Fantastic experience: I go to College of Charleston and needed to go because I haven’t had a cleaning in a while. The staff were so helpful and understanding, and the price wasn’t bad for not having insurance! I got x-rays and cleaning for $130 total!

Fantastic experience: I walked in the other day to schedule as a new patient, while I was waiting for the ladies up front to check in patients I noticed just how cozy the waiting room was. I love the fact that there's a fish tank to watch while you wait to be called, magazines to flip through, comfy furniture, and a lot of natural light. My previous office was full of tv's playing in just about every single room, it was refreshing to see how the waiting room was done. The ladies upfront were very helpful, I look forward to my visit in a few weeks.

Dr. Mackenzie Bocklet assessed me and was able to do a temporary buildup until I can come back for more extensive, permanent work to be done. Everyone in the office was friendly and helpful. I was very impressed by the practice as a whole.

Fantastic experience: Everyone is professional and nice. It's a busy place but I have never waited around in there. From the beautiful fish tank to seeing kids sift through a basket of treasures after their visit, this environment is from back in the good ole days. Nothing has ever been upsold or "suggested" to me. Dr. Vasko is very down to earth, explains things well and is a treasure if you are looking for an honest dentist who listens to you and talks with you about your goals. Very reasonable on cleaning prices too and has the new water machine technology. I've had 2 great dentists retire with a few bumps before finding him so I know a good practice when I see one!

Fantastic experience: Always a pleasure y’all know I love getting my teeth cleaned. So I had a cap that broken in half and I called them and they got me in that morning. They took great care of me as usual Dr. Vasco you can never retire.

Both her and Dr. Bocklet were thorough and very welcoming as this was my first time as a patient at this office. I will be recommending my friends and family!

I received so many recommendations for this office so I decided to try it. I skipped the dentist for 10 years due to a bad experience. Everyone here was so amazing. The hygienist was EXCELLENT and patient and the dentist was so kind. I even scheduled my 6 month visit!!!!! HIGHLY recommend.

Fantastic experience: I had a dental cleaning appointment today at Plantation Family DentalCare, and I was very pleased with overall experience. The doctor’s assistant, Jackie was extremely kind, professional, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. She was gentle and explained everything clearly. At the end of the cleaning, the doctor came in to do a quick check up. Unfortunately, I don’t remember his name, but he was also polite and respectful. The visit was smooth and efficient. I truly appreciate the care and professionalism of the staff.

Fantastic experience: First visit and absolutely love it! Dr. Kibbey and staff were very welcoming and helpful. There was no stress and NO PAIN at all. This is the very first time I was actually heard by a dentist office. She talked to me before cleaning and gave recommendations. I did need a filling which Dr Kibbey actually was going to do same day. That was surprisingly amazing cause last dental office that would not happen unless it was schedule. She did not push me to do cosmetic dentistry even after examining me. The office is open on Friday to fit my schedule and I will have same provider every time I go. This is a huge win for me. Can’t believe I m saying this but I look forward to my dental appointments in the future.

Fantastic experience: Today was my first visit to Plantation Family Dental Care. I am from Virginia, but am in Charleston often for several weeks at a time. So, this visit was a necessity, due to a tooth crown seperating from my tooth. The staff all treated me as their most important patient, and were beyond kind and professional. I saw Dr. McKenzie Bocklet, who was very professional and accomplished in restoring my tooth crown. I needed a dentist in Charleston with the amount of time I spend here, and today I have found that in Dr. McKinzie Bocklet and Plantation Family Dental Care. June 4th, 2025-Update Review: Today was my 2nd visit to Plantation Family Dental Care. My first visit just 5 weeks ago was a minor emergency with a tooth crown separating from my tooth. This time was the same issue with a different tooth. This never happens, but I am learning that my aging crowns do not last forever. So this time I knew where to go, and in less than two hours later, Dr. Bocklet had restored my crown. Without her and her staff to care for me at the end of their day, I probably would have been crownless until next week, which would be precarious and possibly lead to complications. Thank you, Dr. Bocklet, Dental Assistant Branon, and staff. I am grateful for your care.

Positive experience: Brutal!!!!!!!! The worst cleaning experience I have ever experienced. I choked on water twice and she kept yanking my mouth with the mirror instrument. I have a extremely sensitive mouth and she was very rough. I could barely close my mouth to allow the suction to do it's work before she was demanding i open my mouth. I am not the type to leave a negative review but this was beyond a little discomfort!!!!

Fantastic experience: Having had dental issues and phobias my whole life, I was pleasantly surprised at this entire experience. The hygienist, Jessica, made me feel very comfortable. She answered my questions and was very proficient at her job. Then I met with Dr. Bocklet, who was also thorough and very kind. The entire experience far exceeded my expectations. May 12. Today I was seen by Dr. Bensch. He was really wonderful. I can not say enough about how great he was! Definitely changes my opinion about dentistry!

Her personality and demeanor are immediately evident and important, especially during a dental visit! Having said that, her skill as a hygienist is incredible. Fantastic experience: I really appreciate this place. The last place I was at I felt like they were finding something and being super proactive all the time, but it was costly and unpleasant. After another big push to do something at the last place and some less than ideal front desk interactions over the phone with the last place when I had to reschedule (with plenty of advance notice), I decided to try somewhere closer to home. I had heard good things about Plantation Family Dental Care and decided to give them a try. The issue the other place was pushing Plantation said wasn't immediate and I'm going on three years since then. I appreciate that they always get me in either on time or really close to on time and they're efficient at what they do. I don't feel like they've overbooked and I'm just stuck waiting. I also have had really great interactions with every single person I've interacted with here... no matter if it's front desk, hygienists or dentists, all have been great.
