Fantastic experience: Dr. Miller went above and beyond to fix a cavity in my child's tooth. He was patient and took the time to explain everything and show him how the tools he was using work. He made accommodations for my child and went out of his way to try and make sure he was comfortable in a new and scary(to a 3 year old) environment. I was extremely impressed, and this will be my family's dentist of choice for as long as we are in the area.

Negative experience: My wife had a appointment for over a month. Waiting with mouth pain and on antibiotics. She was told that her insurance was excepted. The day before the appointment, the dentist office calls her and tells her they do not except her insurance. They should have known that when she set the appointment and gave her insurance information.

Had a second procedure today, an invasive one. And Dr. Miller was awesome. Took every care with my comfort and well being. Great dentist and staff.

I've been seen by at least 3 different dental hygienists for cleanings and X-rays and they've all been gentle yet determined to get every spot cared for. Last but not least, the ladies up front are always friendly but have a no nonsense attitude when taking care of the paperwork and schedules. My family and I have not been disappointed yet!

Fantastic experience: Went for my first visit last week after not going to a dentist for a few years, was very nervous. The entire staff from check in to check out was fantastic. My appt started on time and hygienist Katen was with me for about 2 hours. She was great at explaining what she was doing during exam, xrays and cleaning. Would return solely just for her gentle and kind demeanor. Dr. Tracy Riemland was my dentist. She was in and out quickly at 1st appt, and decided I had a cracked tooth from a silver filling that needed a crown. I was scheduled for temporary crown appt in 3 weeks as it was the earliest appt available. I asked if anything opens up sooner to call me. They called me 2 days later to come in the following day. I was so glad to get in much sooner. Alexis was assisting Dr. Riemland at this 2nd appt, and was also fantastic. She was good to check on me and make sure I was ok. Dr. Riemland explained how the temporary crown worked and made sure I had no questions before we started. She worked quickly and checked on me along the way. Professional but kind. I liked that I was able to watch TV as a distraction. I am overall impressed with this staff and the office. I never felt pressure for expensive procedures or cleanings, all prices were explained to me before hand. Felt very taken care of and my husband is going to switch over before his next cleaning also.

Fantastic experience: Klanderman, Klanderman, Klanderman was Fantastic and so was Ms. Alexis ! I went in for a tooth extraction. An x-ray was taken to verify the tooth condition, extraction points, etc . She explained everything to me nice and slow . Right from the beginning of the first injection ( which I didn’t feel a thing ) to the end of the procedure (to me seemed like a breeze ) Ms. Klanderman kept checking on me to make sure I was doing fine . Mrs. Klanderman skills along with Ms. Alexis, worked PERFECTLY! At the end of the procedure I was informed what to expect , and given a step by step form to follow. In all honesty the whole process felt a bit less than 5 minutes! Thank you Mrs. Klanderman and Ms. Alexis for your “ on point” professionalism , calmness and I had no anxiety…zero , none .

Fantastic experience: Trying a new dentist is not always the easiest experience but Middleburg Family Dental made it a very great experience. The front desk assisted with finding my dental insurance coverage since I did not have it readily available and keeping my almost 2 year old company while mama got her appointment out of the way. Gail and Dr. Miller were awesome in answering any questions I had, making me and my daughter feel comfortable. I really appreciated them going over what they found in the X-rays/ pictures of my teeth/mouth so I can better understand why they recommended certain things/ what I needed to have a healthier smile. Highly recommend Middleburg Dental!

Negative experience: Very Unprofessional!!! Made an appointment for my daughter on April for July 16 at 0800, they call at 0730 on the day of to tell me they need to Cancel the appointment while i was on the way. Apparently appointments don’t mean anything to them. If you need to cancel, at least give me a day notice. Not even worth one star.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to the practice and I was thoroughly impressed. I was seen on time and they took the time to go over everything.

