support. I’m only sad that my teenage daughter has now turned 19 and has to find a new dentist. Also, great work with orthodontics. Edited to update: It’s not easy giving fillings to an autistic child with sensory issues, but Dr Joyce and Jess handled everything perfectly. Highly recommend.

Negative experience: Wait time is ridiculous most appts and they are not flexible with scheduling appts. Have to take too many days off for a 20 min appt due to only scheduling toddlers at certain times

Fantastic experience: I can’t speak highly enough of the hygienist. She was so great with my 3 year old. She showed and let him feel all her instruments before using them on him and really involved him in the process. The entire staff is top notch. Especially in todays health care environment I find it hard to have a truly positive experience. This office does things right! We left there feeling so excited for our next visit! Very accommodating for parents with young kids!

Fantastic experience: I have been taking my children to Pediatric Dentistry for about 4 years. They are great with the kids and make them feel at total ease. The balloon and toy at the end is an added plus that my son always looks forward to.

Fantastic experience: Took my toddler tornado, aka Silvio, for his very first dentist appointment—and let’s just say he made sure everyone knew it was his debut. From the moment we walked in, the staff at Pediatric Dentistry LTD were absolute pros. They were calm, kind, and reassuring—even during the exam and cleaning, which Silvio strongly disagreed with. They also helped us track down our missing insurance coverage like champs. Despite the toddler theatrics, it was a great first experience. He left with clean teeth, a balloon, and a smile (eventually). We left with peace of mind. Can’t wait to come back… hopefully next time with fewer tears and more teeth-cleaning!

Fantastic experience: This was my daughter’s 2nd time at the office and she had an almost 4. We LOVE it! She loves to play in the waiting area before her appointment as it has a fun play space for kids. The staff is amazing, hygienists are incredible and the doctors are all very friendly and prompt. My sister also brings her 2 children. I would recommend 100% ! Best pediatric dentist in our area.

Negative experience: I recently went there alongside my sister and my nephew.. I was so excited for his first visit but unfortunately it did not go as planned. Dr Fotini is a complete nightmare. She yelled at my nephew for being scared for his first visit… then yelled at my sister (nephews mom) because she asked dr fotini to not yell at him. I thought it would stop there but it didn’t.. She treats her assistants very badly. Yelling at them, making them do all of her work, and telling us that it’s their fault she’s running behind. She also talked to the front desk girls like they’re trash. I was being checked out next to another set of patients and she yelled at the poor front desk girl to figure out her schedule and just get them in and that she didn’t care… Your front desk should NEVER be treated that way when they are the ones keeping the show going. The poor girl looked defeated and tried to keep a smile but you could tell she had enough. I DO NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE TO BE SEEN BY DR FOTINI. The dental board should be ashamed for making her president. I will be filing a complaint and going to a different office.

Fantastic experience: PDL handled my 7yo son's surprise tooth extraction. While HE never wants to go back, I can't thank Dr. Ellis enough for their quick, kind service. They handled an upset little boy with so much grace and kindness.

Fantastic experience: Brought my 2 year old for her first visit and they were all amazing. So many prizes and gifts (they spoiled my girl) after the visit -- and the playground area in the waiting room is genius. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: I recently visited this pediatric dentist office with my two boys, and it was a wonderful experience. Kim was very talkative and welcoming, which immediately put us at ease. The dentist was also great, and my son, who was initially scared, felt comfortable thanks to their kindness.

Regina, our dental hygienist was so sweet and engaging with our daughter and made every step of the process easy and fun for her. We are so thankful this practice was recommended to us!

Negative experience: Another horrible experience for my daughter with Dr Fontini. From scheduling, to wait time, to attitude - we have had enough. I am literally calling around tomorrow to find a new orthodontist and then will start the process to get her records switched over. We put up with it for years out of convenience, but today was the last straw- whenever you have to wait 2 hours to get nothing done and be told to come back- it's time to move on. I would not recommend the practice to anyone- just find another licensed ortho and give them a try instead.