Fantastic experience: I have only the absolute best to say about this dental practice. I have been a patient of Dr. Klanderman for about 3 years, after moving from out-of-state. Originally, she had a practice that was about 15 minutes away from me, but after going to her for six months (my first and second scheduled cleanings/check-ups), she then ended up leaving that practice to go to another practice that is an hour away from me. I went to one more appointment at her former practice and saw a new dentist that had been brought in to replace her, but I was no longer comfortable with the level of care at that practice. To me, it was worth the one hour drive each way to ensure that I could continue seeing Dr. Klanderman for my dental care. After 15 years going to a dental practice (in my previous home state) where I was shuffled around between 4 different dentists throughout those years, not one of them gave me the level of care that Dr. Klanderman has. To me, my teeth are worth the longer drives each way to ensure my teeth are in trusted hands. She listens, she explains, and she knows her stuff. A true professional. I will also say that my hygienist, Gail, is wonderful as well! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and makes you feel comfortable. Highly recommend Dr. Klanderman and Middleburg Family Dental Care! The practice and staff are wonderful and definitely worth the drive for me!

Fantastic experience: I came here for Invisalign and was blown away by the results. Dr. Klanderman is top of the line and goes above and beyond and she is super sweet. It took me about 1.5 years to go through my process. I have the before and after pics so you can see. I highly recommend going with them for Invisalign and all dental needs.

Fantastic experience: I’ve never liked going to the dentist, but having a dentist like Dr Miller makes it more bearable. He’s super nice, and makes his patients extremely comfortable. He makes sure our pain level is non existent to minimal. Serena his Crown Expert tech is one of the absolute sweetest young ladies you will encounter! I swear she’s hiding wings and a halo! Also, Vera at the front desk is a gem! Shes funny and helpful. My wallet wishes I took better care of my teeth when I was younger, but if I have to get my dental care on track Middleburg Family Dental Care is my go to place!

Fantastic experience: I was quite apprehensive about my dental appointment at Middleburg Family Dental yesterday. Karen, the dental hygienist, was wonderful, professional and kind! She explained each thing she did and I quickly felt that I was in excellent hands! That was a wonderful feeling as I am one of the those people that is very nervous when going to the dentist! When I met Dr. Miller, I was once again treated with respect,although I had gone too long without dental care! Now that I have found this office and these two people I will not make that mistake again! Their professionalism and kindness was outstanding! Negative experience: They're all about the money. They told my wife she had a cavity. We went to a different dentist and she didn't. They told me I needed a deep cleaning. That would have been months of recovery and pain. I only needed a water pick to get my gums back to health. If we would have done everything they said we would've been living there. Find somewhere else to go or go broke.

Positive experience: UPDATE ON REVIEW: Two years ago I left a five star review for Middleburg Family Dentistry, but that has now changed. For several years I have been very happy with the service they have provided to me & my husband. Jessica my dental hygeneist is very good at her job. She is professional & caring and does a thorough job. But this week May 1, 2025 I contacted their office to make an appointment because I had a chipped crown on my back right molar, but was told they could not see me until mid June (the 16th which is the date of my scheduled cleaning appt.). I was surprised & disappointed. I have a regular dentist that I see & pay twice sometimes three times a year and then when I have a concern about a tooth (chipped crown) & they cannot see me. That is the definition of terrible service. I was able to get an appointment with another dentist in Orange Park that was able to take care of the chipped crown. At this time I am seriously considering changing my dentist.

Fantastic experience: I had my teeth cleaned by Jessica and I absolutely adore her, she it's very gentle and has a great personality, everyone there is great, my friend needed a dentist and she is now going to get dentures. Keep up the good work.

Fantastic experience: Never have to wait long for your appointment and everyone is friendly and professional! Dr. Miller is so personable and is genuinely cares about your dental health! Have recommended several of my friends to this practice!

Negative experience: Beware of all dentists that are corporately owned, this one included, that tell you, you need a deep cleaning and ask you to pay over $1,000 out of pocket so they don't have to bill your insurance company. Dr. Miller actually asked me "What's the problem is it about the money?" The second ploy in this scheme is they that state that it is "unethical for them to do a normal cleaning once they diagnose you as needing a deep cleaning." I asked for them to show me the law, which of course they could not produce. It doesn't exist. In ALL forms of medicine you can elect to go against medical advice. But they press you so they can make more money and get it faster as you are sitting in a chair with your mouth wide open and they are saying "Sign here please..." In my case my insurance coverage does pay for deep cleanings if the necessary documentation is provided to the insurance. Instead, they wanted you to pay it out of pocket so save them the trouble of billing and collecting it. I have talked to 7 other people that have had these "necessary deep cleanings" 7 out of 7 said "They would never do it again..." I will say that my person that did my x-rays was nice and my hygienist were nice.