Fantastic experience: Our 13 month old had her first dentist appointment today with Dr. Elice. The office was so warm and inviting. All the staff had a smile on their faces and made us feel comfortable. Top notch care.

Fantastic experience: My 4 year old got hurt at daycare and one of his two front teeth moved. I called PDL and they gave me a same appointment and called him in as soon as we arrived to the office. The doctor and assistant were very helpful and kind and made him feel comfortable. I appreciated how efficient and professional everyone was. The office is very kid friendly and they offered my son a ballon at the end of his appointment, which he loved and still talks about.

Positive experience: Dental hygienists are great with the kids. Only gave 3 stars because our appointments never seem to be on time. Having a toddler wait isn’t an easy task! Also, they don’t offer the best time slots for toddlers- they’re usually only available during lunch/nap times which is annoying

Fantastic experience: Dr. Dionisopoulos Is AMAZING! My daughter was very anxious/scared for her filling but the doctor and assistant were so engaging and comforting to her. They talked her through each step they were doing using imaginative and pretend language to make things like the drill less scary and intimidating. AND THEY WERE SO QUICK. Awesome!! :)

Fantastic experience: We’ve been going to this practice for 18 years and plan to stay until my last kid is “ booted” out . I only have praises for everyone from staff to the dentists . For my kids needing braces - They provide thorough explanation of the orthodontic procedures that are needed to be done as well as room to accommodate questions . The financial aspect of it is well laid out from the deductibles to the staggered payments for a year as ( of course - not moneyed to pay it all at once ) . They accommodate as much as they can esp after school appointments . I also appreciate the reminders prior to the dental schedules . Can’t ask for more from this practice.

Fantastic experience: Dr Elice was spot on in his estimation of when my daughter’s last few teeth would fall out - he said by February and it all happened in February! He has been very helpful in helping us decide when to look into orthodontics. And the hygienists are super nice and quick. Thank you!

Overall they made a very stressful, scary experience comfortable and easy. We never once felt judged, or talked down to by the Dentist which we have experienced with other practices. Negative experience: I called to ask if they were accepting new patients. I spoke to a lady over the phone today 11/26/2024. She said they are accepting new patients but the next availability won’t be till June 2025. I said ok I’ll schedule an appointment. Her response was “ Why won’t you go look somewhere else, to see if you can find something sooner. Because you’re going to be waste OUR TIME, and YOUR TIME.” And Laughed and said “Oh I should have not said that. That was so rude.” And proceeds to laugh again. And my response was “WOW” . She said ok but let me get your information . I said sounds like you don’t want to accept any patients. Her response was “Yeahhh we are a very busy office”. Sounds like you need some re-training with talking to your patients. I’m currently working in the dental fiels 16+ years . And I would never to think to treat patients this way. She was so unprofessional. This is so embarrassing of your staff to treat any new patients like this. Might have been the best thing not to come to this unprofessional office. Any one booking , PLEASE BEWARE. All these google reviews are just fake. Nothing warm about this office. If anything condescending! RUN!

Fantastic experience: I love Dr. Fotini. She knows how to ease my son who has ADHD and can be very nervous about office visits. I love the staff who take their time with each kid and puts comfort and joy at the top of the list. The work is amazing. My son has chipped his tooth twice and they have mended it to perfection.

Fantastic experience: Me and my entire family has gone there since day one, and I’ve never heard of a child being scared of the dentist having Dr. Lasser! Every single one of the staff are extremely sweet and patient, and the Dr. Lasser is such a character! There’s an entire play space inside that I could spend hours in when I was a kid, with even a fish tank, and the environment is EXTREMELY clean and well kept! I even plan on bringing my own children there

Fantastic experience: We love it there. Clean, friendly and polite Drs and staff. My daughter loves it there. She is always excited to go. Especially at the end when she gets to get a toy from the treasure box.