Negative experience: Spent 1.5hrs of “assessment” ending up leaving without teeth being cleaned. What happened to being able to going to a dentist for a cleaning instead of looking for ways a dentist can pay for their fancy equipment by over charging

Positive experience: actually this visit was a bit bothersome. I scheduled my daughter and I on the same day to get both of us established and when I arrived, after confirming the day before I was told that they only had staff for one of us. I took a day off from work for nothing cause my daughter at 20 years old could have got herself there. I did not receive a phone call ahead of time to let me know this and nobody tried to call. I also feel as if the cleaning/exam and X-rays were a little long for time spent as we were there for 2 hours plus some. I understand training but my daughter explained to me later the new tech was a bit rough at doing her images. I hope the future visits go a lot smoother.

Fantastic experience: This is the best dentist I’ve ever had. I decided to give them a try after having a horrible experience with my previous dentist. The entire staff is wonderful! Dr. Riemland and Dr. Miller are both excellent! Very personable and friendly. I never feel nervous about going to the dentist now. After moving to Jax I still drive to this office solely because of my hygienist, Jessica. She is the absolute best!

Fantastic experience: Recently retired from the military and needed to find a civilian dentist off base. After reading reviews online I scheduled my new patient appointment with Middleburg Family Dental. I had my new patient appointment today and I was so impressed with how clean the facility was as well as how friendly all of the staff were. I brought my baby with me and the staff held her for me so she wouldn't cry while I got x-rays. Overall very pleased and impressed!! So glad I chose Middleburg Family Dental!

Negative experience: UPDATE. Would give zero stars if possible. They inappropriately cancelled the appointment for a root canal, after sending a reminder 90 minutes before the appointment. When I complained, they cancelled future appointments and withdrew future service. Had to find another dentist to perform the root canal. Medical staff is good. Office staff is less than efficient and less than customer service friendly. Too much reliance on systems for notification and don’t confirm in person. I’m going to a new dentist. When I asked them to forward records claimed they didn’t have a release on file, even tho they had already sent them to another dentist that we had gone to for a second opinion. UNTIL OFFICE ADMIN STAFF CHANGES, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

Fantastic experience: I have avoided the dentists for years due to horrific experiences. Well I really needed to get on top of my dental health and decided to give them a try based off of other reviews. I must say, best decision ever! From the first office visit, they make you feel welcomed and not judged. They are fast and friendly, but most importantly good at what they do!

Fantastic experience: Very upbeat, pleasant. As of 11/24, they go beyond the basics (e.g., proposing fluoride treatments, sealant, biteguards as your situation indicates). These are not always covered by dental insurance, so it’s best to read up on these and what your insurance covers before you go to each visit, or you may have to go back after you go home and read up (best time for these optional non-emergency treatments, of course, is when teeth are freshly cleaned and the dentist has looked at your case—the office is fast-paced and you may be surprised). They leveraged an AI review of X-rays—just to prompt for a human doublecheck. At a first visit there were x-rays and a photographic array of all teeth as a baseline. If you prefer to pay cash, take change—they don’t keep change on hand. Not a knock on the office; just a note on the chaotic world of insurance plans: more complicated procedures are referred out (as is the case with much of medicine). Again, it’s best to think about your dental situation and look up in-network dental specialists before you go in (for crowns, root canals, periodontic work). Also, if you are referred, promptly verify with the specialist’s office that they are currently accepting your insurance even if your insurance company lists them—apparently the insurance listings are not always up to date, and some providers opt out without communicating that with the insurance company (lesson learned, but obviously not this office’s fault).

Negative experience: Terrible dentistry, unnecessary treatments are marketed to pad their pockets. 2 years of telling them something was wrong with my crown they did, they can't anything. I went to another dentist, Dr. Park took 5 minutes and found resin stuck in my gum from Middleburg dental doing a sloppy job and that the crown was high, causing extreme sensitivity. Also, the $1000 porcelain crown wasn't porcelain. Avoid this place like the plague.

Fantastic experience: I was in need of finding a new dentist as my previous dentist office had closed. I was due my six month routine cleaning and though an appt was not available until January, I was called in within a few days because someone cancelled. The office is clean, the staff was friendly and the doctor was very pleasant, engaging, easy to understand and took her time getting to know me. I am happy to have found a practice that is not corporate, does not push unwanted treatments, who doesn't force you into buying their insurance and who listened to me. It's refreshing to have found such nice people.

Fantastic experience: Great customer service! They made me feel like they really cared about getting my smile how i wanted it. My appointment was a few months out but i wanted my smile fixed to my liking before my birthday. They put me on the cancelation list. If someone rescheduled or canceled, I would be up next in line . As soon as the first person canceled they got me an appointment as soon as possible. They examined me, discussed treatments plans and provided the care that i needed all in the same day before my birthday. I left more than satisfied and i will be making Middleburg family dental my primary dentist! HIGHLY recommended!!

Fantastic experience: I want to say what a nice dental office this is. From the minute, you are greeted by the woman behind the desk to the woman who takes your ex rays to the assistant to the doctor. And the doctor, what a kind professional nice man. I called yesterday with a toothache to be seen the very next day for an extraction. Didn't try to sell me $50,000.00 dentures explained what I needed and didn't try to rip me off. I want to highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a dentist. I hate to say I'm actually looking forward to going back to get my teeth replaced sooner than I ever expected because this dentist and staff made me feel so comfortable. I hate going to the dentist. Now I like the dentist lol just don't like what needs to be done. But boy, he was good. I didn't feel a thing. He must have magic hands, lol. Thank you, doctor, so much. I was in so much pain it was a day before a major hurricane was going to hit, and I was worried I would be suffering if the power went out. The doctor understood, and I was taken care of in minutes. This place is the best.

Fantastic experience: You guys.are great. Need I say more. I was there yesterday, August 29 and saw Karen and she was just great couldn’t ask for anybody to be better at what they do than she is. And Dr. Miller as always is the best dentist I have ever been to.

Fantastic experience: Im so scared to visit a dental clinic but Middleburg Family Dental Care made me . They are so pleasant from the fromt desk the moment i checked in and finally meet my hygienist Miss Gayle. She is sooooooo wonderful whom made me so comfortable, im so grateful to Miss Gayle my fear went away. The first visit made me go back the next day & asking for another appointment as far as December. I highly recommend

Fantastic experience: It is time to update my review. I gave this practice a second chance, and I’m so glad I did. The hygienist Gayle is the main reason we keep coming back. She’s personable, professional, capable, conscientious, kind, warm, and excellent with children. She put my toddler at complete ease. Gayle is a lovely person; the practice is lucky to have her. We’ve also been very happy with the care from the dentists

Negative experience: Keep looking!! I had a dental emergency on a Sunday. I was up all night in severe pain and called this office in tears because I had recently seen them. I needed an emergency root canal, but the specialists were scheduling out months in advance. I was in so much pain that I was begging for an extraction. They told me they could fit me in so I came right in. They took X-rays…prescribed me some meds and she told me SHE DIDN'T HAVE TIME TO EXTRACT my tooth. I can’t speak for the other dentists but **DR. KLANDERMAN ** IS NOT IT. Thankfully I found two incredible teams to help me that day since it was a true dental emergency.

Fantastic experience: I recently had an appointment with Gayle at Middleburg Family Dental, and I couldn’t be happier with the care I received. From the moment I walked in, the front office ladies made me feel at ease with her warm and friendly demeanor. Gayle was incredibly thorough and gentle during the cleaning, ensuring I was comfortable throughout the entire process. She took the time to explain everything she was doing and gave me valuable tips for maintaining my oral health at home. Her professionalism and expertise were evident, and I left the clinic feeling confident about the health of my teeth and gums. I also met with doctor Klanderman for the first time. She took the time to listen to my concerns and provided clear and detailed explanations of why I may feel pain near my crown. What stood out to me was Dr. Klanderman’s dedication to patient education. She explained every step of the process, from the initial examination to the final treatment, and provided valuable advice on maintaining my dental health. She even took the time to talk to my son and joke with him. I wanted my kid to feel better about visiting the dentist (he is on the spectrum and is terrified of dentist office due to a bad experience at Myers Ped Dentist) and EVERYONE made this cleaning a great experience for him. Now he is okay with his next appointment. Thank you everyone for the excellent care you provided. I highly recommend this dentist office to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and compassionate dental hygienist and doctors. She truly goes above and beyond to provide exceptional care.

Fantastic experience: Dr. miller office is very loving to their patients. They care for you and work with you. Very nice and genuine. Dr. Miller is very caring to his patients and helps them right on the spot even in emergencies he will make something happen quick if possible. Very good office.