Negative experience: RUN! AVOID at ALL cost. Someone worked here told me this place is a total mess. Wish I had known before my little one’s tooth was extracted. Negligent care here lead to the extraction of his permanent tooth n lifetime asymmetry of facial structure. A permanent tooth is as precious as an eyeball!! But they'll shrug n tell you that an orthodontist will fix it, which will cost you thousands of $$$ extra. Not to mention the pain n hassle the child AND the parents have to go through for a lengthy ortho treatment. I suspect they pay for fake glowing google reviews because the complaints I heard in the waiting room far exceeded the praises. The front desk was rude n impatient, the dentist we had was lethargic n just didn’t care, the hygienists were nice but unfortunately they don't call the shots. The offices at both locations are dated and crammed. There's a lack of communication between the dental staff and the administrative staff. They wouldn't bother explaining to you what the next steps are unless you ask. But if you do ask, you'll see how quickly they lose their pretended patience and the fake smiles. Things might be warm & fussy when your child is little, but once the baby teeth start to fall and permanent teeth start coming in, be VERY VERY vigilant, because how these slackers treat those gaps will impact your child's dental health n facial structure permanently. This practice disgusts me. We are done here.

Fantastic experience: My children have been coming here since their first teeth came in and I can’t say enough amazing things about this practice. My children truly enjoy coming here and I never have to worry. All staff are welcoming, kind, caring, and professional. They are truly passionate about what they do. We wouldn’t bring our children anywhere else!

Negative experience: I called this place on August 1st, 2024 and kindly asked if they are taking new patients, the front desk receptionist replied “it depends on what insurance I have”. I told her my child is on Rite Smiles and she did not let me finish my statement and question to direct me to any places near by since I just moved, she immediately hung up in a very unprofessional manner, sadly it felt like it was judgmental reaction of hers. Little did she know that I am a Dental Assistant myself of 10+ years and I can confidently tell her she needs to do better! Please Pediatric Dentistry do better. You are making Rhode Island Dentists look bad.

Fantastic experience: I have so many great things to say about Dr. Fotini Dionisopoulos, she extremely nice and respectful and my child and I love her. My now 5 year old had fears the first time being seeing but once Dr Fotini and her staff were able to get her to feel comfortable, she now loves going for her cleanings. Dr.Fotini and the hygienist does an amazing job on my 12 years old daughters braces, her teeth are coming out so great. Dr. Elice and the hygienist also do a wonderful job with her cleanings. The office is always clean and inviting. I would highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: There are so many great things to say about Dr. Fotini at this office and her team. Her capacity to relate to children and adolescents of all ages while attending to parents and their questions is phenomenal. She and the team are professional, patient and helpful at all times. From front desk easy appointment booking to the finance office all great. Both of our children have been seen by Dr. Fotini for several years now and we are forever grateful for all that she and her team are doing for the community of children and their parents. Amazing!!!!

Fantastic experience: We recently moved to the area and Pediatric Dentistry was recommended by a friend. Our 3.5YO absolutely loves going to the dentist. Dr. F and her staff make the kids feel comfortable and welcomed, and explain each step before they do it. They also offer lots of positive validation to keep my kiddo motivated to brush well at home. The balloons and stickers after the visit are always something she looks forward to! Very happy we landed in the care of PD here.

Fantastic experience: Everyone is wonderful. The dentist was amazing as well as the assistant. My son suffered an injury at school and we needed to get an emergency appointment, they were able to accommodate us first thing in the morning, I can’t thank this office enough ! My son was not scared and very happy to receive a balloon after his tooth was removed.

Fantastic experience: The BEST!! My boys are so shy/afraid of the dentist/doctor but they did so great because of how friendly everyone was! They always make my kids feel so comfortable and show them all of the tools before they use them so they aren’t so nervous. They even let my little guy sit on my lap because he was crying. Then they gave him a balloon, a prize and stickers - and gave him the same to bring home to my other son! They also have the best waiting room with toys, a tunnel and fish tank! I highly recommend bringing your kiddos here!
